Ambiance was nice. :-) We have been looking for a restaurant which offers affordable yet authentic korean experience for their bibimbap and Kogi Bulgogi perfecfly fits the criteria. However, it would be much better if their side dish would improve. :-)
Food is good and fresh. Winner is the set with lettuce and korean sauces. So nice and light on the tummy. Pork meats was a bit tough. Maybe thinner slices or better raw materials can solve that. Place has a wierd smell but not too bad.
One of the few places where there is no service charge added to the bill. Place was not crowded. Server was nice and polite but overall service could be quicker. They provide complimentary kimchi, banana, and okra as appetizer. Ordered soft shell crab sushi and it was huge. Bibimbap and japchae portion sizes could use a bump. Overall taste was ok.

Kogi Bulgogi is a better option if you wanna have your Korean foods in a not so crowded place.
You can find your regular Korean favorites at a reasonable price.
Went here to celebrate my bff's birthday. I love the place hahaha so instagrammable 😁 I enjoyed their dweji its so delicious what amazed me about the food is because it has dilis hahaha. The staffs are all approachable and the ambiance is nice. Will come back here soon ☺☺☺
Yuk Hoi Dulsot [rae beef with raw egg] 🇰🇷🍜 not really Adan of Korean food . I only ate just because my friends are going to Korea so we considered this as primer
Tried Kogi Bulgogi for the first time in Promenade and ordered their Bulgogi which comes with US prime marinated beef with mushrooms, special sesame korean sauce and veggies. I liked it. It came with a free kimchi egg soup plus assorted side dish. I also tried their dumplings and chapchae which were all delicious. Everything was a bit typical but I enjoyed it cause it was served hot. I wasn't really craving for korean food during this time but I find it good... I even ordered 1 mango shake for my drink.. super food coma!!!

We left the place super full since everything we had are yummy!
I don't usually eat in Korean Restaurant but since my nieces and cousins are in Korea traveling their posts about Korean food made us try it!
We had.....
Jjampong: Spicy, thick soup quite salty with tinge of seafood taste rolled into one unexpectedly good! Actually one of my most recommended soups to try here.
Chicken wings: we had both sweet and spicy and sweet soy both tasted good both are crispy outside yet tender inside!
Sam gyup sal: this blew my hubby away this rice toppings is dominated with sweet and savory flavor with egg, sweet and crispy anchovies, sprout and of course grilled pork strips very good and must try.
Chicken lettuce wrap: a different take in enjoying grilled chicken strips, wrapping it in a fresh lettuce with sweet/soy/oily sauce with fermented radish/sprout/green chilies and thin sliced garlic this one is bursting with flavor quite messy to eat but worth it!
Overall this place really is a surprise and this might start my Korean cuisine exploration.
Korean Style Fried Chicken Toppings and Japchae. Yummey! So good and satisfying foods! Thumbs up! Happy astonishment of foods like here. I immediately loved the place and food we ordered.
PLACE: A Korean restaurant in front Greenhills, at the corner Promenade. The place was nice and the ambience suits the cuisine of the restaurant. And also dining behind me was this well-known actor with her beauty queen wife and their children which was a plus! Yay!
FOOD: The food tasted so good. We ate it all, no take-outs, yummmm!!! We were full and satisfied with our meal. The bulgogi was to die for, it's very sweet and delicious. The Kpops Chicken was also delish! I was amazed with their California Maki the rice they used was so fine. I'm sure if it's Japanese rice or if that's some Korean rice. 😊😋😋😋
SERVICE: The restaurant was quite full that day. So they were quite busy, but our food was served and we were contented with our meal. So all is well.
It has been a year (or more) since my last Kogi Bulgogi meal so I was hopeful that they have improved the quality of the food they serve. I ordered Sundubu-jigae (stew with soft tofu, clams, squid, pork) and a rice bowl - which I forgot what it's called, but basically it has sweet and sour fried chicken strips and 2 sides (bean sprouts & anchovies). I am not a fan of spice so I like that you can choose the spice level for the Sundubu-jigae. I chose level 2 out of 10 and I thought it was just right for me. The sweet and sour chicken rice bowl is surprisingly good. I didn't expect much to be honest but I had a satisfying meal for less than Php400. Super busog too! 😂 Customer service is so-so. Their staff lack warmth in terms of service. It would be nice if the waitstaff smile often and greet guests with sincerity.
They had six variations of appetizers like usual Korean restos do. We ate Bimbimbop, Jjangmyeon, Ramyeon, Japchae, California roll, and jeon kimchi jeon (kimchi pancake). The food was okay and good for sharing. 😋
This is a worthy alternative to Kaya for commercial Korean food. The serving sizes are modest. Japchae and the steamed dumplings went by so fast -- modest serving size but to be fair, taste was good. Sorry Kaya, I think Kogi's Sundubu jigae is better! A profoundly hot clam and tofu soup is a must on a rainy day. Service was fast and friendly. Good job, Kogi!
I ordered Bibimpab and their Grilled Chicken with Lettuce and Kimchi. The good thing about this place is you could ask for side dish (kimchi, dilis, sweet potato, beansprout, etc.) Unlimited times as long as you dine in. Price is reasonable. They also have budget meals for 150 per order, amount of food is acceptable. I always dine here whenever I'm in Promenade/Greenhills.
The food and the ambience are better than your average korean restaurant. Food and service are fair enough for 8% service charge. ...........

Admittedly, I am not big when it comes to Korean cuisine. It’s one of the many cuisines I usually forget when asked, “Where to eat?” But don’t get me wrong: I do love Korean cuisine. And in this town, there aren’t many good Korean restaurants. But coming across Kogi Bulgogi , a hip, modern Korean, half Japanese restaurant that I’ve been eyeing for the longest time, this restaurant will make me want to eat here everyday.
We were greeted by a very jubiliant receptionist who was very friendly and in fact, I can say that she made me feel at ease. The interiors reminded me of a very modern Korea, something that’s a cross between country and steaming hot dojo.
The gyoza is too small and the taste is average. I don't recommend it. The California Rolls was pure heaven! I loved every bit of it. And i even wanted to order more! We also got the Sae-U Bibimbap for a change. Just think of it as Sizzling Gambas on the popular Bibimbap dish. I like their Bibimbap very much. One order alone can feed 2-3 people. Their Sam Gyup Sal is definitely a winner. The succulent layered pork is well grilled – not too toasted or undercooked. It is served with lettuce, six small balls of Korean rice, and three sauces: Ssamjang chili paste, Gireumjang (sesame oil and salt) and Doenjang, a sweet soybean paste. Finally, the star of my Korean feast is the Soft Shell Crab Roll. Take a minute to appreciate its work of art ~ That crunchy breadcrumbs atop each maki.
Cheap but satisfying especially their customer service. They provide appetisers for the guest who are waiting for their food to e served. Also their serving is large, I think its good for 2 if you're like me haha. Their foods are delicious!
I like Kogi Bulgogi as the place is nice and the ambiance is good. Service is okay here and the food arrives just in time. The prices can be a bit steep, but there are worth the flavors that the dishes bring.
I tried their tofu steak and i was not disappointed. The tofu was cooked perfectly. It was neither too soft or too hard. The flavors on the dish was spot on. I would have been satisfied with that but I also tried their tuk bulgogi and the meat was really sot and yummy. worth going back to.
This place is good enough if you want to have some Korean food but nothing really great. We had the Bulgogi and Kalbi Jjim (beef stew) and the price was okay for what it was. Again, just another average place to eat.
We had dined at Kogi Bulgogi when it started to operate I think.
My sister, mom and I are big fan of Korean food so when we noticed this newly opened korean resto we told our parents that we should try it here.
As we enter everyone greeted us with Annyeong!! Which is a way of saying hi/hello to the guests who are coming at the resto.
We had different varieties of their food which I loved. The Kalbi Jjim was great tho I think it was too sweet for me. We had their Bulgogi which was yummy too!! The Chicken Ssambap which is a vegetable bite rice wraps. We also had their Tuna Tataki similarly like a kilawin I'm not into eating raw but the tuna meat was really soft. Also, the Sae-U which is their tempura it was seasoned well.
Servers were very attentive and great too!!
Ambience was a modernized type of Korean restaurant.
it's a shame to eat here alone. i went here for a me-time-monday and tried their bulgogi ssam bap and a single-refill iced tea. hearty! i loved the side dishes: kimchi, bean sprouts, crunchy and sweet anchovies, sweet potato compote, young corn and mushroom with shrimp and mixed veggies that were probably processed like kimchi but tastes closely to our local atsara. the bulgogi itself was superb even without the dips. my experiment paid off but i would have preferred eating there with my kids and bf, family or friends.
staff are smiling and friendly. they'll attend to you in a very timely manner.
did i mention i just spent 395 for everything including the service charges?
I have to admit that this Korean resto is kind of fastfood and modern but their Ramyeon is cheap and their Kalbi is good in size and taste! Good service, clean resto and while authentic Korean restos are out of reach, Kogi will do!
Good food, good service. Definitely will come back. Maybe the music is a bit too loud.
