Pleasantly surprised with Meat Depot. I was brought here by surprise! I’ve heard many good things about this place! True enough, place didn’t disappoint. Their meat selection is vast! After cooking our orders, the Black Angus and Striploin steaks were cooked to perfection. The meat was really scrumptious & tasty. Didn’t leave a single trace in my plate.
Would definitely come back for 3 reasons: Affordable, clean & delicious!
Craving for Steaks and Sausages🤗😍❤
We Love MEAT DEPOT❤
they're just soooo TASTY🤗🤗🤗
5 Stars ☆☆☆☆
Ate here during Father's day!! The staff was very welcoming and helpful all throughout the process from selecting the perfect meat, to providing their feedback on the cooking and the sauce on the side, to the checkout.
The food came out really quick too! Around 7-10minutes after punching the order, it was well cooked as to the customer's preference. The medium rare steak was perfect and the salmon well-done.
The only thing concerning was the cooking fee for the hungarian sausage was the same price as the steak and salmon (which should be a little less since it's just sausage).
But nonetheless, for the price it was well worth it!
Steak: 4.5/5
Salmon: 5/5
Hungarian sausage: 4.5/5
I didnt expect to serve a large size of porkchop and liempo, all i can say is.. SUPERB!!, kudos to Meat Depot Banawe, smoked, grilled marinated meat of pork melts in your mouth, tenderness of pork is sooo good..
I enjoy going to this restaurant! Whenever my family and I crave for a steak, we always go here. The meat selection process is an enjoyable experience.
The freshly cooked steak is very mouth-watering. It's very sinful but you ought to try foie gras together with steak. The best. Will definitely eat here over and over again.
7 days without meat makes 1 weak because our body benefits a lot from protein. Me as a customer, I enjoy the concept of meat depot-- picking my own choice of meat, seeing it first hand before it goes to the grill is satisfying.
How to order:
1. Get a Basket.
2. Choose your meat from the chiller.
3. Fillout the order slip. choose the doneness of your steak.
4. Pay. please take note that they charge Php100 for cooking.

📍 Location: 815 Banawe Street, Saint Peter, Banawe, Quezon City
Good value for money and you know what you're paying for
Step 1: Choose your meat from the refrigerator. It's clearly packaged indicating type of meat (porterhouse, ribeye, etc), the number of grams, and the equivalent price. Check the meat for either more or less fat, depending on your preferebce
Step 2: at the counter, get the piece of paper and indicate your name, the type of meat, how you want it cooked (eg medium rare), the sauce (spicy pepper or mushroom and gravy) and the sides (I like their mashed potatoes!)
Step 3: Pay at the counter
Step 4: EATING TIME! Water and other sauces are at the self-service station
Personally, I actually really like their porkchop and liempo (even more than their steaks)! They're marinated well, juicy and so much cheaper haha! Having said that, if you're hankering for steak, I'd recommend the following with the given cooking method:
- Porterhouse, cooked medium. Sauce: Spicy pepper
- Angus ribeye, cooked medium rare. Sauce: Mushroom and gravy
Meat Depot has been one of the places I was always curious about whenever we pass by Banawe, luckily we've been invited to see what's inside and let me share the details with you. First off, Meat Depot was established in June 2014 with the purpose of bringing quality meats closer to consumers for food institutions and household, and cooked meats for hungry diners. Meat Depot is a butcher shop and a kitchen on the other.
In Meat Depot you get to choose in their wide variety of meat, fresh, chilled and frozen. You can also customize the cut you want in their butcher station. The also have imported meats like Wagyu, Ribeye and the like. Plus if you crave for Sarangani Bay products they have it here as well. Samgyupsal at home is possible with Meat Depot, they have a while freezer dedicated for these meats and these are a lot!
ANGUS RIB EYE (BLACK MOUNTAIN)
I personally tasted the Medium Rare one and I love how tender the meat is plus the gravy and mashed potato is spot on! I will definitely order this one again!
LIEMPO
OMG their Liempo is a must try!!! I'm telling you this one is different from all the Liempo you've tasted before. The meat is grilled to perfection and the marinate is SPOT ON. Perfect to pair with their spicy vinegar.
PORK CHOP
Another heavenly meat to try, this one is soaked in their signature marinate and grilled tenderly!
For the paluto you can choose either rice or mashed potato and mushroom gravy or spicy pepper.
SMOKED BANGUS
Perfectly smoked and salted milkfish from Sarangani Bay, yet soft and juicy in texture. It's smoked specially and carefully, cooked twice for maximum flavor impact.
MARINATED BANGUS
Premium boneless milkfish from Sarangani Bay marinated to perfection in the classic blend of fresh black pepper, garlic, salt and vinegar.
For the paluto the 100 peso charge is inclusive of rice, egg and vinegar.
Overall:
FOOD - So far from what we have tasted everything tasted so good, the marination was spot on.
PRICE - reasonably fair because it still is quality meat and some are also imported. For dining the 100 pesos paluto charge is alright.
SERVING - Servings are big and hindi ka lugi
AMBIANCE - It has that industrial interiors, the palce is also well ventilated
PARKING - They only have a few spaces in front and they are sharing it with other tenants as well, but you can easily commute to this area.
This branch of Meat Depot in Banawe is a butcher shop, and a restaurant as well. It reminds me of the usual 'paluto' style restaurants, but in this case, they offer meat (pork, beef, fish, no chicken). Customers can choose the cut, sauce, size, doneness, and sides of their meat to their liking. Cooking charge of P100.00 inclusive of rice or mashed potato with mushroom gravy or spicy pepper).
I recommend their Angus Rib Eye (Black Mountain) Steak to be paired with the spicy pepper sauce to give more taste. I always prefer it to be cooked 'medium rare' though some parts were hard to slice that time.
Pork Liempo - premium pork belly marinated with Meat Depot's signature flavor best paired with the mushroom gravy because the liempo itself was flavorful already.
Not a fan of fish meat but they also sell Saranggani Bay products here which was good.
Of course, steaks are best-paired with wines. Meat Depot offer wines as well, it can be La Tita Red wine or Altozano White wine.
This is the 'paluto' restaurant for me (meat lover).

I always see Meat Depot whenever I pass-by Banawe and judging from its name and from the look of it outside, I always thought that Meat Depot is just a store where you can get your meats, but I was wrong. It's like a dampa but instead of seafood, you'll shop for Meat! . I got the chance to dine at Meat Depot because a foodie friend invited us to their blogger's event.
I really like the idea of Meat Depot. It is actually a meat shop which also have cooking services so you can dine in. You need to choose your preferred meat from the fridge and let the staff know how you like it cooked. You can also choose the side dish. We ordered beef salpicao and bacon&cheese sausage and rice as our side dish because the other and only option was mashed potato. Would probably dine again.
A good place for quality usda steaks
(for less than the usual steakhouses).
You start off by picking your meat from the fridge.
They will cook the your steak according to your preferred doneness.
The striploin is sooooo goood!
✅ Taste so good and tasty
✅ Sauce compliments the meat
✅ Beef is just so tender
✅ Fat melts in you mouth
Will we return to this place?
DEFINITELY ❣️
Probably one of the best Steakhouse I've dined into. Ordered their ribeye and I was able to finished it with 3 cups of rice. Every single bite of mine was very unforgettable, worthy every penny. Will definitely go back in times of my craving for some steaks. They also offer decent parking space around the vicinity.
One of the best place to satisfy your meat cravings for a reasonable price, although sometimes they don’t manage to get the perfect doneness you requested, but overall a good restaurant for no drama plain old good steak
Best place with good steak that won't break your wallet. 💛
We got the Porterhouse steaks with mashed potatoes. All the sauces are good and go well with the steak.
Room for improvement is serving the steaks in sizzling plates so that they don't get cold in the middle of eating.
Lol
Actual rating: 3.8
Relative to other steak places, I’d say that this place is good na. I got the Wagyu Striploin cooked medium well with mushroom gravy and fries on the side. It was roughly 1.5K in total.
The fries were typical. Some were crispy, some were not. They were definitely cooked though. They lacked seasoning of salt.
For the steak, I expected something more. They served me a medium rare steak. So, I asked them to cook it more. As it was brought in the kitchen frozen, I think the quality wasn’t as stellar. It lacked seasoning, we added a lot more salt and pepper. The meat was tender, considering it was striploin (but then, wagyu naman). Generally it was good if you add enough salt. Hindi siya chewy nor hard. It was juicy as well.
The mushroom gravy was underwhelming. It was more fit for a fried chicken than steak.
For what it’s worth though, I’d still come back. Better than a lot I’ve tried already.
I love the concept of this restaurant where it lets you choose the size and cut of the meat you want to have. It does not offer too many cuts of steaks though, just the standard porterhouse, rib-eye, striploin, plus salpicao and corned beef offerings. It also offers pork and salmon cuts.
I like the how the steaks are cooked and the spicy pepper gravy I chose went well with my steak. The serving of the gravy is a bit small though. All meats also come with a choice of side dish (fries, mashed potato, or rice). Wine is also on the menu.
The restaurant itself is basic - not fancy, not run-down. Parking availability is extremely limited though.

I came at meat depot yesterday around lunch time, good thing that the place was not crowded. they had me accompanied to go upstairs so that i can order an eat. the ambience is good. you will see all kinds of meat all over the place and the person who assisted me helped me to choose what kind of meat that i need to get and give me the best kind of cook for the meat that i've chose. cooking time only took for 10-15 mins o think and the plate comes with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. the meat and the potatoes taste so good! feels like heaven in other words. haha! i shall come back for more to this place and try other meat like wagyu or porterhouse. hehe! i can recommend my friends to dine to this place and the price is reasonable. btw, if you want them to cook your meat you can add 100php and it also came with one side dish (choices: mashed potato, fries or rice) and it comes w/mushroom gravy or spicy pepper sauce. This place is highly recommended :) try it guys!
Been hearing a lot about meat depot previously but due to location wasn't able to try it out until today. I love their concept of choosing your meat frozen with its price since you can choose if you want a smaller or bigger cut depending on your budget plus just adding a minimal fee for cooking. It worked really well for me. The steak I had was good. Cooked well, juicy and tender.
This is one of my fave places in Banawe. This restaurant is pretty fun since you get to choose your piece of meat from their refrigerators and then you customize your sides. You can have sides like mashed potatoes, fries and rice and for the sauce they have cream sauce and mushroom gravy sauce. There was a third kind of sauce I just forgot haha. Then you pay an additional 100 pesos for the cooking, the side and the sauce which I think is pretty reasonable. I got the sirloin cut and I think the meat cost around 500 something. I think it was worth the price.
If you're not into steak though, I highly highly recommended their marinated porkchop/liempo. It's really good plus it's usually priced at less than 200 pesos. Sometimes when my friends want to pig out they have two orders of the liempo because they don't want just one order of steak. lol buhay baboy I know.
Their salmon is pretty good too and another fave of mine here is their vigan longganisa. It's reallyyyy good! 💕💕 at least if I'm around UST and I'm craving for a nearby place for either the steak or the porkchop, I can go to this place.
My girlfriend and I spent our Vday date here. Pricey but it was worth it. We ordered their porter house and all I can say is Good food. Good service. Great ambiance. Superb!
After work one time my BFF invited to this place in banawe. Apparently, he enjoyed it tremendously. Knowing him, there are only two things that a restaurant must have for him to fully appreciate the dining experience: meals with meat dripping with fat and affordable prices. And Meat Depot fulfills both criteria. So, I braced myself.
I was pleasantly surprised at the place. Situated on the second floor, pinag-isipan ang Meat Depot. After "shopping" for meat, we filled up an order slip then, we paid. Oh, cooking fee is pegged at 100 per.
I wasn't surprised at the meat (no meat that cheap can be tender... duh!). Actually, I was already preparing myself for the worst so I stirred clear of the chilled steaks and opted for the sausages. Safe.
As predicted, my friend's Corned Beef was leathery. We had to sliced it to smaller-than-bite-size size to be able to chew it without rushing to the dentist and/or fall victim to asphyxiation.
The server who bought in our orders was still high-spirited even at 9pm and so was the cashier who was very helpful to a newbie like me. Even for that, it's worthy to come back which I will do soon to try the other sausages. And maybe bring home a pack or two for dear mommy and daddy.
I will keep coming back to this place for my steak fix. I like how I get to choose my meat. I can also work within my budget as meat prices depend on their weight and are marked on the steak appropriately.
Aside from the usual steak cuts, customers also have the option to try out their more affordable options - corned beef, bacon slab, lamb and salmon.
Side dishe choices could still be improved as they only currently offer rice, chunky mashedpo and store bought fries.
Believe the reviews - their steaks tend to be cooked on the rarer side.

Never actually eaten here, we only bought some Macao sausages and cooked it. It was to die for. Best sausage I ever eaten. Macao Sausage, remember it.
This joint offers a different take on steak dining -simple yet satisfying.
The meat cuts are huge and priced per pound which allow customers the option for smaller or bigger portions. It's also good that the meatshop and take-out area are separate from the dining area. Plus points for the wine selection! White for fish and red for meat!
However, i find it limiting that there are no veggies served here.. it would've been a good balance for the steak.. It would've also been better for the dining experience if the plates were not of melawares or plastic.
Parking space is limited but okay.
Nevertheless, overall good food and dining, still 4.0 for meat depot!

Special Remarks: Perfect for customers who know their meats and want to customize their meals from prep to finish. I love how you can choose from the freshest cuts of beef, chicken, pork and fish selections; moreover controlling the amount of fat content and marbling on your cut. Only complaint here is the gravy/sauce which you have to pay an additional fee for a refill (meat amount not proportionate to the sauce).
I am a certified steak lover, as well as my husband. Meat depot's banawe branch is just a few steps away from our home, we visited this resto 1 year ago and now no one can stop us. lol!
I have tried a dry aged meat from other restos but the dry aged of MD is sooo good. You can really taste the difference, the process (i know it's exaggerating) but that's what I thought the first time I tasted their dry aged rib eye. Not to mention, their pricing? Much affordable but you can leave a high expectation.
You can really witness the thickness and the marbling before it gets into the kitchen (since you will be the one to choose your meat)
The juicy-ness, the smell, and the taste. They'd give you all of that. This is literary the steak that I can eat every day (but of course I won't).
Been wanting to try their Banawe branch since foreva 😂 and finally, I HAVE. Compared to their aguirre branch, I was quite disappointed because of their few selections :( but since it was my first time eating a thick slab of corned beef (W/C IS SO GOOD!), I'll surely come back for more ☺️🐄
First time to try Meat Depot and I can say that my experience was fun. I am not fond of meat but it's the suggested place of the doctor na kailangan ko i-meet. Fun kasi ang saya mamili ng meat then customize mo rin yung doneness as well as yung sides and sauce. Price varies on the grams of the meat but I think mine was around 600 (including the cooking fee na 100). I also got corn chowder which has bits of corn and potatoes. Mas ok sana kung meron din silang coffee and wider selection of desserts. :)
Located at the heart of Banawe QC. The good thing about the restaurant is you can choose your own meat. Pricey but worth it. Love it! Try it!
My boyfriend introduced Meat Depot to me after learning it from his family. I’ve always thought that it’s only an ordinary premium butcher shop. I never knew that you can actually buy a meat there and have it cook on the spot. It’s like a mini meat version of Seaside Macapagal’s dampa. Their cooking service is available from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM.
Really good steak priced just right! Get to pick the steak you want however thick you want it.. Drop by early so that you'll get more meat options to choose from..
Got a steak forgot what part but had it done medium it was pretty good but it lacked in taste. It was tender and juicy but lacked in taste. The fries that came with it tasted like the fries from the grocery. They should try to make their own. The liempo wasn't worth it. It was all fat with few meat.
Would i go back? yes i would but only for the steak.
It's all up to you!
We went here on a Saturday evening to satisfy our steak craving. I was expecting it to be full but nah, we were immediately seated. My expectation got a bit high because our ex President (PNoy) and a couple of his friends were also dining at that time (steak must be really good).
Well it's your choice on which meat you want, price also depends on the cut. Disclaimer: I'm bad on remembering "cut" names but the one in the picture was what I got. I felt like there was too much fat on it but nevertheless, steak is steak. That cut was around PHP500+. I usually like my steak medium rare but my friend told me that their medium rare was more like rare so he advised me to have it medium.
After choosing your steak, you choose your sides. Of course I had mine with rice. There were other options also available.
Our orders arrived after 10-15 minutes. I'm quite happy with it because steak was very juice and cooked just the way I want it (medium was really the best choice). I told my friends that place was good for a date night because hello, it's steak for an affordable price. I'll definitely be back soon!
I am not much of a steak lover so I just tried a piece from my daughter's order. No doubt the steak was very good and nicely done (medium) for the price (I think it was over 500 grams). Wife and I had grilled salmon. For a predominantly steak-serving place, their salmon was suprisingly better than those offered by many "better" (and pricier) restaurants. Noteworthy was its juiciness that many other restaurants miss so often. They tend to always overcook the dish resulting in dryness. For around P300 (of course, depending on size), the salmon is a good deal here.
Concept is good. You can buy their meat on the ground floor, and 2nd floor is the restaurant. You choose your meat in their chiller, already priced and labelled, then you fill up a form to order your drinks and side dishes, pay up at the cashier and wait for your number to be called. They only have 2 staffs there. Everything is self served. We had cheesy frank sausage, Angus rib eye and lamb shoulder. The food is good but I want really impressed. For a steak meal, I can say that it is affordable compare to others.
Concept is pretty good, but needs some improvements too. Interior was decent but too bright to be as a steak house. Also the plates were not heated, the foods got cold instantly. Quality of the rib eye was meh and the heating was imperfect. Actually the dry aged rib eye was obviously better.
Sorry for the tad harsh comments, yet my experience at the same concept steak house in Thailand named Arno's was super good, had too high expectations too here. Yet nothing wrong here, the service was decent and just need some more tweak to be perfect.
Also much appreciated if this place had more lineups for the wine selection.

You pretty much get what you pay for here, as you're in complete control on how much and how big your meat is gonna be. Their meat is priced at an okay level, not cheap but not expensive either. I had their striploin, and though there was a good amount of fat on it, it was still mostly okay. The meat was tender enough and well cooked. It's not a budget steak place, but it's not a premium steak place either, it's right in that middle ground. It would be a fine place to visit once in a while to get your steak fix if you want to go beyond the super budget places.
Great food, but they could improve their interior, too plain for me considering the price of their food. I also like that you could choose your steak, depending on the size and price that's fit for you.
We had Angus Beef Rib Eye Steak in Medium doneness for dinner. The food was excellent, great service from the staff too despite the boo-boo earlier regarding the mix up of frozen and chilled products in their chiller.
We came here yesterday and their cuts were huge!! We got a 490gram USDA Angus for only PhP 600! Albeit the huge cuts, the quality of their meats aren't high. It wasn't tender with so much fat. I'd recommend cooking their steak medium rare, otherwise the meat will already taste leathery.
I would still recommend this restaurant especially for steak and meat lovers on a budget. It's fairly enough to satisfy your carnivorous cravings.
FOOD (Taste) - 3.9
- Lamb Rib Rack Steak (Medium Well and Medium Rare; Mushroom Gravy; Rice) - 3.8
- Cheesy Frank Sausage (Well Done; Mushroom Gravy; Mashed Potato) - 4.0
The lamb rib rack was a little bit salty for my taste, but it's tolerable, just enough if you pair it with the rice and/or mashed potato. We wanted a half of the rack in medium well and the other to be medium rare, and it was on-point. The cheesy frank sausage tasted okay as well. Side dishes (rice and mashed potato) and sauce was okay.
FOOD (Value for Money) - 4.5
- Lamb Rib Rack Steak Meal (Php 447.56) - 4.0
- Cheesy Frank Sausage Meal (124.67) - 4.5
- Cooking Cost (Php 200.00) - 5.0
AMBIANCE - 5.0
SERVICE - 5.0
*Note that the restaurant applies the self-service practice, so I only rated (1) the speed at which we received our food after ordering, (2) the staff's attitude upon giving us our food and upon request of taking our photo after the meal.
OVERALL - 4.6
Meat Depot is still highly recommended for those who want a meat fix for a reasonable cost. I will definitely come back soon.
This is the place to eat if you want a good quality meat but with a reasonable price while meat selection they have steak, ribs, pork chops and chicken skin. Piece of advice less is more cause i got the steak with the heaviest weight not knowing the pack was vacuum packed so it was bigger when its cooked 0.4 to 0.5 is already enough for one person
Its a good place that satisfied my craving for steak. All kinds of cuts are there and prices vary to suit the budget. The ambience is good and the staff are friendly. Their selection of wine also matches their steak. Will definitely go back again for mooooore!
Bought a 444g AB rib eye steak. It was well seasoned, perfectly cooked! For somethig sooooo cheap, total bill was 700+ php, it was surprisingly worth it. The staff were friendly, specially the lady in charge of the frozen section. Two thumbs up for meat depot!
This the 1st time to try meat depot even though we live nearby, we orderd rib eye steak, porkchop and soup of the day which is mushroom soup.1st you have to choose the meat that you want to eat. Well the rib eye and porkchop well cooked like what we want to be, the taste is excellent the porkchop is tasty and not hard to chew, the rib eye is not over cooked so chewy and tasty. Service is great very accomodating. We surely going back soon👍👍👍
Steak.............................................................................................................................................................
My girlfriend saw this restaurant around Zomato, and since she knows that I LOVE steaks, we decided to try this place.
All I can say that their steak was excellent. If I can just go back there everyday, I would. I am not kidding you, when I say that they know how to cook their steak. The staff was attentive and nice, and they also have an option for customers to buy different kinds of frozen meat products (fishball, tapa, longganisa, steak, bangus, etc.)
This is a must-try restuarant around Banawe.
Seeing this Meat Depot as I passed along Quezon Avenue yesterday, arises my curiosity… I haven't been to a restaurant that offers a wide array of meat. So with no further delay, I stepped in the big door which led me to this:. I felt like standing in the middle of a room full of meat.. I turned around eager to know of how will I start to choose and order my food. The struggle is real..hahaha.. indeed it is! I don't know if i will order, sausages, rib eye, pork, chicken or lamb - I am speechless!
The steak here is a must try
(The meat was so tender and marinated well.
Place is so so
Personel were not really helpful
Over-all, this place is still a must-try for meat-lovers :)
Dry aged Ribeye and Japanese Wagyu Beef for the win! A little bit pricey but worth it! Super juicy, tender, tasty and yummmmmmmmyyyyyyyy!!!!!
1st step.. Go to the chiller and choose your steak, pork or fish.
2nd step.. Choose your side dish (rice, mashed potato or fries) and sauce(mushroom sauce, cream sauce or spicy pepper sauce)
3rd step.. Let them cook your meat. Pay.
4th step.. Get your utensils and condiments
5th step.. Claim your cooked meat... It will be done in just about 10 minutes!
Super fast and great service!
Nothing fancy.. If you are looking for a simple place just to fill up ur tummy then this is the perfect place!
cooking is not consistent. their price is ok. you buy meats at grocery price and only add Php100 for the cooking charge. the Php100 includes gravy and choice of side dish. in here, being a vegetarian is a big missed steak; you are missing a lot.
GREAT STEAKS! You pick your own meat so there is no excuse in getting the wrong quality meat. Pepper sauce was superb! Had my striploin steak for around 500 (around 400gms)... big miSTEAK. IT WAS TOO BIG. Burp. Fillet mignon cut in the future?
"Being a vegetarian is a Big MISSED STEAK."
This is very much true for us meat lovers. Here at Meat Depot you can choose steak pieces cooked to your liking. We arrived around 7pm, got the Porterhouse and Sirloin and had it cooked medium well. It was my first time here so I was praying that the meat would be cooked just the way I liked it, and boy they did not disappoint! We chewed to our hearts delight, and enjoyed the mashed potato as well. Very tasty and affordable steaks here, and as we eat we were already planning our next meal here at Meat Depot. I hear the salmon and lamb chops are great, so I'm really excited!
I am carnivorous, and I can’t have it any other way. No disrespect to the vegans out there, but because reasons—primarily, steak and bacon. It doesn’t even have to be a fancy place that I visit to get my fix. As long as the meat is fairly tender, cooked to my liking, and well-seasoned, I’m there. I think meat lovers will seriously appreciate the no-frills approach of Meat Depot in Quezon City and Parañaque City.
I was able to visit their Banawe branch one Sunday evening. The first floor of the shop is devoted to butchery and frozen meat meant to be taken home, while the second floor features the dining area with a separate fridge for thawed meat you can have cooked immediately.
Regardless what meat you pick out, the PHP 100 cooking fee remains the same. The fee is for each pack of meat. Meaning, you could choose a pack of Wagyu or longganisa and still pay the same price for cooking on top of what you pay for the meat itself. It’s the all-meat version of a paluto (a kind of restaurant where you purchase your seafood/meat by weight in a wet market or grocery store and pay the cook only for the labor and side dishes). Sounds like a sweet deal, since their cooking fee also includes your choice of sauce (mushroom gravy, cream sauce, or spicy pepper sauce) and either rice or mashed potatoes. You pay additional if you want to get drinks, soup, and dessert. In all fairness, they even offer a wine selection.
It’s a self-service eatery. Once you’re done selecting your meat, you fill up a form with how you want your steak to be cooked and what sauce and sidings you’d like. Then you take that to the counter and pay for the food.
The food, an Angus striploin steak, was simple but properly seasoned. I wasn’t able to try out the processed meats (longganisa, tocino, etc.), but the steak had the customary salt and pepper. Remember: This is, first and foremost, a meat shop, so the quality of the meat has to take center stage. The meat was juicy and fairly tender—as tender as you get with medium-well. Both mashed potato and gravy hit the spot. The portion size is all up to you when you choose your meat as some cuts are bigger and thicker than others. The size of my steak was precisely one square meal for me.
After the eating, you can go shopping… That’s what I did!
Verdict: For a place that isn’t specifically a restaurant, the crowds are flocking. This is the kind of steak place to go when you just want to enjoy your meat in peace without all the bells and whistles. That keeps the prices low, and who doesn’t want that?
The place is clean cozy. You
Can buy quality steaks downstairs and they cook the steak upstairs. Cooking

We had the strip loin its about sinewy and medium well not too well. They ran out of lamb chop which I heard was good.
Also heard salmon is good. Will have to come back again and try the other stuffs. Worth coming back....
Second visit was perfect, tender juicy steak rib eye and lamb ribs and this time I was not disappointed. Medium well cooked perfectly juicy steak.yummy really worth coming back again and again.
A friend recommended this place. Reminded me of Meat Plus Cafe in Subic where you can pick your choice of steak from the chiller and have them cook it for you + P100 cooking charge. It will include a choice of one side dish: fries, mashed potato or rice. It would have been better they have more choices from the chiller. Choices were- Black Angus (P1,500+/k), lamb chops, roast beef, salmon steaks. The other chest type chiller had sausages, longganisa and tocino - not sure if you can have them cook these as well. Wish also that they would include more choices on the menu - maybe some grilled hamburgers or hotdogs. The steaks, lamb chops and salmon came out well. Nicely seasoned and cooked over a grill. Loved the gravy. Suggest to maybe add an option for a side of cooked veggies. They have a meat shop downstairs where you can purchase good quality local and imported meat.
Ambience: They didnt have any music so it was quiet.
Food: Here at meat depot, you can buy the meat raw, and take them home frozen or you can choose from their selection of marinated meats and ask them to cook it (you'll just have to pay an extra 100). We ordered their lamb ribs, liempo (very very tasty. It was my favourite), bacon (i was so surprised because it didnt shrink in size when it was cooked hahaha), and rib eye
