I love the place and the food! Staff is very attentive too, even after more people came in. I love that they have a promo. You just have to like and share their page to get a free mantou! It was a bit crunchy in the outside and soft inside. Also it was hot. I love that the paper isn’t attached at the bottom of siopao. I always hated it that way. Hehe. The beancurd is also worth it.
Just one thing, I asked the staff if their credit card payment works. She said yes. She never said anything about minimum charge to qualify for any type of card payment. I was almost out of cash, and after the payment I only had 20php left. Lol. I hope they would make it a habit. Because some people just don’t wanna use cash most of the time like me. 😁
We love the Beancurd Rolls which are stuffed with delicious fillings. Their Beef Wanton Mami and Mix Special Mami are good, too plus the serving ample. For the rice meal. We wanted to order the Pan Fried Chicken (Taiwan Style) but they already ran out. We were quite disappointed but we have to admit the second choice wasn’t a bad one. Beef Brisket Rice Meal is tender, savoury and satisfying.
As mentioned, The House of Mantou specializes in mantou so we tried their plain fried mantou which comes with condensed milk dip. We’ve had mantou before but this is the best one. It’s golden, light and tasty. It can honestly be enjoyed with dips or eaten plain.
We really enjoyed our meal. In fact, we are actually planning on visiting again to try their other mantou varieties. I just hope that they improve their service.
Lovely, lovely mantou place. Their mantou ice cream creations and classic fried mantou with condensed milk dip were great. The steamed ube mantou was good.
Fast service.
They serve really good food. But the mantou wasn’t as great as Chowking’s mantou before.
But overall, everything we ordered was good.
Miki Bihon, Fish Fillet Brocolli, Chopsuey, Yang Chow, Beancurd Roll and Steamed Mantou.
Aside from the very intimate and homey place, food is authentic Chinese that me and my family really really loves. We always visit The House of Mantou everytime we have a chance.
Special Mixed Congee had very fresh ingredients: shrimp, squid, fish, and chicken. I really enjoyed the shrimps and squid in particular. Mixing everything with some kalamansi and soy sauce is a good move.
Refills and service time were quick. Place is pretty family-friendly. Make sure to try any Mantou.
Always a go-to place for a quick fix of Chinese food. I love their brisket mami and their dumplings. They also usually have promos but you have to ask.
Ambience is good, Chinese setting. Affordable and good taste. Must try birthday noodles and mantou. Sea food noodles rich in taste. Thumbs up...
