This is a Filipino restaurant in Tagaytay which serves Filipino buffet. You can find local dishes and uncommon ones like my favorite balut ala pobre (they regularly change their menu though, so this may not be available at all times). There's also a salad bar and dessert section. There's an in-house cafe inside D Banquet where you can get coffee and other drinks afterwards.
Good value for money when you're in Tagaytay.
It is sunday and day off should never be boring. Me and my family love this place since we discovered this last January. They offer Sunday Buffet, which I believe this month of March they will have a Saturday buffet too. What I love the most here is their Bulalo Soup, Adobo sa Dilaw, and the Balut ala Pobre. Before I forget, the Chicharong Bulaklak too is a MUST TRY. They also have coffee shop inside, you might want to try their specialty coffee too. 100% Arabica served by their friendly Barista. Over 28-30 food choices just for 499 per head (buffet).
Ordered arroz caldo, chicken mami and lomi. Serving size can be good for 2persons (3 if with kids). Fast service. Polite crews. Food taste good (not salty). They also have buffet at 599.
Quiet and cozy cafe? D’Banquet is your go to place in Tagaytay then. Famous for their pastries.
Food: Different Fruit Tarts are available in this area. Local tourists of course looks for their Buco pie and Buco tart. Other flavors also incluse mango, mango cheese, blueberry and a lot more! You should also try the different coffees and drinks they offer. I must say that their Cafe Mocha, taste so much better than your famous coffee flavors. Other Filipino pasalubong treats could also be found here.
Ambience: Place is very quiet since we are the only people here during my visit.
Service: Everytime that I go here, crews are very polite and serves you right away.
Over all: 5 stars

Cheap buffet with lots of choices
Product: It seems that most restaurants in Tagaytay switch from ala carte to buffet during Sundays, and that includes D'Banquet. It took us a while to decide but eventually, we all agreed to go here. They have stations for pasta, viands, salads, appetizers, and desserts. There's so much to choose from and if you're going here with kids, they'll find so many familiar dishes that they won't find it hard to choose which dishes they will eat.
I loved all the pasta, they gave me the taste that I expected and I was satisfied with it. They also had Bulalo soup and Bulalo Mechado which you should taste especially if you can't leave Tagaytay without tasting some. Basically, they offer you your favorite homemade dishes and you can have as much as you can. The taste doesn't stand out but they weren't bad so you can't complain.
Some of the desserts were good like the ube pastry and the kiwi cake. Some were okay, not too sweet and just enough to be a "pampatanggal umay" and get some sugar on your taste buds.
Venue: D'Banquet is like a party venue type and a cozy cafeteria. There's a small room with aircon but most people dine outside, Tagaytay's breeze isn't hot so eating outside isn't such a bad choice. There's also a musician going from table to table who sings 2 songs/per table. I don't know if he's an employee there but everyone else seems to be happy having him around for some entertainment. The servers are okay, sometimes they were easy to call, sometimes you have to shout a few times to get their attention but they do act quickly when you make a request.
Tagaytay is the place to go to, if you want to escape the busy scene of the City once in while. A few drive from manila will lead you to this beautiful city with a colder climate. We went here to have some lunch with some Zomato Foodies for a #zomatoXnutriasia food crawl. Our first stop was the D’Banquet Restaurant located just along the road leading of Aguinaldo Highway leading to Tagaytay City. The restaurant has a nice location and a big parking space so don’t even worry in bringing your car. The facade of D’Banquet is like a garden type. They also have a air-conditioned dining area if you find it too humid outside.
We were invited to #zomatoXNutriasia Food Crawl the second time around and we sampled some of Tagaytay’s Restaurant. Our first stop was the D’ Banquet Restaurant if you’re familiar with the Pink Sisters in Tagaytay, the said restaurant is actually located in front of the street that will lead you to the church.
i gave them rate of 5 star for their buffet every Sunday.. lots of foods to eat even dessert specially made by Amiras.... wow !!! more than 25 varieties of foods to choose wow.....
Here's my top five picks off their menu:
- Binagoongan Crispy Pata (PhP 680.00)
- Crispy Nilasing na Hipon (PhP 330.00)
- Bulalong Batangas (PhP 565.00)
- Turon de Saba (PhP 150.00)
- Beef Stir Fry (PhP 520.00)
Ambience – 4/5
Service – 4/5
Location – 5/5
Food – 5/5
Our first stop in Tagaytay for Nutri Asia Food Crawl was D' Banquet Restaurant.
We were served Pinoy dishes using Nutri Asia Products like Datu Puti, Jufran, Mang Tomas etc. but the main highlight of the event was to pair the mouthwatering dishes of D' Banquet with Locally bottled juice.
By the way, you can taste the best of D' Banquet during the buffet weekend for Php350.00. There's Bulalo, Binagoongang Baboy and Kaldereta.

This restaurant in Tagaytay has been around for sometime now. When craving for Bulalo, I strongly suggest that you have bowl of goodness in this restaurant. This is one good Bulalo I've tasted in town. They offer lunch buffet for only 395php. They have ala carte as well. If you are in big group or family, I highly recommend this place as it has all that you need whether you wanted a cup of coffee or wanted to satisfy your sweet cravings as they do have a Coffee Shop and Bakeshop too. They also have a store if you wanted to buy pasalubong.
Here's what I enjoyed the most during our visit:
- Bulalong Batangas: Very tasty! Just the soup itself was oozing with Bulalo flavor. Tender beef and crunchy vegetables in a bowl.
- Binagoongan Crispy Pata: Two viand in one, double the fun.
- Kalderetang Bibe: Just the smell wanted you to immediately have a scoop of rice. Yum!
- Beef Stir Fry: Beef was very tender, Sauce tasted really good too.
- Turon de Saba: Perfect when dip in Mango Sauce.
Please grab some Mango Cheesecake, Ube Tarts before going home. It so addicting.
D' Banquet Bakeshop & Restaurant is our first stop for ZomatoxNutriAsia Tagaytay Foodcrawl.
The place is spacious with an in-house café, a buffet spread with an indoor and outdoor setting plus a bakeshop — Amira's Buco Haus. I also love their garden-inspired interiors which gives off a very laidback and relaxing ambiance.
The restaurant serves feel-good Filipino food! Here are some of the food we sampled —
🍽 Native Fried Chicken (Whole - P680)
Fried nicely with its meat still soft and not dry. A good no-fuss savory chicken dish.
🍽 Bulalong Batangas (P565)
Let's admit it. A trip to Tagaytay is never complete without having Bulalo. And I'm super glad we had this here in D' Banquet! The Bulalo soup was super tasty and hits you right in the soul. 😂
🍽 Binagoongang Boneless Crispy Pata (P680)
Yasss who doesn't love a good crispy pata? No one! D' Banquet's version is quite unique due to the bagoong. It brought out all kinds of flavors to the dish. Sinfully good.
🍽 Kalderetang Bibe (P430)
Soft and tender duck meat and well-seasoned. Perfectly paired with rice! 🍚
🍽 Crispy Nilasing na Hipon (P330)
Loved this one! It's a good appetizer dish, though you'd probably won't be able to stop munching on this once you had a bite. It's very crispy and tasty — really addicting.
🍽 Beef Stir Fry (P520)
Tender meat and really savory, I liked the fact that the beef retained its juicy and soft texture which isn't present in some stir fry dishes. A classic. 👍🏻
🍽 Turon de Saba (P150)
Beautifully plated flattened turon with mango mousse. It's your good ole' turon merienda or panghimagas, just fancier. 👌🏻
Aside for these mouthwatering Filipino favorites, we also got to try some of their tarts from Amira Buco Haus bakeshop. They have a whole range of different tarts from mango cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake and your classic buko tart! Perfect as pasalubong. 💯
The food was good especially if you're craving for classic Filipino fare, a must visit in Tagaytay. They have ample parking spaces and amazing service. I'll make sure to drop by the next time I'm in Tagaytay to try their coffee in their in-house café. Ciao! 👋🏻

When in Tagaytay, D’Banquet Bakeshop and Restaurant is where you go when you’re feeding several mouths as each dish can feed a group of 4-5. When you get to the roundabout, just make an immediate right turn and after 100 meters, a big D'Banquet signage will greet you.
Order 2-3 dishes and a platter of rice and you’re sure to leave this gardenesque restaurant satiated without breaking the bank. I say gardenesque because the entire façade of the restaurant as well as the area surrounding the spacious parking area is teeming with deep, verdant shades of green. It paints a pretty bucolic picture. You can opt to dine al fresco or request to be seated at the air-conditioned dining area. They also have a café if you’re having dessert and coffee right after your meal and a Pasalubong Center that sells Amira’s Buco Tart Haus’ delicious tarts. I only wish they would move the pasalubong center to a different area of the restaurant or to make it look more picturesque as it had that sari-sari store impression that's a little distracting if you’re facing the back part of the air-conditioned dining area or it's probably just me.
The servers were very warm and friendly and service was fast.
We were a group of 10 and we had the following:
*Crispy Nilasing na Hipon at Php330.00. Each shrimp had just the right amount of crisp. I liked how the breading did not have that much flavor as it allowed the shrimp-y flavor to shine through and the vinegar dip was just the perfect sour accompaniment to the slightly salted seafood-y flavor of this dish.
*Kalderetang Bibe at Php430.00. It had that spicy Kaldereta flavor that’s not too overpowering that you forget that it’s duck meat you’re eating.
*Beef Stir Fry at Php520. This was a classic beef stir fry. Fresh vegetables were used to provide contrast to the tender meat.
*Native Fried Chicken Whole at Php680. I liked how they did not use any kind of coating on the skin except for salt and pepper and let the natural tasty flavor of the native chicken to speak for the dish.
*Bulalong Batangas at Php565.00. It came in a big white bowl and I loved that there were plenty of tender beef shanks and bone marrow swimming in the rich broth.
*Binagoongang Boneless Crispy Pata at Php680.00. The skin was really crispy and it had just the right amount of shrimp paste to add another layer of flavor. The only gripe I have about this dish is that the meat is not as tender as the homegrown crispy pata of the famed Bob Marlin in Naga City that I’ve grown accustomed to.
*Turon de Saba at Php150. Flattened just a bit to lend this classic turon a different look.

They have a cafe within the restaurant and also a pasalubong section where you can find a variety of delicacies
It was my fourth time dining here with family. It is always on top of our mind when we go to Tagaytay.
Fast service. Clean place. Courteous servers. Reasonable price. Bulalo is on top of the line. Next time, I will try native chicken tinola for sure :)
Price of food is very reasonable. Service is fast & waiters are friendly. There is even a singing trio. You can also choose to sit in an aircon area or non-aircon area. Meat, fish & veggie meals are available. An Amira's Tart outlet is also located inside the resto. Ample parking is available and the resto is along the Aguinaldo Highway, very near Pink Sisters and Angel Hills.
Average food but our server was great. Place is open and spacious, loved the garden ambience.
Bulalo and Tawilis was nothing spectacular, but you can always ask mfor extra soup and vegetables.
Halo-halo was too sweet for our liking and 1 order is good enough for sharing due to the overwhelming sweetness.
Under the radar type restaurant with unexpected tasty food. We were led to the restaurant because of the heavy traffic along the restaurant row in Tagaytay and it was along our way home. Located along Aguinaldo highway, before SVD road on your right if you come from the Tagaytay rotonda. It has ample parking and the dining area looks that it needs refurbishment. A change of tables and chairs would give a nice touch. The waiters are always ready to serve upon your signal. We ordered crispy pata binagoongan (they suggest that the sauce is served separately), fresh lumpia ubod, pinakbet, pancit bihon, and sinigang sa miso ulo ng tanigue. The service was fast, we did have to wait long for the food we ordered. And surprise, surprise, the food taste delicious. My uncle Rene was right, it is usually the simple reataurants that serve good tasting food compared to the fancy ones. You get value for money here. Definitely within your budget. I recommend you try D'Banquet.
