Hermana is Consistent!
Manager Ryan, staff Camille and Kenneth and Chef RJ are always on hand to provide a satisfying and sumptuous dining experience! We come here regularly and never tire of their dishes!
Fresh lumpia is delightful, crab omelette, pansit and crispy pata plus mais con hielo and other yummy desserts! Prices are reasonable and portions are good.
They offer a lunch buffet for only 299 - yes all you can eat!
Good and cozy place. Ideal for family gatherings..Accommodating staff... Love the buffet..especially the pancit, pakbet and coffee jelly.. Good music :) individual orders are not that pricy. Will be back! :)

A bit pricey but the flavor of Filipino dishes have been stepped up. The place itself is neat and clean. Wouldn't recommend though for family occasions since the space is very limited. Nevertheless it was worth it.
THIS RESTAURANT HAS SHUT DOWN
Expansive menu and new manager, Ryan Mojica, is definitely a professional. He listens attentively to how you want your food prepared, omits ingredients that you don't care for and those that could trigger one's allergies. It's rare to find a filipino restaurant that can actually perform this service because most dishes are already pre-mixed. He is a hands-on manager and remains calm even during the lunch and dinner rush. Thanks to him Hermana opens on time and everything is in order. Looking around, I've observed that customers are satisfied with their orders and leave content.
The restaurant is sparkling clean and tastefully decorated. Restroom is clean and odor free. There are 2 big screen TVs and when the restaurant opens at 10:00 am before the lunch rush, you can even pick a movie. Dishes are all appetizing and delectable. We have been eating at Hermana Serin since it opened and it remains one of our weekly rounds.
Nice to meet you Ryan Mojica --- you rock dude!
I like the place and ambiance. Food is good. Will try other menu on our next visit. A recommended place with you are on a budget. Not too expensive compared to other restaurants.
This restaurant in Tagaytay serves Filipino cuisine, not only great for balikbayans and for entertaining foreign guests, but also for locals who would want to have traditional Filipino comfort food. ✔ perfect for coffee lovers. ✔ cool and cozy place. ✔ Cash and Cards accepted. ✔ own restroom
was looking for a quick bite for merienda, but when papa and i saw the big menu outside Hermana’s resto w/ this tahong soup picture on it, we were sold! the soup was hearty and boy was it delicious and fresh! while the other parties were cooling off w/ the restos’s crushed iced treats, papa and i were chowing down on the seashells and warmly cozying up to the love this soup brought on. it’s just a simple dish, but it packed an impression that i will forever remember! sarap!
For a Filipino restaurant located at a mall, this one actually beat my expectations. The food is great and the serving is generous. Their signature binagoongan verde takes the cake. I always order an extra side of green mango purée because it just balances out the saltiness of the dish. I’m not reall the biggest fan of fusion food but this dish is something I come back to over and over. Their oyster Sisig is also good, although it can be on the salty side. The leaching kawali is also quite generous with more meat than fat.

The food in Hermana taste really good and value for money. We'll definitely go back for their Maliputo (rare fish that can only be found in Taal Lake!), Binagoongan Verde and talonganisa! Something new and delicious! Hope they could get a place with Taal view to complete the Tagaytay experience 😊😊😊
We tried the Binagoongang Verde (kasi ayon sa reviews must try daw), and masarap nga sya! To the point that we ordered 2!? And apat lang kami kumain! Hehe
Will definitely go back. :)
For taste review:
Pork bagoong was 3/5
Crab rice 3/5
Sisig 2.5/5
Fresh lumpia 5/5
Cheesy oyster and tahong 3/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Serving vs. Price = reasonable
Fresh lumpia is a must !
What made us try this restaurant is with its specialty which is the Binagooang Verde. This dish is crispy Lechon Kawali (pork) rubbed with bagoong (shrimp paste) the saltiness is complimented by he sourness of its green mango puree best paired with plain steamed rice. We paired it with adobong kangkong (river spinach) and tokwa (tofu) which we think is cooked immaculately.
Definitely a must try restaurant if you're in Tagaytay.
Very authentic Filipino food with a impressive design. The famous bulalo does not disappoint at Hermana. I would recxomend coming here!- Ansel a Ponce Diama
Food service is good. Staff and crew are very accomodating and friendly. They give Filipino foods some twist. Not your usual lutong bahay but the food is really good. Not that pricey though. They are one of the first restaurant to open at Ayala Serin. The place is also really nice. It is instagramable as well.
Our experience was great! the staff was very accomodating and always smile 😊 The place was very chill and has a nice vibe. The food was very good and affordable
Love the fast service of this Resto and the taste of their Filipino food. I love the tahong chips and the Totang Talonganisa. Will sure comeback and recommend Hermana to our friends.
We stopped for late lunch of our youngest as she just woke up sleeping in the stroller. The meatball misua was pretty good but a tad salty. The meatball itself was very yummy. I hope to come back to try their other dishes.

Went here countless times..for lunch..for dinner..for take-out..recommendable are the lumpiang sariwa, binagoongan verde, tinolang tahong and baked caldereta..even if I have not tasted everything in their menu, i'm very sure the rest will just be delectable.
Ate here last night for dinner. Ordered Binagoongan, Crispy Tawilis, Inadobong Tahong, and Sinigang na Baboy. Our server was pleasant and we liked the food. Their binagoongan is one of the best I've ever eaten. The tawilis was soft and crispy, and I even ate the head even though I always avoid eating that part of the fish. The inadobong tahong was okay but it was too salty for me and the sinigang was good. Interiors are cute. Will dine here again to try the other food on their menu.

Food tastes good at affordable prices. Servers are nice and accommodating. Will definitely go back if craving for filipino food around here. Binagoongan verde is a must try for bagoong lovers. 😄
I agree with the other review that it gets noisy at times. But...
I must say, this place is the most overlooked restaurant here in Serin. Perhaps because, I think, the place exudes the aura that it's expensive to eat here. Well, that's not true. It's relatively cheaper than the LZM Restaurant downstairs. It's just that the place is well-designed.
We were looking for a place to eat here in Serin so I checked Zomato for the pricelisting of the restaurants here, and I was surprised to find out that it's not expensive to eat here as it looks.
But the price of the food here is not the only reason why I gave a 4.5. The taste of their food is 👍 *two thumbs-up* 👍. My mom, who is a very picky eater to the point that it's annoying, liked the food here. BTW, we ordered the KKK, Crispy Tadyang, Hipon sa Gata, Sinigang na Bangus Belly, and a platter of rice good for 5 people. Mom said the Hipon sa Gata is her favorite. My brother, who is sobrang hina kumain, liked the Crispy Tadyang. They served the sinigang on a hot pot so the soup was uber hot. I liked their sinigang--it was sour enough for my liking. The problem is the KKK--baked oysters and mussels--both the oysters and the mussels became makunat minutes after it was served, plus the mussels were so big it was scary lol. Regardless, the food was so good, we finished all the rice (there was only three of us, and not to mention both my mom and my brother are skinny because konti lang silang kumain).
As a local, I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Food good. Price is very good. Ambience is not good. Too much noise. Too much echo of chairs, plates and utensils clanging. Bulalo is good. Try the Gising Gising it is excellent!
