Just the place I was looking for! I'm so thankful. I didn't know that they had fruit smoothies, but I was happy to find out when I first visited. And they're not pricey. The music and general atmosphere is great for study. There is a good Wi-Fi connection and electric sockets. Friendly staff. Motivating words on the walls. I love this place.
wi-fi is fast...food tastes great... drinks are the best... cr is clean... ambiance is a WOW! my kids really enjoyed the food and the place.

This was my go-to study place during my undergraduate years. I love their hot chocolate and tea. All the staff are friendly.

The place has positive vibes and the environment is quiet. Their coffee has perfect aroma but taste is just ok. Food and drinks are just so-so but you’ll get what you pay for. They have relatively low prices compared to other coffee shops. I’ve tried almost all of their drinks and I like the Mountain Mocha over ice. For their pasta, try cheesy beef tomato or chicken pesto. Overall, this is a perfect place to study or work as they also have outlets and free wifi. It’s also great place to chill. They have many interesting books which customers can read while sipping a cup of coffee.

Because of our endless errands today, we didn’t have time for some coffee. So around 10pm after the mall closes, I really searched for a coffee shop just within Quezon City. Lucky for me, I saw Laruan Atbp. that’s still open until 12am. Hubby was already tired and wanted to go home but lucky for him (too), he has a wifey who’s so stubborn that really wanted some coffee time. 😂
As we are entering Teacher’s Village, we saw this coffee shop: Hillcrest Wellness Cafe, that’s still open so I asked the baristas and found out that they are up until 1am. We decided to stay here instead. The place was packed with visitors that’s why we were forced to stay in a table just under the dripping aircon.
Inside the coffee shop, the wall was decorated with bible verses and some books. They have worship songs as their background music. They also sell some stuffs with bible verses and quotes.
I ordered hot Mountain Mocha (Php130) in tall size while hubby had his Cappuccino Frappé in tallest size ( Php160). All I can say about the drink I had was: super Sarap! They actually gave me a 2 sachet of brown sugar but I returned it to them because the blend of mocha was just perfect for me. 😍 Their coffee is a cold brew (18-24 hrs brewing), no wonder why it tastes divine! Hubby’s drink was also good. I liked how they put cinnamon on it (my usual frappe drink: always with ground cinnamon). I was surprised when I tasted it and asked the barista for confirmation. Haha! Overall, I enjoyed our stay here minus the dripping aircon of course. We were fortunate, we transferred seat after our drink arrived. Definitely one of the best mocha drink I had so far (after mocha frappuccino of SB ✌️). Hope to come back here soon.
Okay. This review is a product of two visits I made to Hillcrest Cafe. My first was before the cafe underwent a renovation and the other, after the facelift. I could say that Hillcrest looks better now, "feels" better now. The airconditioning was a bit cooler now and the lighting, better now. In short, I like the new Hillcrest.
I visited with my nephew one afternoon to have something warm and something sweet. Since both of us had our lunches already we settled on a sinfully-looking chocolate cake and hot Moroccan Tea served on a transparent mug. While waiting for the tea to cool down a bit, we started on the cake. Though not the best, it was good nonetheless. It was moist, deliciously bitter and very chocolatey. My tea? I'm not used to taking my tea sweetened but it was and I loved it.
I'm planning to do a revisit and try one of their sandwiches. Of course, with Mint Tea steeping in steaming water.

We ordered Mountain Mocha Frappe and Banana Mango Crepe. The frappe was nice but may hinahanap akong taste sa kanya. Yung crepe is better kung mainit sya.

First na punta namin, not available yung mga orders. Umalis nalang kami.
They serve good food and good coffee for an affordable price! If you’re looking for a place to study, they have a lot of outlets and comfy chairs. Downside here is that they only turn on one aircon unit so it could get quite hot.
I’ve been here a couple of times btw (I’d say around 5-6 times already), I usually stay here when I know I’ll stay in a cafe to study for a few hours
Perfect place for studying! The cafe was a little bit smaller than expected, but there wasn't a lot of people when I visited so it was more of a cozy vibe than overcrowded. The chairs are comfortable, even the wooden ones. Service was a bit slow, too. There are a lot of sockets for charging and fast wifi. I love the ambience especially after dark. Would love to go back again!
A place to just plain chill? I recommend Hillcrest Cafe! Me and my sister went here for the first time before heading home on a Friday night and we had a taste of comfort. The ambience was nice along with the playlist they had on loop. The menu was promising but we opted to go sweet and healthy! We’ll definitely visit again! 😃

It's my first time to grind in Hillcrest and I am so happy that I landed here! The place is suitable for long nights of papers, a lot of sockets, fast wifi and yummy drinks! My new go to place for long nights of working!
