I was so jealous of my husband having their seminar/conference held at Asiong's today. He said the food was genuinely superb awesome caviteño recipes, brings back so much memories of the original Asiong's from Cavite City. Truly an heirloom and the owner, Mr. Sonny Lua was so down-to-earth, he personally take care of the customers, walang ka-ere ere super bait. At dahil inggit na inggit ako, my hubby bought me pasalubong, the original Pancit pusit prepared personally by the very humble owner. The pancit was good for two, pero sobrang sarap and shared nothing with my homies. Looking forward to go back to this beautiful place with awesome food most definitely.
The place is airy, surrounded by lush greens. Ambiance is laid back & relaxing. Food is well-cooked, flavorful and delicious. They have a deli, selling breads, jams, sauces and Filipino snacks. Sonny, the resto owner, is charming and gracious. He regals customers with stories about the food he offers - whether it's a family heirloom recipe (like the Pancit Pusit) or a homage to his hometown, Cavite (like the Caviteño cheesecake). Best place to visit when in Tagaytay.
Had the best tapsilog with my fellow bikers! Place has a good
country ambiance and the staff were very courteous! Will definitely go back with my family and recommend it to my friends as well!
Asiong's offers the best kept family recipes of Cavite. The best of both worlds-classics and twists... While twists are the playful, modern interpretations of those classics. Highlights include the pancit pusit, Kare-Kare, Fresh tinapa and Tinolang manok. Super delicious . Sonny Lua is not only a good chef but also an interior decorator. I always go there for lunch and requests for special carrot cake my favorite. I give it five stars!
One of the best meals in our life! Thanks for Sonny’s picks. All his recommendations were enjoyed tremendously by myself and my family. We loved the pako salad adorned with flowers Sonny picked from his garden. And the pancit pusit did not fail. Since dining at Asiong’s, everything pales to his superb cuisine. We were actually on our way to Tagaytay in search for the best bulalo and we thought we found it! But after eating at Asiong’s, everything else tasted uninteresting. Sonny is an excellent host as well, gracious and elegant. He spent time with us, told us many interesting tales even the kids were enthralled by him. He has the best staff, they even came out of the restaurant with umbrellas to shade us from the rain. Never had been treated by anyone like that! Mr. Sonny Lua, thank you for your exemplary food. It made us so happy that we took the chance of taking that road less traveled and discovered what you had to offer. We will be back when we visit the Philippines again.
Having discovered Asiong's on my ascent to Tagaytay was unexpected but an interesting one. I never thought driving through the outskirts of Silang would give me such treat. The restaurant situated in a farming village offers a new experience in Caviteno cuisine which I never heard there was. What's more interesting was the owner and staff took take time to narrate the history of each menu and their connection to the Province not to mention the interior of the place that speaks a hundred more tales of history. I'm impressed!
Cavite food is transported to a place in Silang, Cavite where tradition and modernity meet. Asiong is a true blue ambassador of Filipino cuisine, with its unique take on heritage dishes of Cavite and the favorite dishes in Filipino restaurant menu. A must-visit dining destination in Southern Luzon. Isang mapagmamalaking obra sa larangan ng Kulinarya at Pagkaing Pilipino!
Thank you for your hospitality and personal touch on our delicious orders Chef/Owner Sonny Simot sarap lahat Freshly harvested Pako Salad, Pancit Pusit, Krispy Kare-kare, Taragon tea, Tsokolateng Batirol, layered cheese cake, Sapin-sapin and of course thank you for the free taste of your freshly baked rum cake. Highly recommended and will surely comeback to try other recipes
First time, but i think there will be a seconde time, 3rd time and many times. Superb sarap ng karekare at ng pansit negra..
The best Asiong.. u must visit this place guyz located at tagaytay.
Asiong has the best pansit pusit and pako salad. The petals on the salad was freshly picked from their al fresco and everyone in the restaurant is really hospitable. They even handed us some insect repellant so we can enjoy eating outside.
Asiong's Cavitenong Restaurant is known as the pride of Cavite. It's a family-run business that serves heirloom dishes.
What I love: pan de troso with quesillo (kesong puti), fresh pako salad with homemade vinaigrette, pancit pusit (you can really taste the squid flavor) and sapin-sapin (different flavored layers of ube, langka, buko).
Location wise, it's a bit of out the way but I guarantee that it's worth driving/commuting to. The restaurant is big and spacious, there's an alfresco garden dining area if you want a more natural setting. Can be packed on weekdays especially, in which case it's best to reserve your slot.
The best! We are entertained by Sir Sonny and staff we very accommodating. We love the food and the 2nd time we went there with our children and mother in law. Me and my wife will come back for more.
it was my first time to try Asiong's. i was ensnared by the view of the place. the old soul in me had a profound feeling of joy and curiosity. the garden facade welcomed us where we met mr. sonny watering the plants surrounding us, and said, "we grow our own veggies here.." curiosity is now a notch higher. i fell in love with the dining area called the "al fresco" where you will dine with nature and her cool breeze.
the pako salad, edible ferns garnished with edible flower petals lightly drizzled with refreshing fruity and tangy dressing, danced its way to tease our appetite.
when the famous pancit choco en su tinta touched my lips, i was in awe! the harmony of noodles in squid ink is like an orchestra of delectable ingredients serenading my taste buds!
the barako coffee with roasted ground rice, is best black adding their own concoction of muscovado sugar, cinnamon sticks and nutmeg has a burst of complimenting flavor. I am guilty of being a caffeine dependent but it was the most charming cup of joe i ever had so far.
talk about service, we were not just served. we were spoiled by the kindest staff.
asiong's is like a time machine that teleported us to quietude. a great place for quality time with family and friends.
and yes, that inspiring colloquy with sir sonny that left a mark "always think out of the box".. thank you sir sonny! we'll see you again soon!
ASIONG by Mr. Sonny Lua
Asiong takes pride in being an ALL CAVITEÑO Restaurant, having a touch of the different places within whole province with each item on the menu.
It all started with Sir Sonny’s parents establishing Asiong’s Café and Carinderia in Cavite City just a humble place where locals would be able to enjoy good food. But from such humble beginnings made this not so ordinary Carinderia be a landmark destination for foodies for it would transport you to such a wonderful food adventure.
Migrating from the local wayside of Cavite City to the tourist destination city of Silang, which is just a stone throw away from Tagaytay. Asiong was able to pack all the goodness and offering they have before and even innovated it to enhance one’s experience not only of the food but of the overall experience of the province of Cavite.
Foodies would always be in search for a place that showcase a deep understanding of different flavor profiles and the way local folks actually cook and eat their food using basic ingredients that nature has blessed them with. But having to look for one is not as easy as one can think of. A great deal of research and hard labor would be needed to find a great place to dine.
But Asiong would not just be an option but rather the go to place once you are near Tagaytay or Silang. A place to rest your mind, to fill you heart and your stomach with such sumptuous meals they offer. Each meal would be able to offer such a balance among the most overwhelming ingredients. Just take into account Sir Sonny’s Pancit Pusit or “Pancit Choco En Su Tinta” that uses one would say be very basic and have basic ingredients but Sir Sonny was able to elevate such simple meal be such a memorable one balancing all flavors within a dish.
I know I am not such a food critic like the rest of the people. But I surely know what food I love to go back for more. If ever you are planning to go to Tagaytay or Silang, do not for get to drop by and be inspired to dine around the province of Cavite within one restaurant. Just Waze yourself to Asiong and find yourself a gateway to a wonderful food adventure.

One of the best Cheesecake I’ve ever tasted! We ordered Fried Chicken and Bangus (not in the photo though) and it was good too! Of course, it’s perfectly paired with a garlic rice! My fiance and I had an early Sunday dinner date at their Al Fresco and I must say, it’s such a chill place! I love it! BTW, It’s called, Caviteno Cheesecake 🤩
Great food. The al fresco dining area is great and relaxing. We were the only ones there so there was a dedicated server to attend to our needs since the main restaurant area was a bit far. So definitely great service. We ordered the kare-kare, bulalo, halo-halo and barako coffee. Definitely worth the trip and worth coming back too.
We love off-the-beaten path places to eat and explore. Highly recommended by our hotel host, it did not dissapoint. We ordered crispy pata kare-kare for dinner. Was good for our family of 4. To end the meal we enjoyed the tablea hot chocolate.
We dined at the alfresco area surrounded by an herb garden.
We also met Sonny the owner of the place. Asiong is his father and they've been in the restaurant business for more than 50 years.
Sonny of Asiong’s of Cavite never cease to satisfy. We’re a group of 10 persons and had a busy afternoon ahead of us. Sonny accommodated our pre-ordered authentic Caviteno lunch. It was ready by the time we arrive and we had plenty of time to enjoy the place and some photoshoot. Talking about up close and personal service from the food guru himself! Love you Sonny!
I've been wanting to try pancit pusit but only had the chance to do so today. Asiong's is worth finding as it's hidden in Silang, Cavite (don't worry coz waze helped us locate it ☺️) Their food is great! 👌 We had a quick meryenda and we were satisfied with what we had. Must try is the recommended juice by the order taker 😉 tomato pineapple juice 🍅🍍🍹. I loved it ❤️ Never miss their famous pancit pusit and make sure to smile after eating it 😁 The owner is accommodating and even shared some stories as he stopped by our table. Satisfied foodie here ☺️👍
Food and drinks we had were all delicious! We tried the crispy kare-kare, pansit pusit, okoy, and sinigang. I especially liked the tomato pineapple juice, and the leche flan and sapin-sapin for dessert. Hidden gem in Silang! Will definitely come back for more! :)
The place is sooo great. They even have a garden where you can find the herbs and other fresh ingredients they use for cooking. The place is perfect for eating with your family and ambiance is also great for a romantic dinner with your special one.
The food is kind of pricey but serving is good for 3-4 pax. Also, food is unique and tastes great too. I suggest you try Pancit Pusit if you are looking for a food that is something new but also tastes great. The service is also excellent. The crew treats the guests well and helps you pick dishes suitable to your taste. Definitely coming back.
Absolutely excellent food but reservations are necessary though. Ask for Sonny He will be a big help. Crispy Kare Kare, Pusit Pancit, daing na Bangus, adobong Pula, Bagoong Rice are just a few that will definitely come back for more and of course the fresh garden slad with kesong puti😊😊😊
