Get the fried rice option on your tempura set. So delicious! We ordered the Samurai Set so we got a good variety of different tempuras to try. The ingridients wherefresh and firm a necessity to make good tempura. Also try their spicy tuna salad! I would definitely come back and recommend it!

My fiancè and I frequent the Vertis North branch. All the staff know who we are and what our orders would be. I wish you make a Frequent Guest Card for your loyal customers, if i'm not mistaken it's our 10th time last Tuesday! The recent photo taken with the staff, we were there and they were so polite to excuse themselves coz they'll take a group photo outside. It was so cute and monumental for their team! More power Asakusa Vertis North!

Have read positive reviews about this place. Happy to say that the reviews were true! We arrived at around 2pm, and so we were able to get in without waiting. The servers were accommodating and courteous. The food, ofcourse, were great! Not only did we enjoy their tempura dishes, but also fell in love with their Gyoza and Gyudon. I can't wait to come back and try more.

When my family and I went to Tokyo, I made sure that we dine at Aoi Marushin. Their tempura offers were so extensive that they even have a take-out counter just dedicated for that. It forever made an imprint on me that I wondered, is there something like it here in the Philippines? Enter Asakusa with the claim of being the “home of Tempura”. Do they live up to that claim?

I love it here! The staff are generous and polite while the food was not that heavy for the tummy. The way that you can customize your tempura platter is what tops this out of the other tempura restaurants I've eaten at because the dishes are properly cooked and I enjoyed every bite.

Overall, it was a very satisfying experience and I will definitely come back here.

This is one of our favorite go to place for dining at Ayala Malls Vertis. We love their Tempura sets as you get to taste most of what they offer at an affordable price.

I also have to commend their Udon, taste just right and not too heavy, that you can still push to eat some tempura on the side.

I like the crunchiness feels when I eat the tempura. For the batter, it's not oily and also quiet light too. This one is 👌🏻 for me.

You may opt to order two tempura sets, choose one rice and another one is Udon (this is what we did), and I ordered extra rice. We split the Udon so we can both try it.

Service is okay. They were easy to get the attention, they were approachable. I like the way they'll give you a receipt-like paper which includes the list of what you ordered so you have a reference as well.

I ordered their Chocolate Valrhona with Green Tea Iced Cream (P158.00) - it's a big scoop of ice cream. I like how it's not that bitter and the Chocolate Valrhona gave texture and added flavor to this satisfying dessert.

I also tried the Prawn Cream Udon (P288.00) - their version of Japanese creamy wafu pasta. Udon noodles with prawn cream with mushrooms, fish flakes, and poached eggs. It was too creamy (or saucy) after mixing the egg (to the point that you'll need a spoon to get the sauces). It's kinda new to me eating thick/chewy noodles (udon) for a pasta-like food.

If you love tempura, then there is no question that you have to try this place since it is their specialty! The food is a little pricey compared to other Japanese restaurants but for me, it was worth it. (You could also order the tempura by piece if you are just curious about the taste)

During our visit, the service was snappy and the crew were very polite and very accommodating.

If you have the budget, give it a shot and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Cheers!

This is my favorite place for tempura! Just the right amount of batter and their special sauce makes it really good. I either get one of two sets, Emperor or Shogun. The sets even come with rice/soba plus a drink. Their rolls, gyoza, and rice bowls are also good.

I had a great time here. It's also pretty neat that you can customize your tempura but I went for one of their set tempura meals. I had their shogun set which consisted of 5 tiger prawns and I also ordered their red miso soup. The red miso soup was great. It wasn't too salty and I was pretty happy that it had a lot of tofu and sea weed in it. The tempura piecez were pretty big and long too. I love how the batter is thin and it's not all better. You get a nice amount of shrimp. The service is also great. I got my food fast and when I asked for the bill they immediately gave it to me. I would definitely come back for the great food and amazing service. 🤗🤗

Our Japanese themed foodie date was starting of with a visit to Asakusa. We went there before the bulk of customers went for dinner. Quite an early start though our appetite was already revved up just by perusing through the menu.

We picked the Shogun set of 3 pcs of Black Tiger Prawns and of course some Spicy Tuna Maki as my girlfriend does like her sushi rolls to have a kick.

I have to sing praises to the preparation of the tempura because it won't let you experience eating mostly batter or breading. From our experience it's about 20% batter 80% pure Black Tiger Prawn goodness (still felt like a 100 for us) The Spicy Tuna Maki have a kick of their own even if you don't dip it in sauce fused with wasabi.

If you are a fan of tempura or even Japanese food in general, Asakusa offers it in a higher quality. It means that you have to spend a little bit more but the experience was quite worth it.

Whenever I am famished, I make sure to eat somewhere sumptuous and worth the money at the same time. So, after I did finish all the deadlines I need to do, I decided to grab Tempura, and of course, it has to be where its done best -- Asakusa.

Ambiance - 5.0/5.0

I opted to eat at the outside seating because the ones inside are filled with customers. And good thing is that, there are no flies and I really felt comfortable seating at the chairs because the staff makes sure that they are all clean.

Service - 5.0/5.0

What I appreciate about this restaurant is that I really see the managers doing the work together with their staff -- they do not just man the restaurant but they also interact with customers. Every server made sure that I have cold water and complete set of utensils.

Food - 5.0/5.0
I ordered the 5 star Shogun Set that comes with rice and iced tea. The Tempura has enough breading and the breading itself is already flavorful while both sauces are good and really compliments the Tempura.

Will definitely come back to try their other offerings.

Tried this Japanese resto because of the high rating here in zomato. It didn’t disappoint. Ordered the shogun set, with the 3 pcs black tiger prawn tempura. The set comes with rice and lemonade. You could upgrade it to your liking. The prawns are huge, the batter is just right, and it tastes yummy. The chicken karaage balls are also a must try, but the salmon salad stole the show. I sooo love it! You could have it regular or spicy. We choose to have it just mildly spicy, and the taste is heavenly. The chunks of salmon are generous, the vegetables fresh, and the sauce complemented the salad perfectly. Out of curiosity, we tried wagyuni, it’s like sushi but instead of fish, they used wagyu beef strips on top. It tastes okay, but I’m not a fan of raw/rare meat. And it was a splurge at P388 for 3 pieces. I should’ve ordered maki instead. But aside from it, all in all, it’s a great meal, service and ambience included.

Asakusa is a welcome eadditionto the ever evolving food scene in the northern side of Metro Manila.

For starters, I ordered the salmon salad and their red miso soup. You have the option to make the salmon salad spicy, which I opted to do.

They serve it to you in a bowl loaded with chunks of fresh raw salmon, which was coated in their spicy mayo-based dressing. The salad base comprising of shredded cabbage, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers were cold, fresh & crisp, just how a salad should be. I enjoyed eating this while alternately sipping the warm miso soup, which was equally delicious.

The only drawback was that the salad was swimming in too much dressing. A lot of it was left at the bottom of the bowl after i finished it. I didnt know this at first, so I will opt to tell the waiter to lessen the dressing next time.

The star dish arrived right after my appetizers. 2 plump pieces of jumbo prawns that were deep fried to golden perfection. At P160 per piece, I wasinitially hesitant to order this because of it’s high price point. But judging from hoshuge it was when they brought it to my table, I felt like I got my money’s worth.

The crispy tempura batter retained the moisture of the prawn. It was sweet, juicy and paired so well with the two tempura sauces that they serve it to you with. One was the original tempura sauce which everyone who has ever had tempura is familiar with, and the second one was dubbed as their Asakusa sauce. Between the two, I prefered the former because the latter was on the sweeter side, similar to the taste of teriyaki.

Service was excellent. As soon as I was seated, they immediately offered to take my drink order, while I havent decided on what I was going to eat. While i was eating, they served me water without me having to ask for it. I like that they were able to anticipate my needs right away. The bill didnt take too long to get to my table either.

At P700 for my overall experience, I think I got what I paid for more, perhaps even more. Will surely be back.

I rarely go to Vertis North because it’s too far from our place. But sometimes we HAVE to go there when we’re meeting family or friends who live closer to that area. And when we do, for some reason, I always end up requesting to eat at Asakusa. Maybe this is also because Asakusa’s other 2 branches aren’t as accessible to me either (so I hope they open more branches in malls in Ortigas, Pasig or Makati). But maybe mainly because there really are just some days I crave for good Tempura and Asakusa always delivers. They also have a wide range of selection and the menu is very flexible. There are fixed sets but you can also build-your-own and buy tempura per piece so you can mix and match.

For convenience, and I’m assuming I get to save a few bucks than ordering a la carte, I always get the sets. Recently, we got the 3-pc and 5-pc Shogun sets which come with black tiger prawns tempura, rice (which we upgraded to fried rice for an additional fee of around ₱50) and iced tea (you can also choose lemonade). In previous visits, I would also get vegetable tempura, usually eggplant, and appetizers like the spicy salmon salad.

The part I love most about them, aside from the actual tempura of course, is that they serve 2 KINDS of DIPPING SAUCES: the traditional tempura sauce and the Asakusa sauce which is thicker and if I remember correctly, sweeter. I like both! So I alternate them with each bite and so it’s not nakakasawa.

I didn’t give a perfect score because I don’t think it’s the best tempura ever but definitely good and far better than others I’ve tried. 😉

P.S. Let them know if you’re celebrating an occasion like a birthday and the staff will sing & serve complimentary dessert for the celebrant.

Dark interiors and mismatched furniture could have dissuaded us from eating here but with its promise of good tempura, we gave in.

Hands down, they serve one of the best tempuras in town -both crunchy and flavorful. We also ordered California Maki which was a bit sweet but overall okay. The yasai itame (bean sprouts with cabbage and beef) was also prepared well but the oiliness can be improved.

Overall experience is okay. Would love to come back again :)

I love Japanese food and tempura to be precise. I saw this on zomato when i searched for restos in vertis north. I wasn't disappointed. Everything we had was good. My fave was the salmon salad. the dressing is soo delicious. The tempura is also kinda big so its nice. It tasted good also. The green ice cream we ordered it plain with no chocolates and it was yummy enough. creamy taste. They also have cold tea for free.. Overall it was an awesome experience. Will definitely come back.

We ordered the 2 Samurai sets, hot udon and tuna maki. We tried ordering the jumbo praws and oysters but unfortunately, both were not available. The service was fast and the staff was very corteous. The tempura was good and I like their sweet sauce (which was one the two kinds of sauces served) very much. The serving size could be improved, considering the prices were quite steep. The spicy tuna maki was just okay. The hot udon on the other hand was sooo good. I love the fact the noodles were chewy and the broth was comforting.

Went here for Mothers day lunch. Place is small, but well designed. Love the fact that kitchen has glass windows, making one see whats going on inside.

We ordered the Tempura sets. Samurai set, shogun set and seafood catch. One ordered gyudon. We upgraded to fried rice. Sets came with iced tea or lemonade. I had the option to add hot soba.

For starters, food was served quickly. It was just 5 minutes before food started coming. Food was good. "Malasa" is the term I would use for the tempura. Soba was good as well. Food 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

But what made me give the perfect score was our server, Ian. Very efficient, friendly, and very attentive. He also anticipates what his customers need. First off, as we were seated he immediately gave all of hot tea. Gave my kid coloring materials and his own kiddie plate. After efficiently serving our food, he immediately asked us, "sir, picture?" When my kid was being cranky about my iced tea, he immediately gave my boy his own glass of iced tea, with no charge. My in laws were very impressed with the service.

Authentic Japanese food! Every bite is nostalgic because I grew up in Japan. One of my favorite food is tempura! I love the texture of the black tiger prawn tempura— not overcooked! I also love the veggie tempura, every single veggie is fresh! I absolutely love their sauces!

Extraordinary service! I spent 2 years in the USA and the customer service there is great, even in Singapore and most especially in Japan. It is my first time ever to experience a great customer service in restaurant in the Philippines! They make sure your needs are being taken care of.

I've been here twice (first time with my family and second with my boyfriend) and I'm gonna keep coming back! This is my go-to restaurant whenever I crave for tempura.

We ordered:
Black Tiger Prawn Tempura, Veggies Tempura, Gyoza, California Maki, and Katsudon.

The price is really reasonable. I'm actually willing to pay more.

Kudos, Asakusa!

Best. Japanese. Place. In the Metro.

I can never thank Asakusa enough for existing and bringing LEGIT and AUTHENTIC Japanese food in the PH. Everything that we ordered is sooooo good. And this is coming from a girl who grew up with parents who cooks Japanese food and have been to Japan and tasted authentic Japanese food. The tempura is DA BOMB, you guys! Huge serving, and crispy, and not too oily. The California Maki is good too, as well as the Tonkatsu Donburi. Even the rice is good! I have some feelings about the Gyoza, though. I believe you can still improve it. But overall, you guys are the best! From the amazing food, to the excellent service. Definitely worth coming back to. Arigatou gozaimasu!~

From duty status calls for a sumptuous dinner since both of us slept the day away and boyfriend is flying to Tokyo for a short vacay.

Anyway, the place is filled with families for dinner too when we arrived. Ambiance, interior design’s above average except the lighting which according to boo is more energy consuming than the usual (the business side that was talking).

Food. They served it 10 minutes earlier than what promised. Staff are well mannered and briefed. We had the 5 pc Shogun Set (with Japanese rice and Iced Tea or Lemonade, your choice), Salmon Salad, Kani, California Maki, and Gyudon with egg separated and yolk well done (Doctor side this time), he knows I like the egg done that way ;)

All went well. Not to mention the special sauce that made the shogun set extra yummy😋😊

Definitely, worth a comeback :D

this is my family's first ever visit to this resto, and i can dare say the experience is lovely. we ordered tuna sashimi, their bestsellers tempura sets: shogun and samuraj, and also their gyoza that best complements asahi beer. the foods are wel deliciouslyl cooked,, especially the tempura that makes you set a comparison against other japanese restos which likewise bid the dish. the katsudon meat is so tender that i delighted every bite without much ado. lastly the servers are very accomodating, and always wearing a smile which is why it deserves a 5star rating from me.

Food - 3.5/5
Service - 4/5
Ambiance - 3.5/5

Recommended:
- [Tempura set] Seafood catch (P318): the sets comes with rice and a glass of iced tea or lemonade. The tiger prawn is really big. Although it's a fried dish, it didn't feel too oily for me.

Not recommended:
- hot soba (+P68): got this as an upgrade on the Tempura set. The soba was overcooked - too soft.

The seafood catch set a light meal. Maybe an order of an appetizer can make the meal more filling. The bf also upgraded to unlimited lemonad. The servers were very attentive and offered to refill as soon as the glass in almost empty.👍

Before we watched a movie last night, my mom, her other officemates and I decided to have dinner. Since I was craving for some Japanese food and it’s been a long time since I last ate tempura, I decided to try this restaurant out.

Here are the following dishes we ordered:

• California Maki 8pcs (238php)
• Gyoza 6pcs (198php)
• Chicken Karaage Teriyaki 4pcs (158php)
• 2 Samurai Set (368php)
• 2 Seafood Catch (318php)

In all honesty, I am not a fan of tempura. But when I tried their tempura, in all fairness, I enjoyed it. Compared to other tempura’s I’ve ever tried, theirs was tasty and it wasn’t too thick. This gave me the chance to enjoy the food I got to eat.

I wasn’t really happy with their California Maki. Take Home Sushi have better California makis than theirs. Their gyoza was good too but I found it quite expensive for its servings. As for their chicken karaage teriyaki, I wasn’t able to try because this dish was for my mom’s officemate who is allergic to seafood. He told us that it was quite good and tasty.

Servers were attentive and made sure our orders were complete. The place had the right size to it. I love the fact that they give you free hot tea once you start dining in.

Am I going back? Only if I’m craving for tempura hehe.

As of the moment, I can’t wait for Ippudo to open in Vertis North!!!

What I ate:
Their "Choose Your Tempura" offers good choices. Tried the scallop, oyster and the usual black tiger prawn -- oyster is great, it was handled and cooked very well. Also had the salmon salad (mild spicy), and it just tastes lovely!

House Crew:
Staff are highly responsive, but could be more pro-active.

Price:
Right and just for its serving size (at least I can justify for what I ate)

Overall experience?
Yeah, I'll definitely come back for more oyster tempura!

Finally was able to try Asakusa.

What we had:
Salmon Sashimi
Their salmon was fresh and delicious. It melts on your mouth.

Wagyuni
Smokiness of the wagyu went well with the buttery rich flavor of the uni with a touch of saltiness with the soy sauce and a bit of spice with the wasabi. The kind of surf and turf you'll surely enjoy.

Tempura
The batter was very good with the vegetables that don't usually taste like much, like for eggplant and French beans, kisu also and kani. I loved the shitake mushrooms tempura. This cones with 2 sauces the normal tempura sauce and the asakusa sauce that is a bit thicker. Asakusa is slightly thicker and sweeter.

Will definitely be back here to have their other dishes and to have the wagyuni again.

Its almost 3pm and I haven't eaten anything and I still have one more errand I need to run... buy dad his meds. And after that, I promised myself to let go. As in pig-out. However, I was with mom. With her, everything changes. And how!

We were buying her shirts at H&M (can you imagine how long lines are in the afternoon of December 21??) while I imagined newly-fried tempura traveling from my plate to my mouth. Yes, I was that hungry... no, famished. And yes, I wanted Asakusa, Home of Tempura. The restaurant with a 70's (yeah... tacky) tagline.

Eventually we reached the Home of Tempura (funny-sounding right?). Mom ordered for tempura and fried rice. Me? Nalipasan na. Just ordered the very uncommon Katsudon (solo). But of course, I stole some shrimps from mom. And she, well, shared my pork.

We both enjoyed our food. My Katsudon was Katsudon. My mom's tempura is tempura. They were not bad. They were good. But not fantastically good.

Was it cozy? Yes. Very. The airconditioning was just right (not Siberia and horrors, not hellish) and the interior's minimal ergo, walang masakit sa mata. The servers were helpful, cordial except for this chubby man whose battle cry in work is this: don't smile, do get orders from diners but don't look at them (better yet, fix the other table while getting the orders), just nod and shake your head in answering. That way, diners will avoid calling you so libre ka na sa trabaho. Ok lang naman. Siguro wala syang Christmas. Siguro meron naman malamig lang.

Are we going back? Go, ask my mom.

Japanese cuisine is one of my favorite dishes. And I’m really excited whenever I eat their food.

Asakusa didn’t disappointed me with their food. We ordered their salmon salad, gyoza, black tiger prawns, australian beef, chicken karaage, hot udon, salmon and tuna maki.

Salmon Salad - it was so delicious. The dressing was flavorful and the salmon was fresh.

Gyoza - crispy and yummy but a lil oily.

Australian Beef - was very tender and flavorful though the serving was so little it can only serve 1 person. We are 7 in our family. Hahaha

Black Tiger Prawns - was good. Like the normal tempura in other resto.

Chicken Karaage - was yummy! The chicken was covered in sauce. Tho we ordered spicy but I didn’t taste any of it.

Hot Udon - the noodles are okay and the broth was good.

Salmon and Tuna Maki - both are fresh and yummy.

Sorry if didn’t took the photos for the other dishes. I was really hungry when we arrived here.

The food was okay and I think i will be back here.

Taking the tempura to a whole new level, I immediately fell in love with Asakusa with its concept and great food. That is why I was so excited to drop by at their new store within familiar grounds, Vertis North.

Here are some of the dishes I've tried out during their launch:

Uni Tempura (268.00 php)
Still can't get enough of that Uni and it was quite the experience. That rich and creamy taste is something I couldn't get enough of.

Emperor Set (600.00 php)
It is a showcase in a platter. Consists of 2 black tiger prawns, 2 scallops, 2 shitake mushrooms, kani, fish, zucchini, and beans, all fried with Asakusa's signature tempura batter. Not too heavily breaded and the flavor was good.

Australian Saikoro Steak  (588.00 php)
Tender Australian Beef with veggie sides. really tasty and not so rubbery. Really good with rice.

It was a great experience indeed dining in here and I'm looking forward to drop by again to try out their other dishes.

Asakusa formally opened its doors in Ayala Vertis North last week to provide their famed tempura to Northern MM peeps. Their new location is a little more spacious than their first one in The Grove. You have a good view of their kitchen and they have a veranda for outdoor dining.

We tried the Emperor Set so we could try a variety of tempuras - 2 black tiger prawns, and 1 each of scallop, shiitake mushroom, kani, fish, zucchini and French beans. I upgraded my set with hot soba and unlimited iced tea. I liked the shiitake mushroom the most from this set.

Of course we had to get an order of Uni Tempura and Spicy Salmon Salad. The uni tempura is my absolute favorite here in Asakusa. We always make sure we get an order, or two, when we visit their original branch.

Tried the Oyster Tempura for the first time and these were huge! The Australian Beef was also good, was soft and not chewy. Its like a teppanyaki beef with vegetables on the side.

We’ve eaten in the original Asakusa several times. We find this to be a an affordable Japanese restaurant, especially when you can order extra portion of your preferred tempura per piece. The prawns could be bigger though. Nothing fancy, but reliable in terms of getting what you asked for.

Yes! Finally, Asakusa Home of Tempura open its door to the North. As they succesfully celebrate the Grand Opening today at Ayala Malls Vertis North. The restaurant is located at the 2nd level of the mall.

I had an Emperor Set, it consists of 2 black tiger prawns, scallop, shiitake mushroom, kani, fish, zucchini and French beans for Php608.00. Upgraded my Rice to Hot Udon for additional Php68.00 and Unlimited Iced Tea for additional Php50.00

One thing about the Emperor Set, I was able to try different flavors/kinds of tempura. And the best thing on it... it has a consistency with the other branch. They served big prawns. Crispy and delicious.

Other dishes we had, our favorite Uni Tempura and Spicy Salmon Salad. Definitely, I will be back again for these two dishes

Surprisingly, the Oysters Tempura per piece was big enough to share.

The service was pretty awesome on that day. It was a jampacked but the service crew were very attentive to accommodate us.

Japanese cuisine has continued its growth in our local scene. We Filipinos have been experiencing quite a surge of different restaurants offering specific Japanese offerings. On a recent Food Crawl at Ayala’s Vertis North, I was able to indulge in Asakusa’s mouth watering Tempura.

This restaurant is named after a place in Japan which the owner frequents to. This explains why the ambiance gives a feel of authenticity. Their staff also make sure you experience dining here like no other. They were all very accommodating.

My palate had Spicy Tuna Salad first, its taste was beyond fresh, it was addictive good. It wasn’t too hot, perfect for a non spicy eater like me. This was accompanied by vegetables too, giving it a boost on nutrients, color and crisp.

Here at Asakusa, the choices for Tempura is beyond the normal. They got variety extending to oysters, scallops, squids, eggplants, among others, besides the usual prawns. These bunch of choices can be mixed with side dishes and sauce to make your type of set.

What separates them from other Tempura stops? It’s their own recipe for their batter. It’s tastier and gives you a wild kick of crunch. It’s not serve too thick, given us more ‘meat’ on every bite.

Asakusa also prides itself with other bestsellers like Sashimi, Kitayama Wagyu beef and Australian beef. This second branch is ready for you, are you up to meet them soon too?

We ordered Shogun Set which is 3 black tiger prawns served with lemonade, rice and two sauces per set and ala carte squash (2pcs per order). Delicious prawns and squash of course! I love their sauces. Service is very good also, they always see to it that customers have their needs. #asakusavertisnorth #asakusahomeoftempura

After a few months, we decided to visit Vertis Mall again to check out what has newly opened. There were more "new" restaurants on their soft opening we'd love to try but our craving for ramen+kimbap led us to the closest one that could satisfy what we want - Asakusa : Home of Tempura.

Ambiance - Not so Japanese in look, just the typical Japanese casual restaurant feel. I identified its feel (and probably the menu options) with Moshi Koshi and Nadai Fujisoba, only you'll be picking more on tempura options more than noodles.

Service - I like how after you placed your orders, they'll give you a printed list - serves as a checklist for the waiters - of your orders. The slow service at that time was forgivable since I understand that they're only on their soft opening trying to simulate a regular day; only they don't have much competitors as of yet since there are only a few options to choose from. Props to them tho for pulling off that much service on an "almost-always-full-house" soft opening! :)

And we go down to the FOOD!!!

1. Chawan Mushi - True to the waiter's description of this choice, it looked and tasted like taho - soy drink enjoyed with syrup and tapioca. Only, this one's salty and truly appropriate as an appetizer; you can treat it like a soup before your meal.

2. Tuna and Salmon Maki - I love how we were allowed to order half regular and half spicy for both makis! We got to taste both in just one order per Tuna and Salmon maki. SULIT right!? I enjoyed the spicy version better tho bec it has more flavor than the regular ones.

3. Samurai Set - Of course, we ordered one of their specialties! And it usually comes with a bowl of plain rice and a choice of either a glass of lemonade or iced tea. However, we got the one where we paid an extra PhP68 to exchange the plain rice for a good serving of cold soba (yup, another SULIT option!). I don't have much comments on the tempura itself aside from it being crisp as it should be - they're hard to recognize as they almost looked the same, battered and fried.

BTW, if in case the set tempura doesn't attract you as much, you can actually make your very own set. Price depending per piece of tempura you choose!

LASTLY,

4. Valrhona Chocolate Brownies w/ Matcha Ice Cream - Bias aside, I'd highly recommend this to cap off your dine in at Asakusa. The soft and chewy Valrhona choc brownies and green tea flavored ice cream has just about the right sweetness that will make you come back for more!

PS. We're really curious about the Kitayama Wagyu Beef but we already ordered so much we'd probably come back and try it some other time!

It's newly opened!

Food - 9/10 it was really delicious. My fiancè said there weren't many choices in the menu and he would have really wanted to see sashimi on the menu. Hope they look into adding more items!

Ambiance - 10/10 like i said new. I like the open kitchen feel makes me trust that what i am eating is prepared right buy the chefs.

Service - 9/10 very courteous but still a bit scattered. It could still be improved!

Would definitely go back! Actually, i'm heading there tomorrow for dinner 🍴
