Love their food specially the ~don menu's my co-workers and I love to eat here every time we are craving japanese food. Everything is good with an exemption, not sure what's with the hanger steak ^_^.

Ung mga maki and aburi sushi nila da best din sa lahat ng panahong kumaen ako dito solid na solid. Pagsahod kakaen nga ulit ako dito. Eto ung kahit magisa ka lang kakaen, hindi awkward kase di mo na mamalayan un. Ung sous vide steak sobrang lambot eh tas ung tempura naman ang lutong kahit ulo at buntot makakaen mo na + unli rice. Solid ooma see you next sahod.
Really, really good food. Serving sizes look kinda small at first, but everything's actually quite satisfying. And delicious. Really attentive crew as well. I was surprised at first that our waiter wasn't writing our orders, so I was expecting that he might get something wrong, but lo and behold, he got everything right,
The best Hanger Steak! They have complimentary rice on all orders. 🙂

Recommended: Salmon Tataki (P325), Tempura Soft Shell Crab Maki (P335), Hanger Steak (P498), Ebi Tempura (P398 -7 pcs!!!). Also tried: Crowd Favorites Maki, Tori Karaage, Crispy Tako Maki. Not recommending their 299 Rice bowls, it was just meh. Dishes from their "Hot Plates" also comes with unli white rice! Food 5/5 | Value for Money 4.5/5 | Ambiance 4.5/5

Ooma will always be a crowd pleaser. This branch despite just being a sushi bar has all your favourites so don't let that keep you from coming. This japanese spot is far from traditional but that's not really what you come for. Their take on fusion cuisine, which uses the latest fad (truffle and to aburi everything) and mixes it with your favourite japanese dishes and flavours, hits all the right spots. Come here for the aburi makis, tempura, and their hanger steak.

Very good service! The waiters are so accommodating. There is one pa nga na very attentive para sa unli rice refill. Haha. Superb foodddd! Maki was like heaven in my mouth! All the perfect taste just melts in my mouth!
Ooma favorites are now available in GH. The Hanger Steak and Sushi Sampler never fails to satisfy. It is best-paired with Lychee yakult with an option to remove the pearls. There is a limited seating area and don’t be confused by the long line outside. It shares the same space with Manam.
Sushi is a must try! Loads of great choices there and you can't go wrong with them.
BUT
Don't forget to order the hanger steak as well! I only have two words to describe it: TENDER and JUICY

On the other hand, I thought their other dishes could be hit or miss sometimes. Personally, I didn't like the Kimchi dumplings and uni noodles but my friends loved it! Likewise, I found the hangar steak a bit gummy but that might be because I arrived 1hr late to dinner haha!
Overall, will definitely be back but damn, it's pretty pricey!

And I reached in Greenhills and still did not disappoint me. I really am particular with consistency and it amuses me that Ooma is very consistent. This is one of my favorite go to japanese places! I love al their rolls/ sushis. For me it really is very affordable and worth every peso. Good job Moment Group!

Went here for dinner during Easter Sunday. Had to wait in line for a table which I really didn’t want to, but the food was worth it! Had the maki platter, tempura & steak. All dishes were good. They weren’t the traditional dishes, but they got it right.
Maki platter - soy sauce is brushed on instead of you dunking the sushi so that you taste the food more.
Tempura - aside from the regular tempura sauce, they had 2 different cream sauces for you to try. Shrimps were long and crispy.
Steak - had chips on top, mixed with mushrooms and a sweet pumpkin purée that balanced out the saltiness perfectly.
Drinks - had the ripe mango shake twice because it was that good (summer heat had me thirsty). Wife had the strawberry shake which I tasted, but I prefer mango.

Ooma indeed oooommm ma.. yummy sushi . Japanese restaurant. Surely a hit with filipinos who loves japanase food. Go try their dishes. Crowd favorite must try dishes.
It’s my first time to dine at ooma and it definitely exceeded my expectation! Ordered mixed sushi, hangar steak (melts in your mouth steak), and buta kakuni (soft pork in gata sauce) which are just some of their best sellers. What’s more interesting is that they have a loyalty card that can give you up to 20% discount. Will definitely come back with this one!!
The service here is faster and better than their branch in Megamall. Since I was with someone who was trying out Ooma for the first time, I opted to order the Hanger Steak (Php 498) and the Soft Shell Crab Taco-Maki (Php 230). As expected, he loved it especially the latter. These dishes really are crowd-pleasers. Check out our review for Ooma's Megamall branch!

This is my top recommendation if you're in the mood for rolls. Nice location and ambiance. Since we went here for a late dinner, we didn't have to wait that long but if ever you have to, it's gonna be worth your while.
I realized my parents and I ordered for the same makis I had with a friend before: Oyster Aburi Maki and Salmon Belly, just because they're really oh so tasty! Ebi Tempura was filling. And by the way, hot service tea had to be requested.
Unique! A tasty twist on sushi. My favorite thus far is their spicy salmon aburi. I've tried it twice so far and it has never failed to impress my taste buds. I would definitely recommend. :)

Ooma is the place to go to if you’re looking for Japanese food with a twist. Never expect traditional Japanese way of preparing sushi and rice bowls when you dine here. Also part of the top Japanese restaurants in my book, but since they haven’t opened a branch in QC area, I seldom get to dine in Ooma. Now this San Juan branch is the nearest branch from our school so that’s a good thing right.
Ooma is famous for having special menu items in specific branches so being the foodie I am, I went with those special items. For this branch they have two in the rice bowl category and one (or two, sorry i forgot) in the aburi maki list. I tried one of each and overall both were a 4/5. I got the Pork and Squid Takoyaki Aburi Bowl and the Salmon Miso Maki.
PORK AND SQUID TAKOYAKI ABURI BOWL 4/5
Presentation was really nice, as usual. You get a bowl with a thin layer of Japanese vinegar rice with good cuts of pork and squid with thin bonito scrapes and spring onion. It was an enjoyable meal, the taste you’ll like if you’re a takoyaki fan.
SALMON MISO MAKI 3.5/5
This dish was an okay for me. Cannot match the usual aburi makis we love in Ooma. If you dont want to go adventurous go with this maki.

OOMA-GAHD I super love Ooma! We ordered the usual - Spicy Tuna Maki, Kani Salad and their Hanger Steak. I can finish a bowl of Kani Salad on my own but it's really good for 2 to 3 people. Everything was tasty, and worth every peso. It's also not on the pricey side. Delicious!

I liked the place and ambiance not So loud compared to other restaurant, first time to tried hanger steak, it was soooooo good, 4 kinds of maki in 1 order was so fantastic. One thing i would like to suggest is to provide normal chair and table, the high chair is not so comfy. Service was nice 👍🏼
Good food and awesome service. Tried the tempura soft shell crab maki and salmon miso. It was sooo good! Also tried the seaweed salad. It goes well with the ebi tempura. Would definitely recommend! 😄
Although the place can be a bit warm, the food and the service was amazing. We ordered the Crowd Favorites, Ebi Tempura and Hanger Steak which was quite nice. The experience we had with our server Paolo was the highlight of our dine. He guided us through the menu and he even recommends the best sellers and his personal favorites. Had the chance to try Ooma for the first time and I was quite moved by the food that they offer. We ordered the Pork and Squid takoyaki aburi bowl, Buta Kakuni and the Hanger steak. All of the items we ordered are perfect! Also, the service given to us by Paolo was great! He always make sure that we had all we need and he our teas never got empty. Last week me and my friends decided to ate at ooma greenhills, and we're surprised by the taste of the food, first we ordered the maki platter they call it ABURI MIXER, It is really special like our server Ailyn said that they specialized aburi makis, second we tried their aburi bowls as our server suggest it to us, and there you go it is really unique because the rice is cold but still it's delicious, etc. We will never forget the first time we dine there especially because of the very knowledgeable server that we had. Thank you! I will give you 5 star. Kudos and keep it up.
I dined at Ooma Greenhills and I will say that I'm definitely going back there, anytime! It was really such a cool place to dined in cos it is like a replica of some sushi bar restaurant in California. I really loved their Hanger Steak💯!! I was very impressed by the high standard of service more especially to the server named Ailyn who assigned in our table. She had the enthusiasm on giving all our needs and very responsible on doing her job! I really appreciated her for providing us an excellent service! 😌😊👌🏻

Very friendly and polite staff. Our water was refilled without asking. Complimentary tea was offered immediately. There was a bit of waiting time but the food was worth the wait.
First time Dining at Ooma. Started off with the sushi mixer. My wife and I enjoyed all of them, crispy, tasty and absolutely delicious! Then the chicken teriyaki, I have to say though the chicken was tender and tasty it lacked the teriyaki kick that I enjoy. It felt more of italian roast chicken then teriyaki but still good.
The hangry steak and ebi tempura came next. Let me start off with the Ebi. One of the best tempura’s I have tasted! It came with 3 different sauces so you dont get tired of tasting the same flavor.
The hangry steak made me wake up with enthusiasm due to the nice flavors and combinations of sweet and salty. Then the hint of Truffle.. loved it!
Had a great server names Jess! He was awesome and very knowledgeable. Would definitely eat here again.

Paolo our server was really what made our experience here superb! We’ve eaten in Ooma a couple of times but this by far was the best. I hope you get him as your server.
His recommendations were top notch. We got the sushi mixer which was 4 kinds of sushi (3pcs) each. Very worth it. Steak aburi maki and the kimchi prawn and enoki aburi maki were our favorites so get any mixer with those two.
Although we know the soft shell crab taco-maki was a best seller we’ve actually never tried it until we had it with the taco-mixer and it was so good that we ordered another of the soft shell crab taco-maki. So DON’T FORGET TO ORDER IT WHEN YOU DO.
A minor improvement would be, it would be great to have an actual photo menu. Although we appreciate the “digital menu”, it really helps people visualize the food more with photos especially if they are not familiar with the ingredients.
Overall, an unexpectedly great dine-in experience and we are already planning to come back to this very same branch! 😊
Ooma never fails to impress. Food is superb, the steak aburi maki is my favorite. Its nice that they offer maki sampler plates for variation. Prompt, friendly and attentive service by Paolo and Jess. Will definitely be back!

Had the chance to try their branch in Greenhills, as a first timer it was quite an amazing experience. Special thanks to Paolo for guiding us through their menu and recommending us the salmon tartare and salmon belly! Next time we would surely try the salmon aburi and the pork and squid takoyaki. 🤗
It was my second time in Ooma - first in Rockwell then in Greenhills. Well when I tried the uni udon in Rockwell it was flavourful, sad to say there is no udon in Greenhills, but I had amazing experienced with their maki’s and ambiance, relaxing and I felt that I’m in a bar (yeah sushi)because of their table and chair set up. Although their menu is a little limited, the food still tastes awesome. Plus a great service given by Pao. Although the food may be a bit delayed but it was worth the wait.
Husband and I ordered Pork and Squid Takoyakii Aburi Bowl and the carb free Salmon Belly Maki the first time we gone there. It was great. The maki is satisfying and light. The aburi was tasty and unique. I would need to check out the Salmon Aburi next time.
Also our waiter, Paul, is tedious and patient with us, newcomers. Good job man.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of Ooma most especially when they opened in Megamall. I took my boyfriend and family there. This branch though more specifically their menu was limited and the food selections wasn’t as good as their regular Ooma menu. They only had two rice bowls on their menu. My boyfriend, his sister and i were in the mood for rice meal.
Here’s what what we ordered:
Buta Kanuni (Php 370) roasted pork topped with pickled carrots, scallions, radish and coconut saw. Taste was ok but not worth price cause rice isn’t included. I ordered extra rice.
Chicken Teriyaki (Php 295) grilled chicken with salad on the side another dish without rice.
Salmon Aburi and Spicy Tuna (Php 365) torched salmon, tuna mixed rice in seasoning. This was probably a good idea to order but the buta caught my attention more.
Although they have less menu from the original Ooma Restaurants, food taste does not differ from the mothership. Service is excellent. Serving of food is fast and the attendants are very accomodating and efficient.
Great place to grab dinner. Place has great ambience. Food is superb and really good. Our server, Allan, was great. Plus unlimited complimentary rice! Overall a great place to eat your stress away!

Enjoyed some nice bonding time with my younger sister in their newly opened branch.
🍚 Salmon Aburi and Spicy Tuna: this Japanese-style poke bowl features a combination of diced Tuna and Salmon Sashimi atop some seasoned sushi rice. It includes some crunchy green apples, leeks, toasted nori seaweed and salty katsuboshi flakes. A garlicky aioli and ceviche dressing is poured over the whole mix to add creaminess and bind all the flavors together.
🐮 Steak Aburi Maki: this sushi roll features torched steak and pickled onions with earthy Truffle flavors in and on top of sushi rice. The leek cuts across these rich flavors and adds depth to the overall roll.
🦀 Crabmeat and Uni Aburi Maki: seafood favorites come together with the mix of crab and torched sea urchin. Love the mix of aioli and sweet teriyaki sauce, which add contrast to creamy flavors.
🐟 Salmon Tartare Aburi Maki: my favorite out of all the rolls we've had, probably because of my bias for salmon. This roll makes use of a sweet soy reduction for its taste, along with a mix of teriyaki sauce and a uni aioli for added creaminess.
Tried a couple of things, their crispy calamari Maki and crabmeat uni aburi maki stood out as particularly nice. Their scallop and tuna aburi maki is just so so. The crispy calamari had a nice crunch and a good spiciness to it, while the crabmeat maki had a great yuzu aioli. Their tempura and kimchi gyoza are both fine, they're not particular standouts.
Line can be long, but it's not gonna be as long as Manam's line.
Food 4; ambience 4; service 5; price 4. If you look for authentic sushi, this may not be the place. Food served appears to be Japanese fusion, and richly seasoned, which is okay, and probably proper if partnered with booze. It appeals to the younger crowd. We tried the sample platter and I gave a 4/5 for taste as I found some of the seafood a bit gamey, or the sauce is too rich and just overwhelms. But that’s how they serve their food and I am sure most will find their food great. Its a fun way to enjoy Sushi.
I’d give Ooma Greenhills a 5, but their waiters need to pay more attention to the customers. Hopefully it’ll be different in a few more months, since it’s been open for a month only.
But nevertheless, their food is always exceptional and consistent with the rich flavors and moutherwatering dishes that will leave you coming back for more. The interiors for this Ooma is a bit more classier than the usual japanese wet market look. Expect to be seated immediately. It’s a fast turnover for this branch. So glad they opened a branch in Greenhills - it’s so close to home! Will be here often.
Ordered the tori kara-age, salmon aburi and spicy tuna, and the kimchi prawn and enoki aburi maki, all tasted great and fresh. Staff are friendly and service is excellent. Seating is a bit limited so there might be a bit of a wait during peak times. Arrived at 9:45pm and they still accomodated us even if they close at 10:00pm. Glad they opened a branch here. Cheers!

It's been a while since I got to make comments on a place that I've visited. At times, I crave for a Japanese cuisine because their dishes are very good. :) Recently, we had tried this at their Makati branch (Greenbelt) and their dishes were great! The quality of their food is worth the price you've paid! Hence I tried this with my family here at their newest branch at Greenhills.
Since this is a Sushi Bar, don't expect to see their complete menu, such as their rice bowls like Katsudon, Gyudon, but their Makis do not disappoint. So you know what to order there. :)
Ambiance - the place is small, typical for a Sushi Bar only, but it's neat.
Service - the servers are attentive, polite and kind. :)
Menu - you may refer to the attached image for your reference. They mainly serve Makis.
Dish Review - we have tried the following:
1. Steak Aburi Maki - while I'm not able to sense the aroma from truffle oil, the maki gives a "Ommph!" taste when it melts in your mouth - very soft-delicate and delicious. You don't need their sauce to dip in it... just taste it naturally. :)
2. House Chahan - I find this a bit "dry" though; not really sure on the ideal/must-be output of a Chanan, but seems dry for me. It's just right.
3. Chicken Teriyaki - Grilled chicken spot on! The side salad gives additional flavor to your sumptous chicken slices.
4. Ebi Tempura - seven BIG prawn pieces; if it's not a prawn, their shrimp sizes are generous. :) Cooked spot on - not rubbery nor chewy!
I'm definitely coming back for another round of Makis which I haven't tasted yet.
PS: My first try was in SM Megamall (Fashion Hall), and my first maki there was the Tempura Soft Shell Crab Maki - it's good too!

The Moment we’ve been waiting for! Ooma Sushi Bar x Manam is the mashup we didn’t know we needed. That is, the Ooma side can also order drinks from the Manam side. It’s more than enough because I’ve always wanted to enjoy eating maki while sipping some ube sago shake goodness.
For this Ooma experience, we ordered:
Ube Sago Shake (Manam) - masarap. Always reminds me of the good times.
Buko Pandan Shake (Manam) - not a fan. I can barely taste the buko element.
Steak Aburi Maki - masarap. Something different from your usual seafood maki. The beef is perfectly torched with the right amount of truffle oil.
Ebi Tempura Maki - masarap, unexpected winner of the night. First time to try this and I didn’t know it was packed with crunch from the inside. Bitin ako! The plating was not as enticing as the other dishes, but I guess don’t judge the maki by its plating?
Unagi Cucumber Aburi Maki - the eel was soft and masarap as always.
There is a queue during peak dinner hours (the Manam queue is longer) so go there early if you can. The food came in a bit late (perhaps due to peak hour demand) but the servers are friendly and attentive. And hey, the best dishes are worth the wait, right?
Will try the Manam side next time!
The food is great and tasty. What I loved the most is their hanger steak. The food is full of flavors that it makes you crave more. Prices are fair and affordable for people. I rated this restaurant a 4/5. The staff just needs to put more hardwork on serving the food. Also the staff needs to serve their food properly.
