Loved the food fusion! Coffee is great! Loved the ambiance! Super kind and accommodating staff. Will definitely come back :)
Thank you Half Saints for brilliant food creations, very friendly staff and great atmosphere! We will be back for more..
Our coup de coeur: Chicharron Teriyaki and Dark Chocolate tart

The three cheese ravioli is LOVE! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
If you haven’t eaten here you are missing a lot!
Chicharon Teriyaki is love! 😍 I will definitely go back! 😊
Wow Bring it to Japan right now . :-P
Wonderful Chicharron Teriyaki ❤️
Always love the food here especially the puff pizza. Aiming to try everything on the menu!
Ate with a friend, but my sister even asked me to takeout puff pizza for her to eat at home.
A whole new dining experience. We heard good reviews about this restaurant and when my boyfriend and I finally got to try it, we ordered a whole lot. Really a lot. We love everything we ordered and finished eating almost everything except for the pizza since we’re so full already.
Can’t wait to go back and try the rest!
What we ordered:
Chicharron Teriyaki (Appetizer)
Shiitake, Goat Cheese, Balsamic Vinegar Puff Pizza
Arroz Con Pollo
Gallo Pinto x RBM
64% Dark Chocolate Tart
Enjoyed our time here! Kahit pasara na sila, the staff are polite :)
First time to dine in this place and had such a great experience. The staff was pleasant, the ambience was modern yet cozy, and the food was delicious!
I ordered their arroz con pollo, and I couldn’t finish the whole thing because the serving was so big. The pizza was not your traditional pizza, bc the ‘dough’ had the texture of a croissant- looked more like a dessert but not bad nonetheless.
My friends and I really enjoyed the place! Would definitely come back, maybe try some coffee and desserts this time 😊
The service is great at this restaurant! The servers were attentive and made recommendations for first-timers, so you're sure to have the optimal experience when eating.
We only had dessert and coffee when we visited, and their 64% dark chocolate tart is a must for chocolate lovers. Rich but not too sweet, you can pair it with either salt, whipped cream, or both. Their house iced tea is refreshing too.
The only downside is the small location which, due to it's popularity, makes it challenging to get a table during peak hours.
The food was good, especially the chicharron and the cauliflower soup.
Dudes u all have to try Half Saints in Mother Ignacia pls!!! Everything there was perfect for me. It made me rethink if I was really in QC, cos the place felt like Makati/BGC and the food quality was superb!!! No joke, I’ve been there two times and they were consistent with the food and service.
I suggest you guys try their Chicharron Teriyaki, some crunchy slices of sweet meet in teriyaki sauce you wrap in nori, add the whip cream and munch on. So damn good, i swear.
They’re also famous for their puff pizza, got to try thejr Shiitake Goat Cheese Balsamic Vinegar and it was good, not your usual pizza so prepare your expectations. The dough’s texture was similar to that of croissant. 😋
Beef Lasagna with Cream Cheese Spinach was also really yummy. Not a big fan of lasagna but this was something I appreciated, really.
Arroz con Pollo. PLS TRY THIS. A filling and sulit meal if you’re on a budget u can get this as it is. Thinking of it makes me drool HAHA
Gallo Pinto x RBM. Little did I realize this rice with beef egg and roasted bone marrow. Oops the cholesterol in it is crazy but it was an ok dish for me. If u prefer the putok batok dishes, go for it, but don’t forget your anti-cholesterol meds 😝
64% Dark Chocolate Tart was SO DAMN GOOD. One of the best chocolate cakes in my book. So rich and not too sweet. Came with salt to give contrast to the gastronomic experience.
I wrote this review with so much passion so I hope u enjoy as much as I did! 🤘🏽
It’s my 2nd time in Half Saints, and they have nailed it yet again!
We got to try the:
🥘 Salmon Bento — the red rice, miso soy, and salmon was a perfect combination in itself. A perfectly balanced dish hitting all the right spots on your palate! Downside? It leaves you wanting more.
🥘 Double Smashed Tocino Burger — a new item on the menu and a fantastic twist to the normal burger we all know. The tocino added a sweetness that was very distinct. My dad loved this!
🥘 Shiitake. Goat Cheese. Balsamic Pizza — so so so good. The puff pastry base is pure genius and it really allows the toppings to stand out.
🥘 Tres Leches Cheese Latte — one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. The top tasted like tres leches icing! Every sip was delightful.
🥘 Textures of Turon — we particularly enjoyed this dish the most. A deconstructed turon, using the exact same ingredients, but presenting it a totally different way! We didn’t want this dish to end!
Half Saints creates art out of the food they present and that in itself is worth giving this place a 5/5. 😍 Can’t wait for my next visit.
The restaurant is a very good restaurant the ambience is good, the servers are polite and knowledgable, the food is great although not all. Some of the food in half saints are very good especially the risotto the chicharon terriyaki and the salads. I was excited by the gallo pinto because of the marrow but i was disappointed. The gallo pinto for me was a let down although the cookery is good the flavor wasn’t enough. The benedict dish for me was soso. I think the other dishes in the menu makes the gallo pinto look bad. But overall its one of my fave restos in manila and would definitely eat again.
Food is great, the flavours just goes well all together! The restaurant/cafe is also very modern and beautiful! So if you’re looking for a good place to date in, I would recommend this one!
However if you’re in a rush, their food takes time to prepare so you better allot sometime for this.
Unique, delicious food, best coffee ever (must try their coffee granita)......casual friendly atmosphere, super service and yummy desserts . All you could want!
Was with my son at the resto around 6:30 and it was still nice and quiet.
We ordered the chicharron teriyaki to start. It was very interesting! I liked it a lot but you know how bagnet is if it’s twice cooked? A bit dry/tough? Nevertheless the novelty of the dish (it came with nori and cream cheese) made up for it.
Next was arroz con pollo with the rice cooked in coconut milk. This dish was excellent! Very flavorful and perfectly cooked. Must try.
Then we had a shiitake, goat cheese and balsamic vinegar on puff pastry pizza. Nice and crispy and flavorful!
We got a 64% dark chocolate torte for dessert. The server suggested we try it on the side where there was no salt first then try the next bite with a bit of salt. Soooooooo yuuuuum!
The servers were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Will bring the rest of the fam next time!

Honestly overpriced for the amount and taste. (I didnt say overpriced for the ingredients though)
Coffee was amazing!
The place was really nice
The design down to the utensils were really nice
Staff was extremely friendly
I love the food! The entire menu is well thought and the service is awesome. The ambiance is also great compared to other restaurants. Hoping they branch out soon so its accessible from my place!
Cozy place, food was ok, the pizza was genius as they used puff pastry as the base instead of the regular dough, but the flavor we ordered(goat cheese) was a bit too creamy. The pasta was really good and seasoned really well. The flaming cheese balls was also good. The marrow rice dish could be a lot better if seasoned a bit more.
A great place for unique comfort food.
The place is worth waiting for, despite the long line. The food tastes great; I have had hard time choosing my order because all the selections had positive reviews. I ordered gallo pinto, and I wasn' t surprised by how excellent it tasted like, coupled with their tres leches coffee. MUST ORDER, I must say, you won't regret it. The friendliness of the staff adds to the overall positive vibes of the place. If you are within the area and are looking for place to eat, I won't hesitate recommending Half Saints to satisfy your cravings. I will definitely go back to this place to try all the other selections in their menu.👌
Finally, something new and fresh to try out when you are in the scout area. Super exciting flavors and fusions. Always jam-packed though.
I loooooved every menu I ordered. From starters, pizza, specials, drinks to dessert! They were very accomodating and assisted us upon knowing it was our first time. Will definitely come back!
The place is small but i really had a great time. It was quiet and the interiors looked amazing.
I would recommend this place if you like having a couple of drinks with good food.

We love the food and the place! ❤️ we love trying out new resto and definitely na in love kami sa mga pagkain may birthday is extra special because I celebrated at half saints.
Love the food and vibe of the place. Tho parking’s a bit tight. Food’s quite pricey but definitely worth it 👌🏽
The food was amazing! We didn’t expect such high quality gourmet food in the Timog area. It’s a small cafe but the flavors of their dishes are so sophisticated. We had the three cheese ravioli and the baked chicken. We can’t wait to go back and try their sweets. My husband who is hard to please thought the coffee was really great too! Cheers and more power!
I've only tried their chocolate cake and from a guy who's not a huge fan of sweets, it's definitely one of the best cakes I've eaten since the rich flavor of the chocolate really comes out, it's not too much that you feel overwhelmed by it. It's also not that sweet, which I love! Will definitely go back for more. Can't wait to try their food on my next visit!
Everything we ordered was good! Zero leftover! :) Perfect mood and lighting for relaxing after a whole day of work. Drinks are reasonably priced. 🌟
What We Had:
Braised Tomato & Mozzarella
Arroz con pollo
Gallo pinto x RBM
What we loved:
First off, that's a lot for two people (haha!) We even had more than half of the chicken dish taken out, and had it for dinner. I honestly thought they come in small servings but when the pasta arrived, I was surprised, in a nice way of course. I love how creative they were with the dishes too, without sacrificing quality and taste.
Most of all, the ladies were really really warm and friendly. Such a nice dining experience, will surely recommend to friends frequenting the area!
Looking for a different kind of pizza?
Try out their Ratatouille Pizza! Its base is puff pastry -- like biting into a cloud. A buttery croissant base works, especially in bringing out the flavor of ratatouille. No food wasted because the crust is not the typical kind people tend to discard due to lack of taste.
The toppings are also generously placed. It's apparent that it took a lot of skill and love to create this dish.
All foods that we ordered are perfect! My new favorite is the chicharron teriyaki- wrap and roll teriyaki glazed bagnet and cream cheese in Nori!!! While, for my bf he really liked the Arroz con Pollo, he can even finish the whole serving! A must try also is their 64% dark chocolate tart! Service is prompt and crews are very friendly. Will definitely come back here☺️
The place is cozy, serice was great
We've been here twice trying out different items on the menu. The Chicharon Teriyaki is a must try! The deconstructed turon is also a nice experience - - definitely the most pretentious turon I've ever had! :)
Please read the full review from the link below. Thanks!
Excerpt: Love at first bite. The description of Gallo Pinto x RBM in their menu read: “Dirty rice and beans topped with shredded beef, fired egg, green onions, bacon, and roasted bone marrow”. More beautiful words have never been combined in such an eloquent manner (just kidding).
How to eat it? Like a bibimbap: Mix the rice with the other ingredients, except the bone marrow. Next, you scoop a little of the bone marrow then scoop some of the mixed rice. Then, you put it in your mouth. After that, you’re in heaven. The next day, make an appointment with your doctor to check your cholesterol levels.
This dish tasted amazing. Complex flavors with the beans, egg, bacon, beef and then you get a splash of green onion flavor. The dish also had very good mayonnaise (or a creamy dressing that tasted like mayo) that bound the flavors together and gave a creamy texture. Coat that taste profile with an expertly-roasted bone marrow and the result is an overriding flavor of pure delicious grilled fat.

In my humble opinion, Half Saints is Tomas Morato's best-kept secret. What truly makes dining at Half Saints so enjoyable is their very attentive staff who know their restaurant inside-out.
It is rare to be served by waitresses who will tell you how to best enjoy your meal. We appreciated our waitress telling us how to best bring out the flavors of our desserts.
I don't claim to be a foodie so I'll leave the in-depth analysis of the flavors and cooking techniques to the gourmandes (in my non-expert opinion though, Half Saints excels in this arena as well). However, I can recognize amazing service when I see it. Half Saints' menu and service deserve 5-stars and that is what sets it apart from Tomas Morato's already crowded dining industry. You truly get above and beyond your money's worth. ✨
Half Saints have their Chocolate Pie as their claim to fame in the chocolate realm. And no wonder why people are all praises for this humble piece of pie. Made from Philippine cacao, baked with love and it shows from the simplicity of its appearance the care and delicate handling of it. The overall flavor is on a whole other level of goodness. I had the pleasure of having a taste, more that a sample really, of the 64% dark chocolate tart, and it was just divine. The pie was smooth, creamy and a nary of sweetness. It was just right that it does not scream death, complimented by the firm crust. Recommended for its overall winning qualities.
Had dinner with the group. The place was compact and somewhat tight. We ordered the Humshuka, Chicharron Risotto, Ratatouille Pizza, and Salmon Bento. For dessert, we ordered the 64% Dark Chocolate Tart and Tiramisu Cheesecake. The taste, flavor, presentation were great It was a different execution on what one usually has. The tart and cheesecake were dense and rich in flavor. Service was good and pricing is average. While the dining experience was great, the atmosphere was marred by the loud noise from the other table. Noise level is aggravated by the hard surfaces of the interior.
I ordered all the stuff from their menu which most people kept raving about.
The chicharon teriyaki did not disappoint :) It was creative and quite surprising to the palate..
The grilled marrow and pares dish was also good. But actually, I was on a diet so I didnt get to eat much of the rice. The marrow was good, they were even kind enough to give us another serving of marrow because the first marrow was quite small ;) so thoughtful of you guys...
Although, TBH the marrow could use a little more.. salt i guess? Try Kettle’s steak and marrow and you’ll get what I mean :) the marrow from that dish was a delight in itself.
The puff pastry pizza was yummy. There was some sweetness to the puff crust that complemented the salty cheese and tangy balsamic vinegar.
But I dont think this is the first puff pastry Pizza, in my province in Isabela, there used to be a small bakery/cafeteria named Franco’s cafe. They also had pizza baked on a flaky dough. It was also good, but Halfsaints’ version had a different flakiness to it pa.
The chocolate cake which everyone raves about was okay. It didnt impress me on first bite, but when I gobbled it up side by side with hot cappucino, the flavors from this choco cake were greatly emphasized.
All in all, I liked the service, the ambience and the concept...
Thank you Halfsaints for that wonderful brunch.
My aunt wanted to eat here last week, but the line was so long, they were no longer able to get in. Today, we drove pass the place, and there were seats available!
With the high reviews, I was very excited to try this place...and it was AMAZING!
The Hummushka was a new experience. Usually, we don't have egg in hummus, but this was delicious, especially with the tomato puree.
The shitake balsamic and goat's cheese puff pizza was light and refreshing. My mom even enjoyed the pizza, and she doesn't like pizzas.
The chicharon pasta reminded me of pesto rather than dehydrated tomatoes.
I enjoyed the lasagna especially with the spinach cream in between each layer.
The star of the night was the Bone Marrow. It reminded me of paella.
The Carribean flavors really hit us hard when the chicken was set on the table. I immediately smelled the spices of the chicken and rice. The rice was about too salty for us, but the chicken was the best chicken I have ever ate. Not because of its taste, rather because of how it was cooked. I have never ate chicken so soft, tender and moist. This, I believe, is a new standard for perfectly cooked chicken.
Service added to the experience of the restaurant. Anna, our server, was very accommodating and knowledgeable of all items in the menu, and even explained to us how to eat the dish. She even explained the origins of "chicharon", which is actually bagnet. She was so attentive, she didn't even let us pout our own water through out the meal.
Overall, Half Saints serves good food and good times in the hidden corner of Tomas Morato.
SO GOOD. I was worried I was setting myself up for disappointment because I had such high expectations going in, but Half Saints met them all
What we ordered:
1. Chicharron terriyaki: this was certainly an interesting dish where you manually wrap the teriyaki-glazed Camiling Bagnet in a piece of nori along with cream cheese. Woul I order it again? Maybe not. It's a nice novelty but not one ill crave for
2. Dehydrated tomato and Almond pesto with garlic sausage spaghettini: I was a bit iffy about this dish when my friend ordered it because there are so many ways it can go wrong. Surprisingly, it was actually really good!! Unlike most pesto dishes, the taste wasn't cloying and overwhelming!
3. Ratatouille puff pizza: my gosh. This was the star of night. I'd return to Half Saints for this dish alone. It's SO good. Their pizza crust is light and puffy - I don't think it should be called a pizza anymore. Anyway, this is super good. Try it
4. 64% Dark Chocolate Tart: this dessert of theirs is pretty famous. It's good, but I've tasted equally good ones elsewhere. Nevertheless, great dish to cap off a yummy night!
Overall, I'm giving Half Saints 5 stars without reservations - not just for the food but also for the great service and the readily available parking at the basement (so rare for Tomas Morato restaurants...)
Loved this place!
(1) It seems one owner is really cool, based on the personal books displayed.
(2) The staff were really friendly and attentive.
(3) The food was actually GOOD! REALLY GOOD. And we didn't even go for all the recommended items! The food is interesting, too--I have roots where shakshuka is from, but I didn't ever think to mix in hummus in it! (See photo of Hummshuka.) We ate it with brioche, but now I'm wondering if nachos would have worked better. I also loved their three cheese raviolli (pictured) and the goat cheese pizza (pictured) was interesting! Still on the fence about the puff pastry as crust (I love me some flakes, but there is apparently such a thing as too much), but what I really appreciated was how they didn't skimp on the cheese. More mushrooms, maybe, but A++ on the cheese! Didn't get the iced tea, but my friend who did said it was "interesting," haha. Considering what I first considered small portions, we were pretty full at the end of three dishes!
(4) I would wish for a better seating setup so we don't get stuck at a bar, haha, and maybe comfier seats, but other than that this place is gold!
I was excited to try this place, and it lived up to the hype! The food is sophisticated and intelligently made, and they are enough to satisfy the hungriest stomachs. Service was quick, and servers were even considerate enough to ask if we were comfortable with consuming meat. Definitely would go back again!
Five stars for this creative taste experience. Food was novel- in a sense that the tastes were curated to please the palate. For instance, nothing was special with the crispy pork, but when combined with cream cheese and some seaweed, it was strangely delicious. I would liken the resto to an art exhibit, a display of different tastes on a plate
Still one of our favorite places in the scout area. Half Saints is a great place to go to for a meal, merienda, or coffee. For this visit, we went for a quick snack and coffee. The Great Balls of Fire come with some flair, torching the risotto balls table-side. Really good snack, also pretty spicy. The chocolate tart is one of our favorite desserts - make sure to try it when you visit. Instead of ordering my usual drink, I tried the Tres Leches Cheese Latte which pretty much tasted like liquid dessert. Ambiance is great, service is fast. Make sure to try it if you find yourself in the area.
damn good place.
Nothing to write anymore but comment has to be long. Unique food. Great ambiance. Clean place. Good staff. Nice owner. Overall great
This quaint resto serves style and delicious meals with a price.
a good place to bring your more important guests to sit a chat or maybe just spend some alone time and read your favourite novel.
Minimalist in a sense, their dishes are artsy and picture ready. Pricey but tastes quite good. Servings are somewhat big.
I'd recommend their iced tea and the dishes I pictured below.
Its a good place to hold a small gathering of people who love to just chill. They offer alcoholic drinks as well and pizza.

I've been planning to dine here for quite some time already, and we decided to go during Mother's Day. Food was really delicious! Not to mention the staff gave us superb service!!! I will definitely dine here again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Every single meal is crazy goooood!!!! Great balls of fire and chocolate tart are personal faves. The pizza is a real surprise too! Will definitely come back again!
The menu is pretty unique. It is a fusion of various cuisines which particularly satisfied my pallette. The ambiance of the place is warm and cozy which is good if you want to enjoy a meal and just talk. The servers are also attentive and prompt.
Half Saints is undoubtedly one of my favorite restaurants in Tomas Morato. Their dishes are well thought of and well executed. The Chicharron Teriyaki appetizer and Camiling’s Chicharron risotto are both winners but I won’t order the two at the same time as they’re both bagnet dishes. Their pizzas are also quite interesting as the unique crust texture resembles more the buttery and flaky croissant than the regular doughy bread. The interiors also look clean and modern while there’s ample parking outside and at the basement of the establishment.
A tiny place near Hi-Top Q.Ave, Half Saints has delivered on my expectations!
Saw this place at Zomato when looking for a place where to have dinner - and just our luck, we got the last table when we got there.
True to the other reviews, the chicharon teriyaki is unique! It hits all the spots with the eccentric partnering of teriyaki, cheese, and seaweed. Truly a must try!
The chicken con pollo was good! My boyfriend said this is much better than the one he had in Macau. Crispy edges, creamy rice, and soft chicken ( no knives needed!) - it was so flavorful! Chicken wasn't overcooked, and the rice had contrasting textures of soft and crispy, while the sauce was seasoned well. A well deserved hi-five!
The best selling shiitake, goats cheese, and balsamic vinegar pizza is a combination not many people would think would go well together. This dish proves it can! Crispy, sweet, creamy, savory, and salty - the combinations and textures make this dish worth of being called a best seller!
Our desserts, tiramisu and 64% dark chocolate tart - were equally good as the savory dishes. As a fan of dark chocolate, I absolutely adored the chocolate tart Sweet at first, with the bitterness slowly creeping up. Add in a sprinkle of salt, and it boosts the sweetness up a notch! (BF had the tiramisu. He said it was delicious. A man of a few words, but honest words)
We commend the head chef, kitchen and bar staff, as well as the servers! Food, ambiance, and service was great. Will definitely be coming back here and letting others know that Half Saints serve up great food!
Happy eating!
A cozy cafe for weekend brunch. Service is good and the food is superb and creative.
Tres Leches Hot Coffee and their Signature Iced Tea made excellent beverages.
Humshuka - Hummus with Shakshuka with eggs - is great to share with nacho chips. Arroz con Pollo is a tasty paella with tender and tasty chicken.
The 64% Datk Chocolate Tart is a delicious way to end your meal!
Small quaint place, perfect for small get-togethers or date nights. I really loved how the crew took the time to explain the dishes since it was our first time to eat here (and the menu can be a bit overwhelming😂).
Had their chicharon teriyaki (weird combo on paper but explodes in your mouth!), arroz con pollo (the besttttt) and the cheese pizza (cannot imagine how pizza can get so much better). Definitely recommending this resto and definitely coming back!
Half Saints was a delightful surprise. Went there yesterday for dinner and had the following:
Chicharron Teriyaki - simple yet the combination of flavors fits well
Shiitake Goat Cheese Pizza - a must try, quality of the pizza itself was really good plus they have their unique "puff" crust. Imagine pizza with thin croissant as the crust .
Arroz Con Pollo - rather than a strict paella, the consistency of the rice is between a risotto and a paella. Has balanced curry flavor to it that I think even non-curry lovers would like
Salmon bento - didn't get to try this personally but feedback I received was that it was good
Cheese & Paprika tart - a nice twist on your classic cheese tart since it has a hint of savory taste
Overall, really enjoyed our visit and will be coming back to try their other dishes.
✔Really good food (most stellar, 1-2 dishes so-so)
✔Drinks sakto lang
✔Clean and well stocked bathroom
I really recommend this place for date nights and casual catch up dinners with friends.
Had dinner at this place after a friends referral.
Ambience: Interesting decor, comfortable lighting and a clean welcoming vibe.
Food:
Risotto balls 4/5
Chicharon teriyaki 5/5
Gallo Pinto RBM 5/5
Shiitake goat cheese pizza 5/5 (amazing combo)
Service: Excellent. From the staff to the owner, the level of respect and courtesy that they provide is what all restaurants should aspire for.
Good food. Good value. Will definitely go back.
Good food! :)
But hard to get a parking.
All occupied by FRONTROW.
Guard will prioritize the frontrow group than people who will go and eat at the outlets at that building.
We came here for the arroz con pollo and we were not dissappointed. It certainly is a great dish! Every bite I keep asking myself where I tasted it before, yet, I haven't. The familiarity and uniqueness of it brings joy and comfort in every bite.
"Our menu is a representation of our travels and incorporating them with a local touch to help promote native ingredients from different places in the Philippines."
I had the privilege of checking out Half Saints yesterday at G/F The Ignacia Place 62 Sgt. Esguerra Ave., Q.C. and meeting two of their co-owners Joanna Arciaga and Christine Roque.
As I looked through their menu, I asked Christine what was the inspiration behind their food and this is what she said that really stuck with me, "Our menu is a representation of our travels and incorporating them with a local touch to help promote native ingredients from different places in the Philippines."
Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately loved the whole ambiance and vibe, it was minimalist meets industrial design. Greeted with a glass of Sangria, which is not for the faint-hearted. So if you prefer a Sangria that surely packs a punch, then this one is for you. ;)
One of their best-selling starters is the Chicharron Teriyaki (php 295). Their teriyaki-glazed chicharron is from Camiling Tarlac, served with whipped cream cheese and nori. Best eaten immediately and eaten in a one bite, wrap and roll style. This is probably one of my top picks! It is really good. A must-try!
I think I'm gonna say "this is my favorite" a lot in this post cause the food was really good. I genuinely enjoyed my dining experience here so, sorry in advance haha!
Next is their Humshuka (php 280). It is a fusion between Cilantro Hummus and Shakshouka served with nacho chips. I really enjoyed this one, it is a comfort food. Great for sharing while catching up with friends!
Last but not the least in our starters is the Great Balls of Fire (php 250). Spicy Risotto balls with shiitake mushrooms and mozzarella cheese served with their home-made marinara sauce. At first I was a hesitant to try it cause I am not allowed to eat spicy food but I got to eat 2 ahahahaha! cause it wasn't spicy at all!
Humushuka x Great Balls of Fire x Sangria
They also serve Puff Pizza which is made from Puff Pastry unlike the traditional pizza dough which gives it a thin and flaky crust. Anton Ego would be delighted with their version of the Ratatouille (php 325). Thinly sliced tomato, eggplant and zucchini in a bed of marinara and topped with pesto is really a burst of flavor. *side note: their pesto sauce is really good!
Here is another stand-out for me, this is their Arroz Con Pollo (php 395). It's a Chicken Sofrito Paella with a Carribean flare. Cooked and braised with coconut oil to give it that tropical flavor that best represents our country and weather :D I highly recommend this dish!
And another highly recommended dish is their Gallo Pinto x RBM (php 495). Inspired by the staple breakfast food in Central America, it is dirty rice and beans with shredded beef. Very much like a silog in Philippine breakfast, they decided to kick it up a notch by adding eggs, bacon and a massive roasted bone marrow that will surely make you 20 years younger! Hahaha! *side note: it is best to scoop a bit of marrow with every bite ;)
Arroz con Pollo (php 395) x Gallo Pinto X RBM (php 495) x Ratatouille (php 325)
For my favorite part of every meal, it's now time for dessert! I've done a bit of research before going here and I am excited to try their 64% Dark Chocolate Tart (php 220) which is made from 64% Auro Dark Chocolate from Davao in an almond sugar crust with whipped cream, topped with Himalayan salt. I love dark chocolate so I already knew that I was going to love this, especially between the contrast of the bitterness of the chocolate and salt. It is perfect with coffee!
Aside from chocolate, I am a big fan of CHEESECAKE. So when they served their Tiramisu Cheesecake (php 195), I was really happy cause it has the texture that I want in a cheesecake although I think it could have a stronger coffee flavor to give it that legit "tiramisu" flavor. But overall I was delighted with their desserts!
They also serve hot and cold coffee and some frozen drinks which is also worth checking out.
I enjoyed the food and had a great time. Although it might be a little bit pricey, you can really see that you get what you pay for. Definitely a must-try restaurant whenever you are in the area.
"Food shouldn't only fill your stomach but it should also fill your heart with every story that comes with it."

Heads up: Parking space is limited in this area. Best time to go there would be a few minutes after it opens.
Chicharron Teriyaki - 💡💡💡 Props for creativity! Uniquely delicious!
Dehydrated Tomato & Almond Pesto with Garlic Sausage Spaghettini - Could use more salt since its on the bland side for my taste but still enjoyed it.
ARROZ CON POLLO - 🔥💛 Totally in 😍 with this dish. Creamy paella dish served with extra tender chicken in the middle. Really comforting. This is what you would want to eat to cap off your week! Peeeerfection in a plate!
Btw, Half Saints have staffs who are more than welcome to explain their menu to first time diners, feel free to ask them when you come in 😉
Foodgasm! The flavors would burst into your mouth... reasonable price for very good food. Had better desserts but didn't try their best seller. Relaxing ambiance and good service. Only draw back is very limited space only 30 seater. We were able to dine in on our 3rd try. You have to make a reservation. But the hassle is worth it. Thumbs up!
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. ❤ I got the risotto chicharon while Aaron got the Tuna. Both were great, but I waa crazy about their tres leches latte. ❤
Surprisingly great food! Everything was great although the fire balls were meh at best. Teriyaki bagnet and puff pastry pizza is mind boggling good. Protip: get reservations
Loved the interior of Half Saints. Very relaxing and very artistic at the same time. The food, fantastic! And the drinks are very interesting. Will definitely go back!
The place has a really nice interior that makes it look spacious although the area is rather small. If you prefer an intimate dinner or coffee date , this place is super recommended. We tried beef lasagna, Ratatouille pizza, Chicharon Teriyaki and the 64% Dark Chocolate Tart for dessert. We enjoyed every single bite. Many of their ingredients are locally sourced so that's another plus for us. ☺️
One of the best single dish around tomas morato area! Place is clean, aromatic, tho they dont have wifi. Their chicharon is really a must try for 350php. I love half saints risotto paired with chocolate cake.
I'm giving this a 5.0 mainly because of the service and the quality of the dishes they gave us. We had mainly the best-selling ones, particularly: Chicharon Teriyaki, Shiitake Goat Cheese and Balsamic Vinegar Puff Pizza, Arroz Con Pollo, Gallo Pinto x RBM, Beef Lasagna, and 64% Dark Chocolate Tart.
The Chicharon Teriyaki was a good starter. You wrap the teriyaki-glazed crunchy pieces of pork bagnet with seaweed with a hint of cream cheese as your "sauce." This appetizer truly starts your meal to have an expectation that the other dishes might just be as unique.
The pizza was unique as well, making use of danish-type or croissant type puff pastry. Although the goat cheese might be a bit overbearing for some (too cheesy), it was nonetheless tasty and yummy. Puff pastry was baked to perfection, the crunch and the inner pastry are just great. The balsamic reduction was sweet, perfectly complimenting the saltiness of the cheese.
Arroz con Pollo was the best. If you are only alone, this is what you have to order. Chicken was cooked perfectly, it's their version of the "falls off the bones" type of protein meat. The paella was likewise the best. Flavors were definitely there, plus they deliberately chose to "crunchy" the parts of the dish, serving it truly hot with those tutong pieces of rice which just makes the dish three levels better than a typical chicken paella.
Gallo Pinto x RBM was like a bibimbap. Just mix everything and add the bone marrow to your every bite. It was good, but nothing too much to boast about. Nonetheless, it is quite unique and the bone marrow was cooked perfectly. Same review goes to beef lasagna. Nothing spectacular, in my opinion.
The dark chocolate tart is a must order. It compliments well with the sea salt that it comes with. It's like a very rich and heavy dark chocolate mousse. Anyway, it's a good meal ender after tasting a number of their dishes.
Would definitely come back.
I tried the chicharon teriyaki, cheese ravioli and puff pastry pasta. The food is really good, price is average for North or Tomas morato area. 😍
Located near the ABS CBN tower , place is clean , the ambience relaxed and homey with modern chic decor, for starters we ordered the chicharon teriyaki and ratatouille pizza both are excellent!! (esp the pizza) for mains had arroz alla pollo, beef with eggs benedict and penne with tomato and mozzarella. All are very good and I am very picky with my food! For dessets had the brownie and tiramisu cheesecake ; also excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful with the menu since it was our first time there. Kudos to the staff and owners!! 👍
Good food with great presentation! The vibes of the place was modernly intimate. The furniture were even well thought of. The food were unique and creatively presented. Worth visiting!
Half saints offers good food, relaxed ambience, and great customer service.
Their Puff pizzas are a must try - think about a croissant pizza fusion👌🏻
Chicharron teriyaki was so simple but amazing! The blend of the nori, cheese, teriyaki sauce and crispy pork was so good.
Ratatouille pizza is a good healthy-ish snack.
Arroz con Pollo was the winner. So tender and flavorful. Best eaten with the tutong from the sizzling plate. Something I would definitely crave!
Thanks to Zomato Gold, our bill went down from 1.3k to 990. :)
Love the ambience. The food that we tried were great, too! Made us really curious about the rest of the food and drinks on the menu.
We tried their Chicharon Teriyaki which is basically bagnet (which was really crispy and good) which you will wrap in nori with cream cheese. Quite new for us. Haha.
And also, their Arroz Con Pollo which is very satisfying and delectable. Serving is good for two-three people.
Will definitely come back!
We had the nori wraps, puff pastry pizza and the chicken rice caserole thingy. For a tiny resto near quezon ave. The food tasted great and reasonably priced. Plating could use some work but i guess thats how they keep it cheap so thats good enough for me. My tastebuds and wallet were very satisfied!
I love it that the menu is short, and that the dishes are innovative and carefully chosen. There aren't any pictures on the menu, but the servers sure know how to describe each dish to the last delicious detail. My friend and I shared the Chicharon Terriyaki and the Pollo Gallo x RBM. It was a wonderfully flavorful and satisfying dinner, and I can't wait to go back for more. ❤
Half Saints is a relatively new restaurant in the area around ABS-CBN compound. It offers pasta, pizza and other Italian food. Had lunch there with office friends and one of my friends is a very good cook and food critic. I don’t cook so when I do reviews I just base it on my highly subjective taste buds.
But my friend, she has no mercy when she reviews food. She doesn’t write them down though. She comments on the spot. So here goes.
She liked most of the food we ordered. She said she was actual surprised she did. I had puff pizza with shiitake, goat cheese and balsamic vinegar. It was slightly sweet and tangy and I liked it. The Arroz con Pollo is also good. Chicken was soft and flavorful. My friend gave a thumbs up on the rest of the food.
I loved the dark chocolate dessert and the coffee too. The servings are big and for sharing.
The interiors are chic. Good mood lighting for cocktails and drinks when it turns dark. The place is small, however. Could fir possibly total 50 people.
We haven’t tried the cocktail drinks so we plan to go back for that. But they close at 10pm. That’s actually the time when the party starts or when the alcohol kicks in. It would be good if they at least close later.
