Their branch was packed during lunch time but we got seats right away. Seeing the crowd, we really had the impression that the branch was doing well at Gateway Mall.
Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Chicken, Veggies, and Fried Rolls was very refreshing and plenty! I got the smallest size yet the quantity was extremely satisfying! All veggies plus and Fried Rolls were crunchy and the chicken tasted really good. It was a first to try their Tenderloin Beef with Rice and I'm very much impressed. It's a bit pricey but we shared our orders, very satisfied with our food.
Service was typically good!
I was killing time in Gateway when I, from a distance, heard Pho Hoa calling my name. Picturing a steaming bowl of Pho and salivating in the process, entered the store.
Ordered for small size Chicken Noodle Soup, took a few photos, threw in fresh vegetables and before slurped away. And I tell you that it was a good slurping. The broth was flavorful yet not heavy, as usual, and the vegetables were all so fresh.
My noodle meal was so wonderful (and I, so full!) that I only ordered for dessert when I met my niece, who was my original dinner date, in CIB
Late at night and we're looking for somewhere to eat on a Friday. We finally tried Pho Hoa because we're looking for meatless food to eat! We ordered the Chicken Pho and it tastes so good. One order, two people can share depending on your capability to eat one bowl. Haha. We have a bit of a stomach situation so the boyfriend and I decided to share. The staff is very attentive. I will come back to try more pho, as well as the spring rolls!
Update: Boyfriend and I went back last October 30 and passed by Cubao again to look for something to eat. This time, we ordered spring rolls and sauteed chicken and mushroom on rice! These are both great, too! Veggies taste so fresh and sweet while the chicken are all so tender and delicious. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants nowadays. Will always be our go-to place in Cubao for some serving of something healthy and Asian!
Light snacks? Grab some fresh spring rolls and be refreshed on how these ingeredients are from PhóHòa!
They always taste right with their peanut sauce..
Pho was an acquired taste for me, but now I think I enjoy a bowl of pho more than ramen. The clear hot broth is especially perfect during rainy days.
My usual order in Pho Hoa is #40 Flank and Meatballs pho. The beef flank is very tender, while the meatball gives a complementing bite to the meal. I like to pair my noodles with Sriracha and Hoisin sauce (yes, I put both in every bite). The result is a solid burst of flavor which I can’t put into words. 5/5
P.S. If you don’t like the wansoy (like me), don’t forget to request for it to be removed upon placing your order. :)
P.P.S. Why 4 stars and not 5? It’s because I find the price too high for the food. It was a huge treat for me when they became available on Zomato Gold. At the regular price, I often find myself opting for other restos with better value for money.
Been here for lunch with my husband!
We absolutely loved it. Very authentic vietnamese place.
Love where we sat cause we could see the araneta center/cubao area and it reminds me of my childhood days too. Definitely coming back for the noodles!
This is our second time trying out their Pho (first from MOA Branch) and we enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend this resto to my friends😊
My ultimate comfort food - beef pho!! I can’t stress enough how much I love Pho Hoa. Everything is fresh and light but filling! No wonder it’s always packed in there! You have to try it! Spring rolls, salads, pho, rice dishes - YUM! 🤤🤤🤤
As always, delightfully impressed with their Pho (PHP 315 for large) and Spring Rolls here (PHP 175). Amazed by how close their flavors are to my experience in Ho Chi Minh! And was it just me or were they putting in more beef slices lately? The pho was so good I totally forgot to take a picture!
Alas, the service was very very bad, and I hope it isn't like that in other branches. They move at a glacial pace, they don't serve water unless the flod is ready (WHICH TAKES SO LONG TO PREPARE), and they sometimes forget about people's request for bills.

I haven’t tasted much Vietnamese food but I’ll start from now on. Being a big fan of noodles, I always pick that as meal especially if its asian and if the place does serve that. With my experience of Pho in this restaurant, I think I’ll have a hard time choosing between this and my all time favorite Chinese noodles. Tunay na slurp sarap! I like that the soup is light, not too salty. The noodles is firm and not too thick, just the way I like it. I also love their spring rolls! I usually prefer fried lumpia and I don’t eat philippine fresh lumpia but I actually liked theirs!
This remain to one of my favorite healthy vietnamese restaurant. I've been here several times and their food is consistent in taste.
Whenever I visit this restaurant I always order fresh spring rolls and my ultimate favorite dish - vermecelli bowl (it's like all-in-one dish) . I also love the beef noodle soup with lots of bean sprouts, basil and slice of lemon. Beef was tender and full of flavor. My bestfried enjoyed their vegetable soup, veggies are always fresh. You can also request for a one time soup and bean sprout refill. Must try also is their fresh lemonade and pomelo shrimp salad.
Price is reasonable because food here is always yummy and satisfying. Servings are enough for sharing. Staffs are also attentive.
Eating here is definitely guilt-free. I would recommend this restaurant especially on a rainy day so you could devour the awesomeness of their noodle soup!
I ordered the vegetarian cha goi and original beef pho (forgot the name). Serving is big enough for a hungry person, but if you're only half hungry (or half full) better order the regular size. Both food was really delicious and satisfying. The only problem was the staff, I'm not sure if they're underhanded, but there were only two servers for more or less ten tables. They were not able to provide requests or refills immediately and sometimes they forget about it. Nevertheless, the whole experience of eating at this branch was enjoyable. Will definitely go back to enjoy their food.

I had my first PhoHoa experience here and my first Vietnamese food experience. My photos are seen in my instagram since I posted some. I like there since the interiors is instagrammable unlike the resto in Mckinley which is not. The walls are painted pink and some fixtures are also seen so you can feel homey.
Based on the food, the servings there are in big bowls. I think it is normal for Vietnamese resto to serve there soups in big bowls but I still in awe. I can't remember any other food resto serving such big bowls. The food is good especially the Fresh rolls. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.
All the food ordered was pretty good but wasn't too impressed by the pho... The noodles tasted of nothing. But their soups were great, spot on!
My classmates and I visited this restaurant and we ordered two noodles which was sufficient for the 5 of us. It was only for purposes of immersing ourselves to the culture of Thai.
As to the food:
2 noodles was sufficient for the 5 of us. Good taste. Healthy.
As to the ambiance:
It is in front of a garden in a glass to, it doesn't stressed us out seeing too many people from the mall.
As to the service:
I was not able to notice crew because I was late when we met at the resto. But they were able to give us what we need during our stay in the restaurant.
Everything’s really good from interior to the food per se. We enjoyed the beef noodles the most. Chicken satay is okay but I wish it wasn’t too dry. The spring roll is a must try too.
My default order is their spring rolls and grilled pork plate. I love their spring rolls perfectly matched with their dipling sauces. During my last visit, I also tried their mixed veggies. Perfectly cooked and worked well to cut the oil from the deep fried roll. It would be nice if servers were more attentive as we had a bit of a struggle trying to call them and catch their attention having to serve both Pho Hoa and My Thai outlets.
I was pleasantly surprised with the burst of flavor and the freshness of ingredients as my parents and I tried our orders. It was filling to the tummy. We were happy that the waiter also agreed to refill our soup. :)
Was feeling bloated from a recent food crawl, so I told my boyfriend that we had to eat something lighter but still filling, and Vietnamese food fits the bill.
For starters, we had the beautiful and delicious pomelo and shrimp salad! Man, I could definitely eat this by myself! The shrimps were juice and the pomelo has just the right sweetness. The other veggies were kind of dry, but the dryness was remedied by the accompanying delicately sweet-sour dressing.
My main dish was the grilled chicken vermicelli bowl, which is like the Vietnamese version of spaghetti sans the sauce and with more veggies. I don't usually like sweet food that's meant to be savory, but this one just hits the spot! The sweetness of the grilled chicken wasn't overwhelming, and the veggies, fresh. However, the stars of this dish are the spring rolls! Solid, ang sarap! They actually taste like lumpiang shanghai. So good!
My boyfriend tried the hot and sour pho with pineapples and prawns, and it did taste good, but I still prefer the original pho.
Service was a bit slow, though, but I'm willing to wait for such yummy food. :)
I've been to Pho Hoa multiple times. Whenever I'm craving for Vietnamese Fare, PH is my default choice.
I absolutely love their spring rolls! Simple dish packed with flavor. Ground beef, vermicelli noodles, veggies, deep fried and drizzled with ungodly amounts of sriracha. Best paired with some cider.
I've been meaning to try Vietnamese cuisine and where else to start but with their famous noodles soup! Love the spring rolls and the peanut sauce. Could have just eaten them all day. Now, the pho. I was let down with the beef one. Or maybe it's not my thing. Photo Hoa, it's me. Not you. They topped it with a little too much cilantro, I guess. I don't know what's wrong with me but I had a slurp of the noodles and as soon as the cilantro bit hit my tongue, I freaked out. But that's me being a big baby. I took out the cilantro to solve my ginormous issue, and finished off the meal. Sukiyaki - style strips of beef are nice and tender (coz, you know, thin), but the soup wasn't doing much for me. It wasn't as flavorful as I was expecting it. The regular size is big enough though so if your appetite is on the heavy side, go grab the bigger one. Also, they don't accept debit visa so I had to leave the place and withdraw money. The place looks a bit generic (but hey, how much can you do yo make it look Vietnamese?) and if it weren't for the music and Chinese lanterns (yep, there are some hanging from outside), you wouldn't know it's an Asian restaurant.
This is my go-to Vietnamese resto when I'm hungry and don't want to browse through unfamiliar menu. They will split orders of pho into 2 if you ask for it. The fresh spring rolls could use more shrimp though. But the peanut sauce makes up for the lack of it.
Pho hoa serves delicious Thai food. Almost all dishes have vegetable ingredients in it. I recommend this restaurant for those who loves to eat veggies. You will be satisfied but your stomach will not be bloated full. I really love their spring rolls.
The food is a little bit pricy relative to the serving but I guess the presentation and flavor gives justice for the price.
In Manila, Vietnamese food is equated with Pho Hoa. Compared to real Vietnamese food in Saigon, Pho Hoa, at least in the Philippines, is just the "tip of the iceberg"; nevertheless, the way this restaurant prepares and cooks its dishes is nearly as authentic as those in Vietnam. The signature dish, as the name implies, is pho, the healthier version of Asian noodle soup that is characteristically Vietnamese. And all the works: fresh basil leaves, lime and bean sprouts served while waiting for the main order, and sweet and hot Vietnamese sauces to adjust the taste of the dishes. Meals and snack are also available, with the fresh Spring rolls being one of the most ordered items.
Pho Hoa has been here for years because of the consistent quality and ample serving size. I am sucker though on having their vermicelli bowl all the time. I always opt for the fresh rolls with yum peanut butter dip.
Great food good for my health. The service was good and fast. The employees were friendly and the distance was near the hotel where I usually stay.
Pho Hoa is one of a kind restaurant that truly served an authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Just came here the other week during a heavy downpour of rains. I ordered my favorite Pomelo Shrimp Salad as my entree and for my main hot Vermiceelli Bowl with grilled chicken, veggie and fried rolls ( fried lumpia) taste so good. Price is okay.
Food at Pho Hoa always tastes amazing. We always end up coming back here whenever we're undecided on where to eat. The only downside of this restaurant is the attitude of its staff. Not friendly and inattentive. A smile is a rare sight. Countless of times I had to stand up and go to the counter just so I could get the food attendant's attention and I'm only asking for a water refill or the bill. Service is quite slow but the food is always good so I guess it's worth the wait.
Pomelo Shrimp Salad. I am not really a fan of salads but this one is so delicious that I even asked for another order to take out for my midnight snack. Talking about this now really makes me wanna go there now and eat one!
Pho. i forgot which one my boyfie ordered but it has lots of ingredients in it that even my eyes felt full and starved at the same time. The taste of the soup is unexplainable but really really worth the price. The soup alone is so delicious already. In fact, even the noodles alone taste excellent that the two combined is really perfect. Yes, even the noodles have taste and not the typical bland flavor. Also, it is not cooked saggy, so I really love it.
Marinated Prawns with Grilled Pork and Rice. What else can I expect from a grilled pork and marinated prawn, of course it tastes and looks the same as the usual but Pho Hoa's vinegar sauce goes along well with it. I esppcially love he rice because I am a fan of tasty foods, even rice.
All in all, after eating at Pho Hoa, my food stadards bar has been set too high that I am no longer easily pleased. *laughs*
Because of this place, pho instantly became my ultimate comfort food in lieu of ramen (but i still looove ramens, i swear to kami-sama), plus it made me appreciate SEA food and cuisine more.
Their Viet Chicken Salad is super! The vinaigrette goes so well that it doesn't overpower the veggies. The mix of veggies and the taste of nuts and all others make it a delightful all veggie treat! The grilled pork with fried springroll rice plate is tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. We went in the first time for the nice interior design. We want to be back for the food treats.

One time in Gateway I decided to eat at Pho Hoa with my friend. It was my first time to eat at Pho Hoa but good thing my friend already tried it and she recommended the Vermicelli bowl. Oh! It was truly amazing. The taste was great! The big bowl was good for two. We ordered the chicken version. It had grilled chicken, leafy greens, carrots, rice noodles, and some delicious spring rolls cut into bite size pieces. The vinaigrette that comes with it really goes well with the other ingredients. It's healthy and delicious all in one!
You must try the grilled pork with prawns and sticky rice for dessert. The taste is so authentic that gives a delightful feeling of vietnamese taste in every serving.
Ordered one of the noodles and the taste is good, real good... the meat is really tasty too. They also have a large servings to full your tummy. :) I will definitely coming back to eat again ;) hmm yummmy
Ordered one of their noodle soup. A large one is good for two. Generous serving of noodles and beef. Perfect for the rainy weather that day.
Pho Hoa is a very nice place to eat in. Although the venue itself is a little small, the food is very nice. Vermicelli bowl is the way to go. The beef is good, the chicken is tender, and the pork is scrumptious. But the best part about eating here is because my Dad made libre so I didn't pay anything but I still got a full stomach. Yum!
