One of my go-to places in BGC. My ultimate comfort food is their kimchi pilaf rice. The kimchi is not overpowering, and it just meshes so well with their chicken salad ❤️

This has been by far one of our go-to restaurants! Pasta is good with the right amount of creaminess and flavor that would make you crave. Pizza has the right amount of crisp and flavor. The meat and vegies are all served fresh and good!

Do you guys think that simplicity is still at its best? One of the reasons why I love The Cook by Hongleepark because of its simple menu and surroundings. There are only two branches of The Cook by Hongleepark and the one that I visited is in BGC. The restaurant itself has a clean and simple design. But the amazing thing is that they only offer at least 4 types of main dishes that have different flavors. Fewer decisions to make and more time for catching up with friends or just relaxing. The fact that each main dish has the same price even if it is a different flavor is a plus.
...flavors are good, the place is clean, and the prices are reasonable.. their ambience is intimate, and the overall experience was outstanding, well worth a visit on my book
This is one of my favorite restaurants in BGC. Their pastas are the best, especially their Carbonara and their Seafood Aglio Olio. We always order their Pork Steak Salad, too.
I've tried their Frentato Pizza. It was just okay. Maybe I just don't like corn on my pizza. Yep. Others are debating abt pineapples but The Cook went on and put corn. Hahaha. Kidding aside, other pizzas are good. Personal favorite is Gorgonzola and Honey.
Bonus points bc their Ades are sooo good.
Thanks Metrodeal!! We really enjoyed our stay here especially if you’re kooking for an Italian-Korean restaurant this is the place to be. The ambiance of the place was cozy, an open kitchen setup. I really like the bacon carbonara because of its creaminess even though it is a bit watery. The pork pilaf was really good and flavorful also. We’re planning to go back again..☺️😊
Thanks to Metrodeal, we were able to discover this place. We had a great time! The pork steak salad was so good, I especially love the salad dressing. The pork itself was tasty, I love the grilled taste. The gorgonzola pizza was also good - very tasty but not salty. We added hot sauce to the honey dip and it was amazing!
The only downside for me is that their serving is so huge and the price is quite steep. It's not as enjoyable if there's only 2 of you eating here coz one dish might be enough and you can't try other dishes.
Hope they come up with smaller size versions of their salad, pilaf and pasta.
Italian-Korean. Weird, right? But the fusion of two popular cuisines actually work! It’s “Italian” because of the pasta, risotto, pizza and the salads, but it becomes “Korean” because the sauces and dressings are packed with Korean flavors. We keep coming back for the seafood tomato pasta, the clam pasta, the chicken steak salad, and the meat tomato spaghetti. The bingsu - or shaved ice dessert- is really good, too.
We’re not too keen on the stainless steel plates and glasses, and the giant stuffed toys are a bit creepy, but hey, go here for the food, not the ambience.

You can't go wrong with the Group Set A - Pork Steak Salad + Seafood Tomato Spaghetti. 💕💕💕 We were 4 in the table and the food was enough for us since we were really not that hungry. Will definitely be back!!
Go here for Italian inspired Korean! All you need to order is Original Chicken Steak Salad and enjoy! A hefty portion of tender chicken marinated to perfection. It comes along with green leaves, corn salad, fried egg, French fries, cherry tomatoes and pineapple slices. This is a steal at the price and is certainly good enough for two.
The fruity-ades are good too. We had Peach-ade and Calamansi-ade. Plus they give you a fresh bread with sweet butter complimenrary
