Went with the rice adobo flakes, food served super quick, servers are kind and professional, the adobo was unique in a flaky way. the egg cooked perfectly. Coffee was very good as well- warm, nice crema, nice foaming

What more can I say, this place is one of the best we've dined in...we are well accomodated, our tummies were full, my kids enjoyed all the dishes served, and the staff are very attentive.

Most recommended - Lechon Carbonara

In previous visits, we tried the Callos Buns. Quite a novelty dish looking semi-Chinese on the outside but very Iberian on the inside 😊 We skipped it this time to make room for another favorite: Aglio Olio Con Chorizo. I swear it’s a better, hearty version of the Italian pasta.

I just love their Garlic and Cilantro Clams and Mussels. I had to stop myself from ordering a cup of rice at this point. No paellas; not exactly my favourites here. But I would have loved to spoon some of those clams and mussels with all that chimichurri drippings into a cup of steaming white rice!

And don’t forget those starters: mushroom soup, Calamares salad, Scotch Eggs and Gambas. A bottle of Rioja or Shiraz is all you need to complete this delightful meal.

Always loved the food here. Lechon carbonara and Tapa Buns FTW.

Tried their garlic adobo flakes recently and enjoyed it. Sama the rice was garlic rice also.

Came in to celebrate the last work day of 2018. Enjoyed the porchetta. I recommend the carnitas, croquettas and spicy squid.

Update 03/20/19:

Love the Lenten specials here. The paella balls are fried breaded paella that’s a new favorite of mine. The bangus sisig is pretty good, very creamy.

The place is a but tricky to find. But the food is great and the ambiance is cool. Service is good too. We loved the Calamares Salad. The vinaigrette compliments the veggies really well. The Chouxros are also good. Crunch on the outside, soft inside. I love the fact that you can dip it in either chocolate sauce or whipped cream. The skewers are so-so. The meats are dry as sponge and I'm surprised that it doesn't come with a sauce. Feels vague not to drench the meat into anything. The pumpkin is also good. The portion is very cute.

After trying out Mamma Mia in Uptown Mall, we went to Cafe Enye in Citi Plaza to try out their dishes. It's a bit difficult to find since it's located inside the Citi office. You can ask the guard where Cafe Enye is--it's worth going to. Cafe Enye is Colonial Spanish-themed. Hence the Enye to represent it. The theme has been well-thought-of because the owners really did much research on the Spanish Era--from the interiors and down to the dishes on the menu. I like the ambiance of the place--very cozy and has good lighting.

The letter Ñ, pronounced as "enye" is a quite unique character. It is considered a letter in its own right and has its own place in the alphabet. This letter has its roots in many other ancient languages and has its influence in many other vernaculars in the world, Ñ has been chosen to represent the identity of the Spanish language, especially as a result of the battle against its obliteration from computer keyboards by an English-led society.

I still remember when I tried the Brunch Menu of Cafe Enye at Eastwood, and I felt that I wouldn't be surprised to see more branches of this delicious discovery in the near future. A year later,  Cafe Enye finally decided it was time to expand, with its second branch opening at Bonifacio Global City!

lunch was amazingly good. i did not expect for it to be, but it was and what’s even better is that they have these express lunch bowls that are readily yet freshly made and it catered well to our palates. i got the seafood sofrito rice bowl and my amiga had the chicken chimichurri rice bowl. both were served with fried egg and that scrumptious java rice. the seafood was sweet and tender and fried (w/c i love) and the chicken was roasted and not gamey at all. the drinks were refreshing and again surprisingly delish. the ginger pineapple lemonade was pronounced and the cucumber calamansi gave out a sweet tangy jolt. the chouxros i liked because it had a bready flare to it but chocolate sauce fell flat to impress, it was a bit watery and cant help compare with the other churros store. overall, it was good and id love to try their other offerings.

It’s always an interesting experience finding restaurants that offer something that will take you on a culinary journey. Colonial Spanish cuisine may be familiar, but it can take one’s taste bud on an adventure when it has an influence from other parts of the world. In one of our EATSperiences, we experienced Colonial Spanish dishes on a different level. Executed with influences from Latin America, Africa and Asia, this hidden gem restaurant gave a refreshing take on the Colonial Spanish dishes that may be familiar to most Filipinos. Did we say hidden gem? Join us as we share with you our latest BGC EATS with Cafe Enye at Citi Plaza. Enjoy!
