Popped in Via Mare for lunch after a check up at St. Luke's. Ordered a bowl of Arrozcaldo. It was warm and flavorful with huge chunks of chicken. Ordered my favorite Arroz ala Cubana as well. All good as expected.

Love the food, serving was more than what my little stomach can handle. Flavor on point for the Filipino palate. We had the Crispy Pork and Chicken Adobo and the Vigan Longganisa.
Side note: saw one of the crew members offer a glass of water to someone who was picking up orders (probably an online food delivery service). They respect everyone!
I visit this place for putobumbong and bibingka.
Place:
✅Busy place, a lot of diners since this is located inside the hospital
Must try:
✅Putobumbong ⭐
✅Bibingka with Laguna cheese and salted egg
✅Crunchy boneless dilis
✅Crispy adobo place
✅Monggo soup
✅Kare-kare
Service:
✅Good - for a branch that is always jam-packed and super busy
I’ve ordered Tortang Alimasag and...
I loved it! The funny thing about my order was that I said I want Tortang Alimasag but the waiter pointed to an item below and wanted me to order Pinais Na Alimasag, which is P200 more expensive 😂
The portion size is quite large because of the vegetable rolls, so I couldn’t finish it all. The torta is really yummy. Somehow, I’ve never had it before. The taste reminded me of crab sticks but I think it has none (sana). Sometimes I would stumble upon crab shell, so I had to eat carefully in order not to break anything.
The veggie rolls were big and had a lot inside, I just wish there was a better sauce than ketchup or vinegar to assist them.
The place has a fantastic selection of Pilipinong ulam. I’m curious to visit again to try more. Minus one star because of shells in the torta and price ranges. I would expect local food to cost a bit less. That said, I have a feeling this place is way better than Max’s overall.
July 9, 2018 The tinapang bangus for 280 pesos was a solid delicious meal. It comes with garlic rice, creamy fluffy scrambled eggs and a vinegar chili dip. I prefer Via Mare and their plentiful rice meals compared to the other restos on the ground floor of St. Luke's BGC. The service was fast, the dishes served hot and they also have courteous wait staff.
When here for a check up, have some Via Mare. After my check up, we headed over to Via Mare for some well deserved snacks. We ordered their famous puto bongbong and coffee.
Their puto bongbong is served hot with a nice dab of butter, coco sugar, and coconut shavings. Consistent and delicious thru the years. Nice to have options while at a hospital.
We had breakfast at Cafe Via Mare after my prenatal checkup in SLMC-BGC. We ordered their Spicy Tuyo with Scrambled Eggs and Fried Rice. Although a bit pricey, the food is good with generous serving. Service is fast too.
Well i wouldn't recommend this to those who are on a budget cause 200 ++ pesos for a daing na bangus is a too expensive but if you are ready to spwnd then you must try the filipino classic dishes here. We got the daing na bangus and crispy binagoongan both were excellent in terms of taste. Them for dessert we got the famous puto bumbong, it wasnt so good but it was okay. Well thats from someone who loves puto bumbong from cavite.
Still a solid
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Another place to sample Filipino food. Since we went there after lunch, we got mostly the desserts. We got a couple kinds of bibingka, puto bumbong, lumpia, lomie, and ensaladang bagnet. The highlight for me was the bibingka and the ensaladang bagnet. It was my first and only time eating bibingka, so far don't really have anything to compare it with, but I thought it was a a nice dessert with a mix of texture and sweet and savory. The ensaladang bagnet was super refreshing with citrussy dressing and super crunchy bacon like pork chips. Keep it up!
Best bibingka ever! Perfect taste! Soft and chewy red egg plus heaps of butter and sugar with coconut! This is still the number 1 bibingka for me in the Philippines! A surefire classic forever!
