Food: I L-O-V-E THE FOOD! I highly recommend their Deep Fried Oyster in X.O Sauce, Beef Tenderloin Garlic and Buchi. Large servings.
Ambiance: Good. Well-lighted. I like the interior design.
Service: Great! Servers are attentive to their customer’s needs
Price: A little pricey but soooo worth it. You definitely get what you pay for.
Overall: 4.8/5 one of the best restaurants I’ve been to.

Delicious food, friendly staff, Nice ambiance and parking space..perfect place for me.
Food was delicious. A great place for family gatherings and celebrations.
Good food at a reasonable price.Highly recommended.
Very nice place, food as good as their Banawe branch yet very reasonable makes me plan my next visit to Mandarin Sky Wok. Very recommendable.
very satisfied and excellent service!
keep it up!
Wow , The food that we ate yesterday was very delicious, I love it
The place is kind of small and unorganised. It was full when we got there so we waited and the servers were not that responsive to us. No one was actually at the entrance and accommodating us since they were all so busy serving other customers. The food tasted delicious specially the beef and the shrimp salad. Kind of pricey tho specially the lapu lapu. They have a lot of choices!
It's honestly one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. They have great food and big serving. Their big serving doesn't also necessarily make your pockets empty. The servers are nice and accomodating. The room is well ventilated.
Took as a while to get in since we forgot to reserve seats ahead of time and it was a saturday night. It was a great dining experience for my birthday dinner eith family nonetheless.
I had doubts as to how good the food and ambience will be prior to being invited to dinner at this place. I was also told that parking will not be easy. Fact is, there are are probably around 15 parking slots inside the compound aside from 4 parking spaces used by a carwash. The food was superb. Fresh ingredients are used and cooking skills at par with the better chinese restaurants out there. Waiters were courteous and attentive. Will definitely recommend!
This is a gem of a Chinese restaurant. Delectable food, very instagrammable interiors and impeccable service.
Food - 5/5
We got hakaw, cold cuts combination, seafood with spinach soup, deep fried oysters with XO sauce, sizzling beef tenderloin, steamed kingfish with sesame soy sauce, yang chow rice, birthday pancit and iced mango sago. Highlights are the ff: the hakaw has this thin crepe like skin with firm, fresh shrimps; the oysters in XO sauce is superb with plump oysters in the sweet spicy sauce; the steamed kingfish was the freshest and smells of ginger and sesame oil. Truly scrumptious!
Ambience - 4.5/5
They have very instagrammable wall art and fixtures. None of those tired, old Chinese restaurant dilapidated tables and chairs. Very well curated hardware and amply spaced even for someone who was walking with crutches. The Chinaware they use to serve their food is beautiful in its blue and white patterns.
Service - 5.5/5
I gave them more than 5 simply because the order takers were kind enough not to upsell us to the bigger serving of a certain dish just to sell more. They knowingly advised me to just get a small sized order for a dish that will fit a group of 5. They also advised me to get a small sized dessert rather than individual servings as it will be more economical. Stellar service, prompt attention and courteous... what more can you ask for?
As of this writing, I have gone back 2 more times and they were consistently good.
We ate here for my tito's post-birthday celebration. It's also my first time here and I'm really impressed with their food! Their pancit (please look at the pic attached) with soup is very delicious and filling for the tummy. Their fried rice is good, no complaints about it. Their fish is very tender and soft, which I like very much. Lastly, their Hakaw is delicious and the wrapper itself is tasty too! Be careful to wait for it to cool down before biting into their hakaw.
I'd definitely come here again if I ever crave for Chinese food.
How did I not know about this place before? This is fine Chinese food at reasonable prices, folks. Very busy when I went with friends, we were lucky to get a table. All the classic dishes are here, but made exceptionally well (not nakakaumay) and this is why the place is very successful. We ordered: oysters in XO sauce, prawns with pecans, Szechuan goat (!), beef cubes in black pepper garlic, and fried rice. This spread would cost 200 dollars in Hong Kong, but here we spent 50! I highly recommend this place, just make sure you go to the Panay Ave. branch (I think they have more branches) for the atmosphere and service.
placed got ample of parking space shared with 2 other restaurants. place is smaller compared to banawe branch but got 1 private room with 2 round table full 12 person per table for parties. place is cozy & elegantly decorated interiors & plates utensils similar to ming dynasty blue insignias. interiors astonishingly oppulent specially for chinese restaurants not located inside 5 star hotel. service fast efficient & professional. prices seems medium to higher end. must try dish EEL RICE & squid kotong malaysian style & suckling pig cold cuts & champagne spare ribs. great place for impressing corporate guest or balikbayan friends
A must try for chinese food lovers! Peppercorn Squid melts in your mouth goodness you can only taste here in Mandarin Sky. Best Mango Sago Dessert loaded with mango bits. Fast service and Very efficient kitchen..you get your order less than 15mins. Prices are very reasonable.
Loved the interiors of the place. Good service and good food except for the suckling pig cold cuts. The suckling pig had that piggy taste , if you know what I mean 😣.
I finally had the chance to dine at this place. I have always seen this place full, when we dined at Artsy and Komedor, situated just beside it. Upon entering, I asked for a table for one, which I guess unusual for them, coz they asked me a couple of times, and obviously their set up of tables are for huge gatherings, but they managed to gave me a seat anyway. The ambiance was kinda cozy, and the diners were mostly Chinese. Their dishes were all served on small, medium, and large sizes; and since I'm alone, I ordered the small servings. Sadly, there's no Beef Tendon on their Menu. I ordered Dried Hofan with Beef, Shanghai Spring rollls, Yang Chow Fried Rice, and Sweet and Sour Pork with Pineapple, again in all small servings. Their service was fast, considering how full the resto was that time. The Beef Hofan wasn't very oily (which is definitely good), although it could've been a little tastier. Nonetheless, It's delicous and it's the first one that I've finished. Yang Chow was full of meat, shrimps, and veggies. It's good that it's taste is not overwhelming to be paired with other dishes, but it's not the type of Yang Chow that can be eaten without another dish. The Spring Rolls were kinda unusual, the skin wasn't crunchy, and the meat part is more like of a Kikiam, it was a little gooey. But still it's delicious and unique. The Sweet and Sour Pork with Pineapple is my favorite. It's the type of SSP that is more of sweetness rather than sour. I love how it goes well with the Yang Chow. So far, for me this is my type of SSP, so it's the best one that I tasted ever. The Small serving is definitely good for 3 persons, I wonder how huge is their Large serving.
The Staffs we're definitely attentive, and very fast. Although, not all of them seems to know much of the menu. They are all friendly, and very accommodating. I even overheard their Manager(which more looks like the owner) talking over the phone (coz I'm sitting next to the counter) addressing and apologizing for some concerns. It's good that they are serious about costumer satisfaction.
Overall, this place is great for family gatherings, or simply in groups (the crowd could be a little intimidating if you come here alone). Their Chinaware was cool, and the Staffs were great too. You will definitely get your money's worth with the whole dining experience. My bill was Php 1,080, and that's good for 3 people already. This will be my go to place whenever I want to eat SSP.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant! You have to be willing to wait in line especially on weekends. Parking is better than their Banawe branch but seating capacity is limited.
We were there around 4 in the afternoon ; about 2 tables being served. The place impressed us, particularly the private seating in your own private space.
Since this was the first time to visit the restaurant, we took some time to go through the menu. We decided to try some dimsum & noodles. The food arrived after 20 minutes. That was not a problem. The bill, after we asked for it had to be followed up for the second time. :(
They have a Mon-Thurs lunch promo for rice bowls less than 200php!
🔹Lechon rice bowl- meat was kinda thin, but good enough for the price
🔹Spareribs rice bowl- tasty and better than the lechon
🔹Hakaw, Beancurd, Taro ball- all dimsums were very good! Fresh and juicy
Service: servers were attentive and nice
Ambiance: interior was nice
Mandarin Sky Wok is an branch of Mandarin Sky of Banawe. Beside it are its sister restaurants, Artsy Cafe and Komedor, which is a coffee shop / breakfast place and Filipino resto, respectively.
TIPS:
MUST ORDER #1: Fried Oysters in XO Sauce. Hmmmm gooooood. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
MUST ORDER #2: Avocado Sago (for dessert) Aaaaaaand we have a winner! It's more watery here than in Mandarin Sky but no less compelling, surprisingly enough. 🌟🌟🌟🌟1/2
MUST ORDER #3: Garlic Beef Cubes (off menu) sweet beef, like Chinese beef tenderloin, but with garlic and sesame seeds. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
MUST ORDER #4: Polo Pao, sweet crusted soft bun with Adobo inside. Their own version of the ones popularized by the likes of Tim Ho Wan, Tao Yuan, the 8 by Choi Garden, etc.
The others we tried,
Yang Chow fried rice 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Suckling Pig 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Dragon Balls 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (shrimp and pork inside a deep fried wanton cover, good but not fabulous like others I've tried) plus it took so darned long to serve, like 30 minutes, which the waitress forgot to tell us; we were done by the time we tried it!

Resto has nice interiors. Ordered all seafood - crystal prawns, fried oyster and malaysian squid. Loved them all especially the malaysian squid. Even the kids liked it!
This is our new go-to Chinese restaurant. We have eaten at their Banawe branch before but I never liked it. Their Banawe branch is too dirty, too crowded and noisy, food was too oily and every time I eat there my tummy reacts negatively.
So I was pleasantly surprised to find their branch in Panay to be the opposite. The ambiance is younger and fresher, the food isn't that oily (it is still oily but now it is "regular-level" oily) and best of all - the restaurant is clean!
Service is also very good - they are very attentive. The unique service I've experienced here is their parking! Parking in this compound is limited but they have a parking lot a block away. You can park there and they will have their driver drive you back to the resto. Once you're done eating, he will drive you back to the parking lot. Not bad!
Now for the food. So far everything we've ordered have been good. Best one is their garlic beef tenderloin. I'm not a fan of Sweet and Sour Pork but I became a convert here. Theirs is really good! It's not very flour-y! My brothers love their fried oysters with radish which you dip in vinegar. It is very good but this I find very oily so it's not my favorite. It will be amazing paired with ice cold beer though.
They also serve dimsum (which I plan to try today) and hotpot which I think is also good coz a lot of people eat hotpot there.
Try it out!
Ambience is great, my sister loved the interior.
Service is wonderful! Staff very attentive although not all of them are familiar with the menu and can recommend which are good.
The food, we ordered stuffed chicken, steamed fish with tofu, seafood with asparagus and eggplant hotpot. We were not disappointed.

Mandarin Sky Wok. Good food. Good ambiance. Wonderful decors. Those lamps! I wanted to dismantle the seat upholstery and take it home. Haha.

Parking: available. If the parking in their immediate vicinity is full, there is one within a two- to three-minute walking distance.
Staff: It would be better for all of them to be more knowledgeable about the food in their menu, especially those who take orders. Also, for the cashier and those who take orders to note which dishes are cancelled.
What happened: (1) We ordered from prawns from the sze chuan menu, but apparently their sze chuan sauce (or whatever they use for their sze chuan meals) wasn't available. So the staff returns to our table, informed us, and inquired for a different meal. Come billing time, the original order was still there, on top of the replacement. Good thing we -always- scrutinize the bill. (2) Corrected bill comes back, say 1275. We give the card, bill comes back for signing, husband signs. Then he realizes the cashier punched in 1257 instead of 1275. If this is a frequent thing, wawa management. The annoying part for me was, the cashier that time was making small talk and laughing with another staff instead of paying attention to the other staff talking to her regarding the bill.
With that said, the the busboys and servers were very attentive. Inquired if all the food were already served. Asked if we needed anything. Kept our water glasses full. Good service. Yung cashier lang talaga =_=
Ambiance/place: I think the comment above nailed it. :) Really nice place. Good for a date, a family meal, a celebration. Oh, oh. Also. The china! Very pretty pieces :)
Food: we ended up ordering our usual: minced pork with string beans, salt and pepper spare ribs, yang chow fried rice. What's different: Their yang chow! The meat and shrimp weren't cut into small pieces.
Also, ordered kang kong sambal: really good. Not too spicy, not too salty.
Food photos to follow :)

Located in the same row of restaurants as Komedor and Artsy Cafe, Mandarin Sky Wok adds to the variety of dining choices in the area with its offerings of Chinese cuisine. Its interiors showcase Chinese aesthetics (wall decor showing traditional artwork, delicate paper lanterns and blue-painted plates and bowls). It also has an aquarium for those craving for fresh seafood.
My officemate and I were treated here by our boss for our #happylunch so we were able to try its dishes for free. :-)
We ordered a Hot and Sour Soup for starters, and Chinese food staples for our mains: Yang Chow Fried Rice, Lemon Chicken and Peppercorn Spare Ribs. While the soup was too sour and spicy for our taste, we love the blend of flavors among the rice, chicken and pork dishes.
On my next visit, I would love to sample the dimsum.
I got to visit Mandarin Sky Wok, in Panay Ave, Quezon City just recently. It is located at the recently established Marvin Center, where two other restaurants that their partner owners manage, are actually in (namely, Hapag and Artsy Cafe).
Growing up in a Fil-Chi community, I’ve already attended numerous events in the past whereas various culinary skills were showcased in prepping up Chinese cuisine. The food that I had here in Mandarin Sky Wok brought me back memories of those feasts.
The restaurant is giving off a very classy and sophisticated vibe. I love the contrast of the old paintings against the modernity of their furniture. Given the restaurant's beautiful setting, it's no wonder this place gets pack even on weekdays.
They got dimsum trolleys going around the place. The course was all kickstarted with a serving of beef balls, of which we were told by the owner that it's best paired with Worcestershire sauce. And indeed, it did taste well together, with the sauce giving in a unique twist to the dimsum.
Mandarin also took it with the trend with salted egg as they served us their salted egg custard cuapao. It didn't disappoint at all, with the soft custard giving off a nice and sweet contrast to the taste of salted egg. It was both fresh and light for the appetite.
The star dish of the night was their curry fish head, which was a fairly new creation by Mandarin Sky Wok's Singaporean chef. It bursts of a wild fusion of spices, with the curry flavor mostly highlighted in the dish. The dish also had lots of ginger in it.
I got overly excited upon seeing their eel over kiampung rice with lotus leaf since I used to eat this when I was a kid. The deep fried eel was delicious and it's best paired with their Chinese fried rice.
Their cereal prawns, on the other hand, could have been better if they weren't too greasy. I didn't like the amount of crumbs/flakes (?/whatever you put it) that they have put over the prawns, and in my opinion, I think it needed more seasoning too.
They have served us their sotong squid with shredded egg, and I haven't seen anything like it. It was unappetizing, and a sight for sore eye. How it looked like manifested too in its taste. It was too oily and didn't satisfy my palate at all.
I suggest that you try out Mandarin's beef cubes with garlic. The beef was tender, and it had this nice combination of sweet and salty flavors to it. This goes best with rice.
Since Mandarin Sky Wok was the last restaurant we visited on our food crawl, we were somewhat feeling full before arriving here, thus, I wasn't able to eat more than I should.
Anyway, as for my verdict about Mandarin Sky Wok and their food, I do think that they ought to open another branch if that's what they see themselves doing soon. I highly recommend for you to come by Mandarin Sky Wok and try out the food yourself.
I read a lot of bad reviews about this restaurant comparing that Mandarin Sky in Banawe is way better. In terms of food I would like to disagree because I find their food very tasty and good. We got the yang chow fried rice, special hot pot, pork siomai, lechon kawali and chicken feet. Of all, the best that I like is the chicken feet. I would say this is the best I've tasted from all Chinese restaurants that I've been. The serving of their food is quite generous and reasonably priced.
In terms of their service review I would have to agree. Staff does not know the content of their menu. And if you're going to ask them of their recommendation they are seem clueless of what the food in their menu tastes like. Service is too slow. If you're going to ask for something say water, you're going to follow up 3 to 4 times before it will be served to you.
Interior of this restaurant is very well done. We all loved it.
Our staple food. A place where you get good quality and value for your money. Best of both worlds as it offers one of the best-tasting Chinese cuisine from lauriat variety to shabu shabu. We are almost here every week as we can't get enough of their food! A default restaurant for most of our family and friends gatherings.
Apart from Mandarin Sky, they also have other restos located in their compound which are also highly recommended in my list---Komedor and Artsy Cafe.
Better to reserve as this place is almost always full house!
When parking is full, they have another lot where you can park and be chauffered back to the resto.
Definitely will come back, the food tastes great compared to other chinese restaurant especially their misua and stuffed chicken. Their fried crab was also very good, matching well with the spicy vinegar that came with it. Even the steamed fish was very tasty.
Mandarin Sky Wok was the third restaurant on our visit at Marvi Center. It has a dimsum trolley service until evening (remember, this isn't done in mainland China or Hong Kong), round tables with personal (or "solo") induction cooking stations per diner, and relaxed, modern interpretations of flowery Chinoiserie.
The owners have brought in a Singaporean Chinese chef to revamp the menu, so some of the things we tasted aren't on the menu yet. Top of this list was a gingery coconutty curry fish head dish; cereal prawns; tender (and can I say scrumptious) eel over kiampung rice on top of lotus leaf; and deep fried squid with shredded egg. The curry sauce had that a balanced, laksa-like flavor, while the eel was cooked till amazingly soft, the cloying, oily tasty of eel gently removed by the dish's tasty marinading.
The menu concedes, as I think it should, to Filipino tastes (Worcestershire and chili sauce dipping sauce accompanies a bamboo steamer tray of beef balls), and isn't behind on trendy dessert items like salted egg custard paos. It isn't afraid either to echo some of their interesting ingredients we've seen in its sister restaurants, like their fresh oysters made into a fritter dish.
Like many restaurants that serve Chinese food, the menu does NOT do the food justice, so I hope their staff do a good job of suggesting what dishes to order or describingwhat they will be like, if customers ask. A family all dressed in red was here to celebrate a loved one's birthday and ordered dish after dish after dish. Other overseas guests occupied the cubicle seats near the window and accessed the upscale drinks menu that accompanies the food, which has Japanese whisky as well as Chinese beer.
As with the best Chinese restaurants, therefore, don't be afraid to lean on their server recommendations as you become familiar with their menu.

The new Panay Kain Tulog ATBP Complex along Panay Avenue offers a variety of dining options all in one place, and if you're thinking of doing an epic food crawl, this is the perfect spot with three restaurants within the same complex. If it's Chinese flavors you're craving for, then you can start with Mandarin Sky Wok. The success of the first branch in Banawe led to the eventual opening of a second location in the new complex which includes two other restaurants and a hostel. Mandarin Sky Wok offers the same signature dishes served at their first branch, so it's all comfortingly familiar. Start with their Beef Balls served with a unique Worcestershire-based sauce, a different spin on the usual dipping sauce. The sharpness of the Worcestershire-sauce tempers the juicy richness of the beef balls for balanced notes. Not to be missed is their Deep-Fried Oysters in X.O. Sauce (P 350-Small/P 460-Medium/P 700-Large), with plump sweet oysters fried to a perfect crispness draped in a thick and flavorful sauce. If you love oysters, you'll definitely enjoy this. Their Beef Cubes with Garlic (P 490-Small/P 735-Medium/P 980-Large) and the Baked Eel on Rice are o other savory options for a comforting meal at Mandarin Sky Wok. But save room if you're seriously thinking of doing a food crawl, with two more dining establishments located right beside Mandarin Sky Wok...
We had a meeting just this morning at mandarin sky wok and we had some brunch dimsum in between the talks. This is the same owner as the mandarin sky along banawe food street. The dimsum was okay but nothing super special. The chinese misua (not in the photos) was pretty good. The place is very decorated in chinese mainland style.
We've been a food lover of mandarin sky since its banawe branch. This is their 2nd branch more parking but place is smaller but good interior and ambiance in this branch. We dine here a day a go, actually this is our 1st time in this branch we been dinnig at artsy beside mandarin but we are ordering their food even we dine at artsy or komedor they have same owners well all food here at mandarin are great. Specially the x.o oyster, seafood hotpot, salted egg shrimp. Prawn salad. Service is great and fast, place is clean and cozy. Price is reasonable.👍👍👍
