When it comes to Maginhawa street 1st thing that comes to my mind is panciteria.their food was good, yummy, very generous portion & very affordable.no wonder lagi silang puno pg lunch & dinner time.all my friends whom i invited to eat there would want to come back to try other dishes.my all time favorite tokwa't baboy, torta & canton guisado really a must try combination.
Super sarap ng Torta at buttered chicken!!! The best sa Magingawa!!
Very delicious ang mga foods especially pancit bihon w/ lomi topping shrimps or lechon kawali.

Pancit the best! Just want to thank sila ate for being able to provide service pa rin kahit 3mins before closing time ako dumating. Maraming maraming salamat po! ❤️❤️❤️
Great food makes me come out of the woodwork and write a review! And Pakibalot’s Chop Suey just made me do that. I’ve never had chop suey this good - usually there’s one or two ingredients I don’t like, or it’s too dry and just...blah - but this one’s a game-changer. First off, there’s so much sabaw! I loved drowning my rice in it. There’s quality veggies in it, too: like green bell pepper and cauliflower. Then there’s your protein: an ample amount of lean pork and slivers of liver.
You like that? “Slivers of liver”? Hehe.
Lechon Kawali was standard but good nonetheless, a delicious accompaniment to the chop suey.
Servings are for sharing and are worth the money when it comes down to it. We were just taken aback when we were given silver paper plates and paper cups to use...until we realized that Metro Manila is having a water shortage and this is the restaurant’s way of not using any more water.
Prices are pretty steep for such a hole-in-the-wall place but once you taste the food, you’ll find out that it’s straightforward yet satisfyingly solid.
We live in the area and we buy food here when we suddenly have guests at home. Super mainstay na sa bahay or any family events. Winner yung tokwa't baboy, lumpia, camaron rebosado (although nagtaas na yung price nila. They should update their zomato menu). We also usually buy their pancit, super dami and nakakabusog. Pricier dishes than other panciteria but quality-wise has never failed us.
Their pancit with lechon is good. And so is their garlic rice. Must try, sobrang sulit. Medyo matagal lang ang pagseserve and pagluluto nung kumain kami kasi there were a lot of people.
Very mura ang price ng food nila.
Very large ang serving ng food.
Masarap ang special pancit with lechon toppings nila especially for someone na mapili sa pancit. Their menu really fits taste bud of "masang pinoy".
However, wag asahan ang good service and ambiance ng place nila. You go to this place for food lang talaga. Pero they do delivery so plus points yun 😉 That's why it's only 4!
I only opt for take-outs and delivery, and I can agree that their service is pretty slow. Our recent delivery took over an hour for some reason (I think they forgot about it). BUT HEY THE FOOD IS BETTER THAN 99% OF MAGINHAWA. It's my go-to place when I don't have homecooked meals from the province and I'm too lazy to cook.
They have large servings (2-4 orders can last me a week, may take-home pa). Super cheap and super sulit and served piping hot and fresh. The food may not be perfect but if you compare it to the other establishments in town, it's one of the best na. Their menu offerings can be a hit and miss though (e.g. the "buttered chicken" which was totally not what I expected - it's battered chicken pieces in a weird orange-colored sweet and bland "butter sauce"...eatable though, but kinda weird). When I first tasted the pancit with lechon, it was heaven; but now there's something amiss, perhaps they changed the recipe or switched chefs, or maybe I just got tired of it, idk. Still, it's a good eat. The camaron rebosado is perfect and they serve it generously.

Along Maginhawa, you wouldn't easily notice this eatery since it doesn't have any IG worthy interior nor fancy designs. It's just simple. We can say it's a carenderia. But I tell you, you won't regret eating here as it offers the best shanghai lumpia you'll taste. It tastes like chicken!!!!! I am not kidding. One of the best. Every occasion, we actually order a bilao of their shanghai paired with their pancit as well. Super worth it and surely binabalik-balikan!!
Number of times visited: more than 5X!
Parking:
Like most Maginhawa establishments, street parking. Best to go by foot.
Food:
Our favorite would be the bihon guisado with lechon. There’s an additional fee for adding lechon to the pancit but it’s so worth it(Php 30, why not?). We usually order this with lumpiang shanghai that tastes great as well. Tastes meaty and served newly-fried always. Sometimes we order the Torta also for variation. This is torta like no other. Meaty, thick, saucy but you still can taste the eggplant. This is a favorite!
The servings are big and good for more than 2 people.
Price:
Affordable, around Php150/person. And you might still have take-home due to the large servings. Even when re-heated, food tastes great.
Service:
They are usually fast and courteous but when there are a lot of customers they tend to be less attentive. They once forgot an order that we placed.
Place:
It may be hard to look for a table during peak dining times. For large groups, tables are joined to form a bigger dining area. The place is clean, not really focused on having a theme but that’s okay. When there’s a lot of cooking going on, there’s a lack of air circulation where sometimes the odour gets stuck inside. Airconditioned with a small outdoor dining area.
Repeat?
Yes, Craving for good pancit (not the instant kind) but not wanting to buy a bilao? This is the place. They do sell bilao sizes though, and they deliver as well as I have inquired before. Call to ask if they cover your area.
Our go to place for pancit in bilao and when we don't feel like cooking food for lunch. Their price is reasonable with the size of their serving. place is clean and attendants are friendly.
Parking can be a problem
The best pancit in town served generously is in Maginhawa Street and its called Pakibalot Panciteria. Their Miki Bihon gives a taste of heaven not to mention the juicy lechon that comes with it. Their Lumpiang Shanghai is also a must try. Will come back for more =)
Cheap chinese food, BIG serving for its price 150 for a canton good for 3 not bad at all, buttered chicken would have been better if they didnt put too much sauce on it, i liked it if its crispier chicken like ambers or noodle king resto do..
Their food is like lutong bahay a notch higher. They serve yummy food that are affordable and the serving is generous. Great for barkada treat. You will satisfy the hungry tummy of your friends without burning a hole in your pocket.
When you want cheap Chinese food, this is the place! We come here for the Sweet n Sour meatballs (a personal fave and beats the ones served in more expensive restos), hototay soup, camaron rebosado, beef broccoli, torta and lumpiang shanghai.
Service is fast during off hours. Parking is always a problem as it's beside a tricycle terminal.
Well drop by for take out at last minute dont know they close at 9pm arrive almost 850pm luckily they allowed me for take out but almost the food is sold out like the camaron rebusado, beef steak etc so i just ordered miki bihon it takes only 10mins only. Well the food tasted great even though not much of ingredient. Well we will try to dine soon but parking is a problem. price is affordable!!!
Super affordable foods for a quite big servings!!! And ofcourse, the foods were delish! If you're looking for "lutong bahay" style and for big groups, this one's perf!
Affordable food especially for large group. A lot of people eat there everyday so if you want to enjoy there specialties, you must come earlier. :)
They have HUGE amounts of serving on almost everything on their menu which makes their dishes really affordable when eating with your family. They have the best tokwa't baboy i've ever tasted!

The cost of food is low but the big serving per order makes it looks good.my favorite here is the lumpiang shanghai and their pansit.their pansit is quite tasteful and because of the serving, you will surely be full.the place is quite small though considering that all of their food is serve for 3-4 persons.
Im giving this place a 4 because of their affordable food and huge serving size. This is the go-to place for large groups looking for a fulfilling meal despite being on a budget.
My friends love their lechon kawali and lumpiang shanghai. My choice is Chinese longganisa. The place is quiet small though, considering the number of guests who visit the place.
This is the best pancit in quezon city! You must try their pancit guisado with lechon and lumpiang shanghai.
1 order of pancit guisado is good for sharing, for them 2-3 people can share but as to our experience (we are just 2 who shares the pancit) even 4-5 people can share for 1 order. Yah! That's really alot. but maybe if your stomach is really empty, 3-4 can share.
Pricelist for the pics i included:
Pancit guisado - 150
Add lechon - 30
Lumpiang Shanghai - 120 (16 pcs)

Bihon canton with lechon and lumpia shanghai are my favorites here. Orders are all good for sharing. Affordable and yummy. I want to write a letter to the owner to keep the place open 24/7.
The price is pretty cheap for big servings! Orders here are recommended for sharing. So far, I like the Buttered Chicken, Lumpia Shanghai, Lechon Kawali, and of course their classic Pancit Bihon :)
It's a normal thing for us to eat in Panciteria since our school is just a ride away from it. I love everything on the menu- they're all worth it! Not too pricey but serves generously. Pocket-friendly and a good place to eat to with friends. :) I just wish they would have a variety of Pancit like Habhab and Palabok or Malabon since it's what the are known for. Overall, this resto is a very good place to eat at. :-)
Pancit Canton and Lumpiang Shanghai from this very humble food place will make any kind of day brighter. :) Plus, very friendly staff though you have to be patient while waiting for your orders, they're a bit understaffed.
Since we moved to QC around 6 years ago, I have been in search of a restaurant that can serve Miki Bihon or Canton Bihon as close to how Kawbin's, my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Fernando City, La Union does. I am not a big fan of pancit but my husband just loves cooking and eating pancit. For me, I only enjoy pancit when cooked by my hubby or when ordered in Kawbin's.
Until one weekend, I was googling for nearby food strips as we were looking for somewhere to dine out which is something different than the usual food chain. (We prefer eating out in restaurants outside of malls.) I chanced upon Pakibalot Panciteria thru foursquare so we decided to head off to Maginhawa and try their pancit.
The place was just a simple "eatery" with about 6 tables for 4. I wanted to back out and just find another but my hubby decided that we give it a try and I am glad we did. We ordered Canton Bihon with Lechon (P180), large Shanghai Fried Rice (P140) and Shanghai Lumpia (P120). What we ordered were enough to feed 4-5 people and only for the amount of P440!
As for the taste, the pancit is exactly how I wished it to be and the fried rice has the distinct taste of chinese chorizo. The Lumpiang Shanghai was also yummy. We left with full tummy and even brought home what we weren't able to finish.
I recommended this to my friends at the office and the week after my first visit, my friends and I decided to try their Miki Bihon with Lechon. There's 5 of us and we decided to order 2 orders of shanghai lumpia and small bilao of their pancit. As expected, we weren't able to finish the pancit and brought the rest back to our officemates which was enough to feed the entire team!
Their pancit is now on the "must try" list of every team at the office. :)
When visiting this place, you'll be greeted by their very friendly and energetic waitress whom we call "ate".
Lastly, today is my hubby's birthday. Since cooking is not my cup of tea. I decided to order their canton bihon with lechon and try their fried chicken. All I can say is, two thumbs up!
Panciteria has been the home food of ours when we have parties in our home or family gathering we always order a big bunch of food in pakibalot panciteria that has been our favorite especially the pancit and Shanghai it is always the best and very delish and so much tasty that we really like. Must try and very much affordable for a budget! Gland. Pakibalot has a fast and amazing service that everyone will like.
Maginhawa street in Quezon city is the home of self owned small businesses. You have all the choices of food from commonwealth to katipunan.
We used to pass by this street not knowing that there is a hidden amazing food store in the area. My friend living in the same area introduces Paciteria.
We ordered the famous Pancit Canton, chicken shanghai and mixed veggies. The pancit is not dry the meat is fine the veggies are fresh and the serving is good enough for 4 person. The chicken shanghai is very unique this one is my favourite; it was stuffed by chicken meat and carrots.
Our panciteria experience is one unforgettable and every time we get a chance to pass by maginhawa street again I will never miss a chance to take a visit.
