The food was so good! If your looking for good home cooked style filipino food this is the best restaurant to eat. My personal fave is their pinakbet it has kamote in it and crispy pata. Also their pusit is sauced with black ink!!! Everything was delish

Bahay Ligaya is a nice homey place that serves up Pinoy regional dishes.

What to order...

Start with...
Ligaya's Panimula - Php190 - crispy fried catfish flakes with green mangoes. Reminds me of a Thai dish. Simple but really good with the chili soy sauce.

Chicharong Bulaklak - Php295 - a little expensive but it's very food. Crispy and not too oily.

Dinakdakan - Php300 - an Ilokano version of sisig,  pig's mask tossed with (I think) brain and mayo.

Ginataang Kuhol - Php250 - this is my favorite dish for the evening! The snails are cooked in a nicely spiced coconut cream sauce, MUST ORDER!

Inihaw na Pusit - the squid was tender and not chewy.

Other good dishes are the...
Tokwa't Baboy
Kilawing Tanguigue
Bulalo Steak
Leche Flan

I wasn't happy with the...
Kare-Kare - lacks the peanut flavor. THe bagoong had an off flavor too.
Lumpiang Sariwa
SInigang na Salmon - lacks more sampaloc flavor

We came here at around 9:45 pm on a Thursday. The place feels comforting. Feels more like your grandparents house. They serve a variety of filipino dishes. We ordered adobong kambing which my bf liked. Meat was tender and without the gamey taste of kambing. We also ordered grilled tuna which was quite big for the 2 of us. The tuna was surprisingly juicy with a bit of char on the outside. Pakbet iloko was legit with its usual ingredients plus the kamote. I would just like my pinakbet on the salty side with more bagoong perphaps. Will come back for the kambing.

This is our favorite go-to place when we want to unwind. Not exactly a new place, the interiors are not modern at all, but there’s a charm to the place. The food is great. Our usuals are tokwa’t baboy, special kangkong, grilled tuna, squid, and chicharon bulaklak! Food is consistently delicious. Plus points that beer is always cold!

They serve very good filipino food. The sisig, sinigang, tapa, crispy kalitiran, poque poque are must tries. Not exactly cheapo though but the quality of the food makes up for the comparatively higher prices.

Parking is readily available.

Super yummy home-cooked meals! I don't think there's anything I tried here that wasn't good. A lot of parking too. The interiors is supposed to feel homey what with all the antiques and mismatched furniture (and yes it feels like I'm in my grandparents house in the province), but it could improve in that aspect.

Adding mostly Ilocano Foods in their menu makes this restaurant different from other Filipino Restaurant. Added factor are the antique collections displayed. A bit odd though are the female crews on skirt which i found very contrasting. I am not saying i dont like them, i'm a man the last time i've checked :D.

If you are craving for a lutong bahay kinda food, this is a must try resto. They serve authentic Ilocano food. I love their Kilawin Kambing, Kalitiran Baka, Adobong Kambing, Liempo and Dinengdeng and the malunggay iced tea!

The place reminds you of your lola's house in the province and the smell is similar to that too because they have an antique store beside their resto.

One of my go to place when I miss eating Ilocano food.

If you're looking for authentic Filipino dishes in Quezon City, I highly recommend Bahay Ligaya.
The food we ordered were Adobong Pusit, Poque-Poque, Sinigang na Salmon Belly and Lechon Kawali. And all we ordered tasted good and we left the place happy and satisfied. The dishes were also reasonably priced.

I love how the ambience of this resto makes you feel. It's like you're in the house of your lola in the province. The food is authentic. We ordered kilitiran na baka and adobong kambing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Super delish.

Probably one of the few Pinoy restaurants around the metro that serve authentic Filipino food. Each delectable dish basically has that full-flavored 'Panlasang Pinoy', which is truly enjoyable to eat. Warms up the Filipino spirit as we dine in this resto and converse expressively using our native tongue. The eclectic interiors and external landscape adds that Pinoy vibe to the resto's ambiance, which is totally cool. Mabuhay! 😋
