Finally! A cozy coffee shop near my place. A few minutes walk from our house is J & J cafe. Where they serve a surprisingly good variety of food and coffee. Price is affordable and service is commendable. The place itself is neat and somewhat instagrammable. We had rice meals, pasta, coffee and tried their cheesecake too. The tomato based pasta was excellent i had to order another one for take away. Good for family eat out, couple date or alone time coffee sesh, smoking area available in an open area of tables and umbrellas. Staff are friendly and courteous. This is 4 of 5 stars for me and yes, absolutely RECOMMENDED!👌🏻

The ambiance of the place is great, you can really smell the roasted coffee in the air. I do really like the coffee and tea we ordered. It's strong and the presentation of drinks is great. We only try their cheesecakes and we love it, definitely we will go back and we will try their food.
The place has a very relaxing ambiance, although it is small. It cannot be recommended for big groups. I guess the maximum number the place can handle is 15 persons. We tried all of their pancakes, which are not that bad but isn't also that great. I can say that it's not worth the price. The taste and texture are to "eggy" rather than fluffy, and ironically the regular pancakes tasted better than nutella with banana and peanut butter with cheese. The beverages and food are affordable, which I can say is the best feature of this cafe. I love their butterscotch latte, not too sweet. It's really tasty. If you're a first-timer, it's not hard to choose from the menu since the best-sellers can be definitely trusted.
The best here in the North side! For a very affordable price of Php88, you get a scrumptious breakfast meal with egg and coffee which you can upgrade to a frappe! Good deal, right?
Also, their Chocolate Ganache is to die for! You can also try their Pesto Pasta, which is also delicious!
The ambience is chill, relaxing, and the coffee is superb!
It's very rare here in the north side of the metro that you will encounter an excellent restaurant and excellent service. J & J cafe really got a nice ambiance & especially the FOOD! 400php for 2pax isn't bad.
