Open Table is one of the restaurants in 2 Lozcano Place. During our eat up we tried some if their bestsellers:
🐷Crispy Bacon Sandwich for Php195.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
“Battered bacon with honey mustard and coleslaw served on ciabatta and with a side of fries”
🐷Jerked Chicken for Php245.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
“Marinated boneless chicken leg quarter chargrilled served with sauteed rice, salsa and chimichurri.”
🐷Honey Tabasco Pork Belly for Php375.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
“4 hours simmered hogs belly glazed with honey tabasco and chargrilled. Served with rice and coleslaw.”
All the dishes were good and tasty. The only issue is the pricing, I find it a little bit pricey. Maybe the management of Open Table can work on it.

The hustle and bustle of Tomas Morato (aka food avenue) is one of the reasons why I love living in Quezon City. Situated in #2 Sct. Lozcano corner Mother Ignacia street is a newly built food park. One of which is the Open Table. If you’re looking for some TexMex or Western, this little quaint gem is the perfect one for you ✨
For a lower price than what you would pay some big-named restaurant chains with the same concept, the meals here are delicious and the servings are generous.
I found it sweet that the restaurant owners of 2 Lazcano place treat each other like family. Despite the obvious competition to draw in customers, they collaborated instead to help one another. This place is not a food park, it rather a cluster of small food establishments. Here one can cross order to anyone- you can have pasta, coffee, desserts to wines in any seat in this two-story commercial center.
One of the establishments here is Open Table. They served us their Jamaican staple, well-spiced Jerked Chicken and deep fried, crisped and uniquely made Beer Battered Bacon. I loved the flavors present in both dishes.
Just because Open Table is located in a somewhat obscure location at 2 Lazcano Place Quezon City, does not mean you should ignore it. If you are a fan of a Western and TexMex restaurant concept, you should definitely dine here.

I tried the Jerked Chicken and the Honey Tabasco Pork Belly. Both dishes were served with a mound of rice. The serving was good enough to share between two light eaters. The flavors were rich and it was clear that the recipes have been perfected by a chef who know what he's doing. The sweet-savory sauces had a hint of heat that wasn't overpowering.
The crispy bacon sandwich is a bestseller here so I also had a bite of that. I personally found this dish a bit too one dimensional. However, it is filled with bacon. I really should not be complaining.
I'm looking forward to another visit here and a chance to try their other dishes. so far, it looks really promising.
A small restaurant in a compound of restaurants. Place was clean and ambiance was modern and aesthetically pleasing. Food was just so-so nothing really remarkable. Must try are the ribs! Servers were nice and courteous. Their A/C tho was broken when we came in so the place was a bit too warm for my taste.
I was really glad to be invited for a Cross-Order foodie meetup for lunch last February 14, 2018. This is one out of seven restaurants in 2 Lazcano Place. Open Table is located at the ground floor of this plaza. It's a brilliant idea to have a cross order system so that people have more options to choose from and won't restrict food preference.
Crispy Bacon Sandwich (Php 195)
Crispy battered bacon drizzled with honey mustard and coleslaw in between ciabatta bread with golden brown fries.
Honey Tabasco Pork Belly (Php 375)
Pork belly simmered for 4 hours and glazed with honey tabasco. It includes rice and coleslaw.
Jerked Chicken (Php 245)
Grilled marinated boneless chicken with salsa, chimichurri and sautéed rice.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Their dishes fairly affordable with generous serving. They offer grilled flavorful dishes to satisfy anyone's hunger.
I don’t know why they have a less than 4 rate because they have really good food. Their mashed potato are soooo good! We ate here during the lent season and both their soy salmon and fish parmigiana are delicious. The salmon was a bit small but the mashed potato made up fot it. And duh it is salmon haha.
I was able to try 3 dishes of Open Table while on a Cross-Order foodie meet up during lunch at Valentines Day . We were seated at the 2nd floor though at another restaurant where all dishes from 6 participating restaurants were served. The cross order concept is simple. You choose a restaurant where you want to enjoy your meal. While there , you can order dishes from other restaurants within the "compound" (for want of a better term)
We dined at Open Table by chance... This restaurant is located at the corner of a busy intersection... The building is full of newcomers to the food business, but each one stands alone and is separate from the others. In short, it's not a food park!😂
Since this place had parking that weeknight, we decided to give the place a try... Yes, this is qn excellent way of choosing a restaurant! So, we did a quick search in Zomato for suggestions. Open Table became the pick of the night...
We were welcomed by the super attentive staff... As in super!😂 As in napressurr ako pumili ng order dahil kay kuya! But we honestly appreciated it-- better attentive and alam buong menu kaysa titigan o pahirapan tawagin.
Anyway, my husband ordered the Ben's cheeseburger. I wanted the skillet lasagna, however it wasn't available.😢 I tried the crunchy bacon sandwich. We also shared a plate of onion rings.
My hubby and I liked the cheeseburger--nicely seasoned & juicy patty. Egg was a little too overdone, no runny yolk to coat the burger... The onion rings were a tad too oily, but they had a really generous serving. I thought the crispy bacon sandwich was okay-- only because I don't really like Canadian bacon. I thought it would be the thin strips of honeycured bacon fried to perfection. It tasted good, but it wasn't my cup of tea. Iced tea was pretty good though. I am hoping to try the lasagna next time. In general, the servings were generous, the place was comfy, and you get great value for money.
Seriously, the staff were excellent! They came running when you call. No request is too small and replies are done with polite words. We were updated on the status of the food, told to be careful of the hot plates, and our glasses were always filled. I even watched the server answer a hundred questions from someone trying to book the place for a get-together. He was cool, calm, and eager to please. Great job! 🙌
It’s not very often when I, Mr. Eats, EATSperience something without my wife and baby. It’s also not very often when I go all the way to Quezon City just to EATSperience something new. Well, in this edition of EATSplorations it is not like one of those days when my wife and baby are not with me. Because I will be sharing an EATSperience that I went to on my own, and it’s in an area called Scout Lazcano in Quezon City. Thank God for the ASEAN break, I was able to travel from our place to Quezon City in just 30 minutes during lunch time. It’s a miracle, right? I was really pretty happy with the travel time that I experienced because I was looking forward to having a great time eating with friends in a restaurant that I have never tried before. And that restaurant is Open Table Restaurant at Scout Lazcano in Quezon City. If you are familiar with Capitol Medical Center, Open Table Restaurant is located just around a hundred meters away and is in a commercial area called 2 Lazcano. Open Table Restaurant serves up American food like ribs, burgers, and sandwiches, just to name a few. If you are up to discover a new place to EATSperience, you better keep on reading because Open Table Restaurant might just be your next go to eatery in Quezon City!
