Chicken charlie tastes like Bonchon's chicken. The ambiance is nice and it was not crowded when we went there. The food was great although we had to wait long for our food to be served. We tried their unli rice for just an additional of P50 and it was worth it. Overall, definitely a place worth visiting again.

We've been here yesterday at exactly 9:30 pm, although, they are only open until 10:00pm they still accommodated us in a positive attitude (👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 four thumbs up from me and my beau)
I didn't like their squid charlie bowl because it wasn't crunchy and its soy garlic flavor was blunt. I think, what I love most about this resto was their good approach with their customers 😊

It was Friday night. The day prior was a payday. I just finished consultations. It wasn't looking good for my drive home from work. Since I have been seeing red for quite some time I decided to stop at the first establishment that catches my eye.
There I was, ushered to a booth with the waiter ready to take my orders. He sees my confusion and offers the chicken, squid, or fish bowl since I seem to be lingering there. I went with fish, of course. Then he asked which sauce. Mmm. . I got to choose from soy and garlic, sweet and spicy, or katsu which I chose. What would I like to drink, he adds. He offers the available sodas and juices. Yuck, soda. Bubbles in the drink is not nice. Thankfully, there's lemonade.
The drink came right away then just a few minutes later I had a mid-sized bowl with three pieces of fish fillet on a bed of rice and that dark brown sauce. It wasn't enticing as the photos but a bite told me I made the right choice because it was spicy. Perfect with my tangy drink. The bill came out less than php200, which is always a nice price range for complete meals.
Oh, and there's wifi. Hooray to free streaming of mind-numbing "if ____ was made in the Philippines" videos.
Im craving for BonChon chicken but we didn't make it to SM so we went to Banawe and found Chicken Charlie. Just a small place with nice crew and of course my favorite soy garlic chicken :) their FullTimeBigTime meal is very affordable with pasta, chicken, rice and onion rings for only 159php. Their soy garlic chicken is ok, just a little salty for me compared to BonChon which is sweet. Their CharlieGreen's salad is also good. Next time i'l try their other flavor of chicken :)
Tried their full time big time meal and charlie's rice bowls. The food is really okay. It's delicious and the serving is really big! The place is quite small the place will only accommodate up to 15-20 persons i think?! Staffs were kind and this food chain is budget-friendly. Will surely comeback tho it's too far from where my house is! ❤️
Before all the korean restos started popping left and right, Chicken Charlie was our go-to place whenever we had Soy Garlic chicken cravings. Their chicken are flavorful and are quite affordable. This branch is small (well their Manila branch too) but they have available seating outside.
Milo Dino makes me salivate just thinking about it now. French fries was good. Chicken burger was even better.
They also offer free wifi which was pretty fast. The only thing I didn't like was the location. My friend and I had a very long exhausted walk because we were looking for this place and the people we asked were actually useless. I wish they would expand more.
Me and my friends ate here last week and even though I got disappointed with their drink size (or maybe i just like it so much) I liked their food. There's a lot to choose from and their food is affordable. This branch is also cozy and I liked the color coordination.
I've eaten here several times before and I would come back again and again to order their flavorful chicken wings, hand-cut fries and chicken dynamites. I love both flavors, the soy garlic sauce and the hot sweet sauce. Always satisfies my cravings.
