The food are great, staffs are friendly and helpful. We ordered:
1. Squash Flower Fritters
2. Shrip Aglio Olio
3. Heirloom Beef Salpico
4. Paella Valencia
5. Tamarind Roasted Chicken
6. Lechon Sinigang
7. Cookies with Ice Cream
8. Lengua with Mashed Potatoes
I specifically loved the aglio olio, paella, salpicao and the chicken. I thought the chicken looked “so-so” but when I tasted it, the flavors erupted in my mouth- even the white meat part is very tasty. Everything is awesome except for the sinigang. I normally cook Lechon Sinigang and my family really cooks it well, maybe that’s why I’am picky with my sinigang.
Serving portion is small considering the price point, though I can taste that the ingredients are all out.
DO NOT MISS their cookies because it is freshly baked and TDF!!
Some orders took 30mins but since I’ve had an
heads up, it’s A okay! I prefer my food cooked as I order :-) Heirloom Kitchen serves heirloom recipes.
Will be back!!!
One of the best Spanish restaurants in Tomas Morato. I ordered the Mushroom al ajillo, Tomato soup, and Paella negra. Everything is great except for the Paella which is a little bland.
Staffs were really friendly and our server recommended these dishes.
What we ordered:
1.) Squash Flower Fritters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-deep fried squash stuffed with herb cheese and served with marinara sauce
2.) Heirloom Beef Lengua: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-ox tongue with mushroom cream sauce and served with mashed potato
3.) Paella Negra: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-squid ink, squid rings and shrimp served with butter and roast garlic
This place is such a good find amongst the many choices in its area. Perfect for dates, and the food is homey. I like how knowledgable the staff are about their menu and how they attend to their guests . Top choices: stuffed bangus and lengua.
Overall:
The delicious taste of the dishes that they serve here is nostalgic of the meals you would get from your mom or lola’s house - but done with an uniquely elegant twist. I can see why it’s called 49-B Heirloom Kitchen, because it makes you feel like you’re right at home.
Although, known for their Beef Lengua and Callos, here are a few things you must absolutely add to dishes to try:
1. Squash Flower Fritters - Appetizer
Sounds a bit strange at first especially when you’re not used to eating squash flowers, but the burst of flavor from the herb cheese is well complimented with their home-made marinara sauce.
2. Adobong Pusit Sa Gata - Main Dish
I could drink this (and I have). With greens mixed in, the eggplants you find are soaked in it’s sauce. The balance between the squid ink and coconut milk is done exquisitely and something I always look forward to having during my visits.
3. Sinigang na Salmon sa Miso - Main Dish
If you’re a fan of Miso Soup and Sinigang, this is the dish for you. These were one of the meals that really hit that nostalgia high, great to have on cool rainy days.
4. Mary Ann’s Chocolate Chip Cookies - Dessert
Prepare yourself. The thing with this dessert is that you’ll be finding it pretty difficult to go back to any store-bought cookies or most cookies really. One order comes with 5 FRESHLY BAKED pieces (trust me, I wish they came with more), and I highly recommend to take it with their fresh milk. Yup, that’s right. They are baked fresh, not reheated. It was a 12 minute wait from when we had asked for it, and it was definitely worth it.
Thank you 49-B Heirloom Kitchen! Can’t wait to try more dishes next time.
Lots of Love,
Toni B.
Great place. Romantic ambience. Price of the food is worth the serving and the taste! Dessert is wonderful. A definite place for any romantic date, or a family event, or if you just to simply want to enjoy a good meal.
The chocolate chip cookies were to die for! Chewy, sweet, and freshly baked. Make sure to order it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, you won’t regret it.

Found this hidden gem in the restaurant-saturated streets of Tomas Morato so we had an early #DinnerDate before my beloved parents go to another party with their senior citizen friends. 😍
We truly enjoyed our orders: Callos ox tripe and chorizo and Paella Negra with lots of shrimps and squid. The menu mentioned to allow 30-45 minutes serving time but we got all our orders in 15-20 minutes only! Two thumbs up for the efficient chef and staff. 😇 For appetizer, we ordered Chicharong Bulaklak. Being health conscious, it's my first time to eat that sinful pork in decades! But this tasted really good, I forgot about my diet.😱 I'll be going back there to have chicharong bulaklak again!😇 We were also able to talk to their lovely owner, who warmly welcomed us with a smile even before entering their resto.😇 It's a quaint and cozy place, perfect for quiet family dinners. There's also free parking in front.😇

Delicious and could someone please sponsor my lunch here everyday?
Ordered:
Fern Salad P275
Squash Flower Fritters P210
Soup of the Day P90
Grilled Herb Pork Chop P285
Mary Ann’s Chocolate Chip Cookies P125
Ideal for sharing, for an average spend of P500 per pax, super worth it! Each dish is delicately seasoned and served exactly how I want them. My Mom who’s my date for that lunch also said she had a pleasant visit and wouldn’t mind giving another visit.
Must Try:
Fern Salad
Cookies!!
Cookies are good, I was hoping for a scoop of vanilla ice cream but, sadly was told they ran out of supply. Another comment is that parking isn’t exactly easy so would be best to commute to avoid the hassle of finding a parking space. Overall, it was great so I will be back soon.
Wasn't able to take pictures of the food for I was soooo hungry already.
Ambiance: Small quaint place, cozy, quiet. Just two tables were filled when we were there.
Food: we had the ff:
Gambas 5/5
Chili Lime Wings 5/5
Lechon Sinigang 5/5
Pinakbet 4/5
Tamarinf Roast Chicken 4/5
Turones 1/5 ----- we were initially served rotten turon! The banana inside tasted rotten. So we sent it back, and they replaced it. The replacement was bigger, wrapping golden brown. Too bad that they served that bad turon else I would have given them a perfect 5/5
Servers were okay. Quick to respond to our needs.
Will go back for the rest of the food! ❤
