Heavenly pork snow buns, I think I can eat this everyday. They are that good so don't skip this one if you chance upon Tuan Tuan.

The House Special Trio was so so, could do with more seasoning albeit the rice was cooked beautifully so I would still recommend you give it a try.

If you want a more genuine HK experience in the metro, come here. Distancing itself from the likes of Gloria Maris and Mann Hann, which are largely identified as sporting local Chinese favourites, you can expect Tuan Tuan to do a lot of things differently. Although I am unsure of Tuan Tuan's actual origins (as it claims to come from a lot of places based on their menu), it does have a lot popular dishes that you can find in HK and Vancouver that I'm totally pleased they offer.

I will stay away from their noodle soup however (too pricey and they skimp out on the contents) but I highly recommend their fried turnip cakes, lemongrass chicken, beef curry, and baked rice. These dishes might just change how you see chinese food.

Tuan Tuan has a lot of great food selections to offer but we come back often for their nai cha! It’s always the ever reliable nai cha (hot) and I’d say it’s hard to top this one. 👍🏻

I'm willing to overlook long wait times in exchange for great food. And this is it for Tuan Tuan. The place was obviously undermanned when we were there. But the amazing combination of flavors and textures, looked good too for boneless chicken, sweet and sour balsamic ribs, congee and buns more than made up for it.

My favorite here is the honey garlic spareribs. No other restaurants can do this style of cooking. It was my favorite back in vancouver and i couldnt find any restaurant that serves it here until tuan tuan opened. They have good baked pork buns and duck buns too. I love their custard buns.

Their baked rice dishes are good. Also noodles congee and curry.

Tuan Tuan is your example of a modern concept restaurant, combining two cultures in one roof. They have the French vibe and serve mostly Chinese cuisines.

They are an ideal spot to dine-in for any part of your day. I had visited in Tuan Tuan for lunch and dinner in their other branches. Here, I had a quick snack with a friend, sweet drinks paired with their savory sweet Pineapple Buns! It’s so good, have you had it?

I also glad I had their version of Mango Pomelo Sago combination. It had a good balance of sweet and sour tastes.

I have to say that I instantly fell in love. With Tuan Tuan because of the pork buns! Those were the best pork buns I've ever had. Its very taste and I love how soft the bun is as if I am biting a cotton. I also love the ambiance of the place. Its quite bright and spacious. The service is okay, and the other dish we ordered tastes good as well. Looking forward for more pork buns!

TuanTuan is not your typical Chinese restaurant that serves usual round table chinese food. They serve HK Comfort Food with a French Flair. I like how modern and classy it looks without making you feel intimidated by the ambiance.
My boyfriend brought me here and was hyping about their Pork Buns, and I love Pork Buns so I just had to go here and try theirs. 👌

🍲🍲🍲

Crispy Pork Bbq Snow Buns P148 💛
I can say that this goes on top of my list. It is definitely the BEST pork buns for me, better than Tim Ho Wans. For P148 you get three giant snow buns which I find so worth it cause the serving is definitely bigger. The filling is less sweet and has the perfect savory sweet taste. Hindi nakakaumay. The outer layer has a crispy light texture contrasting the softness of the pork inside.
I stopped craving for Tim Ho Wan's pork buns after this. Ito na talaga yung madalas ko icrave after!!! So yummy!

Signature Halibut Soup P398
(Original Fish Soup)
Light, milky, and distinct flavor from the Halibut fish that's been boiled for hours to achieve the silky consistency
➡️ This soup tastes so healthy. It reminds me of the hotpot place that I went to in Taiwan (Elixir Hotpot) feeling ko may healing abilities siya. It tasted a little herby, parang may ginseng yung lasa. The noodles is cooked al dente. The soup has a milky consistency which didn't bother me but it was hard to love at first cause I haven't tasted anything like it before.
It has coriander which made me loved it more as I sip on the soup. I didn't fell in love with it right away, I don't think this is for everybody.

House Special Trio P428
(Baked Seafood, Wild Mushroom, Porkchop) on Rice
This is like a pinalevel up yang chow fried rice. It has my fave would be the wild mushroom in pesto. The aroma and strong pesto taste boosted my appetite, I just wish there were more toppings than rice cause nakakaumay na siya in the end. Carbs overload.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hong Kong Style Coffee P90
Nai Cha (Cantonese Milk Tea) P90
🍵 They have the most authentic HK Milk Tea I've tried. They use the ingredients that only the most reputable masters in HK use - the famous Black and White Milk. Light, creamy consistency and subtle sweetness - they have everything that makes a good milk tea.

This is a long overdue review.

Ambiance - Even though the place is open, the atmosphere is still great for conversing with your companion.

House Special Trio (Baked Seafood/Wild Mushroom/Porkchop) on Rice (PHP 428)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I believe this was 75% rice. It didn’t have a lot of meat and the picture on the menu was definitely misleading. I recommend this for first timers though.

US Premium Beef Rib and Tendon Curry (PHP 488)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really like their curry. I keep coming back for more. The plain rice that comes with it is essential to the whole experience haha. Even though I was already stuffed with rice, I couldn’t eat the curry alone and have the same level of satisfaction. All in all, I was already very contented with my order, but I’ve been hearing that the Shrimp Curry is the best so i’ll probably opt for that next time.

Hopefully, I’ll be back to write another review soon.

Tuan Tuan serves reasonably priced tasty dishes. Everything was good. 😋 This visit, we had the Baked Seafood with Cheese on Rice, US Premium Beef Rib & Tendon Curry, Pan Fried White Turnip Cake in XO Sauce, Honey Garlic Spareribs and Deep Fried Mantou with Condensed Milk for dessert. 👍🏼👍🏼 The Iced Nai Cha (Cantonese Milk Tea) was 👌🏼 too. Don’t forget to ask for extra XO sauce (aka their version of chili garlic). There are other delicious dishes but we were only 3 girls so we had to stop ordering. 😂 Their laksa, fried noodles and pan fried halibut are good too.

TUAN TUAN @ Greenhills, San Juan

Food Taste: 5/5
Food Serving Size: 4/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 5/5

A saturdate it is, we checked in this restaurant around 12:30 pm because the place is not crowded and it is our first time here too. But few minutes more and the restaurant is already full...

We waited for around 15-20 mins for our food to be served.

Since I like congee, I tried ordering the OYSTER CONGEE with CENTURY EGG, but unfortunately it was not available because there was no delivery (since its holy week).

instead, I order PORK CONGEE W/ CENTURY EGG which I will give 4/5. The congee is so fine, can't even find any grain of rice, it looks like baby's food ahahah. The slice of pork is a little bit big and chuncky. There's nothing especial about the taste of the congee, but its texture and serving size made me say wow.

We also ordered CHICKEN CURRY with rice that would be 4/5. The consistency of the curry sauce is so thick and savory. Serving size is big, this meal could fit for two persons, thus the pricing is not bad.

Next is the SALTED EGG PRAWNS and its a 4/5 too, quite pricey for a serving size of like 10pcs  prawns priced at Php 499? The taste of salted egg is just right, not too salty and it complimented the prawn flavor, the prawn is quite rubbery though.

I also ordered cold NAI CHA for a 4/5 rating, the milk kind of overpowered the tea, I was expecting to taste the tea more. They should upgrade the serving size so customers could enjoy it more.

I really enjoyed our meal here and its up to you to try.

Food - 3.5/5
Service - 4/5
Ambiance - 4/5

This was actually our 2nd time eating here. The first time we ate here we didn't really liked the food we ordered. So everytime we went to gh this wasn't one of my options. But I'm glad we tried eating here again and got a better experience. :)

Recommended:
- Crispy minced duck snow buns (P188)
- Steamed Chicken with mushroom rice (P228): I thought it would be chicken on top of a mushroom rice but it's chicken and mushroom on rice! 😅 very simple and clean dish. They pour a sauce on top after serving which gives it more flavor. It's kinda similar to the rice dishes in Tim Ho Wan but serving size is definitely bigger.
- fried prawn dumpling (add on, P188): although the wrapper is a bit thicker than we wanted, I really liked the prawn filling in the dumpling.

Not recommended:
- Baked seafood with cheese on rice (P388): this was the one I ordered on our first visit

Their food is a bit on the pricier side.

Giving their service 4 out of 5, because I requested for warm water and it was correctly refilled everytime.

Would recommend this place and eat here again.

Few days before year 2017 will bid goodbye. My friend from Cebu (visiting Manila) and I decided to have an early dinner at Tuantuan Chinese Brasserie in Promenade, Greenhills.

We order the bestseller Laksa combo set of the restuarant for Php568.00 it comes with Vietnam Egg Rolls and Cantonese Lemon Tea paired with 3 pcs Pork Barbecue Snow Bun for Php148.00.

🐷 Laksa - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

🐷 Vietnam Egg Roll - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

🐷 Pork Barbecu Snow Bun - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

Every dishes we had were really tasty and great. I was satisfied with my craving for Laksa Noodle Soup, one of the best Laksa place in the Metro. Pork Barbecue Snow Bun was consistent in terms of taste and flavor. The Pork Barbecue Snow Bun blends well with the strong flavor of Laksa.

Ordered the Watercress and Almond Halibut Noodle Soup. Broth is light, but very flavorful; the taste of the halibut was bright and clear. The taste of almond is light, but detectable. Delicious!

This is one of the places where you can get authentic tasting HK-style milk tea. Be sure to order it hot and with no sugar (or on the side) else your drink will end up too sweet.

Place looked nice and clean and the service was good. Price is a bit on the high side, but worth it.

Pleasantly surprised by our visit to Tuan Tuan. Service was on point and the waitstaff was very attentive...well above average.

Food was well prepared and well presented. Nice, clean flavors which we found comforting, like a big-hug from your Macanese Lola. Excellent char-shu pao, with a flaky crust and just the right amount of sweetness. The shrimp with salted egg yolk was expertly done. Shrimp had the perfect amount of "snap" with just the right amount of breading, though it could've used more salted egg flavor. Spare ribs had a nice, not overtly sweet twang and were very flavorful. Seafood noodles were just ok...I expected more. I found the string beans with garlic tastier.

Definitely going back!

Tried the pork buns and it was good. Nice crunch on the dough outside yet still soft when you bite into it. The filling could use a bit more flavor but still worth it.

The laksa was great! Still love the singaporean laksa in the hawker centers in SG but this beats the ones here in PH.

Porkchop that comes with soup is good. Try their version of milk tea sorry forgot the name. Spent P1200 for 2 pax with 3pcs pork bun 2 soup bowls and 2 drinks.

The soup can be shared fyi. Its pretty big for 1 person.

It was my first time to try Tuan Tuan the other night I really enjoyed it. I don't have much to say about the quality of their food and service, but it's just that the price for a bowl of noodles is a little expensive than most restaurants. It's not a place where you can eat in every week, unless you have loads of cash to spend. I also love the idea of creating your own noodle bowl, gives me more freedoms to choose the toppings that I like.

Laksa- it was very tasty, but it wasn't spicy enough for me so I had to ask for extra chili - no big deal! It is indeed one of the best laksa around town (second to Eat Fresh).

Salted Egg Snow buns- I really enjoyed the sweetness of it, however it's better eaten as a dessert for me as it didn't compliment the rest of my orders. Just be careful, this was served REALLY hot!

Salted egg prawns- I think this is one of my favorites here, the crispy batter and not-so-overpowering salted egg sauce was perfect. Again, pricey but worth the try.

Overall, a great dining experience and would definitely come back!

I always look forward to the weekend because this was the only time of the week where both of us ( Me and my Mom ) are not busy with work.

So today, after Church we where out to look for another resto where we could eat! But since it rained, our choice was just to pick a resto within the mall.

Tuan Tuan will always be a great choice: They have delicious food, affordable and generous in serving ( Good for Sharing ).

One of the highlights of the Tuan Tuan menu is the customize-your-own Tuan Tuan Noodle Soup Set.

I picked their Malay laksa soup, then added sliced beef brisket and Wonton dimsum for the 2 toppings and fresh ramen noodles. Along with that we also ordered their salted egg prawns which was one of my all time fav. last, we had Jasmine Tea to complete the meal.

We loved Tuan Tuan! One of the authentic Chinese restaurants that I know that provides good food and a high end yet youthful ambiance.

Tuan Tuan is one of our favorite restaurants for their amazing pork buns, salted egg custard buns and laksa. We ordered salted egg buns, laksa combo set, pork and century egg congee, halibut belly congee, chiu chow porridge.

The salted egg custard buns tasted better the first time we tried it at megamall, but they were still good. We just felt that it was lacking something like more salted egg.

The laksa combo set was very filling and it's still as delicious as before. The toppings of the laksa were also served generously. The toppings include prawns, tofu skin, cabbage, etc.). Cuttle fish wasn't available that day, so we decided to put prawns instead. My sister loved the prawns in the laksa and said that they were juicy and fresh. Their laksa is definetely one of the best in Manila. Consistent with their quality, I still love the fried fish fillet that was included in this set. The batter was light and crispy and not very oily. Nai cha is also one of Tuan Tuan's specialty. It had the perfect balance of tea and milk.

Chauchou style rice rice porridge with oyster (P 168) this was just a so-so dish. It tasted like a typical Chinese fish soup. I imagined it to be served to our old Chinese relatives. It wasn't too fishy and had the right balance of Chinese herbs but we didn't really enjoy this dish. It's something we won't order again.

I wasn't able to taste the pork and century egg congee (P 168) but my mom enjoyed this dish.

Since Tuan Tuan has a lot of halibut belly dishes, I decided to against my usual Tuan Tuan  laksa order and order the halibut belly congee (P 258, the one in the picture) instead. I have never tried halibut belly or any halibut dish, so I don't actually know what it should taste like. I can say that Tuan Tuan serves good congee. The congee was served hot with a drizzle of sesame oil and a few spring onions, 3 or 4 slices of halibut belly. There was also a plate of yutiao served together with the congee. The youtiao (chinese fried dough)  were not that flavorful and were kinda chewy but were edible once dipped in the congee. I also liked the fact that the yutiao was not that oily

Tip: you can ask for xo sauce if you want an additional spicy kick to your congee. Their xo sauce was quite good. I asked for 2 refills of xo sauce.

Price: 3/5 some dishes are pricey but they have a generous serving size and they serve good quality food.
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5 fast service since there were only 3 tables filled on a Thursday evening.

It is indeed the advent of Chinese restaurant chains blossoming in the metro , one of which is the new Tuan Tuan restaurant , I saw this first in Megamall , it was beside Ippudo .. But we visited their branch in Greenhills , the design and feel of this branch is somewhat Italian to me , the chairs were similar to that of the famous cafe you see on the streets of Venice..
We tried the following , milk tea , chicken wings, Laksa ,sliced cuttlefish noodles , pork buns and mango sago :) what I loved - pork buns , chicken wings and milk tea
I'm not loving the laksa noodles , the soup was quite heavy for me , in some way it masked the spicy flavor of the soup.. price point is quite expensive for two persons we paid about 1,600+
Will try other tuantuan original dishes when we go back.

I ordered the US Angus Steak with Black Pepper and Mushroom sauce, and it's not something I would order again. The meat was tender but the sauce had an off taste.

We shared the Honey Garlic Spareribs and Honey Garlic Wings, these were the best from our list of orders. The snow buns are also good, very comparable to Tim Ho Wan, but on a sweeter side.

I am not a fan of their fish congee and their noodles with fish soup base, they were just okay. It was something I could eat if I was really hungry.

The service of the staff was not okay, took a long time to ask for water. However, their manager was really accommodating and easy to talk to.

I just don't get the idea on removing the fat from the Pork Chops.

Fried Squid Head was good with the dip served on the side.

The Pork Buns? I give Tim Ho Wan the slight edge.

Tuan Tuan at the Promenade Greenhills offers a breath of fresh (Chinese kitchen) air to the old location of a Japanese tonkatsu place.

Their Macanese (Macau cuisine) style dishes are kinda hit-and-miss. Get the Macau-style Cajun Chicken Fillet if your up for something spicy or the House special Trio (Baked seafood/Wild mushroom/Pork chop) if you can't make up your mind or tummy.

The steamed halibut belly with chili garlic is also a favorite aside from those nice toasty (pork) buns which I'd love to sink my teeth into. Gnarl!!!

This review is only for their pork buns. It was a delight to eat. It's not as sweet compared to timhowan's version and the bun itself I can eat even without the filling, it's that good! A marriage of French brasserie and Hong Kong style cuisine, Tuan Tuan burst into the food scene with its own signatue pork buns, and then some.

Hyped as an East meets West joint, the Asian flavors dominate the scene though. Still, there's more than just pork buns here.

Highs:
1. Crispy barbecued pork buns: a head-on collision against the more famous Tim Ho Wan version, this version, at least locally, trumps the former. More rewarding with more pork filling. Less airy, yet the dough is crisp, with a light powdery sweetness. Highly addicting. IMHO, the top bun in our country.

2. Radish Cake: A favorite of mine back in SG, but this version is superb. The exterior is crisp and fried flawlessly. The interior is smooth and tender, surpringly flavorful even without any chili dip.

3. Pan fried halibut: Fried in light soy, the fresh flavors of the halibut are not overshadowed. Briny but not gamey, the fish is served firm and crisp on the exterior. Works well even without any dip.

Lows:
1. Prawn curry: The gravy was too thick, smothering the otherwise minuscule prawns, or rather shrimps. Despite the bursting flavor of the curry sauce, the contents were rather lacking and underwhelming.

2. Honey Garlic Spareribs: A staple in most Chinese shops, but this version was a tad too sweet and a bit boring in flavor. The meat was a bit tough also.

3. Peanut Noodle Soup: Not a fan of noodles, and neither of watered down kare-kare flavor. Nutty flavor but too dilute. The noodles were all right though. Should have tried the laksa soup base instead.

Tuan Tuan is proud of their own signature buns (which actually comes in other flavors), but there are more sure hits in this restaurant. Prices are reasonable for the wealth of flavor their dishes offer. It is a good option for those looking for something beyond the usual.

Came here with my family to celebrate cny. We ordered the bbq pork snow buns, original fish soup with squid balls and mini xlb, chicken fillet curry, honey garlic chicken wings and house special trio. Yum yum yum! I think this time we ordered the right food. Fish soup was good and didnt have that fishy taste but there wasnt anything inside the mini xlb. 1 order of Pork snow buns took almost an hour to serve..they said they had some problems in the kitchen. When it came out it was piping hot and so worth the wait. The buns have the right balance of soft and crispy, the pork was good though lacked the distinct flavor of the duck. We also ordered the duck snow buns but they were either not available or sold out (at 12nn!!). The chicken curry was delish, but i wish it was spicier and had more chicken and less potato. Honey garlic wings is still so good both kids and adults (even my mom) loved this! The house special (baked seafood, wild mushroom, pork chop) looked a bit and tasted a bit messy coz the different sauces got mixed up but who cares, everything tasted great! The shrimps were big, i didnt taste any mushroom, pork chop tasted well with the tomato sauce.. reminded me of breakfasts in macau. Overall everyone was happy with the food!

I found the covering of the barbecued pork buns too soft and bread-like, and the honey garlic chicken wings too bland. The only dish that I liked was the House Special Trio. It contained three different rice toppings in one dish: baked seafood in white sauce, wild mushroom in pesto sauce, and pork chop in tomato sauce. It’s perfect for those people who love variety.

One aspect about this restaurant that really stood out was their customer service – it was horrible. We had to wait for a really long time to get a table, and after being seated, it took them so long to serve the food we ordered. Later on, the server went up to us and said that she forgot to inform us that the pork buns will take thirty minutes to be ready. We thought that was the end of it, but unfortunately not. We had to wait for quite some time to be given tissue and water. We paid through credit card and when we followed up, that was only the time when the cashier started processing our payment. Because of their extremely slow service, I’m considering not coming back here.

This Chinese style brasserie has really really good Thai Iced Tea! Surprise of the day for me!😄

It was our first time at any of the three branches of TuanTuan in the metro. We arrived pretty early for lunch so we didn't have to wait in line. I enjoyed the atmosphere immediately, very relaxed yet sophisticated at the same time. We really didn't know what to order, save for their Snowy Pork Buns...

We ended up ordering the following:

Snowy Pork Buns-- These are soooo good, I dare say better than THW! 😍 I loved the soft and flaky bun and the mixture of sweet and savory filling. Very tender pork inside. I really enjoyed it!

Pork Ball Congee-- I guess I'm not much of a congee person, so is the bf. Served piping hot with fried curlers, we both thought it was just okay.

House Specialty Trio-- baked seafood, wild mushroom and porkchop on top of rice. Each of the three was mixed with it's own sauce, so it was color-coded on the plate. This dish was made to be shared btw! Hopefully we knew that before we over ordered. But it was okay, we both did not like the seafood portion of this dish, thus that part was left half eaten. Pretty good actually and very filling!

Thai Iced Tea-- they didn't have a carafe available when we visited. But this is sooooo good! Better than Jatujak's version (a Thai restaurant, what are the odds?!), not too sweet with a pronounced aftertaste of tea. Would definitely order this again, but I'm pretty curious about their Horlicks drink. I haven't found one in the Phil that is rave and crave worthy! Looking forward to trying it soon!😊

Service was fast and efficient for this branch. The staff were nice enough and patient.

Happy with our visit!😊

TuanTuan Chinese Brasserie is now on its 3rd branch in Metro Manila, the newest of which is in Promenade, Greenhills. It has a Chinese-French and Macanese menu serving noodle soup, Chinese curry, congee and other favorites. Their specialty is the TuanTuan Signature Crispy Snow Bun (PHP 128), and the first time my teeth sunk into it, I immediately understood why. It was baked to a golden crisp with a sweet, flaky crust and a pillow-soft bun. It just became my #1 favorite Char Siew Bao, with Tim Ho Wan‘s as my #2.

In celebration of my brother’s birthday, we had dinner here and ordered the following: Crispy BBQ Pork Snow Buns, XO Radish Cake, Halibut Noodle Soup, Laksa Noodle Soup, US Premium Beef Rib and Tendon Curry, Honey Garlic Spareribs, Baked Pork Chop on Rice with Honey Tomato Bacon Sauce, Baked Seafood on Rice with Bernaise Sauce and Fried “Black and White” Milk Bread.

My all-time Tuan Tuan favourites are their Beef Rib and Tendon Curry, Honey Garlic Spareribs, and Laksa Noodle Soup. While each have their own favourites, these three dishes seem to be in everyone’s list too. What’s there not to like? The beef and tendon were very soft and they were smothered by a creamy curry sauce. It’s served with white rice to fully appreciate the flavour but I normally ignore the rice and just go for the potatoes that’s cooked in it. I mash it up and spoon more sauce on it. As for the Honey Garlic Spareribs, it’s sweet, salty and citrusy.. the meat falls off the bone easily. You can’t stop at one piece. Order more. As for the Laksa Noodle Soup, this will make you feel warm and tingly all over. A sip of the soup will make you momentarily forget your troubles.

Light and crispy shell, pillowy soft interior, milky in taste, and filled with an assortment of fillings, Tuan Tuan’s Snow Buns are my favourite. We always order more to go so we can continue to enjoy it at home. The Halibut Noodle Soup has a clean but milky taste. It’s nutritious and I think that’s a type of fish soup they make us drink for clear skin or after surgery. The Baked Rice are Macanese-style but it does not come close to the ones I’ve eaten in Macau. It lacks texture and flavour. It also has a lot to do with the rice they use. As for the Fried “Black and White” Milk bread, I like that it’s sprinkled with peanuts, not so with the sugar. It’s not oily and is something nice to snack on or as a dessert alternative.

The seating area is smaller than the SM Megamall branch. An advantage of dining here, however, is that it is near the side entrance of Promenade. It is easier to get in, dine and leave as compared to the Megamall branch wherein you have to wait a long time for the elevator and get squished on the way up or down. If dining on my own or with the younger crowd, I will still go to the Megamall branch. But if I’m dining with my grandparents, this branch is better suited for them.

Our servers were very patient and efficient. Will definitely dine here again.

TuanTuan has opened its third branch in Promenade Greenhills.

For starters, we had the  Crispy Barbecued Pork Snow Buns. Served fresh from the oven, the Barbecued Pork Snow Buns have the crunchy white buns with sweet and tender barbecued pork. This is the best pork buns I've tried so far, and I regret that we ordered just one serving. Note to self: order more of these next time!

We tried one of the Specialty Noodle Soup Combos, the Elixir Herbal Soup with Sliced Chicken, Fish Puff with Drink. They replaced the Taiwan Pechay with mushrooms during our visit. I liked the taste of the broth, but it wasn't something I would crave for. I will go for the Halibut Soup next time.

We also had the ala carte dishes: the Honey Garlic Spareribs and Steamed Halibut Belly with Light Soy Sauce. I was impressed with the Honey Garlic Spareribs. The serving was more generous than what I'm used to, and the sweetness and the garlicky taste is well-balanced. I highly recommend this dish

We also had the House Special Trio, three of the most popular Macanese dishes they served in TuanTuan in one dish.

Overall, I was impressed with TuanTuan's delicious Chinese dishes. I can't wait to try more dishes (and the desserts) on my next visit.

I finally got to eat at the much talked about Tuan Tuan. Each time I tried eating at megamall, it was always full. But I have tried their pork buns before from generous takeout by my other family members.

This branch is very accessible from my home (which is good).

The service was acceptable and preparation of the food was quite fast. It took them a while to get us the bill though. I'm not sure why.

We loved the honey garlic spareribs. Awesome glazing and not so fatty as well.

The laksa was okay, the squid meat was tender, the tofu skin had a nice texture and the soup was prepared just right. The noodles though were disappointing. They were hofun (flat) noodles and they were too chewy. Despite a moderate time chewing, you will notice that the noodles are still not chewed properly in your mouth. This can easily cause indigestion which I am prone too.

The beef (rib) curry was good and the beef itself quite tender. I would have preferred a spicier curry sauce but I think they are leaning towards the yellow thai curry style cooking.

overall a good restaurant and I would definitely be back to try their other dishes.
