Life as we know it has come to a halt. If you know me, you know that I love going out with friends on weekends, most of the time to east our or attend foodie events. All travels and events have been cancelled, I’m working from home now and stayed put over the weekend (and probably until after this crisis has been contained).

In a city that has been inundated with new unlimited Korean barbecue joints, I am always on the lookout for a place that offers more than just the usual unli-samgyupsal with a smattering of very basic banchan. I am a fan of Korean food in general so I was very pleased to see that GEONBAE  MODERN KOREAN BAR & GRILL offers the best of both worlds.

The charm of unlimited meat is undeniably strong. It's so attractive that numerous Korean BBQ chains opened these past years. There are those priced unbelievably affordable while others market its brands as premium. The newer K-BBQ stores made things more interesting by offering the best of Korean and Japanese cuisines. And I heard that one of the best places to get your Seoul and Tokyo favorites is Geonbae.

Next on our Zomato Tomas Morato Food Crawl took us to Geonbae Korean BBQ Restaurant (Geonbae Modern Korean Bar & Grill). I’m not going to lie. After chowing down on my favorite sushi rolls in Soru Izakaya, I thought I couldn’t eat anymore. I was so wrong. Because the ambiance, food selection, and grilled aroma at Geonbae was just too good not to give in! Check out these top 3 reasons why you should choose Geonbae Korean BBQ Restaurant on your next #Samgyup party.

Unli Korean BBQ joints abound in the metro. So much so that one may be challenged in distinguishing one resto’s offerings from another’s. Well, Geonbae Modern Korean Bar & Grill will make sure that you remember it well. Geonbae translates to “empty glass” which has the same meaning as the expression “bottom’s up.” The name is quite apt because here, you and your friends can eat and drink to the good times.

This unlimited Korean hub was packed from the time our foodie group stepped in after lunch to the early evening. Geonbae gives you more reasons to consider them over its many competitions.

For just Php 649, diners have eat all you can access to nine appetizers, three kinds of soup, nine usual sides, twenty different types of meat, and eight special entrees, with six kinds of Korean dishes in stone bowls.

Customers are given ample time to enjoy, with 3 hours using a unique QR code to order from their seats. How convenient and cool, right?

Geonbae also has Shabu Shabu, and this is a welcome change if you want to take a break from all the grilling.

It was overwhelming to try Geonbae's P649.00 menu but for me, it was sulit, especially when you're with friends and you take turns grilling the meat for everyone's happiness of the Korean BBQ experience.

As for the service, I find it innovative to see the menu in just a (QR) scan away. Also, for your convenience, you don't have to raise your hand just to get a waiter. You can just tap/chat your concern in their system (via the mobile (they will teach you how) and your query/request will reach their database.

As for the place, it looks like a house converted into a restaurant. My only concern is the slippery floor.

By the way, here's the list of food they are offering (P649.00).

Noms! Good quality meat and sides for an affordable price. We had dinner at said restaurant and got the 499 deal which includes unli meat and side dish. Quality of their food is better than other Unli Kbbq places I had dined in for the same price.

Plus ordering is easy since we can book our orders via an app and the staff will just bring the order to your table. No more back and forth follow-up's. Only issue is the ventilation of the place, the area where we were sat was quite warm, but will definitely come back.

Geonbae is a must-try Korean BBQ restaurant. Thr price of unlimited pork is somewhat higher than some of the restos but the advantage of this is the quality and variety of the meat. Their side dishes are also delicious and they offer more side dishes than others that I've tried before.

It's our second time dining here and their food and service is consistently great. We love their ordering system which you don't have to call a waiter to order a refill. It makes ordering fast. Their unli set P649 are bang for your buck, you get quality meats, appetizers, side dishes like sashimi, tempura, takoyaki, korean mandu and so much more. Must-try meats are the Hanger steak and Beef Rib Strips :)

For a little over how much it usually costs in unlimited Korean BBQ restaurants, you get so much more than what you pay for in Geonbae. On top of the the usual side dishes, they also serve you actual and full dishes to go with your grilled meats!

They're also very innovative when it comes to ordering. Just access their network on your phone and you can already order from there - all you have to do is click and wait! Definitely beats having to raise and wave your hand and wait until a waiter comes to you to take your order.

For a delicious, fun, and no-frills unlimited Korean BBQ experience, try Geonbae!

Great selection of food. The designs in the restaurant are colourful and eye catching. The food is really good. I particularly liked their moksal, but their ginger samgyupsal was extremely chewy. The other samgyupsal flavours were okay though, so I'm not sure if it's just the ginger ones or they're just not consistent with their meat. Overall a great place to dine!

I came during their promo and throughly enjoyed their meat selection - tender, well-seasoned, and thinly sliced. I’m partial towards their sweeter marinades. The salmon sashimi was excellent during my stay.

Compared to other Korean restos, I like their interiors. Their ordering system is convenient as well. My only negative comment is the lack of space. I felt like the staff might have an accident while walking around with hot grills in tight spaces. I recommend this place to peers though I sure hope they implement additional safety measures.

It was my first time to try Geonbae & i would have to say that it exceeded my expectations. This is my new favorite korean bbq place. I love their wide meat selections and side dishes of course additional points for having Sashimi.

Just a few suggestions though - 1. add desserts on the menu; after all the meats consumed, one will crave for something sweet.
2. If you could operate 24hrs, or at least longer operation hours.
3. Faster service; we had to keep on following up on our orders.
4. They did not accommodate the Citibank promo stated in Zomato.

Overall, this place is highly recommended. 🤤

Geonbae offers two kinds of unlimited rates. One is priced at 499 and the other at 649. We opted to go for the 649 as it included salmon and tuna sashimi, ebi tempura, premium cuts of meat and others.

Food is good. There are plenty of choices in their online menu however it is a bit of a drag to order from our smartphones. The sashimi is fresh except for the last serving as tuna is a bit mushy. We did not get to order the ramen and the bibimbap as we are so full. The meat choices were really tasty and each has a distinct flavor. I'd probably be back but for the 499 rate.

What I love about this place is that you order thru your device! All you have to do is connect your phone (this is what I used) to their WiFi. This connects you to their ordering system and all you have to do is pick your menu (up to 8 at a time), submit your order and in a few minutes (or less) your order comes at your table. No need for calling Kuya or Ate's attention for whatever you need.

It's that convenient.

They have a lot of marinated meats to offer as well as a lot of side dishes, appetizers and entrees to choose from. However, they lacked what I look forward to in most samgyupsal restaurants: Pickled Radishes. For me, this clears my palate and breaks the monotony of the taste of grilled meat. It's just that; 1 point lost by Geonbae. They did have pickled cucumbers but it wasn't available at that time.

Service was excellent. The service crew always asks if there's anything we need and that's what I liked about it. Because the ordering system was semi-efficient (I'll talk about this later), the crew had more time to serve quickly, re-fill your water pitcher, dish out from your table, and other sorts of things.

Now, about the semi-efficiency of their ordering system, there may be things that they get to miss. In our case, I ordered for the steamed egg twice and none came. All our orders were taken, except the steamed eggs, which I followed up when we were almost done with our meal. Plus point is that you get to see what you ordered during the entire course of your stay in Geonbae: from ordering their great marinated meats, changing your coals and grills, from their numerous side-dishes and entrees.

Oh, another thing: bring your portable fans as it may get too hot inside despite being air-conditioned.

Would I go back to Geonbae? Definitely. I love the convenience of just sitting down, munching on your meats and ordering away thru your mobile phone, or tablet, or whatever.

(How I wish all other samgyupsal restaurants offer this ordering system.)

Best unli samgyup resto by far!!! It’s a fusion of Japanese and Korean food so kids can still enjoy the non-spicy dishes. The variety of their meat and side dishes are endless!

Downside: extremely long waiting in line. I’ve been here twice and literally had to wait 2 hours to get a table. As in hihintayin mong matapos ang mga naguunli sa loob. They need a bigger space and more seating.

We were there around 2pm so there was no queue. We took the 599 promo. We let them serve the initial meat dishes, mainly pork but after that we ordered beef, beef and beef. They are so generous with sashimi, we ordered 4 servings which is supposedly 12 slices of salmon, but they gave us a plateful... yummy!!! The beef belly is my favorite which I wrapped around thin slices of garlic, next is, understandably, the hanger steak. We did try some side dishes like bibimbap, soup and fish cakes. But mostly we have repeat orders of beef and several refills of lettuce.Service was fast. Price is very reasonable for all the food that we ate. A very, very minute low notes. I was expecting small servings of sauce but they have them in plastic bottles so that's one thing I missed. Also, there's already a yellow lump we thought mustard but we were surprised it was cheese. Just waiting there for how long we don't know. We did not see steamed egg on menu.

Ambience- 4.5/5
Food- 4/5
Staff- 5/5

Has great variety of food offered in their menu. The hanger steak was cut in just the right size and the it was very soft. It also offers unlimited bibimbap which is one of my favorite here. Servee hot and not salty. Their beef and pork samgyupsal are one of the best korean barbecue in terms of quality here in manila.

Their staff is very well accomodating especially their supervisor. The queuing was just fine. This place is as goos as it gets.

One of the most sulit korean/samgyupsal restaurant for me. They have unli meat and side dishes including hanger steak (which is their best seller), tuna and salmon sashimi, tempura, takoyaki, japchae, cheese, ramyun and a lot more! The only downside is that, you’ll have to wait for a long period of time during dinner, but it’s worth the wait :)

A friend highly recommended this place to me and I have always wanted to try it out and it finally happened yesterday.

We came in around 4pm and there was a queue already but it was quite fast mainly because the late lunch diners were exiting as we arrived. So we finally seated and was quite excited with the upcoming experience. We were a group of four hungry diners.

We were first served a platter with top-choice meats and they let us order our preferred appetizers or ready food. For starters, we had kimchi jigae, steamed egg, shrimp tempura, buldak kimbap, ramyeon, salmon sashimi, takoyaki, japchae, cheesy tteokbokki. Wow! Quite a lot and majority are delicious! What stood out for me personally were the cheesy tteokbokki because the sauce was sooooo good and the tempura.

For the meats, I can say the quality are quite good. Appearance-wise, it was good and taste-wise, it was equally good too. We raved how good the place was.

Service was fast and servers were courteous.

The only minor downside to my experience is that they did not have any garlic slices when I asked for it. They had no stock, they say. Also, banchan selection was a bit limited. I asked for red radish and leeks kimchi but it was not available. The only ones they served were the ones they had yesterday. And it was a Saturday. I wish they had more because for me, a kbbq lover that feels some sort of guilt with what I eat, needs to have a lot of vegetables for my sides.

Having said all that, I will definitely still return here. Over and over again if I can. And I loved the entire experience except for the minor issues. =)

Every Korean BBQ restaurant is equipped with a unique promotional slant to attract customers. Geonbae boosts itself with an impressive menu selection. Unlimited options includes appetizers, mains, soups, sides, and quality meats for a value of Php499-599. Grilled hanger steak is the the crowd favorite. What sets it apart from the many other KBBQ in the area is that it serves Tuna/Salmon Sashimi, Bibimbap, Kimbap, Ramyeun, and a long list of korean favorites. We made a reservation prior and avoided the long queue. There is a private room for intimate functions.

Special mention to Mean and Nash who really provided us an excellent customer service. I had so many request since we were a big group but they really made sure that everything will be smooth and perfect. They always smile,
courteous and attentive whenever they took our orders and request.

Food is also delicious. All the meat and salmon/tuna sashimi were fresh. I also like their Japchae, sweet with a kick of spice.

Place and price were also perfect. Not bad, because you have an unlimted serving of all the items in their menu.

Hearing alot about geonbae there're good and nad comments so we give it a try we arrive around 5pm and gladly there's ample of seats, we're are seated behind the front door at first i feel its good there's aircondition above our seat when we felt the heat already we ask the waiter to open the aircon but she replied its out of service. Well we go for the 599 unli its has more variety of food and unli sashimi. The meat tasted fresh well the others tasted good except for the japchae tasted salty and the takoyaki serve cold maybe they prepare it already beacuse of longer cooking time. They also serve unli drinks of cucumber juice tasted good. Place is big and nice. Well geonbae is sister company of soru izakaya... Price is affordable for the food you're eating. They have a 3hrs limit for the buffet. For the service we had an average service today maybe beacuse of lots of people dinning.

I’m not really into korean grills, but this is an exemption. Hands down to one of the best I’ve tasted. (Super sulit too!) We ordered the 599 set, and I didn’t regret. Let’s start with the meat. My favorites are: The hangar steak (best if you grill it medium rare), spicy yakiniku and surprisingly, the ginger chicken fillet. Other meats are tasty, and they have a wide variety of pork and beef. For the appetizers, the best part of this set is the Yeon Eo (salmon sashimi) and Chamchi (tuna sashimi). They’re fresh and melts in your mouth goodness! I can’t remember how many times we’ve asked for this. Hehe. That’s what you call sulit. I love the concept of the kimchi takoyaki too. Oh, another favorite is their tempura/shrimp fry. The batter is just right, the shrimp is juicy and simply delicious. The sides are all good. And another thing we loved is their cheese. Sooo delish! It’s creamy and light unlike the cheese from other korean grills. And cucumber lemonade for their drinks. Service is fast, despite the volume of customers. And yes, expect a line waiting to be seated, especially during dinner time and weekends. Will I go back again? Definitely!

My friends and I had the 599 menu when we went out to eat. Overall, the menu is actually pretty sulit - it’s really up to you to make the most out of it 😅 We tried a few different things, but the ones that stood out to us are:
- Beef Bulgogi (!!!)
- Oyster Woo Samgyeop
- Oyster Hanger Steak

We also tried some appetisers/entrees, this is what we had to say

Kimchi Takoyaki: good, but doesn’t really taste like kimchi (just a bit of spice at the end)
Steamed/fried mandu: pretty good, doesn’t come to the table very warm (if that matters to you)
Korean wings: the sauce is a bit more sweet than spicy (not necessarily a bad thing)

The service was pretty good, we just had to follow up sometimes with the non-meat orders. We also got went there right at the opening and got seated right away. Overall, good experience and would recommend.

Review by www.stefideeblogs.com 🥀

Korean cuisine has spread throughout the Metro for the past few years and is continuously doing so. With the Filipinos’ love for Korean dramas, we have learned to adapt to their cuisine, the exquisite taste of Korean barbeque or Samgyeopsal.

We Filipinos love eating a lot in restaurants, in buffets on special occasions like family gatherings or birthdays, or just an ordinary day to unwind. Just like Koreans, we also have a big appetite for meat. That’s why it is understandable why we love K-food as well.

Somewhere in the area of Tomas Morato in Quezon City lies a charcoal grill Korean restaurant, Geonbae Modern Bar & Grill. It is continuously emerging in the market, even though it has just been established last year. We tried it on a Sunday, as it opens at 11AM. Gladly, we made it inside immediately, since there wasn’t a queue.

What’s outstanding about Geonbae is their wide variety of meat choices, appetizers, entrees and stew. There are two set of menus: The P499.00 and P599.00. We chose the latter because of the larger selection of the food.

Meat choices include Samgyeopsal (Pork Belly), Spicy Yakiniku Samgyeopsal, Ginger Samgyeopsal, Gochujang Samgyupsal, Smoked Pork Belly, Spicy Yakiniku Pork Ribs, Spicy Yakiniku Moksal, Herb Pork Jowl, Pork Bulgogi, Pork Intestine, Sausage, Woo Samgyeop (Beef Belly), Oyster Woo Samgyeop, Gochujang Woo Samgyeop, Chadolbaegi (Beef Brisket), Galbisal (Rib Finger), Oyster Toshisal (Hanger Steak), Beef Bulgogi, and Ginger Chicken Breast.

Appetizers include Buldak Kimbap (Chicken Kimbap), Yachae Kimbap (Vegetable Kimbap), Fried Mandu, Steamed Mandu, Japchae, Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cake), Yeon Eo (Salmon Sashimi), Chamchi (Tuna Sashimi), and Kimchi Takoyaki. Entrees include Saewoo Twigim (Shrimp Fry), Galbi Jjim (Beef Stew), Ramyeon, Bibimbap, and Korean Wings. Soup and stew include Doenjang Jigae (Seafood Stew), Kimchi Jigae (Kimchi Stew), and Galbitang (Beef Rib Stew).

Minimum of two persons to avail the promo, while left over charge is P200.00. Cards and cash are accepted. Only 3 hours maximum stay.

FOOD

Okay, first things first, the food. What I love about Geonbae is, indeed, the quantity of food choices. The servings per plate weren’t that much, so what we did was to try anything that we could. We honestly don’t have the biggest appetite, but we tried our best (LOL).

My top picks for the meat are Woo Samgyup(Beef Belly), Galbisal (Rib finger), and Oyster Toshisal (Hanger Steak).

Can I just say that the Hanger Steak was my ultimate favorite among the meat? It was really tender and juicy 🙁 The sausages are actually great, too, by the way!

For the appetizers, Yeon Eo (Salmon Sashimi) and Chamchi (Tuna Sashimi) were my favorites! I also liked their Saewoo Twigim(Shrimp Fry) and Japchae! We always taste first the Kimchi in every Korean restaurant that we go to, and here, it was good. Meanwhile, Tteokbeokki,  which is one of my favorite Korean side dishes, didn’t excite my palate.

Lastly, they have unlimited cheese! And did I say I was very addicted to it? So far, it’s the best cheese I have tasted in Korean restaurants. Tip: It went really well with the Galbisal! A must try!

LOCATION / AMBIENCE
Geonbae is located 115 Scout Delgado Street, Brgy. Sacred Heart.
There’s a parking space for those who want to bring their cars. Meanwhile, the space inside isn’t that big. But considering that lines are forming already because they’re increasing popularity, I guess they might have to enlarge the place?
For the dining tables, there are those for groups with one grill (for families or barkadas) and those for sharing with two grills (for two persons, like couples or you and your best friend).

STAFF / SERVICE
Upon arriving, the staff immediately catered us, took our orders, and prepared our table. We were able to dine in just 5 minutes after arriving at the place.
One thing I’d like to comment is the service while we were dining was quite slow, considering there are enough staff to cater their customers. Some of our orders were served for quite long (same as the table beside us), and some were wrongly served as well. Good thing is that after some customers talked to them about that matter, they listened to their customers and handled it professionally. With the restaurant being new, I’m pretty sure there’s always a room for improvement.

OVERALL REVIEW
I think that Geonbae is good to dine in. Despite the concerns seen in the restaurant, the food is worth trying! If you want to try lots of unlimited meat and other dishes that are not typically found in other unlimited Korean restaurants, I’d say pay a visit at their branch now!

Geonbae is not your usual Korean barbecue place because they offer meat which are not available in other Korean barbecue places like sausages, pork intestine, chicken fillet and beef.

You can choose from two different sets of dishes which are priced differently - Php 499 and Php 599. Of course, you get more dishes in the Php 599 set. Here are some of the items that will make you think/feel that the additional Php 100 is more sulit:
- Meat: Beef Brisket or Chadolbaegi, Rib Finger or Galbisal, Hanger Steak or Oyster Toshisal
- Appetizers: Salmon and Tuna Sashimi
- Entree: Ramen, Bibimbap

We got the Php 599, as recommended by a dear friend. I personally liked the meats because it tasted good especially their Hanger Steak. They also offer Ginger Chicken Fillet (I think they’re the only ones who offer chicken for bbq) which was yummy, too. Downside is that it takes some time to get cooked so skip this if you’re really hungry. We also got the kimchi fried rice which went well with any grilled pork/beef and their cheese dip. We got to try their sashimi and it tasted fresh.

It is a modern Korean - Japanese restaurant, ambience is ok, however, i think they are under staff, it took a few minutes for us to be noticed when we ask to refill our food. Kimchi is great, i love it and also their bibimbap! It's a must try! What I appreciate is the sushi as side dish but the serving is too small. Tempura is so so or maybe because I just did not appreciate the tempura sauce they have for tempura. But value for money here is ok.

My friend and I went here on a Friday night, around 10pm. There was a queue but we didn't wait long to be seated. We enjoyed the 499 set; their meat has slightly thicker and fatter cuts than what we were used to, but it was good nonetheless. They have such a wide variety of food to choose from, from pork intebstines to takoyaki. The staff were polite and responsive, and the place was clean.

Overall, a great experience and, we will come back to try the 599 set. 😊

Went here with my family for my sister’s birthday and availed the 599 unli. Food is good and I’m glad that the dishes were not 100% Korean. There are Japanese dishes on the menu which I like such as their sashimi and ebi tempura. The exhaust system is good, they also have powerbanks available per table which was helpful.

Another week, another Samgyeupsal feature. What's new, lol! Before quitting smoking I wonder why a lot of people felt so addicted to Samgyeupsal and Milk tea, which for some reason, accounts for mostly everyone's weight gain lately. But once I regained my optimum taste since quitting smoking, I've become addicted to both also and now I get the bandwagon! Fortunately for me and for all of us, we'll never run out of new Samgyeupsal places to try because they seem to have taken the city by storm.

Overwhelmed by their wide variety of dishes to choose from! At first, they will serve all kinds of meat available and then you can decide which ones you want to have more. With their meat, we liked the most were the rib finger and woo samgyup. For their Japanese selection, my workmates love them! They keep on asking for tempura and salmon. The beef soup and bibimbap were good as well. The beef stew was a bit sweet and tasted like terriyaki. Their cheese dip is not that salty, compared to others, which I like because it didn’t overpower the flavor of the meat. I loved dipping the fishcake in the cheese haha! The lettuce and egg were served very late, we were almost done eating, because it wasn’t available earlier as per their manager. Although we didn’t get to try everything on the menu, we definitely enjoyed dining here! Staff were all attentive that we didn’t even have to follow up any orders since they served it immediately. Price is very reasonable too.

We decided to have our post valentine lunch here after reading a number of positive reviews. We were among the first to arrive in the area so we had no problem getting seated. First, the staff were very accommodating and informed us everything we need to know about their policies. The quality and cuts of their meats are very good and the items on their menu are more than enough compared to other Korean grill place. Overall we enjoyed our lunch and we will definately go back. Apart from their meats we also liked their sausage, takoyaki, chicken wings, steamed egg. 👏👏👏👍👍👍

This goes to the top of my list for the best samgyupsal place in QC. Value for money 👍👍👍

For the price of 599, apart from the usual meat choices, you can get takoyaki, ramen (not the instant one), premium beef slices, chicken wings, bibimbap, salmon sashimi just to name a few.
Service can be quite slow though and the absence of dessert choices can be a disappointment. Nonetheless, will definitely go back 👍

Lloyd and I had the PHP 599 (or 11.41 USD) buffet per person and, honestly speaking, we were overwhelmed with the extensive list of choices. I don't think it is possible to eat everything in just one sitting. We actually didn't know what dish to start with - let alone if we should still eat banchan... We were really impressed with their Buldak Kimbap. Yes, it isn't a traditional kimbap. The roll itself was fried and there is a generous drizzle of different sauces which made it truly appetizing. This is one of Geonbae's main differentiating factor if you are going to ask us.

I should add this korean resto as one of my favorites. What satisfy me was their variety of meat with a Japanese twist as they also serve fresh salmon & tuna sashimi & tempura. May it be the 499 or the 599, you will probably enjoy the food and perhaps would go back here again. Apparently, we weren’t able to try all in the menu as we were so full.
However, they should atleast have some desserts or hot tea may be.

5 stars because their menu is so sulit. Medyo expensive compare sa ibang unli korea barbecue. Mas maraming options to and UNLI LAHAT and masarap! hahaha.

Not going to mince words here.

The sheer variety of choices from meat to side dishes here is out of this world.

Plus the worst thing I tasted was average, nothing was bad or terrible. Again given the sheer number of food items to choose from that's admirable.

Plus the line is nowhere near as long as romantic baboy.

This should be your number one choice if you're feeling Korean bbq in the Tomas Morato area.

Unless you reserved their private room, expect a long wait.

Food - 4/5. I wish they had more servings of the sides. I ordered panjeom and was given kimchi because they ran out of panjeom. Overall, it was a decent korean setting with good options. What got me confused was their use of cabbage and lettuce. Oh unlike authentic Korean bbq grills, they didn’t have sliced garlic. Sashimi and tempura were ok. Again, don’t expect much especially when you’re paying only ₱599.

Ambiance - hip and modern. Not enough seats/tables that kept a lot of people waiting. They should at least do 3-hr unli package, just so other cutomers will have less waiting period.

Price - afforable

Parking - oh my lord! It felt like you needed to park there at 5 am to secure a parking spot.

Its worth going back to.

4.5⭐!
If you want many many many (really many!) choices besides meat, this is the place for you! They offer korean and japanese dishes. We loved their unlimited salmon sashimi, tteokbokki, chapchae, and definitely the hanger steak (so soft)!!! I hope they can improve their ramyeon because it was very salty. But overall, we loved our experience here! Our clothes didn't smell after we ate here! We will definitely be back to try the other dishes!

I found what I believe is easily one of the best bang for the buck restaurants in Metro Manila.. Geonbae Modern Korean Bar Grill and Restaurant. . For the very reasonable price of P599, not only are you given unlimited access to their numerous Samgyupsal selection, but you also get Unlimited Side dishes and Unlimited KOREAN ENTREES!

The Korean BBQ invasion is really upon us! Yes, it is really here to stay. UNLIMITED servings of Samgyeopsal and Woo Samgyeop have taken over the palates of Filipinos all over Metro Manila and beyond. As avid foodies, we love trying out new dishes and looking for new restaurants to EATSperience. However, because of this Unlimited Korean BBQ phenomenon, we often find ourselves looking for the next best restaurant that specializes in Korean Grill. We’ve been really guilty of dining from one Unlimited Korean BBQ place to another. In this edition of EATSplorations, we found ourselves in Quezon City just a few meters away from Tomas Morato to try out one newly opened Korean BBQ restaurant. Don’t stop reading just yet because this might just be the next best thing. Keep on reading as we share another Quezon City EATS through Unlimited Korean BBQ at Geonbae!

Some might say the price is a bit high (Php 599) but given the wide array of choices I felt that I got my money’s worth! They have another choice of Php 499 with slightly less choices and no sashimi which we were all craving. I think there were so many choices that we weren’t even able to taste them all but hhhh I want more of their tteokbokki and cheese dip. The other food choices were really good too! The place was very nice and clean. Staff were kind and attentive. The wifi and powerbank was a great bonus hahaha. Would definitely come back!

Great food. Lots of choices, side dishes plus there’s tempura and tuna and salmon sashimi. The meat tasted really good and juicy. The servers were really nice and accommodating. The place is quite small but the ambiance is great!
