Their branch was packed during lunch time but we got seats right away. Seeing the crowd, we really had the impression that the branch was doing well at Gateway Mall.
Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Chicken, Veggies, and Fried Rolls was very refreshing and plenty! I got the smallest size yet the quantity was extremely satisfying! All veggies plus and Fried Rolls were crunchy and the chicken tasted really good. It was a first to try their Tenderloin Beef with Rice and I'm very much impressed. It's a bit pricey but we shared our orders, very satisfied with our food.
Service was typically good!
I was killing time in Gateway when I, from a distance, heard Pho Hoa calling my name. Picturing a steaming bowl of Pho and salivating in the process, entered the store.
Ordered for small size Chicken Noodle Soup, took a few photos, threw in fresh vegetables and before slurped away. And I tell you that it was a good slurping. The broth was flavorful yet not heavy, as usual, and the vegetables were all so fresh.
My noodle meal was so wonderful (and I, so full!) that I only ordered for dessert when I met my niece, who was my original dinner date, in CIB
Late at night and we're looking for somewhere to eat on a Friday. We finally tried Pho Hoa because we're looking for meatless food to eat! We ordered the Chicken Pho and it tastes so good. One order, two people can share depending on your capability to eat one bowl. Haha. We have a bit of a stomach situation so the boyfriend and I decided to share. The staff is very attentive. I will come back to try more pho, as well as the spring rolls!
Update: Boyfriend and I went back last October 30 and passed by Cubao again to look for something to eat. This time, we ordered spring rolls and sauteed chicken and mushroom on rice! These are both great, too! Veggies taste so fresh and sweet while the chicken are all so tender and delicious. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants nowadays. Will always be our go-to place in Cubao for some serving of something healthy and Asian!
Light snacks? Grab some fresh spring rolls and be refreshed on how these ingeredients are from PhóHòa!
They always taste right with their peanut sauce..
Pho was an acquired taste for me, but now I think I enjoy a bowl of pho more than ramen. The clear hot broth is especially perfect during rainy days.
My usual order in Pho Hoa is #40 Flank and Meatballs pho. The beef flank is very tender, while the meatball gives a complementing bite to the meal. I like to pair my noodles with Sriracha and Hoisin sauce (yes, I put both in every bite). The result is a solid burst of flavor which I can’t put into words. 5/5
P.S. If you don’t like the wansoy (like me), don’t forget to request for it to be removed upon placing your order. :)
P.P.S. Why 4 stars and not 5? It’s because I find the price too high for the food. It was a huge treat for me when they became available on Zomato Gold. At the regular price, I often find myself opting for other restos with better value for money.
Been here for lunch with my husband!
We absolutely loved it. Very authentic vietnamese place.
Love where we sat cause we could see the araneta center/cubao area and it reminds me of my childhood days too. Definitely coming back for the noodles!
This is our second time trying out their Pho (first from MOA Branch) and we enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend this resto to my friends😊
My ultimate comfort food - beef pho!! I can’t stress enough how much I love Pho Hoa. Everything is fresh and light but filling! No wonder it’s always packed in there! You have to try it! Spring rolls, salads, pho, rice dishes - YUM! 🤤🤤🤤
As always, delightfully impressed with their Pho (PHP 315 for large) and Spring Rolls here (PHP 175). Amazed by how close their flavors are to my experience in Ho Chi Minh! And was it just me or were they putting in more beef slices lately? The pho was so good I totally forgot to take a picture!
Alas, the service was very very bad, and I hope it isn't like that in other branches. They move at a glacial pace, they don't serve water unless the flod is ready (WHICH TAKES SO LONG TO PREPARE), and they sometimes forget about people's request for bills.

I haven’t tasted much Vietnamese food but I’ll start from now on. Being a big fan of noodles, I always pick that as meal especially if its asian and if the place does serve that. With my experience of Pho in this restaurant, I think I’ll have a hard time choosing between this and my all time favorite Chinese noodles. Tunay na slurp sarap! I like that the soup is light, not too salty. The noodles is firm and not too thick, just the way I like it. I also love their spring rolls! I usually prefer fried lumpia and I don’t eat philippine fresh lumpia but I actually liked theirs!
