Best place to eat breakfast ! Anything you can think of to eat for breakfast, it’s at Balay Dako. Delicious food😋
And Our families favorite place 👍
Thank you Jonard & staff for great service , The best as always !!!
Twas my first since my mom recommended it to me..and I love it. i think I have found the best place for my foreign guests na hindi ako mapapahiya. The crews are very pleasant and attentive to our needs. The place is so clean and their restroom is so clean and very cozy. Then the food is awesome and masarap. I went out happy. My mom is so finicky and very choosy and she so hard to please when it comes to place.. food and service but I was shocked that she recommend it to me and so we tried it last night and we all went home happy..thank you Balay Dako see you again more often.. My mom and I loved everything from food to the scenery. That beautiful view of Taal and the homey ambiance of Balay Dako ..

we went here to try their kansi - not a fan. ambience is ok, it felt crowded - i was expecting it to be more cozy despite dining on a weekend.
Loved the breakfast buffet selection.Place is full as early as 8 am on a Sunday. They don’t run out of food even with the crowd going on.Will definitely comeback to bring family and friends.
I am falling in love with your bulalo! 😍
The price was reasonable because their serving are good for at least four people. Their sizzling bulalo is something I would come back for. Their sisig wasn't good though and the service was really bad.
can't think of enough superlatives to describe this restaurant. everything is just perfect. i givr an extra 🌟 for the very attentive and friendly service. always a pleasure visiting this place when in tagaytay.
Good food. Good parking space. Nice ambiance. Be sure to come early. There's always a waiting line. Not to worry, they have many tables to accomodate quite a huge no. of guests. Just wish their restrooms are up to the task also.
I remember seeing Balay Dako in a Pinoy movie. It is certainly a "sosyal" type of resto. This place is great for reunions, especially if budget is not a problem, and if you like an overviewing sight of Taal.
Truly, one of the restaurants to go to in Tagaytay. You will fall in love with the view of Taal while eating. Absolutely loved their handmade piyayas as well. Bought a pack before leaving. On to the other dishes- the bulalo is really good for sharing. We're a family of 4, and can barely finish the soup. Daming laman! And soup is refillable. I absolutely loved the Kare-Kareng Gulay. The Kare-Kare sauce really tasted like real peanuts; and the amount of vegetables were really generous. We even had some for take out because we couldn't finish even if we were known, as a family, to eat a lot. The sizzling squid was underwhelming though. We thought it would be the star of the lunch, but it lacked flavor. We were thinking that it will have egg, just like a normal sisig, but it tasted like chopped up grilled squid for me. Overall, would definitely try their other dishes.
It’s all good! Balay Dako can be packed with guests during weekends, so get there as early as 10AM, and take the table with a beautiful view of the lake. :)
