Aivee Cafe

Manila has really been in need of cafes that make healthy food for a quick, no-fuss guiltless bite to eat. Today I went to aiveecafe at theaiveeclinic The Fort and had the perfect light lunch: veggie omelet with a side salad and a beetroot juice. The omelette was full of fresh veggies and even herbs like basil, and was cooked to perfection (not greasy in the least bit). After lunch, I had coffee and the quality of the coffee beans was on point! The cafe overlooks Burgos and has a picturesque view of trees just outside—the ambiance is elegant and cozy at the same time. The price points were worth the quality of the food and service and I will without question be back again. #TheNakedFoodiePH

I heard about the Aivee Institute because I am friends with one of the Hello K-Idol top 4. I chanced upon a video he shared on facebook and I saw that there is a cafe inside the clinic.

My visit there yesterday was unplanned. It so happened that my mini photoshoot with my friend finished earlier than expected and we thought that it is too early to go back home so we looked for a place to hang out. Then I remembered that Aivee Cafe is right in front of the first resto we visited.

We were pretty unsure at first if this cafe is open to non-patients as this is literally inside the clinic, but we were welcomed by their staff upon landing on their doorstep. I instantly fell in love with the overall place which is really clean and white and the calming scent as we walked towards the cafe.

Though the cafe part is pretty small, it looked very clean and since it is secluded and only a few people visit this cafe, the quietness is perfect for a me-time compared with coffee shops that become too noisy and crowded will all those city people (and it's BGC, so coffee shops are expectedly crowded). My friend and I were even too shy to talk to each other since it's really qjiet like a library, until there was another customer in the other table and we heard him talking with his friends.

Since our stomachs were still pretty full, we ordered a slice of the glutten free chocolate cake and the glowing skin shake and chocolate truffle. Well I heard that they specialize on healthy food and shakes, so I decided to give it a try. And yes, they are good indeed! I'm not used to drink health shakes but I really enjoyed my glowing skin drink, and I am planning to go back there one day to try another one of their healthy shakes and the other food I see in the photos.

The only thing I didn't like about the place is that it feels warm because of the sun shining directly on the window and the blinds/curtains cannot totally block it. It was like past 3pm when we came there and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

But anyway, I enjoyed my Aivee Cafe experience and it is quite memorable to me because it will forever remind me of my HKI friend who will be leaving for South Korea in a few days. Thank you! :)

For my birthday this year, I decided that Aivee Café would make a lovely dining place to have dinner in — and I was proven correctly. Upon entry, a rather exquisite and picturesque lobby with French interiors will greet you.

The café being an extension situated inside the clinic, there wasn’t much noise save for the faint music being played from the speakers and the comings and goings of clients there for a procedure. That being said, I was unaccustomed to eating in such a hushed place that I was well aware every time my cutleries clashed into my plate. Tee-hee!

We ordered: a Chunky Chicken sandwich, Hainanese Chicken (385php), Bistro Shrimp Scampi pasta (410php), Fish & Chips (440php), Chicken Caesar salad (300php), Kaler smoothie, and a ripe mango fruit shake. (I had expected to have some wine to go along with my food, but alas, they do not serve any.)

We were all delighted with how everything on our table tasted so good! I especially LOVED the pasta, the fish & chips plus my Kaler smoothie! My Mom and I were so impressed by our overall dining experience that we talked about going back here and maybe even try a procedure or two at the clinic!

Their shrimp and avocado sandwich was really good!!! And the chips were also perfect for the sandwich. A bit pricy but the service and wifi connection makes it worth it. The interiors are really posh! Lots of marble and shiny things.
