Mom and Tina's is one of my go-to places whenever I crave for comfort food. Today I decided to go for some dessert - - nothing heavy so I chose one of their marshmallow frosting cupcakes. It has the right amount of indulgence, not too sweet but hits the spot. I I love marshmallow frosting and this was heaven in a bite. The candy sprinkles added a bit of crunch.
Service was okay, they put my cupcake in a takeout box to preserve the form. Overall a good experience.
Been a couple of months since we last visited. As expected, food is perfect. Staff is great. Im coming back for more.
Looking for a casual, Filipino-style breakfast place? Mom and Tina's is the answer!
Our orders:
πΈPancakes and sausages
πΈBeef tapa
πΈTocino
πΈLengua
The rice is not too garlicky, and the eggs run upon slicing them in the middle.
The Lengua dish in particular is a must-try!
Absolutely love their pastries and comfort food. Beings you home cooked food prepared in a very elegant way. Not to mention the ambiance is very ig worthy and servers are very attentive
After a week of eating healthy, my husband and I look forward to indulging on weekends. I was delighted to see fresh biscuits on the menu. I don't see this often so I made my decision to have it - simple in its taste but at the same time rich when paired with butter and jam. It came fresh and warm, as I anticipated πI ordered a side of crispy bacon which went perfectly with the biscuits.π My husband had their Tapa and Eggs which looked like bacon but tasted like tapa! You can never go wrong with this meal if you want a hearty breakfast. The plate was clean within minutes π We rounded everything up with their strong americano. What a perfect way to start the weekend πππ
Have you tried their baked oreo cheesecake? You should!! It's so good, it instantly became my favorite! They have great coffee as well and we love trying out the mini pastries they offer. π Love this branch, they have couch areas which makes you feel right at home.
We celebrated my Daughter's Christening party at Mom and Tina's O Square Greenhills Branch. The Team was great and party was hitch free. Excellent food. Thank you again Mom and Tina's Team.

The beauty of this modest establishment is the fact you can go here anytime and it still feels like they have exactly what you want. Breakfast? Waffles and pancakes. Rice meals for lunch and dinner. And if you do have dinner at another place, please stop by here for coffee and dessert. Oreo cheesecake. Sinfully good. I would like to thank mom and tinas for 2 extra pounds because of this. :)

I like the politeness of their staffs and they are so accommodating. Their Brazo de Mercedes is the best brazo I ever had! I like the cheesiness of the chicken macaroni ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½
First time to dine in this place and at first bite I know I will be back for more!
Ordered chicken and chips, fish and chips amd chuck steak. All did not disappoint!
The chuck steak was full of flavor and cooked perfectly.

One of the mantras I always try to follow is to never shop hungry. For one thing, experiencing hunger pangs might distract me from getting the best deal and I might end up just settling. On the other hand, hunger makes me a bit grumpy and I might snap at a hapless salesperson. In a recent foray with Hubby at Greenhills Shopping Center (where I did not snap at anyone, hapless or otherwise), I chanced upon this Mom & Tinaβs branch near the newly renovated Unimart.
I guess every branch of this resto is really great! Iβve been to all their branches and the service and food are always excellent. The staffs are so accommodating and attentive. The only negative that i could comment is that they should expand their space to accommodate more customers in the future.
I feel that the servings have become too small. I donβt remember it this way before. The empanada is good. The grilled sausage was above average I mean it doesnβt taste fast-foody. I tried my kidβs waffle and I must say I was mildly surprised. Fluffy and tasty and not too sweet.

Ate here awhile ago, i ordered beef stroganoff, it was kinda insipid for me, im just expecting more on the pasta tagliatelle to be exact, i think it was homemade i just thought it would be al dente , but i had it more of... melt in your mouth kind of pasta, the beef is tender tho, Then i had over iced vanilla latte, nothing special just the typical espresso-milk-syrup taste, and i also tried their rvcupcake, and it was moist!! Very dense and just the right amount of sweetness from the cream cheese frosting, ow how i wish they had a whole cake of rv :)
Come on guys what do you expect? It's mom and tina's, it's like eating at home except your mom can actually cook! It's an always warm and welcoming restaurant that never fails to deliver.
We had the Smoke Bangus, Tocino & Egg, Beef Stew, Fish & Chips, Burger, and French Apple Tart.Β The food was good.Β The Beef Stew could be shared by 2.Β The Smoke Bangus was had a nice smokey taste paired with garlic rice.Β The Burger came out expensive to its size.Β The Apple Tart was very good and excellent with coffee.Β Servers were efficient and friendly.Β Price is average, except for the burger.
Their place is so sunny and we love to have breakfast here before Sunday mass. Though the food is a bit expensive, their serving is big naman. I also like to feast my eyes with all those baked goodies inside their transparent shelves while we eat. But the main selling point is really the place. It has a homey feel in it.
Came here to have some dessert. I do have a sweet tooth!
Surprisingly, this place is pretty jam packed. We had to wait a few minutes before we had seats inside.
Meanwhile, I browsed their dessert display while waiting for our table. They have so much to choose from. The last time I dined at Mom's and Tina's ( along Katipunan) they didn't have as much to choose from. Now, they have frozen treats, baked treats like cookies, cupcakes, bars and so much more. The nice thing is, these are all affordable.
I went for their Mocha Cupcake with Buttercream frosting php65 and their Chocolate Chip Butterscotch Bar php 35.
The mocha cupcake was not too sweet and I really did enjoy it. The mocha flavor was just light and not overpowering at all. The butterscotch bar was not too sweet as well. Felt like I was eating a cereal treat bar, I really like that it came with nuts. Kakabitin though cause the serving of this was a bit small.
Service wise, orders came in quick of course especially since all were already baked and ready to go. But, I found it hard to call their staff's attention especially where I was seated at ( the corner and back )
I would surely come back to try their other goodies and dishes.
We were heading to the parking lot when I spotted Mom & Tina's. Since we just had our lunch, we only had coffee and dessert here.
We tried their..
- brownie : At 36 pesos per piece, I think it's very affordable and worth it. It's not too sweet and I love the huge chocolate chunks incorporated in their brownies haha π
- butterscotch brownie: same price. It was good but I prefer their chocolate brownie.
- baked oreo cheesecake : not sure what it's called but I think we got this one hehe. Again, not too sweet and I like the chocolate that's on top of the cake.
The place has a really homey feel. Service is nice here too. π
I've always had a particular bias in favor of these all day breakfast type places, those that feel a bit like home but professionally styled, as if you were at some decent sized bed and breakfast place in a town in Western Europe.π Though Mom and Tina's still fits in this category, their latest branch has more aplomb to it, owing perhaps to its size and much success since its first two branches in Libis and Perea, Makati. This, according to research online, is its 5th branch. I've been to all 5 branches after this visit, by the way. They added some retro-looking paper placemats to their settings, made some furniture more modern yet some of the place looks rustic and feels pleasantly familiar.
Mom & Tina's, at a Glance:
> Food & Beverage : πππππ
> Service (Dine-In) : πππππ (one of their waiters at Makati branch recognized me. He looked to be a supervisor or higher here now. Good job, man! Great service that day too.)
> Kitchen Service : πππππ (only based on the delivery of coffee as we didn't order anything from their extensive lunch menu)
> Ambience : πππππ (great aircon, new but no less welcoming nor rustic feel)
> Value for Money : πππππ

> Worth a try - Yes
> Worth a return - Absolutely! When I or my wife and I visit our folks in this area.
> TIPS: they have great meals from which you can choose, among them, chicken BBQ, callos, ox tongue, roast beef, shrimp sandwich, beef Brisket (beef in sauce), etc. Oh and their kakaibang Beef Tapa that's thin and cooked like crunchy bacon. Awesome stuff. Oooh, and do try their very good fried potato chips on the side. Or you can order it as a side. For dessert, so many choices, you'd get confused. Ask them what they suggest but also go with your gut. If their suggestion match your first instinct then you're in luck. Plus you can shop or run your electronic errands in Greenhills after! There's either stairs or an elevator to use, as this is at the 2/F. There's a Starbucks beside it and Wildflour at the bottom, plus more restos soon to open.
> VERDICT: one of my favorite all bay breakfast and comfort food places, Mom & Tina's now has a branch in between Makati and QC, so San Juan and central QC folks can now enjoy this great place. It's more affordable and, dare I say, less airy (read: pretentious) than Wildflour. No offense. Just my opinion. π

Balance of my review:
We headed here for dessert and coffee after a most satisfying lunch at the closing (or re-locating) Kimpura on Father's Day last month. The O Square is a new development at the corner of Greenhills Shopping complex at the corner of Ortigas Ave and Annapolis. There's open parking beside it, but I prefer the covered car park on top of the newly opened Unimart along Annapolis.
So I ordered iced coffee (choice of plain black, or add flavor like caramel, hazelnut and I forget the third... This time I ordered caramel). Hmmm perfect on a sunny and hot afternoon. 5/5
For dessert, I picked Mini Maple Walnut Pie at around P100+. Good find, as I would usually order brazo de mercedes, or Toblerone pie or Blueberry Cheesecake or Banoffee which are all quite good. But I don't recall ever ordering this. They have a great range of dessert choices, from cakes to cupcakes, pies, cookies, etc. The Walnut Pie was a HIT! Great toasty top and nice sticky Walnut filling and very good pie crust. Good size, too. 5/5
solid place to get gourmet food in a predominantly chinese restaurant area. mom and tina is slowly expanding with more and accesible branches to people. a nive country style setup with casual western food at decent pricing.
Went here for a gathering of friends on a weekday and it was packed. The place itself was quite tight with all the people in there but the interior helps to lessen the tightness with its well lit and light shaded decor. We got to try their pesto and spaghetti and some waffles and chicken. All in all it's not bad but it's not GREAT. The spaghetti was small. The meals were served with garlic bread rolls that helped a lot in satisfying my hunger... for like the next 20 minutes. I'm not so sure about this place and the pricing is quite expensive for what you get. All in all, I'm not so keen on coming back but I'd give it another shot.
There is a new branch of Mom and Tina's in Greenhills so we tried it out. Once you walked inside, you will feel at home already. Its as if you are in your mother or grandmother's kitchen and dining. I love their combination of blue and white though.
Once you are here DO NOT MISS OUT on their US beef tapa. Thin slices of beef fried bacon style. With garlic rice and egg on the side. I can eat 2 orders of these. YUMMY!
We also ordered their chicken bbq. I have mixed emotions on this dish. I would still pick reyes bbq or Alex III or Aristocrat.
I ordered broccoli and cheese soup. It tastes a little bland but with a little salt, the dish is okay already.
I will definitely go back to try their other dish
