The Maki's are awesome!🤩 But the rAmen not so.... its just ok. Its quite dissapointing because the Maki's are great. Maybe its better to try first the ramen before the Maki. Then it will be a better experience. 😊 The service is good, the staff is very attentive, and has very professional vibe. 🤩
I'm just a recent sushi-eater and this place really is the bomb when it comes to very flavorful and really savory sushi and rolls! Price is totally worth it! Would love to come back again and again!
Love this place! The food is amazing, though recently their customer service has become a bit lackluster. Their sushi rolls are great and their ramen is okay.
Would recommend:
OMG Roll
Cherry Blossom Roll
Super Roku Roll
Volcano Roll
Chicken Karaage
I definitely miss their nigiri sampler, though. I wish they hadn't removed it from the menu.
I love noodles and this one is great. I really like their Ramen and Don bori, sadly their Pag-asa branch is already close. It is one of my choices whenever I crave for Japanese dishes. Hoping I will come back and dine with my family here. But suggesting that they may improve their service quality(staffs).
My go-to for Japanese food along Katipunan! I like sushi and sashimi on the spicy side, so I recommend their Spicy Tuna Salad, Firecracker Roll, and Jalapeño Poppers. For a more substantial meal, try their Gyudon. Service is always friendly, if sometimes not prompt--their prices are student-friendly and the food is great, so expect to share the space with lots of noisy kids on some nights. Better to come here for lunch or during non-peak hours.
What we had:
Wagyu poke ball, dream roll, chicken karaage, 🍚
What I loved:
A wide selection of delicious Japanese food at an affordable price. The wagyu cubes are cooked well but the meat was very tender and flavorful. The chicken was good too, but the rice is even better— it’s sticky that you can really eat it with the chopsticks, without being overcooked.
I find that the batter tends to overpower the salmon in the dream roll, but it was nonetheless good. Serving was generous given the price. I’d like to try more of their menu next time. 👌🏼
Great place for your Japanese food cravings! Great rolls, sushi and sashimi! Very chill and cosy atmosphere also! very kind staff! Recommend! Will be going back!
A lot of people are sleeping on Roku's Ramen. Pork Tonkotsu ramen is affordable, rich, flavorful, and is portioned quite well. The noodles are firm. Tried their Roku Roll as well. Was not disappointed. The place exceeded my expectations.

+4
Found a new place for affordable sushi rolls, poke bowls, and tempura!
We ordered a few rolls. I actually forgot the names of a few (was distracted by friends).
I'm sure we got:
1. California roll
2. Firecracker roll
3. Salmon poke bowl
4. Miso soup
5. Ebi tempura
6. Mixed tempura
7. Hot and cold tea
8. And one more order of sushi that I forgot the name of. Hahaha.
It was a nice experience overall. Their service is nice. You have to go through the Oracle. Roku is on the fifth floor.
We'll go back and order more sushi and tempura.
This Japanese restaurant is not so visible and easy to miss when you’re in Katipunan area. It’s located at the 5th floor of Oracle (there’s Amici and White Tree Korean Cafe at the ground floor).
My usual order here is the Pork Katsudon (Php199). Tastes like the typical Katsudon at an affordable price. They also have a wide selection of Sushi to try.
Nothing too fancy here, but if ever you find yourself in Katipunan and craving for Japanese food, Roku can be a good place.
