Bought buco pie and ube jam. For some reason, the ube tastes less creamy compared to the onea I buy in Baguio. Still, a lot better than the rest. I also like the reusable plastic containers better than the glass jars.

The place is easy to find but it's on a sharp curve turn which makes it hard to actually go here. It's quite dangerous, especially for inexperienced drivers.

I'm a big fan of Good Shepherd's ube that I actually go to Baguio just for it. However, we stumbled upon a branch here in Tagaytay. The only difference is that they serve less products and their ube is in reusable tupperwares which is nice.

For the price point, it's worth it. The ube is so yummy as usual. Also, every purchase of any Good Shepherd product makes it possible for their scholars to continue their education. A good deal.

Good Shepherd became popular first in Baguio and no trip to Baguio is complete without coming back with a pack of Good Shepherd goodies. When the branch in Tagaytay opened a few years back, it became an instant hit. Now, a trip to Tagaytay is no longer complete without a stopover here.

If there is only one thing that you can buy, go for the ube (yum) jam. That delicacy is synonymous with the Good Shepherd name. It is rich and creamy, with natural yum flavour. If you have more money to spare, there are other items to try - from tarts to chocolate flakes to garlic chips.

With this trip, we came back with three large packs of ube jam, four canisters of chocolate flakes, a canister of chocolate crinkles, two boxes of ube tarts, one box of buko (coconut) tarts and a small can of garlic chips. Leaving the place, we were satisfied with the amount of items we purchased. However, now that we are home, we wished we bought a few more. A of writing, I've already had a few spoon-full of ube jam. Yum indeed!

We came by and bought some pasalubongs, as always. Of course, the ever delicious ube jam. A winner of hearts all the time! Don't forget they close at 6pm.

Passed by to buy some pasalubong. Didn't get to take pics of the placd because i had to stay in the car. Wifey got buko pie and other goodies. Good stuff and a nice change from the too popular rowena's. Adding pics soon of the goodies.

If you are planning to go to Tagaytay this summer, make sure to drop by Good Shepherd for delicious “pasalubongs”. Some foodie friends wanted to buy some “pasalubongs” from Good shepherd so we went there. This is a sneak peak of this visit because we just stayed there for about 30 minutes and head our way back to the road.

During our Zomato out of town foodie meet up, we also stopped by at Good Shepherd - Bahay Pastulan before we went back to Manila.

The place is perfect for those who wanna buy pasalubongs like ube jam, tarts, pies, cookies, jams, peanuts and other delicacies without the hassle of traveling to Baguio just to buy these.

I wasn't able to buy anything (since I still have ube jams at home as I went to Baguio last month) but I was able to taste the Cuchipan.

I find the Cuchipan very cold and honestly, I didn't like the taste :(

But I'll still gonna give them a 4.0 rating as this place has a wide variety of pasalubongs to chose from and it's more accessible than the main in Baguio. :)

I bet every Pinoy who has been to Baguio (well every Pinoy for that matter) knows what Good Shepherd is and how good their ube jam is.  I am such a fan of ube (purple yam), that I eat anything with ube flavor, ube cake, ube candies, ube pastilas, ube ice cream, name it it's my favorite. I only knew that Good Shepherd has a branch in Tagaytay when my bestfriend Kristina came to Manila to look for a wedding venue back in 2011. I accompanied her and her family to Tagaytay to check out possible venues for their wedding and we did a side trip to Good Shepherd to buy delicacies. And from there on, a trip to Tagaytay had always been incomplete without a visit to that place.
