It will help to have more knowledgeable staff. Especially on their menu selections. The placed is not that packed so there should be time for that. Please also enhance the taste of your ramen. Japanese ramen is famous for it's rich taste.
Nice place and great staff..
Serving a little small for the price, taste is 2points, 1 point for presentation, gave additional point for the ambiance and crew.
I am so happy to know that this cafe is pet-friendly. We’ve dined to dozens of restos in BGC and Makati. Our biggest struggle is to find one with outdoor seating so we can bring Ollie, our 3-month old Shih tzu. Guess what, they don’t have but they let our baby dog come in. Not only that, the guy from the counter welcomed us and even carried our dog in his arms like it is his own pet. He even walked him for a while! Food is great. There’s a vegan option. Prices are affordable. We and Ollie are definitely going back!
Matcha Heaven Indeed! The rice bowls were good it's just that the desserts is a stand out. FYI, I love matcha. That matcha fantasy is definitely a fantasy came true! The creamy layer of goodness topped with that earthy matcha powder. Everything just complements.
The matcha cheesecake was also good. The mango sago as well; creamy and the mango is perfectly ripe.

i nominate @nomicafe as the matcha place for you! tbh, me not bowling over this earthy flavour of sunog na dahon, but this place is promising, boasts of purpose and tasty food that ‘matcha’ just change my mind.
verdict?! dati i say a ‘matic NO when matcha is offered to me. now that i’ve tasted what NOMI has to offer, im like “ok let’s try it”. yes, andoon pa din un lingering earthiness of nature in the matcha 😹 but if your chefs know what complements it, then wala na tayong pag-uusapan, hehe.
my faves were the dessert, yet the chicken peato bowl was my favored mains. the pesto was packed w/ flavor and the chicken breasts strips were tender. it may look like it may not fill you but the jap rice will make sure it does.
the mango sago, omFg! they didnt use coconut milk, rather condensed milk. sweet and creamy great amidst the tangy magoes and the consistency of the sago was good too! their matcha cheesecake was less of the matchness then the red bean whipped cream added a daintyly delish complement to that cake. yum!
With all the stress this fast-paced world that we live in nowadays it’s easy for us to veer towards a sedentary lifestyle. One would rather laze around than do physical activity or choose eating food that give us comfort rather than proper nutrition. Stress eating? Tell me about it! I know that thing all too well! As much as I want to counter or address what’s causing me stress, I love food way too much haha! I’d rather me looking for healthy food that are still tasty.

Nomi's ambiance is so cozy! One of the best interior I've seen around BGC. I love their menu, there's a lot of healthy choices. I ordered Chicken Tonkatsu salad, superb!!!
It’s my second time visiting the restaurant. First visit, we only had the matcha fantasy and two latte drinks. Second visit, we had the Oyakodon, Chicken Yum Yum Karaage, Berry Power Up, Mango Madness, Mango Matcha Miracle, Pork Katsu Curry and Katsudon (last two are not in the picture). All have been satisfactory and presentation wise, I would give 5 stars. The aesthetic of the cafe is also quite pleasant.

Being a foodie, I find that when given a choice between what is flavorful and what is healthy, I would usually go for flavor. For me, eating is not just something I do to nourish my body; it is also something I do to calm my mind, soothe my soul or warm my heart.
The thing is: sometimes, there doesn’t have to be a line between flavor and health.
At Nomi Cafe, for instance, Japanese food are prepared using fresh produce and premium ingredients to present diners with a meal that whets their appetite while helping them keep themselves healthy.
Went mid afternoon and had the Salmon Aburi for a snack. Light serving but tasty. Probably need to order a couple of dishes if going for a meal. Attentive servers.
Love the ambiance. Food was good and the serving was just right. Overall a good place to have a meal with friends if you want to focus on having a conversation.
A new go- to for your Japanese cravings.
Food were so good! I love that they don’t twist the Japanese taste too much. The Kewpie dressing, the crackling flavor of chicken and the tasty soup of ramen- all of these, Nomi has satisfactorily met.
It’s a fairly new hub. The ambience is very good. The place looks clean and modern. Perfect for a peaceful yet bright afternoon meal.
A must- go and must- go back to restaurant in the heart of BGC.
Definitely worth zomato gold for the food and ambiance. Large serving and nice presentation. Instagrammable place and food. Ordered rice bowls really full bowl
Yummy rice bowls! Beef was tender, but a bit salty. Salmon was good. Veggies were also good, crunchy just the way I like it.
Too much rice in these dishes though. 😅 Good quality rice 🍚 though!
Food's great - my Gyudon was full of flavor. Would recommend. Maybe not for full price though. It's a steal with Zomato Gold 1 + 1 on food! Definitely coming back.
One of the good things about a restaurant is when you and your friend arrive early. Haha. We were the only customers who ate there and took pictures, enjoyed the ambiance and the foods. We usually go early so it won't be awkward when taking a lot of photos, and there would be no other humans in a picture. Lol. 😂
Nomi’s kawaii meets nature aesthetic allows it to stand out from other Japanese restaurants/cafes. Plenty of food options but we opted to go for Gyudon and Katsudon bowls. The food itself was good but it didn’t particularly stand out from Gyudon and Katsudon I’ve had before. Actually, the Katsu was also quite dry. We also had some appetizers like the karaage chicken and pork potato balls, they were also alright but some pieces of chicken was a bit dry and hardened again. Overall, I think Nomi is worth going to mainly for the ambiance and the Zomato Gold offer.
This cafe is so pretty, clean, and the concept is very creative. We initially thought the menu here is the typical cafe menu with the pastas and shakes but we were wrong, they serve really healthy food! I really love their salad and it's the first time I finished up to the last piece! And their berry shake is just right and not too sweet.
One thing I'm just disappointed with is that they lack all pork in their menu on our day of visit. ☹️
I might go back here whenever I just feel like having a me-time and eat some healthy food. I haven't tried their matcha line yet and I hope it's good.Thank you!
Great food..Nice interiora and very homey althpugh we had to wait for a bit because it is lunchtime. Food serving is just about right and good selection of rice bowls. Will definitely come back for the other options.
I used Zomato Gold's buy 1 take 1 promo.
Omurice is sooooo good! I'll definitely get that again.
For those who are trying to be healthy but wants meat, the beef brisket dish is perfect for you. Taste is light and comes with vegetables.
I also love the ambiance! Place is good for those who want to work outside of the office or study, while having a good meal.
The place is great, and relaxing. Food is great but the amount of meat in the servings seems few especially the Chicken Karaage Yum Yum in ‘Quick Bites’.
Menu is simple and offers you familiar Japanese favorites. The power bowls were interesting but we ought for the classics in our first visit. I liked my gyudon with very thin and flavorful beef strips. The chicken katsu salad was delightful with a tofu cream cheese dressing, adding a hint of salty and sourness to it. The karaage was nice and crisp with a flavorful breading. The omu rice was perfectly cooked, but the longganisa was a bit too sweet, and lacked spices. Hope Nomi can consider sourcing more authentic longganisa that can be better paired with the creamy omu rice. Will most definitely be back tho to try out the matcha drinks and desserts! 😊
Plaze is very cozy!
I find that the price is very reasonable to the serving size.
We ordered the omu rice and beef gyudon and used my zomato gold account.
We loved it!
This restaurant is sooo cute! I love their whole aesthetic and how they are “inspired by matcha”. The menu is reasonably priced too. I got the salmon aburi and it was really fresh and seasoned well. My boyfriend got a gyudon and he said it tastes like a much better version of Yoshinoya’s beef rice bowl. The chicken karaage was also enjoyable although the serving looks a bit small because of the presentation. I tried the matcha weight loss smoothie, because it had bananas in it haha! I really appreciate that it does not have a lot of sugar. Can’t wait to go back here and try their other matcha items 😍
We ordered the Vegan salad and it tasted great, especially the mushrooms. Staff was very accommodating as well. The ambiance was relaxing too.
I especially love the interiors at this Cafe. The messages on the wall, lighting, high ceiling, comfortable chairs, pleasant servers makes the food even more delicious (perhaps even than what they really are). The meals are just clean-tasting, and power bowls (i.e. salads) need a little more dressing (i bet if you just request for a tad more, they would oblige). I would come back for the happy experience.
Nomi deserves 5 star (or even more) great interior, attentive staffs, good food, easy to understand menu. Everything is just so perfect! I love their spicy ramen and the power bowls. Even their matcha drinks are to die for! This is a perfect place for date night, catch up with your old friend or of you want to feel good by yourself.
Dined at Nomi 3 times in 2 weeks and I guess that says a lot about my experience. Every one is nice, food is good and aesthetic space. Loved their Karaagedon, Gyudon the most so far👍 For desserts, loved the matcha tiramisu, ice cream and ultimately the smores!
Went here for lunch and tried the curry (nothing special) and matcha latte. The matcha latte is good. I would love to come back and try their other dishes and matcha desserts!
My friend and I ordered this katsu curry and karaagedon and... We loved it! The curry was very tasty and it was a pretty large serving. We also ordered the matcha tiramisu and cookie, both were pretty good.
If I had one complaint though, the staff made a lot of mistakes while billing us, they had to redo the bill about 3 times since they put the wrong items several times. Be sure to check your bill before paying!
Otherwise, it was a pretty good experience and the place was also aesthetically pleasing. Lastly, Zomato Gold is available here and all food items are part of the buy one take one deal! Honestly speaking though, I wouldn't have eaten here without the deal and I think the amount we paid is just enough since the items are pretty expensive without the deals.
My go to place for lunch and for my matcha cravings. I always bring my friends here too because it’s such a quaint and quiet place :) their matcha tiramisu is a must try. :)
Food
The food was great! Loved they had a lot of healthy options like cauliflower rice or brown rice.
Service
No complaints. Great and accommodating staff.
Already went here twice and both had great experiences attached.
Nomi’s ambiance and the interior design is very nice. The spicy miso ramen for me was very rich. And i personally like the chicken karaage and the presentation itself. 👏🏼

This is a very nice place, good food (we tried the ramen and katsudon and checkin karaage) attentive and friendly staff. I especially like that this has a very refreshing concept. Very cozy place.
Awesome place! Love the healthy options! The beef me up bowl was perfect! Tender meat and healthy cauliflower rice. Service was great too! The staff were very attentive
Food is presentable. I got the fire torched salmon with veggies on he side. Tasty and light. The side vegetables are fresh and crunchy.
If you are hungry get the Gyudon its good also.
Nomi restaurant has a very nice interior. Food plating is good. We got the following:
1. Salmon aburi bowl - great taste but suggest to add more salmon slices and add more sauce to appreciate the flavor more..
2. Shrimp katsu curry rice - the curry is very good but the shrimp is alittle overfried(?)
3. Omurice beef tapa - very good. A great fusion of filipino tapa with omurice.
4. Churros ice cream - was expecting more but "bitin" for that price.
Overall it tastes okay.
A must for matcha addicts, but a true matcha addict would have already known that...
I have visited this place a few times to feed my matcha obsession. I like their matcha latte, but somehow I prefer %Arabica's. I haven't tried their espresso beverages or their savory food. I have tried their desserts. Matcha brownie is too sweet. Mathca churros were just okay. Not much of that green tea taste and dipping sauce was too sweet. My fave and recommended dish is that churros bowl with matcha ice cream. Even my husband (who hates matcha--gasp, I know!) liked this dessert. Great for those who aren't ultra green tea fanatics...
Such a pretty color palette, btw!
This restaurant is for those who are looking for healthy yet yummy dishes. 🙂
We tried their bowls. I even upgraded my rice to cauliflower rice and it was really good. 🥰
We also ordered their acai dessert with berries which was surprisingly good as well. 💖
Thanks to Zomato Gold for this very healthy meal. The food is just right. We just added the ramen. Food was great however the ramen was a bit salty.
Our go-to place for when we need to work outside the office. :) Visually appealing and conducive enough to work. If you like matcha, then try out their wide choices of matcha food and drinks. :)
The food was great. You can surely tell it has fresh ingredients and was well prepared by the staff. The matcha tiramisu balanced the sweetness of the dessert base with the matcha topping.
However, the service time needs to be better as we had to wait for one of our orders to arrive (while other tables already had theirs). Instructions were also not taken note of by the staff.
One of my favorite healthy restaurants! They have a fairly extensive menu and I was surprised to see acai bowls in it. I don't think the acai bowl isn't super trendy yet here, so it was nice to see it in a local menu.
I've ordered the beef me up twice now. The second time I ordered it, I substituted the rice with cauliflower rice - so so happy they have this option! The beef was so juicy and tender, and the vegetables were all perfectly cooked.
As previous reviews have mentioned, the power packed bowls are indeed more veggies than meat, and I think they're perfect that way. The bowls are filling, nutritious and above all, delicious! I can't wait to go back and try their acai bowls and other items on the menu.
My boyfriend and I visited Nomi on 2 separate occasions.
I was more impressed with the items we ordered during our first visit compared to the ones we got tonight.
First visit:
- Pork Katsu Curry - They serve good curry with a reasonable pork cutlet-rice ratio. The dish was flavorful and my boyfriend enjoyed the dish.
- Beef Gyudon - The beef was super flavorful and the rice had enough of the sauce to make it good enough to eat on its own. It was just a bit salty, but nonetheless very delicious.
- Matcha banana smoothie - Refreshing and delicious. My only wish is that they could add more matcha to the drink.
Second visit:
I immediately noticed thay was a bit hard to call the attention of the wait staff during this visit. Upon enteirng the restaurant, no one approached to seat us and we needed to wait for quite some time.
- Salmon Aburi - The miso glaze was delicious, but I was just a tad disappointed to find that the salmon was just thin slices of salmon. There was more vegetable than meat. Thankfully, there was enough glaze to coat the rice so I was able to finish it even with just a few pieces of salmon.
- Chicken Power Bowl - The chicken was delicious, but we both wished the serving was bigger and the bowl had again, had more vegetables than meat.
Overall, Nomi is a good place to visit. I would just advise that you stay away from their power packed bowls if you're not that into veggies.

It was my first time to eat at Nomi. The salmon aburi that I ordered was fine though the serving of the food was normal. My college friend and I also ordered two desserts because we were curious about what Nomi can offer. All in all the food was satisfactory.

The food is nice and the place is so relaxing, this cafe is good for health conscious people and also perfect for a date. I used zomato gold and Bought 2 of these for 316 pesos including service charge.
Amazing place!!! Great food and awesome staff!! I pass by here sometimes and was always curious. They have a lot of delicious food too! Not just matcha dessert. Their meal bowls are delicious and this will definitely be my go-to lunch place!!
This was AMAZING!!! I can’t believe I haven’t found this place until just now. Wowww the food was delicious and the interior was such a fun place to go with my friends.
We had the chicken power bowl, the salmon aburi, and the curry. Everything was delicious and we had a great time :)
Definitely will be coming back more!!
Been here thrice on the same week! The cozy place will calm you. The food is so right for those that are on a diet but would like to eat a flavourful and sumptous food. I can guarantee an excellent service here. And of course, they accepts GCash!
Food is just okay, a bit pricey. Serving is just small. Ordered frozen acai with matcha yogurt but no granola available, they used coconut flakes which didnt go really well. Good ambience and interior.
Favorite place of my girl friends who are also matcha lovers! We love the relaxing ambience & colors. And we love the food - healthy & delicious options. We always get Chicken Katsu Salad every time we visit. I also love the refreshing Matcha Detox Drink (with lemon and cucumber).
This was an AMAZING food experience!! I came here with my friends for dinner and we tried 5 different dishes. We were so surprised by how delicious the food was. We tried the chicken power bowl, the salmon aburi, the ramen, and the curry was AWESOME!!
Also, the ambiance was a great place for friends to chill. Will definitely be back!!
I've been dying to eat at Nomi ever since they first opened last year. Their wide selection of matcha dishes was just too pleasing for my heart. So, when I finally had the time to go to BGC and try them out, along with my favorite person who also loves green tea as much as I did, PLUS, they're also a Zomato Gold Partner, there was no other perfect time to eat there but that night.
As you enter the place, you will feel a chill vibe. It's the perfect place to hang out with a friend and catch up with each other. The interior is so cute and very millennial.
Pork and Potato Yum Yum Korooke (Php 190.00): they were basically potato balls with bits of pork inside but what made it even tastier was the kewpie which is truly all you need in a Japanese dish.
Manila X Tokyo Omurice (Php 330.00): was such a delight! Omurice twisted into a favorite Filipino dish, Tapsilog? Who wouldn't order that right away? You can order it with Longganisa instead though. The egg was perfectly fluffy and the tapa was sweet but I wish there were more servings of it. I don't know if the ratio of meat to omurice was right.
Curry Rice (Php 330.00): We chose the Pork Katsu for our meat. I was really craving for Japanese curry and this one didn't disappoint. It's a bit stronger compared to the ones I've had before but if you love a strong ginger taste instead of sweet curry, this would be perfect for you. The veggies were a little tough but maybe that's just at the time we visited. I don't even eat veggies that much so it didn't bother me all too well.
Their Matcha Churros (Php 150.00): were my favorite! I was so full by the time we got to dessert but since I always reserve a space in my stomach for dessert, I managed to eat it. The combination of matcha with white chocolate is just heavenly. I honestly wished they replace the sauce with just more white chocolate instead of condensed milk.
This would be the first time that I'll be having my 5-point scale in writing a food review for my 5-point criteria namely, Food (Taste, Serving & Variety), Ambience, Location, Price, and Staff. 😊
Food - 3/5
Food is average. They have a good amount of healthy eats to choose from, however, among what me and my colleagues have tasted, it's not that much of a great buy. Serving is really just good for one, and for those who do calorie counting in their food, I believe one plate would more or less be enough for you. Although I wasn't really impressed with the main dish I particularly ordered (Chicken Power Bowl), I loved the natural mango taste of Mango Madness, a low fat smoothie. I actually want to come back to try their acai bowls and matcha desserts, since I suppose those are actually their bestsellers.
Ambience - 5/5
The place is definitely instagramable, with the green-themed interior complementing the healthy dishes they serve. Lighting is good, and it will really bring out the beauty on your #foodstagram shots.
Location - 5/5
It's easy to locate, just across Track 30th, a popular place for joggers in BGC. I think this one's strategically placed across the track to invite health-conscious people to try their stuff. The area inside is just right and spacious for small and big groups too.
Price - 3/5
I find the selection pricey, considering the price and serving. But I would say, healthy food choices actually are more expensive than not-so-healthy ones.
Staff - 4/5
Their staff were attentive to our queries and requests, and I believe the restaurant was manned enough to attend to every table's needs.
Their curry was awesome!!! I love their smoothie bowls as well, very refreshing. It’s actually a good after workout snack.
Will try their healthy bowls next time because they look so delish! Oh, and they even have cauliflower rice!

The matcha tiramisu is creamy and I can really tell that the matcha they used is authentic. The beef me up bowl is really delicious and the meat that they used is really soft and tender.
I love their Salmon Aburi! You should definitely try this! Their cauliflower rice is also delicious. Their smoothies are also worth it :) Kewpie really makes their appetizers tasty.
Their poke bowl is a must try. You can substitute the plain japanese rice to cauli rice brown rice or plain salad. Their matcha mango drink is surprisingly good. :)
I think this is one of those underrated restaurants in the Metro. First look at the restaurant and you’ll think that it only serves healthy food or salad but they actually offer delicious rice meals. We tried their Gyudon and Omurice and it was really good, though a bit expensive. Overall, the food and ambiance is great. Will definitely go back.
We claimed the food perks of our Zomato Gold membership. Their restaurant looked simple from outside, but once we went in, the interior made us feel relaxed. It's the kind of place I'd like to be at during breakfast or lunch time. My favorite area would be the seats on the left side with the thought bubbles. It somehow feels a bit private despite being open to the rest of the restaurant.
Salmon Aburi
(torched salmon, cucumber, grilled asparagus, roasted carrots, toasted sesame seeds, and ginger miso dressing)
I just loved it! Apart from being a fan of salmon, the overall mix was delicious and the veggies were crunchy, tasty, and refreshing.
Super Mojo Shrimp
(grilled spiced shrimp, roasted pumpkin, cherry tomato, chickpeas, mixed bell pepper, lemon, and roasted garlic dressing)
My favorites were the chickpeas and shrimp. It was just mildly spicy. I felt the same about the veggies but I wish they would serve more chickpeas.
Matcha Detox
I'll keep it simple: refreshing!
Tea-ramisu Dream
This was amazing and I could easily say the matcha they serve was legit! It was a good balance of bitter and sweet.
Matcha Churros
I consider this the grand finale because the presentation was already a perfect score! Those churros were very crunchy outside and soft inside, packed with bitterness and sweetness too! I tried my best to cover all that dip but I was feeling pretty heavy already. This, I can order again, easily!
The Curry Rice is soooooooooo good! Nice location ans nice ambiance. The Tea-ramisu has a balanced taste of sweetness. Good location for a simple great time with friends.. The envelope menu is so fancy :-)
place was really cozy and nice, perfect for late night talks! we arrived one hour before closing time, but glad that I didnt feel the rush on our orders. The entire menu was appetizing. The pesto chicken was superb.
Good service, great food, good ambience. Enjoyed my visit there and I love the healthy options on their menu 👌🏼 I ordered the bowl called F*ck Yeah I’m Vegan and an order or Chicken Karaage on the side.
A very cute and charming place, this is a must-go-to for matcha lovers. 😊
The Beef Gyudon, ManilaxTokyo Omurice, and Salmon Benedict were just okay.
My favorite was the Frozen Smores. I loved how they presented it - blow torching the marshmallow in front of us. It was a blast for both me and the kids. 👍
Foods good. Ambience nice. Servers are polite. They know their food. The ramen is delicious, good amount of noddles and spice and toppings. The “keep it cool” is really keep it cool. Lastly the drink is matcha and mango matched in heaven. Yumyumyum. Will go back.
The food is well worth it if you're a Zomato Gold member but the main selling point of the place is the cozy and quaint ambience. Funnily enough, the place serves alcohol too despite looking like an indoor picnic.
I’m not a vegan but we tried their vegan bowl with cauliflower rice and we loved it! Loved the rest of our orders as well. Churros matcha dessert is heavenly.
Good ambiance and good food!
There is a variety of choices sa food, pwede Japanese foods like Karaage, Katsu etc. or classics with salad for those who want to eat healthy :)
We ordered Katsu Curry,
Chicken Power Bowl, and Lychee Berry Shake.
Also a good place for those who love Matcha :)
Been here three times in a span of two weeks. Zomato Gold is partially to thank for it. Really love the ambience here, I just realized it has sockets and wifi so definitely a go to placeif you intend to work and eat! Food is mainly on the healthy side, it especially suits me coz' I look for something light but not too pricey meal for dinner. I'd recommend the Chicken Power Bowl and Beef Gyudon for the mains and Matcha Churros for dessert. ;)
Cute placemat (literally cute). Food was good and I like their simple interior. Staff was accomodating And thank you Zomato Gold for the bogo dea!

The food are delicious especially the curry but I think the Beef Me Up is a bit bland maybe there's not much taste in the beef or it lacks in dressing. Also, their matcha beverages are superb! Make sure to satisfy your Japanese food and matcha cravings here!
We originally went to Nomi cafe for dinner yesterday because we saw it on Zomato and the rating was very high so we decided to try it out!
It really did not disappoint! We ordered Gyudon and Curry Katsu and my boyfriend told me this was the BEST curry Katsu he has every tasted (he has been to Japan a lot of times already) so that is really saying a lot!
Interior wise, the seats were really comfortable and place was sparkling clean. Will be sure to be back! 💗✨
