I like the experience you get when you eat at the restaurant. It's not like other restaurants because you sit beside strangers and just watch them cook. I also like their ramen because the broth is milkier than other ramen stores. I sometimes feel like their prices are a little extra, but I guess their premium pricing is justified by the experience you get when dining there. I find the staff to be attentive and friendly.

One of the best ramens in town. Promise! This quarantine period, I don’t know how many times exactly I went there to eat ramen.

Food- Highly recommended ang shio
Or shoyu along side with gyoza. Perfect combination talaga siya! Super favorite! Very rich ang broth.

Place- Very clean! They make sure to sanitize before and after eating.

Price- High! But worth it naman.

Note: During community quarantine

Food - I undoubtedly selected the best choice for my first time dining experience - the Super Chasu! Turns out, one of the best decisions I made! *wink* The broth has a sensationaly rich umami taste, noodles was chewy, just the right consistency I am looking for, and last but not the least, the overwhelmingly upsized chasu was very tender and well-marinated. Sides Aji Tamago and Gyoza are worth mentioning as well. Truly, an exceptional meal!

Place - I thought this quarantine period was a perfect timing to dine to avoid long lines but boy, I was wrong! I arrived few minutes after the opening time yet I had to wait for at least 2 hours on queue to dine. Dining-in guidelines under quarantine protocols are observed as shown in the photos. I'd also like to commend how systematic their dining-in process was, dining tables and chairs were consistently sanitized every after each customer and comfort room was neat.

Price - High.

One of the best ramen places in the metro. Highly recommend ordering Shio and Shoyu ramen, along with some gyoza, aji tamago, and extra chashu ❤️

Ramen Yushoken's sister restaurant, Mendokoro Ramenba pretty much has the same offerings. I still had my usual TanTanMen but at the same time, was craving for chashu. Thankfully, one of my friends ordered one of their (not so) secret menu items, the Super Chashu, and oh my, that chashu was glorious!

The quarantine has me browsing the internet for restaurants that deliver, and imagine how happy I was when I discovered that Mendokoro Ramenba is part of the list! That's means that ramen lovers can enjoy their favorite noods— from their Shiyo, Shoyu, not-so-secret Giant Chasu, among others. Plus, their Gyoza is up for grabs too.

While the line is long, and a 2 to 3 week wait is in order, it's important to note that they send Ramen Kits to you. That's deconstructed elements of your ramen, which you then have to heat up and put together. There may be work involved, but the end result is worth it because you get ramen as though it were freshly served in the restaurant itself.

So far, my favorites include their Super Chasu— a  meaty ramen that comes with a rich pork broth, springy noodles, and a massive (and I repeat massive) slice of slightly charred, slightly sweet but savory pork. Another fave was their Shoyu— a classic, soy-based ramen with a thinner slice of pork and the same rich broth. The Gyoza is a must-have too. The filling is just like the chasu— savory but with a subtle sweetness. Skin is not thick, and it has that combination of softness on top and a satisfying crunch once you reach the bottom.

Sadly, Quezon City isn't covered by the delivery, but if you live somewhere in Makati, Pasay, Taguig, Pasig, San Juan and Mandaluyong, you're lucky enough to be part of the area. Now, I'm secretly hoping someone will send me noods. Noodles, mind you. Not nudes. Yikes. 🤣

I've eaten here a couple of times and I never understood the hype until I tried their Super Chasu (first picture). It's in the secret menu. The broth was flavorful and creamy. Add a little more chili oil to make it even better. The meat was so tasty and was cooked perfectly—crispy on the sides, tender in the middle. Plus the meat comes in a big portion, I wasn't even able to finish it. This is a bit more expensive tho than the rest. It's Php 560.

Giving it a 4.5 rating though because I believe they could improve on the noodles. Make it softer. Or give the customers the option how they like their noodles like in other ramen places.

Their gyoza is good too!

The other ramen we had is Miso Ramen. The broth tastes almost like the Super Chasu's except it has a more veggie taste. The chunks of meat were superb.

This place had so much hype when it opened and up until now, people would line up just to get in.
I've tried their Shio Ramen and I realized why people are willing to wait just to eat here. Everything about the ramen was perfect, and it's fun to see the staff doing their thing and magically creating your food in front of you.
Downside is that since there's always a queue outside , it felt like I had to rush eating my meal as well. So as to give others their chance to eat too 😅. The place is too small for the crowd who wants to dine, hopefully they could expand.
Serving is small for the price. If you compare it to other Ramen houses, their serving portion is a bit small, which is okay, at least I can finish it all and crave for more 😅.

Been eyeing the place for years but always failed to try it as lines were always full! Had the opportunity around January 2020 to finally try it and it didn’t disappoint :) Best ramen ive tried so far and lining up was very well worth it!
