Simply THE BEST fil-mex food on this side of town. A personal fave is the Kare-Kare burrito which is packed full of crispy pork, pechay, and rice doused in that peanut sauce. The bagoong is great as well.
I’ve been going to Buen Comer since 2018! I already tried a lot from their menu but my current fave is Steak and Fries. The steak is so soft and perfectly cooked. Every. Single. Time. Talk about consistency!!
Japanese Wrap, Nacho Crisps, and Kare-Kare Burrito is also a must-try.
Expect a full house and street parking at 8 in the evening on Fridays. You’ll need to order and pay at their cashier.
I highly recommend their nachos and Kare-kare burrito! They used real potato slices for their nachos. You can opt to separate the bagoong (shrimp paste) from your burrito. Their burritos are good for 2 persons.
Finally, I was able to try the food in this place! The location is accessible and you can park along the side of the road. The place is not air-conditioned and simple but it is spacious. We tried their chicken quesadilla and burrito which both tasted really delicious and flavourful. The price are relatively lower compared to other Mexican restaurants but their serving size is huge. Really loved their food!
Steak and fries burrito and their nacho chips are a must try. The place usually gets packed during the weekends so go early or try them on weekdays.
Try their steak and fries burrito.
One burrito is already good for two.
Very polite staff.
You get so much more of what you get for.
below are pics of kare kare burrito and cheese quesadillas. both taste good too.
We went on a weekday night where there is less crowd.
Tried the buffalo wings, steak and quesadillas.I like their sauces and the ambience.Hope they invest in good food containers / plates to add value to their food.
This is a good find in Teachers Village. Happy that my friend knows about this and suggested we meet up here. Everything we had were great, not to mention affordable. As a garage restaurant (literally in a garage) you can’t really commend the ambiance, but its deliciously filling food is something to recommend.
Everything we ordered was fantastic! Aside from the fact that the food was delicious, you’d also get your money’s worth from the serving size.
The chicken burrito had the right amount of flavor in it, and I also enjoyed the Japanese styled chicken wrap. The servings themselves were so good, technically you don’t need the condiments anymore. BUT you should still add them because it elevates the food to a next level.
As for the ambiance, don’t expect an airconditioned place. They don’t have a great service too (no water), but overall a great experience. I would definitely come back.
