Rich kid feels! The food were good esp the baby back ribs. Delicioso! The nachos were a little bit of and the color for me was intimidating. Haha. Also, the place is modern-classic but for me was not complementing. Overall, the foods are awesome!
It was an awesome experience ever! I got to treat someone special for the upcoming natal day! The staff were very accommodating! Kudos! The price were a bit pricey but it all worth it! :-)
Staff are very friendly and accomodating. When we got there we thought the store was still closed so we just stood outside but a staff member approached us at the instinct that we were there to dine. Then we were ushered to a table with a comfortable couch.
At first we thought the food is pricey but when they were served we were surprised because it was for 2 servings per dish. We ordered pasta vongole, spaghetti, and red velvet pancakes, then one drink each for the three of us. All our orders were delicious and satisfying!
The place was also very instagrammable. I loved the black and white theme contrasting the colorful dishes/drinks they serve. Their comfort rooms was also well maintained.
Overall, it was a very memorable experience.
Thanks! :)
While the brand explicitly suggests what they're all about, The Sugar Factory is more than just a posh, and lavish candy shop for the sweet-toothed; it's also a restaurant giant, with quite an extensive menu to get lost in! From breakfast items, entreés, desserts, and all different kinds of milkshakes, and cocktails, it's really easy to get distracted. 😀 But if you're just like me who always has a back-up plan when intimidation gets by, just order something familiar. 😌 Pasta. 😊 We ordered a plate of Spaghetti Bolognese, and Truffle Alfredo. Surprisingly, they were both exceptional, coming from a restaurant that doesn't have any claims about serving great pasta! 😋 Though hesitant at first, for I'm used to the Filipino type of spaghetti, when it's sweeter, the better, their Bolognese was pleasantly sour, and sweet at the same time. Much like a traditional Italian Bolognese, but tweaked a bit closer to the Filipino taste. The Truffle Alfredo was also a big win, as it was creamy, and rich, all while the grilled chicken breast complementary breaks the heaviness of the dairy with it's smoked, charred flavor. 😋 As side dishes, we got a bowl of their calamares, which was good, and a platter of their nachos! 😋 One of the restaurant's highlights perhaps is their beverage menu, and we knew we had to try something off of it. We ordered a Chocolate Cookie Jar Milkshake, and the "Make A Wish" Milkshake! 😋 They were so good. 🤤 Handsdown, the best milkshakes I've had in the metro. 🤤 Rich, and creamy, it's the full milkshake experience. I personally picked the "Make A Wish" Milkshake, as I have always been a fan of "bithday mix" flavors, and this shake didn't disappoint! 🤗 We also managed to try their cocktails in Choco Mint, and Watermelon Rancher. As it was broad daylight, we opted to go forego the alcohol, and it was still quite an experience! The Choco Mint was rich, hinted with just the right amount mint, while the Watermelon Rancher's sweet-sour nature cleansed my palate well with all the dairy overkill I consumed; but really, I'm not complaining. 😋 The staff were accommodating, and attentive, all constituting to a very pleasurable dining experience. Would I come back? Definitely! For the millshakes, to be honest. 😋
PS: (Food servers Philip, and Ferdie should get a raise, or a promotion for impeccable waiting service! 😀)
Absolutely positively adore this place! My family loves it here. Plus points to the staff - Ferdie was our food server, he was so nice, attentive & accommodating. Keep up the good work and more power!
The menu is so extensive and everything sounds and looks so good! Of the things we ordered, we really liked the Farmer's Burger and the Banana Split. Good to eat here as a group so that you can sample a little of everything. Hope to try one of those milkshakes on the next try.
I really love the foods I ordered. They all tasted great; the crews were nice and attentive. Though a bit pricey on the side, they crafted their foods pretty well. Everyone should try their Nachos, too!
It's a pretty good place here especially if you like drinking. Hihi. We just had dessert here and you should really try their goblets here. It's really expensive. Our Watermelon Mojito was 520 pesos but it's good for 3 people so I guess it's okay. :) the mojito was really yummy! :)
We had a friend celebrating his birthday tonight and decided to celebrate it at sugar factory.
It's a different dining experience and we enjoyed it although price is quite steep. First off, we ordered two of their goblet specialties- lollipop passion and raspberry watermelon and both were really really good! The presentation was quite amusing and entertaining as well. Very instagrammable although it doesn't come cheap. Even so, I still highly recommend you try at least one of this for experience :)
Moving on to the food, we ordered their appetizer sampler and I must say I really like this - it comes with buffalo wings, chicken tenders onion rings and potato cheese ball.
We also ordered their calamari but i suggest you skip this as it's all flour and can't even taste any squid.
For mains, we had their paella and it's a thumbs up for me. Rice they used is really the one for paella and it's an authentic one. I recommend this.
We also had their chicken Parmesan and other beef dish which are both average for me.
Hope that I'd be able to try their other dishes sometime in the future.
It was alright. Went there for a quick snacking. Ordered the following:The Farmer Burger- Tender, juicy, and tasty. Rigatoni Marinara with Grilled Marinated Chicken Breast- Nothing special. Tastes like canned tomato sauce. Even the chicken seems stale. Chocolate Milkshake- Not a fan of anything "chocolate" but the beau loved it!Vanilla Milkshake- Best milkshake in town, I supposed.*** Food- 3.5/ Ambiance- 4/ Value for Money 3.5
Sugar Factory was one of my long-time bookmarked restaurants to try out. The time I finally did, it was to celebrate my sister’s birthday. With it being post-holidays on December of last year, most of the food selections in their menu lacked an ingredient or two, thus we had to opt for other food items.
I had planned to order Fried Chicken & Waffles but I was told their waffle maker was broken. Instead, I ordered Nutella chocolate chip pancakes for I was in the mood for breakfast food for dinner at the time.
To share among our group, we ordered a Mediterranean salad and a Calamari Fritti as an appetizer; the Big Cheesy burger and Country fried chicken as main dishes; Rigatoni Marinara, Fettuccini Alfredo, and Spaghetti and Meatballs pastas. To drink we had a Make A Wish milkshake, Chocolate Cookie Jar milkshake, a Berry Bliss and Mai Tai goblets.
Sugar Factory being a famous specialty restaurant in America, you can expect nothing less but delicious food with Huge servings (yes, huge with a capital H). Not to mention the very American interior of the place with photographs of some of my favorite artists’ posing with their own Sugar Factory goodies framed on the walls. The place was high-ceilinged, too, which was a plus for me.
After about almost 2 hours that we spent eating and eventually finishing all the food we had ordered, we took to their Candy Store to fill our pockets with sweet treats.
In the end, I had to give this visit with only a 3.5 for the service given to us was rather dismal and bothersome. Despit that, the good food made up for it.
This is a late upload, We went there last December 3rd week for our Barkada Christmas Party.
⭐️ Place and Ambiance:
The place wasn’t that big as I thought it would be, There is a candy shop before you entered the place where there were pictures of international stars buying their candy (since the place was originally from Las Vegas). The ambiance was cozy at the same time fancy.
⭐️ Food
We ordered the ff:
Spaghetti bolognese 5/5
Rigatoni Marinara 3/5
Truffle Alfredo 3/5
Sugar Factory Club 5/5
Fondue 2/5
* I normally don’t eat sandwiches but the filling of their sandwich really got me! :)
* The fondue was mundane at the same time overpriced :( Not a MUST.
⭐️ Staff 5/5
First came here when some of my hubby's relatives came home from London. The kids enjoyed the Chocolate Cake and Ice Cream, while the adults either had tea or some cappuccino.
The second time hubby and I went here, it was my birthday. I ordered the Calamari Fritti for an appetizer, the 10 oz Black Angus Prime Rib-eye with Red Wine Sauce, with a side of Mashed Potatoes and sauteed veggies for my mains; and one of their infamous Goblets, mine was the Berry Bliss without alcohol Goblet.
My friend and i ordered the truffle alfredo, buffalo wings and shared the chocolate cookie dough milkshake. When the pasta came i was hesitant at first coz when i tried to use my fork, the entire pasta came with it so i wasnt sure that it was fresh but it tasted good. I should have added chicken or shrimp though coz it tasted plain. The buffalo chicken wings were also fine, a bit spicy though the portion was quite small. The milkshake was delicious. Good enough to share, though i found it a little sweet. Overall, not bad, next time would like to try their pancakes and desserts.

Their Truffle Pasta is to die for! 🤤🤤🤤
Also love their cheesecake and red velvet cake. Serving is quite big and I recommend food sharing. 😊👌🏻
Read the reviews here in Zomato and indeed their Paella is very very good! Big serving too! Love that it has quail eggs, chicken chunks, big shrimps, mussels and clams! Yum!
We also got their Nachos. My friend ordered this first while she was waiting for us to be complete so the Nachos were as is (if I was the one who ordered, olives and onions are off), but I loved their Nachos so much despite my dislike for onions, I enjoyed this!
My friend got their Chocolate Milkshake which is super big. For P200+ it was so worth it, I think 2-3 persons can share a serving of milkshake! I ordered their Choco Martini without the Alcohol in Peanut butter Cups. Good but I got jealous of the size of their milkshakes!
Will definitely be back! Nice place, great food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Was just there last sunday with a friend.
Service: 3/5. Just ok. Kinda slow at times.
Ambience: 4/5 the booths were cozy and felt private. But the atmosphere didn't feel like that of dessert oriented.
Food: 4/5: We ordered the banana split sundae and the berry bliss goblet with alcohol.
The banana split was great. It can be eaten by 1 person or can be shared between 2 people. I liked the 'surprise' candies, crunchies and chew stuff at the bottom of the ice cream.
Berry bliss. This was the disapointment of the night. Didn't taste well even with alcohol. We regret to have ordered it. It can be shared by up to 4 people.

It was my first time to visit and try Sugar Factory in the Shangri-la at The Fort arcade, and I went with my two sisters. The place was classy and well-decorated, taking after their branches in the US. We took a booth which comfortably sat the three of us. The round table, though, was a tad too small.
As for the food, most of the items we ordered were good; a few were standouts, while the rest was just ordinary. Be sure to prepare to cash out a pretty huge amount since their prices are on the high side.
1. Artichoke dip (PhP 395) - Good appetizer; the dip was great!
2. Clam chowder (PhP 295) - With generous serving but lacked in flavor
3. Paella (PhP 795) - Don’t believe what the menu says. It’s not for 2-3 persons; it’s actually for 4-5! :) Rich, flavorful and with plenty of toppings
4. Rigatoni marinara (PhP 325) with grilled chicken (+PhP 105) - I enjoyed this dish. Wasn’t able to finish it, though, because the portion was good for sharing
5. Red velvet cake (PhP 385) - The slice was tall and huge, and was thus filling. Taste, however, was just plain
6. White chocolate cheesecake (PhP 415) - Now this was the highlight of our first visit. This is one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever tried!
Service could be improved. The attendants should be more attentive to what the diners need.
Overall, it was a good experience. :)
Memory Lane Milkshake - at first, it may look pricey but the price was justified by the huge glass. It has vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and marshmallows topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and waffle cone pieces. As you can see, only the bottom part of the cone served as decoration so, where did the rest go? It went into the milkshake which made it soft and felt weird 'coz who want their waffle cone soft? I found nothing special with this one as it is "old fashioned" but I will surely come back to try the other drinks.
Price: 325 php
Table for: 1 huge glass of milkshake that you can share or savor alone
Milkshake Rating: 3.5/5

So I had a reservation here a month ago for my girlfriend and I’s monthsary. I’ve been seeing this place for a while now and their drinks and desserts menu has really gotten me craving for quite some time so when I was able to save enough money, I brought my girl here to try it out.
Ambiance (5/5)
Located right below or in the area of Shangri-la Fort, Sugar Factory also radiates with glamour and luxury. The moment we got in, we immediately noticed how clean, decorated, and festive the whole place was. We were warmly greeted by the waiters and the place did not disappoint. The music they played was lively and meant for the youth, probably also due to the fact that this was around Halloween season. The area was spacious and even had a second floor but I failed to give it a look. A separate area was there for the desserts bar where you can buy candies and other goodies for the go. I got the circle sofa chair for our seats because it was perfect for picture taking since it had decorations all over it and it was leather. Hehe!
Service (4/5)
The waiters were indeed fast and friendly but they were a little bit in a hurry if you ask me. Compared to other high-end restaurants, our waiter was polite but wasn’t very accommodating as to suggesting what to order or what he recommends. He was efficient though because we didn’t wait that long for our orders to be served.
Food (5/5)
I was a little bit overwhelmed with all the selections of food that they had in their menu! No complaints there though because they all sound and look so good! In the end, we ended up with my girlfriend’s favorites: Caesar Salad and Paella. Haha! All their food had big servings! They’re a bit pricey but were all worth the price! The paella was good for 3-4 persons and the salad for 2-3. As for our drink, of course I wasn’t gonna let he opportunity pass by! We got the Raspberry Watermelon Mojito Goblet!
Caesar Salad (P360)
A classic for salads! I thought this was going to be the same old salad but to my delight, it was actually tasty and creamy. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy! The dressing was enough for the big serving and we both enjoyed this meal very much. Perfect to start our dinner!
Paella (P750)
True to its multiple reviews, the paella was indeed worth every penny! It was huge! It was filled with a lot of ingredients! You could clearly see that they weren’t stingy with it. It smelled really good and the taste was right on point delicious! Despite our hungry stomachs, we still weren’t able to finish it all but we sure did when we got home! Masarap!
Raspberry Watermelon Mojito Goblet (P870)
Ah, down to my favorite part of that night! This beast of a drink was the center of attention! The presentation killed it because the upon serving the drink, the waiter presented it perfectly but letting us know that liquid nitrogen (?) was going to be poured for it to be extra majestic! Needless to say a lot of people had their eyes on our table as our drink was being served because gas was literally flowing out of our drink! Cool! And you’d think this was one of those things that only looked good but tasted bad. Wrong! The drink was heavenly! It was flavorful, sweet, and delicious! Not to mention strong! Just a few sips in and I was already feeling groggy! Hahaha! The size of this thing could be shared for up to 4 people but my girlfriend and I finished it whole! Haha! It was that good! A must if I might say.
THE VERDICT (4.5/5)
I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and families. I feel like there’s so much more that this restaurant has got to offer that I have yet to find out. I would especially come back for their desserts! I still dream of tasting that World Famous Sugar Factory King Kong Sundae but only time can tell when I’ll visit this place again. Hopefully soon! Their alcoholic drinks are also something to watch out for! This place is perfect for friends and families! Not a romantic restaurant but if your partner likes good food with lively ambiance, then this is the place to be! Cheers!
The all new BUTTERBEER and Margherita Pizza (vegan pizza) a perfect pair to balance my taste for the evening.
⚜️A highly recommend to try
Ps. Please do stir the beer with the straw provided, so that the sweet cream on top will mix on the beer 😉
It was an hour before closing and we were greeted, seated and treated very well. We ordered quite a lot (for someone on a budget!).

While Sugar Factory is known for its variety of colorful drinks, it also serves up a healthy variety of sweet and savory dishes for guests to enjoy. Here are some of the dishes that I got to try during my visit:
Classic French Onion (₱195)
Caramelized onions and Gruyere crouton in a rich beef broth
This bowl of soup lives up to its classic name. The broth is rich and meaty, coupled with the sweetness of the caramelized onions. There is also a hint of wine to round out the richness of the broth. This is complemented by the softened crouton and the mild Gruyere cheese on top. This balances the variety of tastes, making it an overall enjoyable dish.
Sugar Factory’s Big Breakfast Platter (₱695)
A choice of buttermilk pancakes or French toast, two eggs in any style, bacon crisps, breakfast sausage, a cup of baked beans, and toast with jam
This is definitely a hearty meal. While it may be strange to have both toast and French toast in the same meal, the latter tastes so buttery and creamy that it can be considered a wholly different item, especially with a drizzle of honey on top. The bacon is not all that crisp, but it is definitely large enough to satisfy my appetite. This contrasts with the milder sausages. I suggest pairing the meat with the toast and the grilled mushrooms for a change of textures. I also recommend getting scrambled eggs as they are very creamy when hot. Overall, this is another excellent treat for a breakfast lover like myself.
That Chocolate Fondue is unforgettable! So rich, thick, and delicious! Plus their Signature Cocktail Goblets - the way it was served - was really entertaining! Will definitely come back and taste more of their food items!

Past the cute, playful, and nostalgic candy store-like view of Sugar Factory from the outside is the revel, glam, and chic venue of Tequila Rose Sisterhood party!. It's screaming pink in here but that's the color of the party. Girl friends, this is our kind of night out!. Ready to party! . Glam up or be chic!
Sugar factory is an exquisite restaurant located in BGC. This place is not only known by its sweets and desserts but also has pastas, steaks and rice meals you definitely must try.
We ordered paella (P795) and chocolate cake (P250).
Paella is good for 4 pax and chocolate cake is super high and big slice so we ended up doing take outs.
Will definitely go back and try their sundaes.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Sugar Factory Review:
Ambiance: 5/5, as you enter the place you will see a small candy store that will bring out the kid in you and then as you enter the main resto, you will be amazed how fancy tha place looks 🤤😎
Food: 5/5, food was extraordinary, shout out to the insane milkshake, it may be pricey but its a worth a try. 🤗 Pizza do taste nice. chicken wings was great and tge truffle Pasta has a unique taste.
Service:4/5, Service from the staffs was great however not all are attentive. but overall it was ok.😊
Ill surely dine again at Sugar Factory again and try the Goblet drinks next time. 😎
From Locavore, we headed to Sugar Factory for dessert and it surely did not disappoint! As we were already full from dinner, we just ordered their Sugar Factory Party Nachos and Chocolate Blackout Sundae. Servings were large, giving justice to the price. The nachos were good! And it had the right amount of spice. If we weren't full, we would have probably paired it with some cocktails. The toppings for the sundae were to die for. It was supposedly good for 2, but the four of us could not even finish it. I love the place, how its well lit and gives a fun vibe. Hopefully will be able to go back for dinner.
One of the coolest place i've been in BGC. They serve delicious food and the food is very instagrammable. 🤗
We ordered Paella which is really tasty and is good for 2-3 persons. They got it all cramped up with seafood. So yummy!
Pizza is so thin you will start to wonder how the hell they were able to cook it without toasting it too much. It's also nice.
We were suprised with the Mojito. It was sooo good and I was able to video it while the server pour the liquid down to our big glass. And yea it is really big.
The place is pricey but worth every penny.
Every table got a piece of wood with buttons where you can select if you want to call the server or bill out.
Such a cool place! ☺️

After many options to choose from, we ended up at Sugar Factory. Over-all, the dining experience lacked the impact and I'm not sure why. Must be the chair-tables-plates color combinations... appeared too "white" especially with the black chairs.
Food-wise, we had the Vongole (Php325++), Shrimp and Garlic Pizza (Php385++) and the Signature Factory Burger (Php445++). Vongole could use a bit more taste and they should be careful in choosing clams (there were some clams mixed that seem old or coming from "dead" shells and the taste was terrible) as this can make or break an "expert" Vongole person like myself. The burger, though tasty, had a serving size less than expected especially when one compares the price to size to taste of say a Friday's burger. The Pizza, thankfully, was a redeeming factor though, frankly, it was nothing special too.
In summary, food serving vis-a-vis price, was not that great. I'm not a fan of "too black ambience" as were the chairs. Music was a bit too loud and did not increase the appetite. Service was a bit cold.
It's not too late. Improvements can be made. For now, proceed with caution.
@sugarfactorymnl
Went here for dessert. We got the decadent Chocolate Cake, which was so large that we had to take out part of it!
Got excited with pics of their liquid nitrogen blowpop cocktail and ordered one. Somewhat sweet: but worth the experience
The hunt for kid-friendly restos is never-ending with my silly duo. So from our place in QC, we traveled all the way to the fort to try Sugar Factory. The place is nice and the food was good. Their nachos was rich in toppings with the right amount of spice. The truffle fries was a hit with the kids. And their clam chowder is wow! Finally i've met one that topped my old time fave Rack's clam chowder. Pizza was OK, didn't like the crust so much. Overall, food was good, it's just that I won't brave the EDSA traffic again to get here. There are a lot of restos near our home that can easily compete with Sugar Factory. But, if you are in the area, it's definitely one option you wanna look at.
@sugar
PLACE:
So posh!
FOOD:
Calamari : It taste good but I prefer Fish and Co.'s Calamari. What I meant was, its good but you can definitely have better than this at a cheaper price. Nevertheless their Marinara sauce was soooo good!
Pacific Salmon : Wasn't able to taste this one but as per my Mom it tastes great. She really liked it. She said Salmon very juicy and it melts in her mouth.
Chicken Parmesan : I totally loved this one. Chicken's still crispy outside yet juicy and tender inside. It has the right amount of red sauce on it and topped with super gooey cheese. Pasta was perfectly cooked as well.
Raspberry Watermelon : This is soooo coooool! Super refreshing also. You may choose if you want it to be alcoholic or non alcoholic. This is a definite must try. It might be quite pricey but it's good for sharing.
SERVICE:
Very accommodating and friendly staff
PRICE:
Quite pricey but somehow it's worth it. Just consider the ambiance of the place and the quality of the food.
VERDICT:
Did I enjoy it? - Yes
Will I recommend it? - Definitely
Will I come back? - Yes
The impressive interior and space made me feel excited about this place. It is perfect for birthday parties and huge gatherings (Ask them first for details and reservations) but it's a perfect place for solo diners as well. Don't let its' name make you think that they only serve candies and desserts (huge mistake!) They serve American breakfast and a lot more! They have their sweetest staff to make your dining experience extra sweet! xoxo
There are times wherein you just wanna have dessert and chill, and this is definitely one of the best places to go for that. I do really like their interiors.... and the moment you set foot, you get to shop at their dainty candy store. You can browse their array of imported sweets, I for one couldn't help myself and got a box of gummies because it looked delicious! But in the States, they are quite known for their lollies and some are even crafted by celebrities as well.
I decided to go for their Smores Crepe, Mudslide Cookie Sandwich and Vanilla Milkshake. All of them tasted superb! Their serving was also quite large so it was perfect for sharing. Kudos to also having a good presentation as well, the desserts are very instagram-worthy! I also love their service because orders came in real quick and their staff was attentive as well.
Too bad the goblets were out of stock because I really wanted to try them. But, that gives me more reason to come back next time!
The food overall were delicious and the servings were really huge! However, the thin steak was not acceptable for its price...😔
Anyway, the place and service was amazing!
Drinks were unique and really good. You can choose if you wanted it with alcohol or not.
They have cocktails with gummy bears and sour tape also orange & chocolate, mint & chocolate and smores martinis. If you're with a big group, the goblet is a great option. They pour the cocktail mix in front of you and the liquid nitrogen will activate and create smoke.
Food was okay. We had the vongole which was bad. ✌🏼 It wasn't seasoned so we still asked for parmesan and salt. But the crepe was really good. The graham crackers were kinda stale but it was still good.
I guess this place is great with their cocktails and desserts and it's worth a try. 😬
I am into cocktails and this place offers wonderful cocktails and if you're not into alcohol you can get them alcohol-free and you can still have a great experience. I have been there as well with my 5-yo and he loves the place. Overall, a great place for a Sunday lunch with the family and topping it off with a lovely milkshake
I'm so courious to try the dining strip in shangrila fort, so for this round, it's time for sugar factory for a quick catch up and dinner.
Im not a sugary-sweet type of person so it's a shame that this post doesnt have reviews for the sweet stuff.
For starters i ordered soup, clam chowder which is really nice and fullfulling.
Chicken wings, the usual
Truffled fries was good
For mains we had pasta which i forgot to take a photo of. That was vongole, which is just normal
Bolognese pasta is very nice also.
Salmon that is very much recommended , super yummy
And ofcourse the famous goblet!
Staff were very nice and accommodating
Interior of this resto was fantastic very instagrammble the moment you enter!
Must try!

Don't let the name fool you into thinking this is all about sweets/desserts...because, boy, will you be bewildered.
Ambiance was quite curious -- you can't quite decide whether it's a resto, a bar, a club, or a diner. Heck, it's prolly all those!
The candy store within the complex was a really whimsical addition (and entrepreneurial, if I may add!). Loved munching on gummi bears and sour cola while waiting for our order.
The humongous servings of the cocktail drinks are such a delightful eye candy (uh, pardon the semi-pun). I just really don't think it's quite hygienic to be sharing one drink with multiple people even with their own straws. Ew.
Allow me to just highlight my personal favorite savory dish here: the Paella 🥘 It was REALLY exquisite, worth the 45-minute wait. They didn't scrimp on the ingredients (especially the seafood), which meant more delectable taste. I'll give it an almost perfect score. "Almost perfect"..only because I still benchmark with Ilustrado's (in Intramuros) god-damn delicious paella.
Don't let me get started with their deliriously crazy delicious Chocolate Blackout (ice-cream). Oh Lord have mercy on my glucose spike tolerance.
I love sweets and I can't resist it when someone offers me some. And when I got an invite to visit Sugar Factory, I replied with a big, fat YES. Indulging in huge milkshakes and childlike creations always sound like a good idea.
Hello, Sugar Factory.
I was greeted by a well-lit and spacious dining area that seemed to be a combination of a fancy diner, Vegas and candy land.
I love their New York style cheesecake! It's been a while since my last visit, and I'm not sure if they are still serving this because I can't find it on the uploaded menu right now. If this is still available I suggest you order this on your next visit :-)
They also serve really good milkshakes! On photo is the choco cookie jar milkshake

I'm not your usual sweets-aholic but there's something in Sugar Factory that made me interested to try it.
The interiors scream sophistication. I'm loving the black and white theme, and the velvet couches. Cindy S. and I were greeted by a smiling lady in the reception. She asked us where we wanted to be seated and of course, we chose the couch area. Our table was actually too big for us, but it made our dining experience comfortable.
When the menu was handed to us, I immediately turned the pages to the dessert section. I particularly liked to try their Sundaes, but each seems to be so huge and expensive. Cindy, on the other hand, wanted to order their Goblets. After a few discussions, we decided to get the following.
** Raspberry Watermelon Mojito Goblet (780php / 550php without alcohol)
This is one of Sugar Factory's signature drinks. It's 60oz perfect for 2-3 people. It's made with fruit juices, silver rum, and topped with watermelon candy and mint leaves. This was super refreshing, not to mention that it's aesthetically beautiful! This can be served with or without alcohol.
** Buffalo Chicken Wings (420php)
6 pieces chicken wings in original Buffalo sauce. This was sooooo good. I like my buffalo chicken this way. You may choose your preferred dip among bleu cheese, honey mustard, and garlic aioli. Of course, I went with the classic and had bleu cheese. It was legit. Buffalo chicken + bleu cheese = perfect combination.
** Kung Pao Pasta (435php)
I was craving for Charlie Chan pasta earlier this visit so when I saw that they are serving Kung Pao pasta made my heart jumped with glee. I chose chicken over shrimp for the toppings. The chicken meat was so tender and flavorful. However I didn't like their version of Kung Pao. It was too sour and bland in taste. The sauce was kind of diluted compared to Kung Pao pasta at CPK. If ever I'll eat dinner here again, I'll skip this and just try the other pasta dishes.
** Strawberry Rainbow (220php)
This is one of their gourmet ice cream sandwiches. This is made of two sugar cookies, strawberry ice cream, and rainbow sprinkles. This was a steal! Comparing its price among the other desserts, this is so sulit. Soooo good!!! The cream on top was so rich in texture and in flavor. I swear this was perfect in ending our dinner.
Overall I liked our dining experience at Sugar Factory. Nice place and interiors. It's kind of intimidating to enter the restaurant at first but once you're already inside, you'd feel relaxed and comfortable. The servers were so attentive and helpful to our needs. I like that they have buttons per table to call the attention of the servers. It reminded me of the tables at Kuppa.
P.S. They have King Kong Sundae which costs 2950php! It looks promising and delicious but so expensive! Gaaaahh ice cream party, anyone?
A must try candy shop cum diner with excellent ambiance and service.. the sliders, oriental beef, asian chicken salad and the mojito goblet are absolutely terrific..! Save some space for their fantastic desserts.. quality worth the money

We really Enjoyed the food. Good thing i celebrated my 35th with #sugarfactoryph. Thank you :)
The kids loved the paella, my eldest ejoyed the tapa, and i enjoyed the milk shake, bring out the child in me :)
More memories to come #sugarfactoryph.
I would have given a higher rating if I came for the drinks, or desserts. It was a good dinner experience though, to try something new. Their food is okay, but quite pricey. I really enjoyed the raspberry watermelon mojito. The dry ice probably hypnotized me.
In all honesty, their drinks are simply just sugar and, sometimes, if you choose to, alcohol. But since we're in the Philippines where in my opinion, dry ice is difficult to find and buy, the added bonus of actually being able to see and experience, up close, the "visual effects" of having dry ice in a drink, makes Sugar Factory what it is. It's like a candy store for semi - adults, or real adults, who are fun, trying to adult and not succeeding. Plus, everyone, I think, has that inner child that's waiting to come out every once in a while and this is the perfect place to get your equally semi - adult friends and have a quiet adult chat while eating candy and sweets.

Thank you Zomato for inviting me again for another round of FMU! This time, I thiught its gonna be something different since the name of the resto we'll be visiting is Sugar Factory, I got curious of they have to offer and good thing I was present because everything served to us worth taking a bite!
Excited like a little kid, while waiting, I checked their candy shop, started taking pictures and browsed their menu. I was so clueless as to what they look like and how they taste so I need to wait a little before savoring the sumptuous dishes they have in store for us.
Here's what they served us during the FMU:
🍴Gigantic Buttermilk Banana Walnut Pancake - I must say it's really big in serving, toppings and taste! I liked how fluffy but very siksik the pancake was. I must say the maple syrup for the pancake was very tasty (another round please!)
🍴 Red Velvet Pancake - nothing spectacular except the yummy White Chocolate Chunk :( the buttermilk banana walnut pancake stole my heart.
🍴Sugar Factory Nachos - OMG. One of the best Nachos for me! Overloading with toppings! The jalapenos and spicy ground beef is what I really liked about this dish. What made me love this Nachos is how crunchy the chips were even though it was exposed to air dipped in cheese.
🍴Signature Sugar Factory Salad - one leaf and candied walnut was the only thing I tasted in this dish. My seatmates ate it all. I must say, I like the Raspberry dressing, it's very refreshing and something new to my tastebuds.
🍴Orange Chicken and SF Fried Rice - my personal favorite from all of the food served to us that night. The chicken is big, the chicken skin remained crunchy despited being covered by orange sauce.
🍴Make a Wish - this one is for the books! I love the consistency of the milkshake, thick but really creamy! you can feel the vanilla cake pieces in your mouth and will just melt away! you'll want to ask for another round as your wish!
🍴Giggles Snicker Milkshake - wait? there was a drink like this? I wasn't able to taste it, the other table savoured it all!
🍴Energy Bear Goblet - this drink will give that kick, kick to sip again! I loved the texture the gummy bear added to the drink, it was SUPER SUPER SWEET that if you finish it you'll up with a sore throat. I personally loved this.
🍴Sunshine Tea Goblet - too bad I wasn't able to taste this one, I focused with the Energy Bear Goblet. BUT.. according to my seatmate, she didn't like the taste of this one.
🍴 Watermelon Rancher Martini - too strong to the taste if you're not an alcholic drinker. Just took a sip, watermelon flavor isn't recognizable to the taste.
🍴German Chocolate Cake Martini - to be honest, I did not like the taste of it. I cannot distingish the flavor, it's very confusing.
Over all, I had a great experience with Sugar Factory, the food was something you'll like to try if its your 1st time, worthy of a 2nd visit. The ambiance was awesome, the place is well ventilated, clean and has a warm vibe. As for the price, I must say its a bit overpriced, I can get the same amiut of serving from other resto with just paying half or less than what they offered. Still, Sugar Factory is worth giving a try!
Celebrated my birthday here. We didn't expect much from the mains since their specialties were really drinks and desserts. But we loved everything we ordered. It was a Friday during Lent so what we got were the calamari fritti, the paella, the rigatoni marinara, and the vongole pasta. The calamari was really yummy and did not at all have that rubbery taste/feel. The paella was also very good. For dessert we got red velvet pancakes and a berry bliss goblet (no alcohol). The pancakes were soooo fluffy and the cream cheese frosting's sweetness was just right. It was still served with maple syrup so you have the option on how you want your pancakes. The berry bliss drink was good and it had actual gummy candies in it. Watching the drink being poured with dry ice was amazing. Overall a good experience and I'd certainly go back to try their other stuff even if they're on the pricey side. They look like they're worth it. Excellent service too. :)
P.S. I did not find anything special in their candy store except for overpriced lollipops. 😂
I've only been there for dessert so my review is dessert based only, 1 time &a I was impressed!! Tried Ice cream sundae and goblet. Didn't know what to expect but HOT DAMN it was so good. Definitely a place to go to with a group to share their dessert and drink.
Sugar Factory is Sugar Heaven. It greets you with a wide range of sweets and colorful ambiance. It is the perfect place for the young and young at heart to enjoy breakfast food like pancakes and waffles all day, gourmet-steak meals, and refreshing beverages. Their cocktails and mocktails are a must try because of their unique presentation... not sure if there is any where else you could drinks with dry ice... but it sure does add some panache into the drink...
Sugar Factory, a place where you can satisfy your sweet tooth.
The ambiance of the place is more of modern high end restaurant. It is really Elite and posh. Basically the restaurant is targeting Classes A and B.
The price range of the food is a bit expensive than the other cafes in BGC.
When it comes to their food, you will get what you paid for. Tasty and sumptuous. I recommend their salads and their drinks. It really satisfied my cravings!
As millennial says now a days, DIABETUUUUUUUUUUUUS!
Ever had your one of your wildest kiddie imaginations come true? Come by the Sugar Factory located in Shangri-la at The Fort in BGC and make one of it come to life! I was invited by Zomato to check out this new place for kids and kids at heart alike! Sugar Factory is known back in the United States and is known because of their Couture Pops, endorsed by some Hollywood A-Listers(Kylie Jenner, Pitbull, Lil Kim, Vanessa Hudgens, just to name a few).
Aside from a wide array of sweets and candies of different shapes and sizes, here are some of the dishes we've tried and you can have yourself when you come by:
Gigantic Buttermilk Banana Walnut Pancake
Red Velvet Pancakes
Bruschetta
Sugar Factory Party Nachos
Signature Sugar Factory Chef's Salad
Grilled Cheese and Spaghetti Sandwich
The Signature Sugar Factory Burger
Orange Chicken and SF Fried Rice
The drinks are bold, flavorful and beyond your imagination!
-Milkshakes(good for 2 to 3)
Make A Wish
Giggle Snickers Milkshake
-Goblets(good for 3 to 5, has alcoholic and non alcoholic option)
Sunshine Tea
Energy Bear
-Martinis(good for 1)
Watermelon Rancher
German Chocolate Cake
For me, the drinks were a standout because it was very much wild and out of the box! My personal fave would be the Energy Bear(with alcohol), just make sure you have someone to share it with. It's intense sugar rush! I also loved the Make a Wish and the Giggle Snickers Milkshake.
The food I fell in love most was the Grilled Cheese and Spaghetti Sandwich. Very sinful because of the carbo load but nonetheless very addicting! The toasty grilled cheese complimented the tangy spaghetti in marinara sauce. I was also hooked with the Orage Chicken, just be sure to consume it while it's hot.
Come on down to the Sugar Factory and get ready to have food beyond your imagination.
Finally! Sugar Factory Manila is now open! The first branch in Asia. Originally from Las Vegas. They have branches in New York and Dubai.
At first glanced I was greeted by their staff holding a Britney Spears Lollipop. The lollipop is "sosyal" there's a gem in the holder. I asked how much is the lollie, she replied Php1,099.00 "Ang mahal" hahaha! 😂 "it's refillable" the counter replied back.
As I enter their restaurant, I know the place will be an expensive one. With its classy black and white interior, shimmering chandeliers and reflecting mirrors in the wall.
The waiter assisted me in my table and took my order. I got Mudslide Ice Cream Sandwich for Php220.00 and S'mores drink without alcohol for Php240.00.
Mudslide - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 "It's very sweet and addicting, you can share it with your friend"
S'mores - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 "Maybe it would be better if I put some alcohol to my drink."
Upon exiting I explore Sugar Factory's candy store... I saw M&Ms, Gummy Bears, Lollipops and different varieties of chocolates and candies.
Sugar Factory is located at the G/F of Shangri-la The Fort, BGC, Taguig.

If there is one restaurant that screams glamour and class and expensive along the foodie stretch of Shangri La at the Fort, it's definitely Sugar Factory. A franchise from the U.S, this American Brasserie is known for it's celebrity-endorsed Couture Pops that turned ordinary sweets into the trendiest and latest designer accessory of Hollywood stars!
We ordered Frutti De Mare, Popcorn Shrimp and Chicken Parmesan and for the dessert we ordered Cbocolate blackout. The ambiance was perfect and the staffs were all accomodating plus the service was good.. i can say the foods were ok it's just that we didnt realized we ordered 2 tomato based sauce.. The chocolate blackout was really good!! ill come back for it..or other desserts to try.. 😊
I was recently invited to Sugar Factory at Shangri-la Fort along with other Zomato foodies. We had a fanciful feast with breakfast for dinner, colorful nachos, odd sandwiches and candy-covered milkshakes. I think that the cocktails and milkshakes are Sugar Factory’s strong suit. They have goblets filled with dry ice and soda juice (PHP 700 to PHP 1600), candied cocktail like the Watermelon Rancher (PHP 450), chocolate martinis like the espress-flavored Caramel Macchiato (PHP 430), and insane milkshakes like the Giggles and Snickers Milkshake (PHP 795) and birthday-candle-topped Make A Wish (PHP 325). The vanilla milkshake was pretty good! HOWEVER...[Read More]
The ambiance of the place is very classy and happy at the same time.
Food is good and they really have a lot of exciting dishes to try just like the Spaghetti Burger with Friens and Red Velvet Panckes with White Chocolate on top . For drinks, they also serve Goblets ( Alcholic or Non Alcoholic ) which is like a big fish bowl with dry ice below plus some gummie bears.
Must visit for families with kids !!!
I was invited to try their food here.
It looks like just a candy store from the outside but when you go inside, you will see that it was a restaurant. They also have a mini bar and a 2nd floor.
What we tried:
Red velvet pancake - 3pcs of pancakes with white chocolate, orange zest, whipped cream and with syrup. This one is good but nothing special.
Gigantic buttermilk banana walnut pancake - topped with sliced bananas, toasted walnuts and whipped cream with syrup. I like this one than the red velvet. It was soft and not too sweet.
Bruschetta - this one is also good. You can taste the tomato and basil on the baguette.
Nachos - It was crispy and it tasted good.
Grilled cheese and spaghetti sandwich - this one was new to me cause it was my first time to have eaten a grilled cheese with spaghetti inside. If you love those two then definitely you will like this one. It was also good.
Burger - the beef burger was juicy and flavorful.
Orange chicken and SF fried rice - it was also good.
Make a wish - I super like this milkshake. It was like a cake turned into a milkshake.
Giggles snickers milkshake - this one was too sweet for my taste. It really tasted like snickers.
The place is nice and it's a good place to dine with friends and family.
Sugar Factory opened to much fanfare last year, touted as the dessert place to be in Las Vegas! It also helped that they have an army of celebrity endorsers who swears by their sweet confectionary treats - Kylie Jenner ever has a $25 candy for sale. But there is more to Sugar Factory than sweets and desserts. Last Monday evening, I was invited to try out their food menu along with there varied drinks.
The place exudes opulence with the high ceilings and sparkling chandeliers, as the night sets in, the music turns from family friendly to EDM. They have a mezzanine area perfect for those intimate private dinners with close family and friends. Our group had the following: Bruchetta, a light started of tomato, basil, extra virgin olive oil and parmesan cheese on a baguette. Next served was the Signature Sugar Factory Chef Salad. It has mixed salad greens, poached egg, jamon serrano, candied walnuts, cucumber, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar dressing. This can serve at least 3 to 4. The salad was light and the components complimented well with the dressing. Nothing outstanding but a good way to start a meal. Next: Beef Nachos, i like how the beef had a kick of spice. The nachos was crunchy enough to pick up the salsa, cheese and jalapenos. Another plate good enough to share.
Next was a couple of sandwiches... i was surprised with the next one since it combined two of my favorite comfort food. Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Spaghetti. Tada! Grilled Cheese Sandwich with a hefty serving of spaghetti in the middle. The spaghetti was not drenched in sauce, but was flavorful despite the dryness. It reminded me of the spaghetti served at the clubhouse in BF Resort back in the mid-90s. So there is a bit of nostalgia there for me. Served with a side of fries. The Sugar Factory burger was served on a Potato Bun, also with a side of fries. The Orange Chicken with SF Fried Rice had hints of ginger. It was fork tender but nothing too extraordinary, even the rice although aplenty and packed with lots of ingredients did not register any distinct flavor.
The Gigantic Buttermilk Banana Walnut Pancake was thick and topped with bananas and walnuts. It was soft and delicious enough even without the syrup. The Red Velvet Pancakes was topped with white chocolate which gave its smooth chocolate finish. Even without the syrup, the sweetness is enough. Just dap on some of the whipped cream cheese topping. Steep prices can be a little discourging but if i would recommend, try the pancakes to share with kids.
Out of all the drinks served I like the Make A Wish - it is a vanilla milkshake topped with sprinkles and a couple of pound cake cubes. With a festive birthday candle, it will make anyone happy. Overall, the drinks can be a hit or miss since prices can go as high as 1000pesos and that is without alcohol in it! It is more of a novelty, fun place to spend a night with friends.

"The closest thing to living in a fairy tale"
With a candy store to greet you upon entering their place, The Sugar Factory is a dream come true to me for someone who loves candies and chocolates. It offers a very fun menu suitable not just for kids but also for adults that are child in heart. From giant-sized pancakes to spaghetti-filled sandwiches to salads and bruschetta, you'll surely have a lot to choose from that's ideal for any occassions--children's birthdays or date nights.
My favorites were their bruschetta (Php 280) and orange chicken and SF fried rice (Php 565). The bruschetta was simple and well-prepared. The topping wasn't too dry or moist to make the toasted bread soggy. The orange chicken's flavor and seasoning was on point and balanced to not overwhelm the palate (because of the sweet flavor of oranges). The only downside of this dish for me was that it tends to get a bit rubbery and dry when cold and not eaten immediately.
If you happen to bring your kids with you, you can also opt to order their grilled cheese and spaghetti sandwich which kids will love for the creative way of presenting the dish. It's kid's spaghetti stuffed inside the traditional grilled cheese, a very exciting and new way to enjoy food. For their salad, it was underdressed for me; I could barely taste the raspberry balsamic vinaigrette. It could have been better to add more of it for fuller flavor and moisture.
Their drinks were unbelievably large and fancy (well, almost all were prepared with gummy bears, lollipops, and chocolates!! 🤗). I love how they made it more flexible with the alcoholic or non-alcoholic options! 😋
Their staff were also very accommodating and friendly, which is for me a big factor to consider when evaluating restaurant service. The exteriors complements well with their overall theme and the ambience helps a lot for you to enjoy more your dining experience.
The Sugar Factory is indeed what sweet dreams are made of 💞
Located in the bustling city of BGC, is Sugar Factory. Known for endorsements from Drake, the Jenner Sisters, Kim K, and the list goes on; this restaurant will awaken the sweet tooth in you because of their wide range of food and beverages.
Will Sugar Factory hit your sweet spot? Here’s my review:
Reservation:
I’m not really sure how reservation works here since I wasn’t the one who booked our seats here. Upon further observation, reservation is pretty normal. You give them a call and if seats are available then you will surely get them.
Commendation for the Restaurant: Keep it up with the reservation service.
Suggestion for the Foodie: This place is packed during the evenings whether it’s a weekday or a weekend. I highly suggest reserving a table even on the weekday evenings.
Ambiance: What I first noticed was the candy store. Yes it has a candy store. Its walls were white and the candy rainbow colors were begging me to buy them. I was literally like a kid in a candy store.
With a few steps we enter the restaurant itself. I saw that they had leather seats and leather furnishes on their walls. Like what you see in the some clubs these days. The place is also lit, not the lit term but lit literally since the lighting was great with the use of chandeliers and mirrors. The establishment itself was photogenic.
Sugar Factory will definitely make you feel like a celebrity.
Commendation for the Restaurant: Great work on the ambiance!
Suggestion for the foodie: Bring your camera and go wild on taking photos.
Service:
Service wise is pretty decent. Staff were pretty kind and they knew what to answer when they were ask from food and drinks to asking where the comfort room is. They’re also pretty approachable.
Food:
We started our course with two set of pancakes: The Gigantic Butter Milk Banana Walnut Pancake (GBMBWP) and the Red Velvet Pancake. I personally like The GBMBWP because the name wasn’t just a mouthful to pronounce but it was also a mouthful to eat. The combination of the soft pancake and sweet banana with walnut was a perfect pair. The Red Velvet Pancake will definitely be in any red velvet fans list. It’s for the sweet tooth since it has shavings of white chocolate. Both pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor. Add syrup to make it even better!
After our “Breakfast” we had salad: Bruschetta and Signature Sugar Factory Chef’s Salad. Both salads were great. It had fresh greens and had generous severing.
We also ordered the Sugar Factory Party Nachos. All I can say with this dish it is just a rainbow nachos with awesome flavor and spice. Some of the chips weren’t golden brown. Some were purple and the others were green. Again, they were generous with not just the nacho chips but also the dressing/dip that it goes with.
We head on to the Main Courses
The Grilled Cheese and Spaghetti Sandwich are perfect if you can’t decide what to eat. Think of this dish like a Sloppy Joe with Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese all pressed inside garlic bread. This also comes with a great amount of fries.
The Signature Sugar Factory Burger with its juicy Angus beef patty combined with fresh veggies with a choice of cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, or Blue Cheese) all in between a potato bun is one dish you don’t want to miss out in their menu. This burger will probably be your new benchmark once you try it.
Lastly, we ordered the Orange Chicken and Sugar Factory Rice. All I can say is that for an American restaurant, they make good Orange Chicken. It was really zesty and tangy. The mix of the sweet acidic orange was perfect with the crispy chicken. The Sugar Factory rice also great with the orange chicken. This was actually my favorite from all the main courses.
Beverages:
We ordered a bunch of drinks for this.
The Make a Wish is a sweet drink, well, all their drinks are sweet, is a vanilla ice cream blended with vanilla cake pieces, sprinkles, cupcake syrup, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with more rainbow sprinkles. It also comes with a candle. Now this is a different kind of cake/shake for the celebrant.
Giggle Snicker Milkshake is the Diabetus meme in real life. This massive shake is a blended cookies and cream ice cream with peanut butter. This is topped with a hefty stack of whipped cream, a snicker bar, waffle halves, and a blow pop. But it doesn’t end there the glass is half covered with chocolate and sprinkles with snicker bites and rainbow sprinkles.
Get energized with their Energy Bear Goblet. This drink is a mix of energizing blend of watermelon vodka and other top-shelf sprits from their bar. This is also blended with a can of Redbull. Get ready to have wings and drink this with caution.
Sunshine Tea Goblet is maybe the counter part of the Energy Bear Goblet. This relaxing tea based cocktail. This drink is pretty sweet too.
The Watermelon Ranch Martini is probably the most tropical martini you can get. It also comes with a little gummy watermelon. Sweet drink with a kick.
The German Chocolate Cake martini is an alcoholic cake on a glass. This drink is perfect for the cake lovers since the chocolate taste of the drink would make you ask if there’s even alcohol.
Final Say:
With that being said Sugar Factory does hit the sweet spot. Think of it as the candy store for grownups!

Since my boyfriend and I needed to go to work on Valentine's Day, we decided to just have lunch here in Sugar Factory before he go to work. The place was catchy on the outside because of the colorful candies displayed. Who would have thought that this was a dining place too and not just a candy store?
Popcorn Shrimp- The subtle crunchiness made me want to munch it all but I realized that this was meant to be shared because it's Valentine's day, and sharing is loving. I like how the shrimp didn't get overcooked inside the breading.
Rigatoni Marinara- I always order pasta every time we dine out because "pasta is life" for me. The red sauce was mixed to the right consistency; not too sweet and not too salty. Very Italian, so to speak. I can still feel the sundried tomato bits in every bite.
Pacific Salmon- We love how it was cooked. The texture of the fish meat was really soft inside but a bit crunchy on the outside. Adding asparagus to it was a perfect idea. Though the sauce was bland.
Ocean Blue Goblet (w/o Alcohol)- We could've ordered it with alcohol but we still need to go to work so we opted for non-alcohol. This drink was poured inside a big goblet perfect for two people with gummy blue sharks swimming inside. It tasted like bubble gum. Soooo refreshing. Add to that the dry ice which made it looked like a smoking potion in a cauldron from the Harry Potter movies that I've watched. Nothing could be sweeter than sharing this with your special someone.
We would definitely comeback for the burgers and milkshake next time!
Place is super fancy and you all get giddy when you come in and order your sugar fix. I came in very late at night, hence, I might need to come visit again to try another from their menu. I have tried their "The Classic" dessert. I am a fan of soft-chewy cookies. But their version is the crunchy one - so it did not hit the spot for me.

A few months ago, we were walking to Locavore and passed by this place when we reached Shangri-la at the Fort. We made plans to visit and after a long time, we finally went there last Saturday.
I really like the inside. It kinda looks like candy and remarkably enticing.
For the entrees, we ordered the blue cheese bacon burger, pasta marinara, and chicken parmesan. For a dessert place, we were expecting their food to be just ok but to be fair, the food we ordered was actually quite good. The burger was tender with just the right amount of kick from the blue cheese and the pasta marinara was quite light even if there was a lot on the plate. The best entree for me though was the chicken parmesan. The chicken was very tender unlike the chicken parmesan of other restaurants and it goes really well with the pasta and the sauce and melter cheese. Highly recommended and will order this next time.
For dessert, we ordered their dulce de leche milkshake, chocolate overload sundae, and their ice cream sandwich. For the price, I'd say the desserts we ordered were very worth it. The giant dulce de leche milkshake is a must try. It's quite delicious. Not too sweet and easy to drink despite the size. Although admittedly we split this so we can try the other desserts haha. The chocolate overload sundae is just diabetes on a plate. Three big scoops of ice cream, whipped cream, brownies, and chocolate bits. Eating the ice cream sandwich was an exercise by itself. A giant scoop of ice cream sandwiched by two slabs of brownies. Also very good.
Overall I'd say the experience was a 4 to 4.5. The price isn't so bad too. We paid around 3600 but we ordered a lot of food and the milkshake is around 825 pesos. On average, I'd say 2000 pesos would be a good price. Will definitely go back to this place.
It was an hour before the closing time when we went to chill. You could park thru nearby parking space or thru the hotel itself. The hotel basement parking is as hot as the 12nn shinning sun by the way. We really don't understand why. Anyway, Sugar Factory will really get your attention from the outside. It is a classy dessert place with second level and chandeliers. Upon entering, cute colorful different candies will brighten up your eyes. Candies were for sale.
We choose to be seated on the leather half rounded couch. The place is so elegant. Group of young teens were dinning in as well. We wanted to have dessert but we then choose Chicken Fingers, Calamari Fritti and non alcoholic Berry Bliss for a quick chill instead. It was served fast. Servings for Chicken Fingers and Calamari Fritti were too small. I liked the dip for Chicken Fingers though. Berry Bliss tasted more like an ordinary sweet and sour cocktail. It came in a huge goblet so the 5 of us shared.
They have fast Wi-Fi connection. The experience was kinda "bitin". We wanted to order some more but we were still full from the party we went on. I'll definitely go back and try their signature desserts!
The best paella i eaten and great experience of dining, satisfying food from appetizers to deserts and beverages that you can choose great place to celebrate , and the cute candy store .
I had the Blue Cheese Burger. For Php550 I get a good meat patty that's thick and juicy. Right amount of blue cheese. That's it.
I pay some damn cash for a popular brand from Las Vegas. A burger with fake fries on the side. Yup, fake fries. Just like your local McDonald's. Fake fries.
I also got the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Bad sandwich, bad tomato soup. You can get a better version for a much cheaper amount at Press.
The lesson here is come for their sugary food. Have your main meals somewhere else.
Impeccable service and ambiance. We came here to get dessert, and they recommended their Ice Cream - we took the Banana Split and the Chocolate Blackout. Both were delicious! Each bowl is good for two people. The toppings was enough for you to enjoy.
This restaurant is a new addition to the possible places within Shang at the Fort where you can enjoy a nice meal, dessert, or drink with your friends and family. They have quirky options for you to choose from, ranging from ice cream sandwiches to crepes to full on meals. Their trademark is their goblets, which comfortably serves 2-3 people and is served with dry ice and prepared right in front of you so you get to watch the concoction unfold!
My friend and I shared a banana split crepe and a mai tai goblet. The crepe was really good, especially with the brownie bits and definitely calls for some sweet indulgence and a hearty cheat meal. The goblet was also fantastic in our opinion because of its tropical vibes and the prep, though it was a little bit expensive for our taste.
Overall, the place is nice, bit too expensive for what it's worth, but they offer quite the promise of an experience for sure.
..sugar?! YES PLEASE!! and because of the fact that i ❤️ kylie jenner was the reason i begged papa to eat here (his eyes were set for Korean galbi) but when he had a bite of the Paella and a sip of their signature goblet "Lollipop Passion", papa had nothing but praises for the food and the ambiance - i felt like i was inside kylie jenner' black and white living room. the prices are extremes but you can never go wrong with the taste, portions, ambiance and service. love their halloween decor too, especially in the rest rooms, haha! kids of ALL ages will love it here.

Ordered Rocky road fondue with dark chocolate and Classic mojito. Masarap pareho. Fondue comes with Strawberry, Banana, tasty brownie, yummy moist red velvet, toasted marshmallow, caramelized almonds, gummy bears. Love the dark chocolate dip. Classic Mojito is perfect for the palate of my 40 year old hubby. Super happy place to celebrate ur birthday.
Sugar Factory... From Las Vegas... A place for both kids and adults. A must try restaurant! As you enter the resto, you will see candies and you can actually buy them. As you continue going into the resto, you will see a really modern look. The resto actually doesn't look like a resto but a kids place haha!!! I went here on a Saturday afternoon with my parents to give it a try.
I ordered the Nutella and Banana Milkshake and Angus Prime Ribeye. My dad ordered the American Honey and Steak Bernaise while my mom ordered The Farmer Burger.
I gave this restaurant a 5.0 because of the food and the hospitality of the waiters. The waiters are really good and they have the knowledge of their dishes.
