Food - 5 stars. The food is really good especially the Paella with Taba ng Talangka. I wanted to get 2 pans (?) of the paella but my friends wanted plain rice to go with the Sinigang na Hipon. They eventually concluded that the paella still paired well with their sinigang. The Campeador was delicious as well (it’s fried liempo with bagoong on a bed of pinoy-style grilled eggplant). Ambience - 3 stars. forgot to take a photo of the restaurant lol. It gets noisy fortunately we were seated somewhere a little secluded. The furnishings look a little worn, don’t know if that was deliberate or by design.Service - 5 stars. Very attentive staff who kept pushing their specials. At least they know what stuff is worth ordering.
Filipino and Spanish culture have always been so close to each other. So it is not a surprise that the same goes for their cuisine as well. And El Corazon gives that to us, the mix of Filipino and Spanish cuisine. You might find the names a bit intriguing since most of them are Spanish but it has the taste of Filipino dishes that we all love. And of course, some of our local favorites as well.
The food is surprisingly good for a mall restaurant. Good quality, ample servings, and great value for money. Great fusion of Spanish and Filipino cuisine.
Whenever we’re around BGC we make sure to dine in this place! Great food and service!
Must try:
✅ daing na bangus
✅laing with bagnet
✅ grilled pusit
Great value for money! Wide selections to choose from and cozy ambience!!!

This restaurant is a mix of Spanish and Filipino cuisine. The service was pretty good and food was tasty. My favourite was the scallops. The paella was alright. The fish balls and the veggies with sauce over the top (I forgot the names of the dishes) are standard Filipino dishes they were yum.
Nice ambience. Space inside was not that big but just enough. There were also available tables to dine outside. Appetising foods with reasonable prices.
Spanish food?! Why not try El Corazon! This is a good place and value for your money. You’ll never go wrong with their simple dish with a twist.
3 🌟 for food taste. Maybe because it is a Filipino-Spanish restaurant in which foods we're common for me already, I don't find anything special but it taste alright it's just that I am looking for something that will make it different.
5 🌟 for ambiance. Awesome interiors and feeling.
5 🌟 for service. Fast and all we're seems to be happy doing their job
5 🌟 for experience
4 🌟 for cleanliness. The dinning area is really clean
I really like the ambience of El Corazon. It was like going back during the Spanish regime in the Philippines. I wanted to try their paela because it’s one of their popular dishes. Most people try Paella Valenciana, a dish with prawns, mussels, fish fillet and squid. It was enough for 2 people. The rice was also okay, but I am not sure what kind of rice they used because it has different size than usual. This paella was really tasty! I also enjoy different kinds of seafoods in the platter. The price was also reasonable for this dish.
We had our dinner here and the place is good. It is a Spanish inspired restaurant though I feel that some of the food are famous Ilonggo dishes😄. The food were great and we were really satisfied that we ordered another platter for take out. They are quiet pricey but worth it. The staff were also welcoming and polite. Highly recommended.
