Food was okay and the place has a really good ambiance.
Overall experience was nice!
I actually liked this branch better than the one in Shangri-la as it was not as crowded and noisy. The waiters were also much more attentive (I would like to commend Owen for being a very attentive waiter especially in refilling water and ice tea, taking our orders and changing our plates). The food was also very good. The quality and the taste of the food were very consistent.
We ordered Clam chowder and mushroom soup and they were good. We ordered the Caesar Salad and it was also great (we couldn’t wait to dig in, that is why I did not have a good picture). The bleu cheeseburger was cooked to my brother’s preference (medium rare) however, he did not like the blue cheese so order this if you want to try new things or if you really like blue cheese. The baked ziti was good but I think that there are more food in the restaurant that is actually much worth ordering as it did not taste like anything special. The porkchops were also not that special so just go ahead and order another thing from the menu. We also ordered the chicken steak which I did not get to take a picture of since it was gone before I knew it (it was good! the taste was very consistent since I usually ordered this when I was younger) The tropical salmon was quite pricey but it was good because the salmon was very fresh and the salsa on top was not overpowering the salmon. For our dessert, we got the bread pudding which is so so so good. I really recommend this but just a warning, it is quite sweet so if you have a sweet tooth like me, then go ahead and try it!
Even though it was quite expensive, the food was worth it so I would be going back here again!
Bf and Me are roaming around looking for some resto to eat, then we pass by Tender Bob’s (my bf loves steak). I ordered, grilled salmon was great and mouthwatering. Never expected that the teriyaki sauce would fit it. 😊
My kids’ go-to-place. Can’t go wrong with their beef salpicao and garlic rice! We especially love The bomb too! I just wish the restaurant improves cleanliness of their toilet and area!
All time favorite. We’ve been coming here since it opened more than 10 years ago... reasonably priced steaks and the staff are warm and friendly.
Nice ambiance in Greenhills - quiet and not too crowded.
Staff were nice and a commodating.
Food was superb! We ordered:
Grilled bork chop and syeak- really good and tasty
Onion rings - nice but you jave to order the dip (this should come with a free dip)
Overll experience was nice!
Service was amazing. Food was ok. I particularly loved their buffalo chicken fingers. Quality of the steak was so-so (we just ordered the local beef).

I ordered the Grilled Porkchop and I loved it. It was so juicy and easy to slice. It's a bit pricey but with the delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and attentice staff, your money's worth it. I would love to try other food from their menu since this is what I always order.
I first heard of this through a friend. They've changed their menu, and underwent renovation so there were a few items that were removed, but we still love Tender Bob's.
We love the American diner vibe, and the staff are quite friendly and patient when it comes to dealing with first-time customers as well as their usual patrons.
Restroom is also clean and well-maintained.
Then you have their food. Mmmm.
For this visit, my partner went for Grandma's Meatloaf (about 239) and some sides and I went for my usual small ribeye steak (around 300) and what they call "The Bomb", a side made with baked potatoes, some garlic, cream, and maybe cheese? I really don't know but it's a must-try! The buttered veggies were really good, crisp, and tasty (I really love zucchini and carrots). The steak was done according to my liking and their own tabletop steak sauces were awesome (you can even buy your own bottle to take home). The meatloaf was hearty, and the gravy that comes with it would make you think of a countryside cottage home with your grandparents. :)
This resto could probably be compared to TGIFridays but with a much more homier feel like if TGIF is your woohoo party with friends new year countdown type of restaurant, Tender Bob's is yay sundays with gramps or football viewing with buddies.
Great food!
Superb service!!
We had our family lunch here and we ordered their grilled chicken, fully loaded burger, some salad and pasta. Satisfaction guaranteed indeed!

This is THE BOMB!!! 🥔 Figuratively because it really is soooooooooo good ...and literally it’s called “The Bomb” talaga!!! 😋 No visit to T-Bob’s is complete without having this. Kahit di na nga magsteak, ito nalang! 😆 Thinly sliced potatoes baked with cream, garlic, cheese and probably butter too - everything I love. Other faves are: Angus Sisig (with extra rice), Porkchop, Potato Skins, and our go-to boneless grilled Chicken Steak with gravy.
Tender bobs its kinda restaurant that i always been satisfied with service and taste of food, time by time i missed the food here so i have to visit here regularly
Try Australian Lamb w/ java rice which is my fav
I was pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the food, it was good. Unlike the old branch in SM north, the restaurant must have undergone some kind of major transformation.
Super love the food here! We ordered Seafood Platter and Grilled Porkchop - they were insanely delicious. Yes, everything’s a bit pricey, but with the experience and taste, it’s worth it.
Make sure to have a reservation unless you like eating al fresco style
The GOOD
🔹Service: orders were served after around 15 mins, waiters were friendly and refilled our waters
🔹BIG servings!
🔹All meats were really served medium rare, just the way we like it
🔹Country Chicken: not a fan of chicken, but this was my fav dish of the night! Chicken was crunchy and i love the seasonings
🔹Beef Salpicao: really tender and galicky
🔹Mushroom Soup: had lots of mushroom bits
🔹Salisbury: surprised that they served 2 BIG patties cooked to medium with a sunny side up
The NORMAL
🔹Local Ribeye: tender, simple, meaty
🔹Ribs: tasted like ribs of most restos
The BAD
🔹Baked Ziti- cheese tasted like quickmelt
Overall, I loved eating here! Steaks were affordable and perfect cooking from the chef
Mom and I are craving for pasta. There's no other pasta house (that we know of) within Greenhills. We passed by Tender Bob's and saw that they have Baked Ziti. So we tried it and it did not disappoint us. It was very cold that night, so we had mushroom soup as well. All for sharing. I cannot estimate if it will be enough for sharing or single order but mom and I shared for both. It was good. (Service crew are friendly and atentive, well they have to be... service charge is quite unexpected). Hehe.
delicious comfort food and good service.
ive tried the country fried chicken, salpicao and the tender bob's basic burger.its all good especially the portion size.worth the price.
After braving the rain and weekend traffic (w/ a hangover, nonetheless), we were hungry and craving man food. So off to Tender Bob's at Greenhills we go for steaks. Got the Ribeye (300g) and the Salisbury steak w sides of garlic rice, java rice, mashed potato, and coleslaw - all good for sharing. Steaks were perfectly cooked (medium, of course - because well done is blasphemous) and tender. Attentive and friendly servers were a plus ;)
Tbob's country style fried chicken is very yummy. It's so huge you cannot finish it all. It's already good for two. Their carbonara is not that good. But, all in all it was a great experience dining here.
Here we love their steaks (cooked to our preference) and their potato skins. Sometime we go for their spinach antipasti which is also quite tasty. Service is generally good. I docked it less .5 because the way the steaks are cooked are not consistent across several visits.
The food was worth its price! Food and service - 5 star! Large serving. I am very picky when it comes to coleslaw but theirs was really really good! :) Will definitely come back for that angus!
I met my mom for dinner and the best choice I can think of at that moment was here. My mom says she's been eating Pinoy food for the week and kinda feeling like eating something different. But to save us from all the trouble of walking around and deciding, we went here.
So, i ordered their house salad since my mom loves it. And 3 plates for each. So hefty servings. Beef salpicao is delicious, salmon is good too. And most of all, my mom enjoyed her share of the plate. Over chat and al fresco dining, it was a perfect evening for both of us. We enjoyed each plate and value for money is worth it.
Yummy food in my tummy! Had seafood and meat platter to balance everything. Lol!
I loved everything in the seafood platter. It has calamari, cheesy baked tahong (I tell you it's really cheeeeesy), prawns, and fish fillet.
Whilst for the meat platter I loved their ribs and grilled chicken. And everything was soft and tender.
And oh their Java rice is yummy too! Hihi.
Well worth the money and effort of going to Greehills just to go to this place. The prices were just right, not too expensive, but the steak was really juicy and they cooked it to perfection according to my preference. Their pasta was good and was good for 2-3 persons. If you want an alternative to highlands you can try this resto.
Me and my friends went resto hopping but others wanted to eat here; so I decided to get dessert here since I just had lunch. The standard Banana Split was almost perfect. The Ice Cream was smooth, creamy and has the right sweetness. A few nuts and candy sprinkles added crunch to this soft and luscious treat. I wish thout the banana was a bit more ripe.
Very easy choices here at Tender Bob's, I thought as I scanned the menu. Picked the clam chowder for starters and grilled porkchops and country style fried chicken as our main. We both loved it although the chicken was a bit overwhelming.
Can't believe I actually forgot to write about this place. Anyway, last time we went, we ordered their chicken tenders, burger (forgot what kind), and pork chop (didn't take a photo of it ;w;). Their chicken tenders was just okay (ugh I miss Holy Cow's chicken tenders!!), but it wasn't anything special - not something I'll order if we eat here again. Burger was good, I also liked the fries that came with it. The pork chop was nice too. Service and ambiance were good too.

" All of my life, where have you been, I wonder if I'll ever see you again. "
I wish they bring back their old menu which has a very affordable price for an 16 oz Ribeye steak :( Really sad that they have taken it out after having newly renovation of the Tender Bob branches.
I still like you Tenderbobs, just please please bring back the good choices :'(
Late afternoon lunch led us to Tender Bob's today. We were practically too tired and starved to go elsewhere so I was ecstatic with the menu.
Clam chowder was gloriously thick and laden with tidbits of clams and herbs. Its warmth satiated empty, growling tummies!
Ordered medium rare Rib-Eye and Oven-Baked Angus. The rib-eye was expertly cooked just as pink-in-the-middle as one sees chefs prep at Hell's Kitchen. Tender and tasteful, indeed. The Angus was also very tender and superbly seasoned not overpowering with spices. It hinted with fresh peppercorns that was aromatic.
The Calamari was equally delicious although the squid rings were not as tender as Cafe Juanita's.
Service was also notable. Male crew was truly accomodating and courteous.
Good and affordable steak! Ordered their 300g Angus Ribeye (P939) and Potato Skins (P289). Steak was lightly seasoned and tender, no need for gravy. Big serving of the side also.
I was looking for a place to eat something a bit different from Asian cuisine, I saw Tender Bob's Greenhills branch.I ordered grilled chicken and also tried their basic burger. The dishes were good. I like the Java rice and the size of the servings were generous. The staff are attentive and nice. The place is cozy.Reasonably priced food items.
For tender bob's, me and my friends ordered:
Spaghetti
Chicken Wings (which is boneless and because I love spicy)
Potato Skin
And that complimentary birthday cake (which is crepe + iced cream)
So let's start the review:
1. The chicken is not that spicy but the dip is good. I was just expecting it to be spicy. The pasta is fairly good but not so good I would say. The potato skin is really crispy and any kid would definitely like it. But I'll have to say a yes for my birthday crepe. Lol
2. Service is fair and the waiting time can be reasonable.
3. Ambiance is nice but I am hoping the chairs wouldn't be so close to the table to we can all move freely.
4. Price is okay as well. I think it justifies the food in a way. But not much
i was looking for a big juicy steak for weeks now so when i had a chance last weekend i didnt hesitate to try this one at the promenade, the steak was indeed underseasoned , not for the steak sauce and bbq sauce i wouldnt enjoy my steak at all ...a little let down for me but the potato skins is a saving grace , it was sooo good i can finish off the whole plate .
I enjoy tender bob's. It has good quality meat for an affordable price. I've gone a couple of times and they are always full of people and I have not been disappointed with the food.
I've definitely eaten here before but it's very interesting because they rebranded quite recently. Expected of course is the increase in prices of the establishment. I ordered the domestic ribeye while my boyfriend ordered the starving pork chops. To my surprise, I liked the pork more than the beef because it was seasoned way better. I would commend the texture and cook of the steak though however I would suggest they improve the taste.
Tender Bob's! My go to restaurant whenever I'm craving for delish carbonara and affordable Angus steak ❤️ I also like the competitive pricing for their selection of imported beers and bottled wines. I can't wait to visit again ❤️
Steak is LOVE! I am definitely coming back here. We ordered their Meat Platter and everything was simply Amazing! Super loved their steaks!👍
Tender Bob's is a great place to get western comfort food that specializes in steaks. They are brought to us by the same group that brought to us the very famous Meat Plus in Subic. This branch in Greenhills has been there ever since Promenade was opened (iirc).
If you are in a group, you can opt to order the bigger steaks and just split them for two people. I usually order the ribs (I love ribs) and they are pretty good as well. Clam chowder is also a staple order because my wife loves clam chowder.
Tender Bob's has good pricing, service and location. The place is also well maintained despite the numerous years in service. A great go to place to eat at Promenade!
My boyfriend swears this resto sells the best ribs. Best ribs means 100% meat, baby!
Choose between two serving sizes Hungry and Starving to see how PG you are. hehe I ate their Starving version of Baby Back Ribs (320php/Hungry 520php/Starving) and man it was one hell of a plate. You can taste the heavenly and perfectly blended BBQ flavor while munching on their juicy ribs. Again the serving was more than enough for one cup of rice. They even do have sliced corn and veggies on the side to complete your perfect cheat day! hehe

Great food☺️ always one our family favorites😊 service is great☺️ ambiance is ok. Price is reasonable & generous serving. Keep coming back when have a chance☺️
Love their new desert Caramel pudding with vanilla ice cream 😍
I never thought I would like another potato dish more that shakey's mojo potatoes. But when I ordered the potato skins here I was blown away. It was another type of potato dish for me that I liked very much. I will definitely order more in the future.
I love the steaks in tender bob's. It is juicy and flavorful. Although in recent memory they just look like a normal steak place nowadays, I still like them. Their salpicao in particular is awesome. I hold this dish in high regard.
I love Tender Bob's! This place is such a classic! Whenever I'm craving for good food I just dine here and order the Fish fillet, chicken steak and my all time favorite onion soup! Their soup is out of this world!
On the Table: Potato skins, Porkchops & Baked Ziti
My Food-O-Meter:
Taste: 3.5/5
Price: 3.5/5
Service: 3.5/5
Big serving, fairly priced. I always order the potato skins every single time
One comfort steak when cravings strike.. We always order the us rib-eye steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy plus the vegetables. Aside from the mashed potatoes i still order rice. Yum!
Fast service, good seasoning, and spot on doneness in all their steaks. I also love that they still haven't changed their menu. I love their prawn bisque and their potato skins with a double garlic dip. A bit disappointed that almost all branches don't have porterhouse deliveries for quite some time now. Everybody loves a good porterhouse! It's a must-have in any steak house.
Tender bob's serves great steak. Although I find the selection a bit limited, the choices are good enough. Ironically, it is not the steaks that I go for. I actually go there for their salpicao. Their salpicao is one of the best I have ever tasted. It is savory with just a hint of sourness and sweetness. The meat is very tender. I need a large quantity of rice just to finish one serving.
Always! Bob is always tender! For tonight we had Domestic Ribeye Steak for 2. A bit in a budget tonight since we have been splurging so much recently. Still, a 16 oz slab on a wooden chopping board done medium well with the juices oozing out as soon as my fork and knife hit the meat hit the spot. Tender, juicy, chewy and a bit red just the way i like it. With it came 2 sauces: peppercorn which was rich and spicy, and the mushroom gravy which was rich, mild and creamy. We ordered steamed veggies and mashed potatoes for the side. They weren't really "mashed" as they were very thin slices on top of each other with creamy sauce on top and in between. I wanted to order a glass of wine but they ran out tonight. I hope they refill their wines soon. Instead we paired the steaks with good old Coke. I always love love love coming to Tender Bob's
I ordered their Sautéed Mussels, Tomato Soup, Oriental Chicken Salad, and their 6 ounce Angus Rib-Eye Steak. I say that all of them were pretty good, no complaints.
Good Steaks! This is by far my favorite one. :) The quality of the steaks are very good. It is evident that their meat is weighed and you get the right one every time.
For people on a budget but wants to eat good meat, you can order their Pork Chops, with Mashed potato. Its my all time go to choice when I cant decide which cut to eat.
If you love to eat steak, then you must try Tender Bob's. Quality steak served here for your salivating cravings.
I don't recommend this though for foodies on a tight budget. Especially the municipality charge, VAT and don't forget the service charge. Full of charges!
I ate here on a Sunday date night with my boyfie. Good restaurant ambiance, efficient crew (they must be, haha!), good quality of meat. Though we almost hit 3000Php for a meal of two. Hehe. But we were definitely full and satisfied. ??
Steak was superb, good for its price. Hubby and I craved for good steak and saw tender bobs nearby, out first time to dine and we didnt regret that we tried it here :) thumbs up to their tender and juicy meat, am not really a meat lover but will definitely go back :)
Good food that comes in affordable prices
They have a big serving perfect for sharing and the ambiance is also relaxing. Their service was awesome and you'll feel that you're at home :)
We originally planned to eat somewhere else but we were caught in really bad traffic and BFF was super hungry already. So, we just looked around (literally) and chose one restaurant that looked okay for us. It’s our first time to eat at Tender Bob’s.
Since it was not really a splurge night for me and BFF—it was just a regular dinner (though every meal together is special for us!)—we decided to order the Ribeye Steak (Domestic) in Hungry size (5 oz.) with java rice and pepper sauce, and the Baby Back Ribs in Hungry size with java rice. Both dishes were served with buttered vegetables and corn. There are also 3 types of sauces available at the table: Tender Bob’s Steak Sauce, Tender Bob’s Barbecue Sauce, and Caramba Habanero Pepper Sauce. Portions were just right for one person. The java rice was good, the buttered vegetables and corn were okay.
Ribeye Steak (Domestic). We ordered our steak to be well-done but it was more of the medium to medium-well when they served it. The meat was still reddish but it was good that it wasn’t “bloody” because I don’t like that taste. The meat was fresh, tasty and juicy. On the tenderness aspect, you would need a steak knife to cut through the steak and you’d need to cut it into bite size pieces so it won’t be chewy. I’m not sure if it was because of the “well-done-ness” of the cooking but I always order well-done steaks and I have tried some that are really tender despite being well-done. The pepper sauce was too hot for my liking—too much pepper perhaps? I asked for the pepper sauce because I loved the pepper sauce of the Sky Deck at the Bayleaf Hotel and I’m tired of the mushroom gravy taste. Don’t get this sauce for kids. I tried their steak sauce but it was too tangy for my liking.
Baby Back Ribs. The dish was good, the meat was fall-off-the-bones tender. The sauce tasted good too. The only complaint I have is that there were dry areas of the meat. Overall, the dish was good.
The servers were friendly and attentive. The place was okay, though a bit cramped especially since there was a big group celebrating someone’s birthday. The price was okay though there are other establishments where you can have the same food at cheaper prices. (Stay tuned for our future adventures and reviews to learn what these places are! Wink wink!). Though, this may hold true only if you are ordering the “domestic” meat products. I haven’t tried their USDA beef and US ribs yet. So maybe we’ll come back on a splurge night that we crave for steaks or ribs and order the imported meat. LOL.
Overall, I’d give this place a 3.5/5.0.
Been here for a number of times and I can say my all-time fave to order here is their Pork Chops. For 260 pesos, you'll get 2 big pieces of grilled pork chops, sided with mashed potatoes, mixed veggies and gravy. Yummy really, not salty at all, but I remember there was a time the pork chops lacked tenderness compared to previous visit, good thing they had a good steak knife anyway!
Another dish that I tried here was their US Prime Ribeye Steak. Got it at medium rare as usual, Hungry size of 6 oz. for P800. The cut was big enough for 2, and really cheap compared to other steakhouses! So...if you love MEAT and craving for tender, juicy steaks at reasonable prices, then Tender Bob's is the right place for you! :)
Let me start by saying that I have been in love with Tender Bob's since the beginning of time.
It's my go to steak house along with Outback and House of Mini's. You know the safe bet when someone asks you where a good steak house is.
Moving on...
This all started when family from the US comes home and wants to eat out. They would sometimes prefer something close to home, so this is where we go. Of course we'll here the; it's not even close as the ones we got back home bit or it's so tinyyyyy!!! -They're just used to BIGGER servings. Anyway, but they're overall experience has been pretty good so far.
The serving size is... I'll go with just right. It's a choice of either 'hungry' or 'starving', depending on how many ounces the steak is. A choice of local and USDA meat. You have to be particular with how you want your steak cooked, sometimes I have to send mine back to the kitchen which happened a few times but they're all for customer satisfaction. The people are very friendly and the manager checks up on you during or after the mean to see if everything is up to your liking.
What I order every time i'm here is their Original Potato Skins. I totally totally loved the overpriced potato goodness. What irks me though at times is that it has changed little by little from the very first time I had it and I guess it differs from time to time. My theory is that they've made "improvements" but it also depends on who's cooking. It's still great though! Sometimes I get stuffed just by eating these and when my steak comes i'm already sort of full.
I'd definitely recommend this place to ya'll. It might be pricey but in my opinion it's worth it. I have never tried their dessert yet because I'm always so very stuffed after my steak and mashed potatoes. Maybe next time I'm here, I'll try it even though they're not really a dessert place.
The reason for giving it a 4.5 instead of a solid 5 is that of the potato skins cooking variations that I tend to hate and the occasional mess up on the steak. SERIOUSLY though try their Potato Skins. It's awesome!
Happy Eating and Happy Holidays everyone! :)

Why did my grand daughter choose Tender Bob because there place mat has a game to make her occupy. Our order of Medium Rare Rib eye has some parts that is tough especially at the litik parts but the meat part is really tender. The sauce is unlimited since my daughter advice that it is super delicious with the Angus Fried Rice. Since it's Christmas and it's air condition inside better to eat while it's hot or the oil will get cold
