Great selection and taste so good, AS IN GOOD! Even though this is a good 10min drive from the restaurants beside the lake, you will have your table filled with glorious food. As in absolutely! Best to try kare kare, lumpia and cheesy meatloaf.

We didn't expect much so we were surprised that not only the food is affordable but also delicious. The staffs are accommodating and friendly too! We were hesitant to check out this restaurant because of few feedbacks but we're glad we give it a try. The place is nice, cute and many instagrammable spots, definitly worth another visit.
Love this simple and humble cafe along Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay road. Been here with family and dogs. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food is served in big servings and delicious. Will be back again... with my dogs!

This small, unassuming roadside cafe holds surprisingly delicious food and a homey ambience. Overall the selection nothing fancy, but definitely well-cooked and well-seasoned - if sometimes on the rich side. Did I mention that most of their vegetables are sourced from a hydroponic and aquaponic farm on the same lot?
Went here for a Sunday lunch in a group of 5. As you order, complimentary bread and with tasty fresh, homemade pesto is served.
Kare-kare was stunning, and the star of the lunch. Rich, thick sauce was obviously made wit real ground peanuts, and the oxtail was slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone. Comes with a small side of homemade bagoong.
Cheesy meatloaf - aka embotido - was flavorful and had an excellent bite. The savory flavor of ham, pork, and cheese was evident throughout the entire dish. Ketchup is provided - in classic Filipino fashion - but you don't need it.
We also ordered the sizzling beef salpicao - medium-cooked beef cubes practically swimming in garlic, mushrooms and butter - and a classic chicken pork adobo. Both good dishes in their own right.
On the side, was the crunchy chicharong bulaklak, of course served with suka. Simple, sinful, and wonderfully fried.
We capped off the meal with garden smoothies - a rich, green and refreshing smoothie made of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Highly recommend eating here if you're in the area. It's a nice place to stop over and enjoy classic Filipino fare. Looking forward to trying their chicken and pinakbet - both apparently also customer favorites.
If you're looking for a place to eat that's reasonably priced and has generous servings , head out to this amazing cafe/restaurant! Those lines just perfectly defines the place itself. I just had to post this review to let everyone know how great the place is. Obviously, the place displays a homey personalized touch of the owners indoor interior with ornaments, and displays that came from the countries they had traveled. Moreover, the menu came from home recipes that's cooked to perfection according to the owner. I couldn't agree more once I tasted their best seller Kare-kare! all other dishes were also a must try! especially the chicharong bulaklak, cheesy rolls(I'm not sure how to call it ) and meaty rice meals and steak with steamed veggies on the side!Cant wait to come back again in this newfound place!
