Spotted this vegetarian restaurant in Tomas Morato... Of course I tried their menu... I ordered Roasted Veggies Wrap, Grilled Mushroom and Tofu Kebab, and Dalandan Juice... I like their Roasted Veggies Wrap... It has eggplant, onion, bell pepper, zucchini, lettuce, and pesto... I enjoyed every bite with vegan mayo and hot sauce... I love their Grilled Mushroom and Tofu Kebab with red and green bell pepper, zucchini, and shallots... I enjoyed it with balsamic reduction... Their freshly squeezed Dalandan juice is superb... It has a bite of its pulp in every sip... Woooowww!!! Busog!!! Hehe!!! Will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant... I love Greens!!!
I never had a better food since I turn vegan ! Thanks you so much guys ! If I come again in manilla I'll be back at greens !
This is my favorite restaurant in Tomas Morato. I became a veggie lover here. I always order the grilled mushroom & tofu kebabs. And I really love their sisig and carbonara. :D
Super affordable vegan food just within the neighborhood! The vegan kare kare was good, as well as the tofu bbq and the pesto pasta (good serving!) Not fan of the sisig though, but excited to try their other dishes :)
Number of times visited: More than 2X
Parking: Street parking
Food: I came here the first time with moderate expectations but I I was pleasantly surprised that I would enjoy eating in a vegetarian resto. I love coming back here. So far, I have enjoyed all the dishes we have ordered through the years. However, my favorites has got to be the "sisig" and the fried mushroom appetizer.
Price: Affordable.
Service: Attentive and service is quite fast
Place: The place is found in the less busy side streets of Tomas Morato. Like many of the dining establishments in Morato area, place looks like a home converted into a resto. You get a homey feel and the surrounding gardens make you forget that you are within a busy area.
Repeat: Once in a while we try to go back here.
One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Quezon City. A quiet, cozy place to dine. Always recommend this place. Food is affordable and fresh.
If you are near the area and your palette is looking for something new, go to Greens! The food is mirrored at it's best to present the original meat version of itself. Plus, they have the delivery option so you can enjoy great vegetarian meals at the comfort of your home.
My mom's favorite restaurant and that speaks a lot since she is never a fan of dining out. She is a good cook so her standards for good food are skyrocket high. Yummy food without the guilt ans calories. Affordable too. Homey, relaxing interiors and efficient staff. Food takes a while to be served but it is worth the wait. Brought my boyfriend here and he liked the service and the food, too. The barbecue and kebab are my all-time favorite.
Greens seems to be a popular vegan-friendly place hidden within the corners of the Scout area in QC. Street parking is limited, although they have a designated empty lot where diners can park. I highly encourage you to not leave valuables in your car as there are no CCTV cameras and only a single guard roving the parking area. The restaurant has a very homey feel and the menu is straightforward. I find their servings a bit small though. The dishes are tasty but tend to give you that "bitin" factor. I like that they also sell vegan and vegetarian-friendly products in the store.
We tried the Sweet and Sour "Fish" and the Greens Vegetarian Barbecue both with rice. I haven't had regular barbecue since 2017 and I'm happy that the vegetarian barbecue did not disappoint, flavor and texture-wise. Prices are affordable. You can order a lot with a P500-P1000 peso budget.
Perfect vegan food in a relaxed atmosphere. The dining room is nicely decorated. Polite service. Jazzy background music. Did try the fish relleno and tofu kebab are excellent... And healthy. Of course.
We went here for lunch on mother's day. It was our first time eating at this place. The place feels very home-y, and they serve here vegetarian food.
Servers were very nice. It was a bit hot inside the restaurant as we still asked them to open the fan; but they were kind to accomodate our request.
Food here was above average. Our only comment was that food was somehow bland. It lacks salt and pepper to enhance flavor. We also would want to have more cheese in the pastas please😁. I liked their adobo so much as well as the mango banana shake and the salad. The adobo was flavorful like a typical adobo cooked at home or other restos. Mango banana shake is delicious. I tasted a well balanced mango and banana in the drink. And the salad has a variety of crunchy vegetables with enough dressing. Pesto pasta should be a delicious one if they added more salt to it to enhance flavor.
My suggestion is to put some salt and pepper shakers on each table because what is bland for us might not be so for others. By doing this, dinners will have the option to add or not some more.
Below are some pics from what we ate
Love this restaurant. We had the sisig, embutido, and the parmigiana and we LOVED it. This restaurant is heaven sent for those who are trying to transition to a vegetarian diet but are still craving traditional Filipino dishes.
