Decided to try Taco Shack after discovering it when I visited SSS Tagaytay. I like that the place is very accessible. The food is great but not so spectacularly great. Particularly loved the cruchy yet soft fries, the garlic cilantro sauce next to the quesadilla, the cheese sauce on the nachos, the mashed potato and the tacos: YUUUM! Nabitin lang ako sa tacos (and it's not reaally mexican) but it's so delish! Will deff come back! Also, the nacho chips are served hot and crunchy!
A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I drove all the way to Tagaytay just to have a little "us time," away from all parenting despondency. It was the start of the long weekend with a Monday holiday so as expected, there was the horrendous traffic. With a long weekend on the rise, people seemed to run to Tagaytay for a quick getaway from Manila.
I always visit this place when im in tagaytay. it is near our house. food is great and a lot of choices. big serving but affordable price. i love their adobo nachos.
Must try! Simple place but they offer a very good food. I’m amaze with the different kinds of hot sauce you can try. the price of the food is average. I liked the taste of their adobo nachos, good for 3-4 persons for only 200 pesos. 😊

Taco shack is a good place for your barkada to hangout and pig out especially that they have a roofdeck overlooking the taal lake and volcano. Easy to find (it's near the rotonda in tagaytay and the new mcdonalds). You get what you pay for (see photos for reference). Food tastes good and can make you full so be sure what to order. The price of the food here is budget friendly.
The next time I'll eat here sana may bubong na sa rooftop para kahit maaraw maenjoy yung view while eating. Worth it ang first try. I love the food. Sana di lang puro hot sauce nasa table 😁

It was just raining lastnight so we did not get to experience to enjoy the view while we dine in.😟 it's fine though as we enjoyed the food we ordered. I was also amazed for the variety of hot sauce they have available " per table ". The service was fast and ambiance is great, love the colored popsicle sticks decos on the walls and the flower and vase. 🌸🌸🌸
So we had Caesar salad, Quesadillas Cheese, Chicken and fries, then Hard Taco Mexican beef. All for P472..(This is the first time I am writing a review with the exact amount we paid) You do not get to pay such amount for an expensive well known Mexicali resto when you orders those especially when you are in the metro, you know what I mean.
Verdict: Almost all passed my delectable scrutiny, however, the Caesar salad has to improve a little bit, just add a few lettuce leaves and the chicken fingers are a bit over fried and dry.
All in all, good value for 💰money💸💸💸
The food is taste so good .. the place and location is also nice they have a great view of taal volcano in their roof deck .. for the price of food it satisfying for me 500 pesos is good for 2-3 person .. they have big serving and good tasting drinks.. and also a good place to bring your love one .. ,..............................
