This is a Filipino restaurant in Tagaytay which serves Filipino buffet. You can find local dishes and uncommon ones like my favorite balut ala pobre (they regularly change their menu though, so this may not be available at all times). There's also a salad bar and dessert section. There's an in-house cafe inside D Banquet where you can get coffee and other drinks afterwards.
Good value for money when you're in Tagaytay.
It is sunday and day off should never be boring. Me and my family love this place since we discovered this last January. They offer Sunday Buffet, which I believe this month of March they will have a Saturday buffet too. What I love the most here is their Bulalo Soup, Adobo sa Dilaw, and the Balut ala Pobre. Before I forget, the Chicharong Bulaklak too is a MUST TRY. They also have coffee shop inside, you might want to try their specialty coffee too. 100% Arabica served by their friendly Barista. Over 28-30 food choices just for 499 per head (buffet).
Ordered arroz caldo, chicken mami and lomi. Serving size can be good for 2persons (3 if with kids). Fast service. Polite crews. Food taste good (not salty). They also have buffet at 599.
Quiet and cozy cafe? D’Banquet is your go to place in Tagaytay then. Famous for their pastries.
Food: Different Fruit Tarts are available in this area. Local tourists of course looks for their Buco pie and Buco tart. Other flavors also incluse mango, mango cheese, blueberry and a lot more! You should also try the different coffees and drinks they offer. I must say that their Cafe Mocha, taste so much better than your famous coffee flavors. Other Filipino pasalubong treats could also be found here.
Ambience: Place is very quiet since we are the only people here during my visit.
Service: Everytime that I go here, crews are very polite and serves you right away.

After going to church in Pink Sisters it is always a good idea to eat here.

Maganda ang place. After magsimba sa pink sisters, eto ang masarap kainan. 4 stars kasi medyo pricey ang food pag oorder sa menu. Meron dn silang eat all you can na madami ring food choices.

Cheap buffet with lots of choices
Product: It seems that most restaurants in Tagaytay switch from ala carte to buffet during Sundays, and that includes D'Banquet. It took us a while to decide but eventually, we all agreed to go here. They have stations for pasta, viands, salads, appetizers, and desserts. There's so much to choose from and if you're going here with kids, they'll find so many familiar dishes that they won't find it hard to choose which dishes they will eat.
I loved all the pasta, they gave me the taste that I expected and I was satisfied with it. They also had Bulalo soup and Bulalo Mechado which you should taste especially if you can't leave Tagaytay without tasting some. Basically, they offer you your favorite homemade dishes and you can have as much as you can. The taste doesn't stand out but they weren't bad so you can't complain.
Some of the desserts were good like the ube pastry and the kiwi cake. Some were okay, not too sweet and just enough to be a "pampatanggal umay" and get some sugar on your taste buds.
Venue: D'Banquet is like a party venue type and a cozy cafeteria. There's a small room with aircon but most people dine outside, Tagaytay's breeze isn't hot so eating outside isn't such a bad choice. There's also a musician going from table to table who sings 2 songs/per table. I don't know if he's an employee there but everyone else seems to be happy having him around for some entertainment. The servers are okay, sometimes they were easy to call, sometimes you have to shout a few times to get their attention but they do act quickly when you make a request.
Tagaytay is the place to go to, if you want to escape the busy scene of the City once in while. A few drive from manila will lead you to this beautiful city with a colder climate. We went here to have some lunch with some Zomato Foodies for a #zomatoXnutriasia food crawl. Our first stop was the D’Banquet Restaurant located just along the road leading of Aguinaldo Highway leading to Tagaytay City. The restaurant has a nice location and a big parking space so don’t even worry in bringing your car. The facade of D’Banquet is like a garden type. They also have a air-conditioned dining area if you find it too humid outside.
