Tried half slab and buffalo wings, we were not disappointed. Not sure if it would have been better had we called in to have our food prep'd. We waited around 15 minutes to get the moist slab on the grill. Though it was worth the wait, we would not recommend going if you are famished and won't be able to.wait for the savory, tender, smoky, all-american bbq taste.

Perfectly smoked ribs! Very tasty, melts in your mouth and the smokey flavor, will definitely come back. The attendants are very friendly, even had a chance to talk to the owner.

Its one helluvah goodness feels! Happened to visit, Big Daddy J’s All American BBQ weeks ago. The place looks exactly the same, the last time I visited.. about almost 2 yrs ago.

From the place to its food, its consistent. Their Original Half Slab Ribs @ P475 is still tender and tasty as it is. It is served with 2 side dish of your choice. We had baked baby potatoes with herb. And we also ordered, Buffalo wings (P6 pcs for P190). Its mild spicy

Verdict: their ribs are just so tender and I love it! Still, a must try! Worth the visit

Went here with a friend on a weeknight and we're the second set of customers that came during those hours. Because they cook their meat (or maybe reheat) it fresh, you really got to wait for a good 15 to 20 minutes before your meal can be served.

Place is small, like it could only accommodate 5 small groups. The red walls look attractive, though.

Ordered the plate / solo slab because there's just two of us. The price is worth it as the meat is really fall off the bones! Actually, mine doesn't even have bones but my companion has. Still, it has that spicy taste that isn't overwhelming but actually matches the rib slab.

The price for a plate (PhP 190.00) is actually worth it for the taste and quality of the way they cooked their meat. 😋😋😋 Will surely come back whenever I get that rib craving!

The most affordable ribs I've ever had! The taste did not disappoint. My friend and I ordered a half slab, finished it and felt full and satisfied after our meal. We plan to order their "value meal" next time which is plated, comes with free sides and a smaller portion of the ribs. We came on a weekday after the Christmas season and got lucky with parking. It's a hole in the wall type of restaurant with a limited menu , so don't expect fancy food. For the price of its ribs, you get what you paid for. Over all, it's a place you'd frequent for quick meals. Don't come during peak days (weekend lunch) if you don't want to experience the usual hassle of getting a parking slot or table.

If you're looking for honest to goodness home smoked ribs, then this is the place to be. It's not the typical faux ribs smothered in sweet sauce Filipinos are known for. True American ribs at its finest, best enjoyed with their tangy barbecue sauce - it's actually great on its own. Unlike typical ribs, this place serves it with tons of meat (not just bones) and a layer of fat charred to perfection. I was also surprised to discover the buffalo wings was so good too - even if we stayed for hours in this place and ate the wings last minute it still maintained its crunch despite being tossed in sauce. Ribs are perfect with the mixed veggies - not the frozen kind. Freshly cooked and stir fried in butter. Would I go back here again? Most definitely.

I pass by this shop every single day and all these years it had made me curious of what their offerings were. Luckily Zomato gave me a sneak peak, and it got me even more curious because of the high rating.

The location is very near P. Tuazon Blvd, but the shop doesn't face the main road. You have to enter 17th avenue, but you can't miss it. It's just 2 houses away from the corner.

I came in on a weekday evening, a little before 7pm. There was a woman at the counter who immediately attended to me. Well, the fact was, I was the only guest at that time, so she should. I asked if there's a meal for 1 person, she suggested the solo plate which costs a reasonable 190 pesos.

I wasn't in a hurry, so I patiently waited. I actually saw the meat cooked at the grill outside. I didn't really time it but I got my solo plate, maybe 15 minutes after.

The meat was very tender. It had a nice texture and it was easy to chew. I'm used to sweet ribs, but the profile was more on the smokey side, and it wasn't bad. This was accompanied with herbed rice and baby potatoes. They also had gravy that complimented well, the downside was, they served it cold.

Only one staff attended to me, but she was on her toes the whole time. She was friendly too. I asked her what was the guest trend like, and she informed me that they're really strong during lunch time and weekends. There was a male staff who grilled the meat, and he patiently cooked the ribs to perfection.

The place is a bit dim, and the tables and chairs were not too fancy and quite uncomfortable. Seating capacity is pretty much around 20pax. Airconditioning of the area is pretty good though.

I'd say I had a really good experience. I'd visit again but I need to cut down on the pork. Maybe I'll try their Chicken wings next time.

Gave a 4 for the place.

Wasn't expecting to have a place like this so close to my apartment. A little small if you're a big group, since it seems a little limited in terms of space. Cozy and intimate and honestly, quite relaxing. The place is very accessible, just have yourself by the corner of P. Tuazon and 17th Ave. and you're at Big Daddy Jay's.

Litimed parking space, unless you want to park by the side of the already narrow 17th ave.

Had to rush for this review. Food review will be updated soon.

Well I came here for the ribs, and it did not disappoint. It's very tender and tasty. I also ordered buffalo wings which taste good as well. The place was a bit small, while the Staffs are efficient.

First off the ambiance, its a small place that csn cater around 10 people, its near a big bldg which is a problem as the phone reception, both smart snd globe id bad and has no wifi, also the menu price list needs to be updated here (check pictures for reference) as the price went up for both the pork and chicken wings. The people from it was too lax, maybe due to thr fact that they only hsve a few customers during that time. Not vibrant and accommodating at all. Now lets go with the food. Ordered half a slab pf slow cooked smoked pork ribs. Im a fan of BBQ but with all honesty this is my first time eating smoke bbq for 4-7 hours. Its really good but without comparison, its kinds hard to give it s perfect score. Buttered rice isnt buttery at all. Will have to try the honey mustard wings next time though as per recommendation.

PS, theres no more couple or group package. What you see in the menu is what it is

Read a lot of great things about this place so couldn't wait to try it.

Went in on a Saturday night and place was quiet, just one other table. Menu has changed slightly from what's on Zomato which was a bit disappointing.

No more brisket, and no more group meals. They now only do ribs, pork belly (on the menu but wasn't available), chicken wings and pasta.

Ordered the full rack of ribs, plus chicken wings, rice and potatoes.

Ribs were full of meat and you could taste the smokey flavour. Could of done with a bit more sauce on them but were tasty and did fall of the bone easily!

Wings were great too! Rice and potato portions were a bit small, but saying that I could eat another grain of rice after finishing the ribs!

Wasn't much of an atmosphere in the place and the sever wasn't very engaging.

This place is all about the ribs. And the ribs didn't disappoint!

I really enjoy hearing about food success stories. Restaurants, such as Manang's Chicken, that began as humble food stalls in Mercato Centrale, and quickly evolved into a Filipino fast food Chicken powerhouse. .         I would honestly love to see the same level of success happen to Big Daddy Jay's All American BBQ. I first discovered Big Daddy Jay's last year at Soderno, where I was immediately blown away by how incredibly tender their ribs were, and how every bite was packed with an intense smokey flavor. It's almost as if this is what all ribs want to be like when they grow up.
