My friends and i are looking for a place where we can chitchat and eat as well, we try out this bistro and were so happy with the place, its so comfy, the food was great with their big servings specially their sea food and beef-set meal.. kudos to the team,, i highly recommend this
I must say I wanted to try this place for lunch and I am amazed what a great eating and tea experience this bistro turned out. Fast service, great food! Me and my girl tried a combination of plates. Very pleasing if you're a foodie as well. I would highly recommend this place... Especially if your looking for a taste of fine American cuisine...
It's quite a decent place. Great ambiance for a side street cafe, and their playlist is well selected. Good food.
Service is great. My fiancé ordered a chicken sandwich with avocados. When she ate it, she realized there were no avocados. We told the waitress; she went to the kitchen in case they forgot. Avocados were out of stock.
For the trouble, the waitress gave us pumpkin soup instead (worth P100). Great service! :)
I ordered Bagnet with eggs. Bagnet was great. Pumpkin soup was tasty 👌
Clean and convenient. Price prohibitive for most to eat here on a daily basis. They can easily rake a lot of 5 stars if they're open 24/7. There are a lot of residents and employees that will benefit if it's open round the clock.
They have authentic tasting milktea. You would know right away that they are using real tea for their milktea. The place is good. Homie feels. The pastries are just okay. We ordered Muscovado Milktea and Blueberry cupcakes
Been here twice. Place a bit small but doesn't get crowded so you can stay for a little longer. Food is great and serving is acceptable. Cool place to chill and relax.
Just like the phenomenon attached to the mystical creature, unicorn, this tea and bistro give you just as much charm and delight. On this recent visit, I truly enjoyed all the dishes me and Mia indulged in, from appetizers to desserts.
Unicorn Tea and Bistro is a quaint location that features world luxurious teas and continental cuisine, food from the European continent. It's a relatively new establishment that is run by a family.
If you are a tea drinker, this is a must destination for you! They have a vast collection of teas using the finest leaves from different countries, some of its varieties are even hard to find. Unicorn pairs that love for tea with comfortable seats and homey ambiance.
We had a memorable feast! Initially, I was going for something light but ended up ordering more because of their interesting meals at affordable prices. My favorite here was a creative sandwich they coined ABC (Php 175). It has fresh avocado, smoky bacon strips and grilled chicken breast on wheat bread. It was a wonderful big bite after another.
We also had an al dente pasta in the form of Aglio Olio (Php 210). It had generous portions of shrimps, sun-dried tomato and garlic, drizzled with parmesan cheese. I usually defer having pasta, but this was really delicious!
Unicorn Tea & Bistro's take on Baby Back Ribs (Php 460) was special as well. It was fall-of-the-bone with a strong flavor to it. Simple plain rice was a perfect compliment to it, nothing more.
If you are a fan of comfort food, they also have sinful offerings. Mia and I got their Spam Fries, Onion Rings and Potato Wedges (Php 195). This is ideal for sharing while munching on other food. I like that all of it was not greasy at all.
On sweets, I had Milo Godzilla, a specialty drink filled with milo, blended with milk and ice. We got to try cupcakes of sorts, meringue and Brazo de Mercedes.
I am glad I discovered this hole in the wall. I suggest you check them out too and find more about this kind of unicorn mystery.
Items on their menu are a pricier than you'd expect, and personally haven't tried their food yet, but I would recommend their classic milk tea and pumpkin soup (only for 100!). Milk tea: not too sweet, rich flavor, some people would probably like it better with a bit of salt. Pumpkin soup: you can really taste the pumpkin and the serving is fairly generous for one person. Overall, decent place to chill/study.
I started coming here regularly, initially to sample their iced teas (different selections and very unique! Comes in seasons, literally). But soon I started trying their food, which was honestly good and satisfying. Their candied bacon salad, which is my favorite, is so filling; and the serving is nice as well. Definitely coming back here for more. Good luck!
Loved their tea selection; it was truly something different to come across a bona-fide tea place that's not very upmarket, but still serves quality tea and food. Appreciated the Milo Dinosaur on the menu. For food, their ABC Sandwich is a sure winner--unique enough for it to be especially remembered as something only from Unicorn Tea, but familiar enough to make customers order it out if curiosity.
3.5 ⭐The place is lovely, well lit, nice ambiance, it stands as a good place for tea and chit chat with friends. I did try to have some work done here about a month ago, ordered one of their tea blends and their spam fries, potato wedges and onion rings platter and they were good, so I had high expectations on my 2nd visit, but I was disappointed.
No question, place looks pretty, servers are nice, but the food didnt live up to my expectations.
Onion soup 3/5 - Soup was bland, it had a big baguette on top of it. But I guess it was too big that all it did was absorb the soup till there was just none to enjoy.
Porkchop and corn 3.5/5 - Porkchop was tender, marinade was okay. Coleslaw that came with it was well balanced. Just the righ amount of dressing.
Milo dinosaur drink 3/5 - Iced milo with whipped cream.
Smores bacon 1/5 - The description said it was a waffle base with marshmallows, candied bacon, whipped cream and ice cream. So the waitress did say that the waffle maker was broken but that the cooks could make something waffle like. So I said okay. Then it came, first off, when they served it, ice cream was melted already! The biggest disappointment was the base! It was so dense! I was expecting maybe a light and fluffy pancake! My 3 year old who loves waffles and pancakes just had 2 bites and that was it. We just ate 1/4 of it because we couldn't take its taste and consistency. This was a big let down. The saving grace was the ice cream.
UPDATE: came backk and ordered their smores bacon again. This time it is a 5/5. Good job!
Will give the place another try sometime, ordering a different set of food.
