Open Table is one of the restaurants in 2 Lozcano Place. During our eat up we tried some if their bestsellers:
🐷Crispy Bacon Sandwich for Php195.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
“Battered bacon with honey mustard and coleslaw served on ciabatta and with a side of fries”
🐷Jerked Chicken for Php245.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
“Marinated boneless chicken leg quarter chargrilled served with sauteed rice, salsa and chimichurri.”
🐷Honey Tabasco Pork Belly for Php375.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
“4 hours simmered hogs belly glazed with honey tabasco and chargrilled. Served with rice and coleslaw.”
All the dishes were good and tasty. The only issue is the pricing, I find it a little bit pricey. Maybe the management of Open Table can work on it.

The hustle and bustle of Tomas Morato (aka food avenue) is one of the reasons why I love living in Quezon City. Situated in #2 Sct. Lozcano corner Mother Ignacia street is a newly built food park. One of which is the Open Table. If you’re looking for some TexMex or Western, this little quaint gem is the perfect one for you ✨
For a lower price than what you would pay some big-named restaurant chains with the same concept, the meals here are delicious and the servings are generous.
I found it sweet that the restaurant owners of 2 Lazcano place treat each other like family. Despite the obvious competition to draw in customers, they collaborated instead to help one another. This place is not a food park, it rather a cluster of small food establishments. Here one can cross order to anyone- you can have pasta, coffee, desserts to wines in any seat in this two-story commercial center.
One of the establishments here is Open Table. They served us their Jamaican staple, well-spiced Jerked Chicken and deep fried, crisped and uniquely made Beer Battered Bacon. I loved the flavors present in both dishes.
Just because Open Table is located in a somewhat obscure location at 2 Lazcano Place Quezon City, does not mean you should ignore it. If you are a fan of a Western and TexMex restaurant concept, you should definitely dine here.

I tried the Jerked Chicken and the Honey Tabasco Pork Belly. Both dishes were served with a mound of rice. The serving was good enough to share between two light eaters. The flavors were rich and it was clear that the recipes have been perfected by a chef who know what he's doing. The sweet-savory sauces had a hint of heat that wasn't overpowering.
The crispy bacon sandwich is a bestseller here so I also had a bite of that. I personally found this dish a bit too one dimensional. However, it is filled with bacon. I really should not be complaining.
I'm looking forward to another visit here and a chance to try their other dishes. so far, it looks really promising.
A small restaurant in a compound of restaurants. Place was clean and ambiance was modern and aesthetically pleasing. Food was just so-so nothing really remarkable. Must try are the ribs! Servers were nice and courteous. Their A/C tho was broken when we came in so the place was a bit too warm for my taste.
I was really glad to be invited for a Cross-Order foodie meetup for lunch last February 14, 2018. This is one out of seven restaurants in 2 Lazcano Place. Open Table is located at the ground floor of this plaza. It's a brilliant idea to have a cross order system so that people have more options to choose from and won't restrict food preference.
Crispy Bacon Sandwich (Php 195)
Crispy battered bacon drizzled with honey mustard and coleslaw in between ciabatta bread with golden brown fries.
Honey Tabasco Pork Belly (Php 375)
Pork belly simmered for 4 hours and glazed with honey tabasco. It includes rice and coleslaw.
Jerked Chicken (Php 245)
Grilled marinated boneless chicken with salsa, chimichurri and sautéed rice.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Their dishes fairly affordable with generous serving. They offer grilled flavorful dishes to satisfy anyone's hunger.
I don’t know why they have a less than 4 rate because they have really good food. Their mashed potato are soooo good! We ate here during the lent season and both their soy salmon and fish parmigiana are delicious. The salmon was a bit small but the mashed potato made up fot it. And duh it is salmon haha.
I was able to try 3 dishes of Open Table while on a Cross-Order foodie meet up during lunch at Valentines Day . We were seated at the 2nd floor though at another restaurant where all dishes from 6 participating restaurants were served. The cross order concept is simple. You choose a restaurant where you want to enjoy your meal. While there , you can order dishes from other restaurants within the "compound" (for want of a better term)
We dined at Open Table by chance... This restaurant is located at the corner of a busy intersection... The building is full of newcomers to the food business, but each one stands alone and is separate from the others. In short, it's not a food park!😂
Since this place had parking that weeknight, we decided to give the place a try... Yes, this is qn excellent way of choosing a restaurant! So, we did a quick search in Zomato for suggestions. Open Table became the pick of the night...
We were welcomed by the super attentive staff... As in super!😂 As in napressurr ako pumili ng order dahil kay kuya! But we honestly appreciated it-- better attentive and alam buong menu kaysa titigan o pahirapan tawagin.
Anyway, my husband ordered the Ben's cheeseburger. I wanted the skillet lasagna, however it wasn't available.😢 I tried the crunchy bacon sandwich. We also shared a plate of onion rings.
My hubby and I liked the cheeseburger--nicely seasoned & juicy patty. Egg was a little too overdone, no runny yolk to coat the burger... The onion rings were a tad too oily, but they had a really generous serving. I thought the crispy bacon sandwich was okay-- only because I don't really like Canadian bacon. I thought it would be the thin strips of honeycured bacon fried to perfection. It tasted good, but it wasn't my cup of tea. Iced tea was pretty good though. I am hoping to try the lasagna next time. In general, the servings were generous, the place was comfy, and you get great value for money.
Seriously, the staff were excellent! They came running when you call. No request is too small and replies are done with polite words. We were updated on the status of the food, told to be careful of the hot plates, and our glasses were always filled. I even watched the server answer a hundred questions from someone trying to book the place for a get-together. He was cool, calm, and eager to please. Great job! 🙌
It’s not very often when I, Mr. Eats, EATSperience something without my wife and baby. It’s also not very often when I go all the way to Quezon City just to EATSperience something new. Well, in this edition of EATSplorations it is not like one of those days when my wife and baby are not with me. Because I will be sharing an EATSperience that I went to on my own, and it’s in an area called Scout Lazcano in Quezon City. Thank God for the ASEAN break, I was able to travel from our place to Quezon City in just 30 minutes during lunch time. It’s a miracle, right? I was really pretty happy with the travel time that I experienced because I was looking forward to having a great time eating with friends in a restaurant that I have never tried before. And that restaurant is Open Table Restaurant at Scout Lazcano in Quezon City. If you are familiar with Capitol Medical Center, Open Table Restaurant is located just around a hundred meters away and is in a commercial area called 2 Lazcano. Open Table Restaurant serves up American food like ribs, burgers, and sandwiches, just to name a few. If you are up to discover a new place to EATSperience, you better keep on reading because Open Table Restaurant might just be your next go to eatery in Quezon City!
I've had a very wonderful experience in this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the staff was very accomodating to my queries. Service was fast and efficient, it exceeded my expectations. Food was delectable and has a great value for money. I would recommend future customers to try their Jerked Chicken which is one of the best chicken dishes I've ever tried in the Metro. Other commendable dishes are the Aglio Olio pasta, Back Ribs and their Special Houseblend Iced Tea. I will surely come back to try their other dishes with my friends.
well. the ambiance is good and clean. people at the resto were awesome. the owner/chef personally handed to me my order which I think is a very good move to get in touch to the diners and as well to build connection as well as to know what we really can say about their food. Jerk Chicken was superb, it is juicy, well seasoned and made me crave more for rice. baby back ribs was so big , enough for 2 to 3, it was so tender and flavorful. I can't wait to visit them again and feel the same like the first time!!! kudos to chef Lara of open table. worth a visit guys!!

Baked Penne was a little spicy, but it's nothing I can't handle (I'm sensitive to spice). Chicken tendera was good. I don't think they used the breast part of the chicken, rather, the thigh, so the texture wasn't what I expected, and it's good. Fries were well-cooked and the dip was good (honey mustard). The shrimp of the shrimp aglio olio was pre-cooked, so I didn't taste it (I'm allergic to unfresh seafood). But it was spicy too. Service was great! And the ambience of the place was so cozy, which I like. Will definitely go back for some comfort food. Good job!
Sat and ordered in Bento&Co, but we also ordered from this restaurant since the owners are siblings.
🔸2 pc porkchop w/ spicy sauce- my dad ordered this and it's his favorite. Porkchop was soft and big on top of rice
🔸big burger steak- boyfriend ordered this and he said it was yummy. Big burger on top of mashed potatoes. Ate a bite and it was soft and peppery
🔸fried porkchop w/ mustard sauce- i liked my order!! Very crunchy and juicy pork. Mustard sauce wasn't too overwhelming i could eat a lot of it. Mashed potato at the bottom was really good also
Service was fast 10-15 mins and I enjoyed the quality and taste
We tried this new place when it was relatively new late last year. You need to know that the food is pricey but has good quality. The second floor is where most of the tables are at it was simply decorated but pleasing. They have a TV which you can immediately see once you go up the stairs (which are a bit steep). There was only one waiter and you need to go down or wait for him to go up to order and ask for assistance - they could use a bell or table button so you could easily call for help.
We ordered the following:
Grilled Soy Salmon Fillet - tasty and good quality salmon
Honey Tabasco Pork Belly - not the usual pork belly since it does not taste as good but the honey flavor is evident and okay
Devilled Pork Chops - safe order if you are hesitant to being adventurous
Ben's Cheeseburger - the first one we ordered was very hard to chew so we complained and they actually gave us a new one - whole burger although the one we first ordered was almost already consumed and we were just asking for them to re-cook.
Good people. :)
Been curious with this resto after we have dine in the nearby resto. So.we.decided to dine here today for our lunch we ordered the full slab ribs, deviled porkchop, blt sandwich, pumkin soup, icetea pitcher and rice well food is ok but nothing so special. The price is a bit pricey. But service is good. Place is clean.
Jellybeans In The City
+4
The Open Table was a wonderful discovery for me and my officemates. While the resto's main dining area as quite small and closed off (partly claustrophobic), the food made up for it. I ordered fish and chips which was served in a healthy portion (tasty and almost good for two). I also sampled my officemates' Ceasar Salad and Deviled Pork Chops which were quite good too.
The food was great but the place feels a bit small. The tables were too small to accommodate their huge plates. But the food was GREAT. The ribs were so tender and the salmon was tasty. The spaghetti with meatballs was just right- not too sweet nor is it sour. Their mashed potatoes was perfect. Their shrimp soup was okay but their Caesar salad was plenty. I will definitely come back.
Open Table on #2 Scout Lozcano corner Mother Ignacia Q.C., is another reason why I love living in Quezon City. Situated on the ground floor of a newly built food park, this intimate resto is home to some of QC's flavorful food finds. Search for this resto on Waze and be sure to bring a big appetite.
Here's what we had:
Honey Tabasco Belly: One of Chef Lara's signature dishes. Extra tender pork belly with indulgent meat to fat ratio, smothered and grilled in honey tabasco sauce. Lip-smacking good. It is topped over spicy chili rice that perfectly complements the meat. This is the one dish you should remember to order.
BBQ Pork Ribs: Half rack of smoky succulent pork ribs with bbq sauce. Never fails to awaken the carnivore in me. I enjoyed the texture and consistency of the meat. Not too wet, not too dry. Just right. It is also served in quarter and full rack sizes.
The resto also serves cake slices for those looking for a more decadent ending.
All that said, the Honey Tabasco Belly for me is the star and is a meat experience I won't forget soon.
And after a big meal at Open Table, more foodie adventure destinations nearby are just waiting to be discovered.
Orders on our 1st visit: Moi's Fish & Chips (PHP205), Baked Penne (PHP260) and Opentable Iced Tea (PHP150 good for 2-3 pax)
I've always been a fan of Fish & Chips, so I definitely enjoyed the potato wedges and the tartar sauce that came with it. The fish, however well cooked it was, was too salty for my taste. Then again, the Baked Penne was the saving grace. The pasta was al dente, and the tomato and cream sauce with Italian sausage presented a delicious fusion.
Orders on our 2nd visit: Grilled Chicken and Vegetable Sandwich (PHP175) and Skillet Lasagna (PHP275)
The sandwich was surprisingly good, especially with the choice of veggies that were stuffed into it (grilled zucchini, eggplant, tomato and caramelized onion). The Lasagna on the other hand, was also a flavorful dish. I'm also giving it plus points for having a generous serving of mozarella cheese.
The newly opened restaurant has great potential, given its interesting menu and cozy interiors. I also enjoyed dining on the second floor (can accommodate 20 pax comfortably), as it exuded a chill vibe. I will surely come back and try their other offerings despite my salty encounter with their fish & chips. The iced tea was good by the way! It tasted like my favorite brew in Army Navy (Libertea).
