My parents are picky eaters and when they like a particular restaurant it only means that the food is very good. We had the pochero with thick tomato based broth and with just the right amount of tender meat and crisp veggies. I can tell this one cooked over low heat for a long time. The stuffed laing is to die for...filled with ground pork and cooked in creamy coconut cream with just the right amount of heat. The poqui poqui rolls were crispy abd when you bite into it savory soft yung eggplant which is best dipped in the sweet chili sauce..Foodwise I give you 4 1/2 stars out of 5 and service wise I give you a 6 out of 5. I have never been in a restaurant where you are treated not just as a client but as a VIP.F rom the valet parking and the guards usher you into the place with umbrellas and all the staff and waiters are so gracious and attentive. And that earns them as the best place for Pinoy food at an affordable price. Will definitely be back...
Limbaga 77 is my new favorite restaurant! Staff are attentive. Free valet service. So pretty place. The food loves me kaya I love them too. Bitin lang ako sa dessert. It will be the ultimate Tita restaurant once it perfects its dessert menu. With tea please!
Yummy Filipino food! Chill, relaxed ambiance. Great place to have dinner and catch up with friends / family. Ordered beef salpicao, pork sisig, and bicol express! They gave us complimentary dessert because of a minor incident. Loved how they handled the situation, kudos to the staff :) Will definitely come back and use my zomato gold here.
Ganda ng ambiance. yung mga server ganda ng uniform bukod don ok din ang service tas ang sarap ng food ❤
Their stuffed laing is outstanding! One of the restos that serves real food in Tomas Morato area.
Limbaga 77, Tomas Morato
🇵🇭

What I love:
❤️ Limbaga 77 Baked Paksiw: so tender and flavorful! Was worried that it might be too fatty, but it was 👌
❤️ Limbaga 77 Stuffed Laing: Clearly, the dishes with Limbaga 77 deserves to be recommended. This was SUPER GOOD (but a tad sweet). Serving size is kinda small though
❤️ Chicken Binakol Soup: This was very flavorful. Personally though, I thought kulang ang buko. Ombu Kusina's soup has so much more in it!
Meh, pass:
🙅♀️ Kare kare: Flavor was bland. Bagoong was good, and the beef was tender though
🙅♀️ Binusog na pusit: The squid was gummy...
Staff and manager did not agree when to take Zomato. Staff cannot explain what pares is.
Try the seafood chop suey and beef kaldereta. They were awesome.
Being away from home for a month made me miss our local cuisine tenfold. Just thinking about how a single whiff of sinigang would make me drool drives me crazy. And it was an easy decision for us to pick Limbaga 77 for dinner after a long trip abroad.
Hello, Limbaga 77.
Limbaga 77 is a homey Filipino restaurant tucked inside the semi-residential area of Tomas Morato. It has been one of the highly rated restaurants in the area by Zomato users and it definitely made me excited to try some of its bestsellers.
Nothing but great experience at Limbaga 77! Great food in good ambience!
Rare moments that we get to eat around Timog Area and thank you Google we were able to find this nice place. 4+ rating so we were also curious and thankfully it didn’t disappoint. Not really into sweet tasting ulam so I didn’t like the Pochero. The Pampano and Pancit Bihon were sooooooo good! I loved it! ❤️
For Sunday brunch last weekend, my family and I ordered:
Stuffed laing
- This is really a wow! Serving is pretty small but the flavours packed into it will really go a long way (especially drizzled over rice) Unlike other laing dishes, the coconut milk taste does not overpower the dish, nor did it become too salty. Def my top 1 dish here
Limbaga 77 Baked Lechon Paksiw
- For someone who’s really fond of the crunchy lechon balat, I was pleasantly surprised by this dish. The pork was soooo tender, but the fat was solid enough to hold its shape and give a bit of a chew, which is a good thing. Even though it’s only comprised of 3-4 slices, this dish is for sharing because the slices are thickkk
Sweet and Sour Fish
- I’m a really big fan of sweet and sour dishes so this was a bit of a comfort dish for me. The Filipino counterpart of sweet and sour is escabeche and it tastes like that, with the additional surprise of sili added in the sauce, giving the dish a kick of spice. The fish was big and crisp, the perfect contrast to the sauce
Quezo de Bola Cheesecake
- This was really yum too!! The cheesecake itself is not too sweet, and it’s not heavy on the palate at all! The caramel sauce at the bottom enhances the whole taste profile as well. The cake is 4 inches so it’s really for sharing
Overall, Limbaga 77 is a good place to bring your family to (especially since it has Zomato Gold 👀👀) Ambiance and service also A+
