My wife and I tried this place out since their pitch of 'organic' food has piqued our interest, as well as its humble location along a road in a residential district.

It was around 8pm when we arrived so there was only one couple who was dining when we arrived. We were welcomed warmly by the server and guided us to the table near the windows.

The area is large enough to accommodate an event/forum but during our visit, I found the ambience sad because there aren't much people who dine at that time, but at the same time relaxing because it felt like we were in a fine dining establishment.

We ordered spinach soup, malunggay soup, super pork bagnet, chicken cordon bleu, green mango ensalada, and papaya juice.

The spinach soup was appetizing, as it had a certain light sweetness. The malunggay soup was thick, had a very organic taste. The bagnet looked intimidating but is actually light to bite. The skin was crispy but the meat was tender. Chicken cordon bleu had veggies mixed with it so it's a good twist. Green mango ensalada had a harmonic flavor, with a thick bagoong paste (which can be difficult to mix with the veggies). Papaya juice felt like papaya shake but tastes fine nonetheless.

A bit on the pricey side, but I think that is justified by the quality of ingredients. We wanted to try their other dishes but probably on another time.

Recommending this place for occasional dining.

We dined here thrice, we were satisfied sa una at pangalawang visit. Kaso nung pangatlo since we just ordered their executive lunch and avocado shake, so flop talaga their exec lunch - the oregano-rosemary braised pork, jusko Walang lasa we really regret of what we ordered. Pero I will rate 4 star pa din since nasatisfied naman kase sa una at pangalawang visit namin - though not avail nga lang yung crispy pata when we dined there for the 2nd time so we opted for a crispy maskara instead.

Good food for an affordable price. We ordered their executive lunch which comes with a soup and a glass of iced tea. They also have big servings. The veggies even the pork taste fresh as they get their produce straight from their farm in Bulacan. The staff were friendly and attentive as well. Just one thing to watch out for would be their serving time. We waited for quite some time before our orders were served probably because they have a lot of customers during that night.

We ordered:
Mushroom Baked Fish Fillet php300 5/5

Oregano Rosemary Braised Pork with Mushroom php290 4/5

Gising gising 280 4/5

Sorbetes solo (Macapuno flavored) php70 5/5

Will definitely go back! šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

This is a relatively new restaurant along Road 1, less than a kilometer from the corner of Visayas Avenue. The place is spacious, clean, orderly, and has ample parking outside & at the basement. The owner, Mr Rolando, was there during our dinner (12.03.18) and was very kind and friendly as he moved around the diners to politely check our dining experience. Food is truly very delicious as if having the best homemade meal ever. Servings are generous and presentations are simple but elegant. We tried the Sinigang sa Miso na Salmon Head that was served in a large bowl, good enough for 3 people; Pritong Okoy using melt-in-your mouth Alamang rather than ā€˜hipon na nakakatusokā€™; we would have tried ā€˜Maskaraā€™ (deep fried pork face:) but preparation was rather long (weā€™ll try this next time; btw, the pork is called ā€˜super porkā€™ - find out for yourself & be amazed). Mr Rolando is an accomplished Environmental Engineer with passion for farming & agriculture, thus, at least 70% of the restaurantā€™s ingredients are supplied by his farm (que: ā€˜farm to tableā€™). I can see this place as a ā€˜venueā€™, a family restaurant, a foodieā€™s place, a retreat during off-hours: a place where food can be truly enjoyed. Iā€™d have given this a ā€˜5ā€™ but Iā€™m reserving that for our next visit - which should be soon. Highly recommended! .e.

From healthy food to homey ambiance; THIS IS HOW I DESCRIBE THIS GOOD FIND RESTAURANT AT PROJ. 6, Q.C.. Upon entering, one will feel the warmth accomodation as all the attendants welcome you with a smile. The place is so clean and the white walls in spacious area give you a feel of the healthy clean food awaiting. The foods are really indeed delish. No salt, no preservatives; everything is cooked meticulously detailed to make it hearty. The photos uploaded are what i ordered that i highly recommend. The baboy ramo bagnet is crispy that a knife easily cuts through even on the fat part; the adobo squid is flavorful less.fishy; the laing is sweet, creamy, and not too spicy - very balanced; the chicken is crunchy, and well caramelized; and the kare-kare is irresistable; all ingredients therewith are a delight. For me, they are all 5 stars rated in deilghtness. I would like to commend sir alfredo who welcomed us hospitably. I also admire the owner himself sir rolando for taking time out to have a chit-chat with us. Mr. Rolando is so kind, and very down to earth that having a conversation with him is never a dull moment. I enjoyed knowing how he conceptualizes the resto, and what he plans to make it even better. And so i can say that this resto is indeed living to its name: rolando's restaurant from HIS farm to table and TOO CLOSE TO HOME figuratively.speaking.

From just seeing the outside, and from the staff helping my grandfather up the stairs I knew that this deserves a 5-star rating.

The inside is VERY spacious. And as we talked with the owner after our meal, we discovered that he himself designed his own restaurant, majoring in civil engineering, I really loved the ambiance. This is fit for large events like debuts, marriage, etc.

Next, the food is highly superb. Served quickly and no delays. This is the best Filipino cuisine I've ever tried. According to the owner, all are organic and ingrediets from their farm (even the meat/fish) and they do not use flavorings. They are cooked fully in an organic way. My personal favorite is the bagnet, adobong pusit and laing. Perfect balancing of flavors with uniqueness. Especially that laing has only a light spice and evident creaminess that harmonized perfectly.

Would definitely recommend this for healthy eaters out there, also to Filipino-cuisine lovers. The owner's own story is so inspiring too, I feel like when we were dining here, we were living out the owner's story and his dreams. Thank you for the great experience Rolando's Farm to Table Restaurant!

Healthy meals are getting popular nowadays. There are a lot of people who areĀ  becoming aware on the importance of eating healthy. Because of this, restaurant owners find ways to incorporate new dishes for a positive lifestyle and for health buffs to enjoy their meal. Good thing Rolando'sĀ Farm to Table is here to help us with healthy food choices.

Rolando's Farm to Table is a new restaurant in Visayas Ave. It's a restaurant that is family friendly since it's a family owned restaurant. The owners of this restaurant gets their produce from their farm in Bulacan. All of their ingredients are made from scratch & done with love and joy to serve their customers.

Every time we leave the office, we tend to pass by this restaurant. My mom and I got curious because it was unusual for a big restaurant to be placed in a residential area. It was also enticing to see due to its minimalist approach of design. Because of this, we decided to hold our company anniversary celebration in this restaurant.

To start off, we ordered theĀ Ensaladang Mangga (150php).Ā This consists of diced green mangoes, tomatoes & sauteed shrimp paste. I didn't bother eating the Ensaladang Mangga. Instead, I decided to get theĀ Seafood Chowder Soup (170php).Ā It consists of assorted seafood with diced potatoes & thick and creamy soup. I found their seafood chowder to be just right. I was expecting it to be more creamier.

For the main course, it started off withĀ Sugpo sa Bawang (620php).Ā It's prawns cooked with margarine and garlic. I like the fact how the sauce complemented the prawns.

Next is theĀ Super Pork Bagnet (270php).Ā It's your usual bagnet with a side dish. Among all of the foods that were served that night, this would be my favorite. I like how crispy the outer layer is and how juicy the inner layer is. It suddenly reminded me of La Union since La Union is known for their bagnet.

TheĀ Super Pork Kare-KareĀ (560php)Ā consists of stewed pork shanks & generous amount of vegetables in thick peanut based sauce served with bagoong. What I love about this dish is how creamy and thick their sauce is. Their pork shanks, I believe, needs more attention to it.

TheirĀ Chicken Galantina (380php)Ā consists of creamy stuffed chicken, deboned and steamed. It was alright with me. If I were to choose if I should order or not again, I don't find it reasonable for this to be ordered again.

For the dessert, we ordered the ff: Buko Pandan w/ Macapuno, Suman Kamoteng Kahoy and Halo-Halo.Ā  I asked our other officemates what they liked best since I wasn't able to eat. I was full already. They said they would have to go for the Buko Pandan. In regards to Halo-Halo, it lacked this "oomph" taste.

In regards to their service, it was splendid. Their staffs made sure to put a smile on their face. They made their customers feel at home. Although they had great staff, they should improve on their payment terms. When we went here, we had no choice but to pay in cash because their credit card system wasn't working that time. It became a hassle for us.

I am still giving Rolando's a chance because I'm sure there are other dishes of theirs I would enjoy and recommend to other people.

A bit on the rocket side but...
1. Ambience is nice. Since it's pretty quiet must be because it's a fairly new restaurant. If you want a quiet place to eat with not a lot of people and noise this is the place you can go to with your family friends and loved ones.
2. Food tastes fresh. Not too strong but not bland either. Just enough. Must try the omelette and the Paco salad and crepes. Will try the other filipino staples next time.
3. Service is good. Staff is very polite from the waiters to the security

Place is also very good for big gatherings.
