Food is not from your typical menu but it is surprisingly good and affordable!! Even my parents who are filipino food addicts loved the food. Must try are chicken pita, fried corn fritters, chicken bbq and callos.
Haven't gone back since Feb but I'm itching for the pork chop and dirty rice.
Excellent food, great people, unique combination of food. This is now my comfort food.

Nice place sarap ng food! mababait ang crew babalik ulit kmi dyan....
Great Food,Good ambiance and the staff are very accomodating. So I'm gonna come back here again.👍🏻👍🏻
For a restaurant that started their operation 2 months ago service was really excellent and food was superb! I have to suggest the grilled pork chop best one I have tasted and the slow-cooked beef didn't need any knife! Can't wait for your next dishes!
Every time I go home to the PH this is my "first stop" for quality food.
The grilled pork chop is a must-try! Good ambience, very homey, friendly staff. Recommended for family gatherings, mid-week get-togethers, business meetings, or good old quality time.
Warm staffs and nice food. Ambiance is really homey.
Great food, great staff, nice ambience!!! Love the place!!!
simple yet elegant restaurant.. specially the food that they served..there's a uniqueness on it, the style , the presentation and the taste..superb! TRY IT and TASTE IT.. :) :)
Terrace 45 has a real feel of being homey yet classy. It is situated in the neighbouring areas of the Scout area.
The food was really good! I especially loved the Paella Arancini and Creamy Pesto. The plating is also very nice. The prices are pretty standard. The service was also really accommodating.
I would definitely come back and recommend friends to come dine here!
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I must say that he has good taste. Too bad not many people go here. We arrived around 7-ish for dinner and there were no other diners around. We ordered their prawn pasta, fish and chips, grilled porkchop and salmon belly skewers. They were not kidding when they said their grilled porkchop was their best seller; it was superb! It also comes with a flavourful serving of rice. I enjoyed the pasta as well. The other two dishes were just okay.
I love this restaurant . The ambience is so elegant and the staff are friendly. The food is serve in an enticing manner that it will enhance your appetite combined with the overall set up of the dinner table. I will surely go back to bring friends and family

I like the ambience in Terrace 45 and we eat here when we just want to have a relaxing and quiet lunch. I highly recommend their chicken pitacos- so healthy, light and refreshing...perfect appetizer or even a light meal! Their Skillet fried chicken, salpicao and grilled pork chop are also delicious and filling! For callos lovers, you should come to Terrace 45. My mom still makes the BEST callos, of course, but even she admits that Terrace 45’s version comes close to hers but definitely beats callos in other spanish restaurants in Metro Manila! It’s also what my husband always orders here👍 my dad’s favorite is their Prawns Thermidore pasta...so rich, flavourful and creamy and they really use prawns! 🦐 Another highly recommended dish here is our very own lechon kawali...but theirs is a HUGE serving- perfect for sharing though I devoured the entire serving hahaha!!! It’s not fatty either, which is a plus for me! 😁👍

Place is small but it’s okay cause for me I like eating in places that aren’t too crowded. As for the food, I have no words... THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!
CHOPS SO GOOD
This place is a pleasant surprise. Ambiance of the place is inviting and has a peaceful vibe to it.
The porkchop is really good. Meat is tender, juicy and flavorful.
The place is quite secluded. If you want to dine privately, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Thursday night for our anniversary date. So far, the only place where we loved a Grilled Pork Chop without any "sawsawan" 😜. And plus points for the playlist!!
Thursdays are sacred for I spend my lunch (and coffee after) with my dear dad. No reason but my mom normally stays home to enjoy her me-time even for a few precious hours.
Dad is more adventurous (and open) than mommy. That's why with dad, I can take him to new places, new restaurants to try and not be bothered by bitchy remarks after (of course, I didn't say my mom is capable of bitchiness... you, my dear readers, just implied it).
It was a good call to take daddy for a "#DadDate" to Terrace 45. Maaliwalas (sorry, no apt English word for it) ang lugar. Giving very positive vibes. Decors are minimal and somber. Even the servers are subdued never the annoyingly too-happy type (and for we know are all put-on) ever eager to please.
Dad and I started with the Homemade Potato Chips with Aoli. My dad finished the whole order (need I say more?). Next, the Beef Salpicao and the Fried Chicken Sandwich. The Salpicao was oh-so tender and seasoned just right. And the Chicken? Well, it was too-much-of-a-challenge to eat because you need to open real wide to have a decent bite or else the chicken fillet would just slide away and ruin what might be your best shirt or worse, blacken your immaculate reputation. May I suggest that you pound it a bit (escalope)? But of course, nowadays, restaurant owners need to take in for consideration two very, very important things: one, taste and two, Instagram. Mali ako o mali ako?
Anyway, I will bring friends over that's for sure. As for mommy? I will also take her here. I'm sure that she'll leave Terrace 45 satisfied, happy and yes, quiet.
Ambience - Can pass as an intimate date place.
Food - Ordered Pumpkin Soup and Prawn Thermidor Pasta. Both tasted good but not extraordinary.
Price - A bit expensive to be a weekly hangout place. Eat here when there's something to celebrate.
Service - Thumbs up! It was great!
Will I come back? Yes, but maybe after two years.
(Late review) Was out with my friends one weekend and we decided to try something new. Terrace 45 is nestled at Tomas Morato, bringing in intimate yet sophisticated vibes at the more quiet side of Tomas Morato.
Here's how our evening went:
Chicken Croquetas- I love how crisp the coating was, given how creamy the mashed potatoes were with a small pieces of chicken inside. I just wish the cheese would have been melted a bit more. I think it would be best to use Mozzarella or any other fast melting, creamy cheese for the dish.
Slow-cooked Beef- great food takes time and so did this dish! I love how layered the flavors were on this dish. You can taste from the sauce how rich and succulent the beef was, hinted just with the right amount of salt, it compliments the cream its mixed in. I also love the flavors of toasted garlic it came with to make it more fragrant and flavorful. I love how soft the texture of the beef was. This is perfect with rice or mashed potatoes.
Butterscotch pudding- I wasn't really that happy when I tried the dish. It was a bit hard for me to be considered a pudding yet I love how sweet it was. If I may suggest, put a bit of salt to have a bit of contrast to balance the dish out. I also do hope that it can be creamier and lighter.

Went here for our reunion for a change. The place was not difficult to find and parking was quite accessible. So we tried a lot of their dishes but my personal favorite was the eggplant dip. The caesar salad lacks taste and also the prawn thermidor pasta. The lengua with chips was also yummy. The service was good. The ambience was nice for gatherings but reservations is a must for the space was quite small. We also tried their desserts. I liked the blueberry pavlova and butterscoth pudding. 😘
Tried Terrace 45 last night with a couple of friends. Great ambience - perfect for intimate dinners or long conversations with friends. The interior has a very warm, homey feel to it - all light colors, minimalist design. Makes you want to pull out a sofa and just live there. Service is quite good too - they served our food real quick.
You get your money's worth for the food. I'd recommend their Grilled Salmon, Lengua and Chips, and Slow-cooked Beef for main dish. The meat (for all three) were soft and well-flavored. For appetizer, get their Chicken Pitacos. Altho, I think they can still improve the yoghurt on the Pitacos (recommend they use classic Greek Tzatziki).
Not impressed with their Cheese Croquetas and Grilled Pork Chops. The croquetas were not as cheesy as I expected them to be (as I expect ANY cheese croquetas to be) while the Grilled Pork Cop was really just so-so. Not to mention the 'dirty rice' that came with it was greasy as heck (they weren't kidding when they called it 'dirty').
Great for: reunion dinners (great for friends, but not loud[fun]friends), dates (actual dates where you try to get to know a person, not when you plan to take her/him home)
Love their pork rind poutine and baked potato soup for starters. Also got their sweet potato wedges and cesar salad which was just ok.
For entrees, got all their best selling dishes---spiced herb rub ribs, callos, lengua (delicious!), porkchop, slow cooked beef, salpicao (winner!) and bbq chicken.
To cap the dinner, had some pudding---too sweet and not exactly the kind of pudding I know...and genmaicha which was very heartwarming and nice as they added some barley to it.
Overall, a good place to eat and celebrate with family and friends.
Terrace 45's Grilled Porkchop with Dirty Rice is the bomb. Just the right thickness of meat, well-seasoned and grilled to perfection. It rested on top of an equally well-seasoned rice and grilled onions, tomatoes, and eggplant.
The place is also nice. No mobile phone signal so you will be forced to talk over your lovely meals. Tried this resto twice, so far so good.

Located along Sct. Lozcano, I've first read about Terrace 45 in some of the reviews on Zomato. The other night, while on the way home, I called for a reservation for 2 and was in luck to have been accommodated. Why? When we arrived, the first thing the guard asked if we had a reservation. Upon entering the restaurant, the place is PACKED! We ordered the corn fritters and cheese croquetas for apps, the salpicao and slow cooked beef for the mains. The corn fritters were nice though I would have liked it better if it had a filling like other restos do. The croquetas was slightly underwhelming as I can't seem to taste the cheese in it. Both the beef mains were cooked perfectly! The salpicao was juicy and tender while the slow cooked beef was soft and tasty. Nice place to have a quiet dinner or date.
Appetizer:
Buffalo Bacon Wings- chicken was cooked well but the bacon wrap was not too few to be noticed and tasted. All together, the dish was cooked well, meat remained juicy and not dry. The combination of the garlic-mayo and the hot sauce made the chicken tastier.
Salad:
Caesar Salad (no photo)- It's the usual caesar salad, but thumbs up to their honey glazed bagel crouton. It's very delicious! 😋
Main Course:
•Grilled Porkchop- the porkchop was grilled well, plus this gave the porkchop its smoky aroma and taste.
•Slow-cooked beef- the beef was soft and tender (no knife needed) , its roasted garlic gravy gave the beef a more flavorful mouthfeel.
•Prawns Thermidor pasta- before even coming here to eat, i was already excited to taste this. The photo i saw looks so appetizing and it made me want to taste it right away. When i ordered it, i was a bit disappointed because i had high expectations for this. The prawns and pasta were cooked well, but personally, i can say that the pasta lacks a few seasoning because the creamy taste overpowered the taste of the prawns.
Dessert:
Honey Cinnamon Crisp- i personally like this, but the syrup was a bit sweet for me. The crispiness of the fried pastry was a good combination with the honey cinnamon and ice cream. It plays with different texture in one dish and the flavors used are all deliciously incorporated! 👍🏻
Ambiance: it's a quiet and cozy place. It's a place where you can have meetings or at the same time, a place where you can just hang out and eat 😋
“We’re home!” The feeling upon entering the clean and modern vicinity of Terrace 45. Its food resembles its homey ambiance – comforting and familiar.
The Food:
Pork Rind Poutine (Php 185) - I imagined sitting like a couch potato, television in front of me, while reaching my hands on these highly addictive Pork Rind Poutine. Hand-cut fries sitting on gravy, with homemade chicharon, fried garlic chips and aioli on top.
Chicken Pitacos (Php 220) - This has to be my favorite, Chicken Pitacos. An excellent mix of Greek-style chicken on homemade pita bread with tomato, lettuce and onion. Guilt-free with a taste that refreshes and not overpowering with each other’s flavors.
Grilled Pork Chop (Php 325) - Giant slab of Grilled Pork Chop marks itself as the best-seller. In a place where people seeks for comfort, they found it in this Grilled Pork Chop served with dirty rice and grilled vegetables. Easily appreciated for its flavorful marinade, this solves your problem when you can’t decide what to eat for the night.

Terrace 45 has comfort written all over- from food, ambiance to service. I was going through top rate restos around the South triangle neighborhood and decided to try terrace 45 because it got a lot of good rating in terms of service. And the reviews were right, you have courteous and attentive staff always ready to serve you. Even the guards would open the door of your car for you.
When I got there for dinner they had about 3 customers (including us) we got there a bit late around 8pm already and they asked for kitchen last call at around 930 as they were closing at 10pm.
Menu choices didn't have much but they had a good mix of main dish proteins, appetizers, drinks and desserts.
Pumpkin soup- it was good. It had the right thickness and creaminess. I also like the hint of sweetness to the soup. Great for starters. It was actually kind of filling.
Roasted eggplant dip - the home made pita bread is really good. Although the roasted eggplant is not as good as the ones served in Mediterranean restaurants but it was good enough to fill you up while you wait for the main dish.
Cheese croquettes - deep friend to perfection. I didn't get to feel the cheese that much. I think the dish could do without the dip.
Buffalo bacon wings - I didn't expect that this would turn out like chicken lollipops instead of literal chicken wings. Generally I like the dish ordered it twice. The buffalo sauce was not too spicy and had a sweet taste. The chicken meat is wrapped with bacon and fried. To be honest, the combination sounds heavenly but nothing special with this dish.
Bbq chicken flatbread - to be honest this dish isn't as delectable as you imagine it to be. Flat bread is try. bbq sauce is too over powering. Bread and Bbq sauce didn't mix together. I suggest that you don't order this dish, not unless if the chef would improve the dish.
Slow cooked beef - the beef was really tender and soft my problem with this dish is the gravy. It had too much. And I didn't really like the gravy :( maybe for others they would love this dish. Could be good for sharing.
Grilled pork chop- pretty good, nothing special as well. The pork chop marinade/rub was okey. The dirty rice tasted okey din.
Spice rubbed ribs - I didn't get to taste their ribs but my friends said it was good. Will try this on my next visit.
Creamy pesto and mushroom- the pesto sauce was good, it had a generous serving.
Prawns Thermidor pasta - I also didn't get to try the dish but my friends were raving about it too. Another dish to try on my next visit.
Butterscotch pudding - pretty okey the cake was good.
Honey cinnamon crisp - the fried pastry tastes awkward. Not my type of dessert. The vanilla ice cream is good.
Earl grey brewed iced tea - nothing special.
Generally the ambiance and the service makes up for the hit or miss dishes of terrace 45.
Very good food. The ribs are very tender and tasty. I enjoyed the caesar salad as well. Good place to enjoy comfort food with family and friends. Will definitely come back.

Had my sister's birthday dinner last night at terrace 45. Really great for intimate family dinner or even date night.
Interior is refreshing. Their staff were so accommodating. Food was a bit pricey but reasonable.
Buffalo Bacon Wings
- I don't think I've tasted the bacon but the dish has a nice twist.
Pumpkin Soup
-creamy and healthy
Lengua and Chips
-The chips quite complements the creamy lengua
Prawns Thermidor Pasta
-Nice prawn filling, super creamy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta but the downside is it was a bit oily.
Raspberry Freshly Brewed Iced Tea
-complements the whole dish because it was not that sweet
Taste- 5
Price- 4
Service- 5
Ambiance- 5
My colleagues and I dined here last year. Terrace 45 is found in one of the Scouts, in a peaceful area of Morato where not much cars are passing through. Because of that, it's not that easy to locate. But our hungry tummies did. 😋
Everything we ordered were very satisfying. All tasted great! Try their Prawn Thermidor pasta, slow-cooked beef, their pork chop, bacon-chicken wings dish i forgot the name, lengua, and also try their dirty rice. All were yummy! 😋😋
My husband & I tried this resto based on a high rating review given by a Zomato reviewer & unfortunately we were not similarly impressed.
We were at Terrace 45 before it opened at 5pm as my husband was so excited to taste their menu. We were scouting for a place for his birthday.
The place has nice, spacious & clean interiors & the staff, from the security to the servers, are all friendly & attentive.
We had the suggested bestsellers: Pork Rind Poutine, Buffalo Bacon Wings, Pumpkin Soup, Spiced Rubbed Ribs & Prawns Thermidor.
While they were all nicely presented, I only liked the Prawns Thermidor pasta with its unique explosion of flavors.
The Baby Back Ribs-- my husband & I found dry. The Buffalo Bacon Wings was refreshingly crispy on the outside & soft on the inside but nothing that you would go back to. The Pumpkin Soup was just okay. & the Pork Rind Poutine, i didn't like at all! It was just chicharon & fries with gravy & some other sauce.
So overall, if we find ourselves in this area, maybe we can try a dish or two. But Terrace 45 is nothing really special that you'll actually go out of your way to GMunch.

First seen in Spot.ph and since this restaurant is just a few tumblings from my office plus intrigued by a 1.5 rating from someone here at Zomato, we decided to check it out.
Place: Amazing! Small but clean with a hint of simple glamour, it's a perfect place for a date!
Service: Just as amazing as the place.
Food: - sweet potato wedges is good, prawn thermador pasta was the star of our meal, and slow cooked beef was delicious but without the 'wow' factor.
Sweet potato wedges is plainly your fine dining camote que. The dip was very nice coupled with a weird bagoong like paste that was sweet and salty that blends perfectly for that above average apetizer.
The slow cooked beef lived to its description with the tenderness of the meat. It reminded me of the beef brisket rice served in our high school canteen because the sauce was all over together with the rice.
The prawn thermador pasta stood out because of the subtle creaminess paired with perfectly cooked prawn with some mushrooms and spices. The taste wasn't overpowering and 'malansa'.
It's really rare that you find something in a menu that'd make you go back to the place just because of it. A few things on the top of my head, or should I say in the tip of my tongue would be the beef salpicao from The Frazzled Cook, the Steak from The Perfect Pint, the ribs from Banaple, or the iced tea from Buddha Bar.
I still rate this place a 4 simply because it deserves it overall. Food may not be top notch but the place and service made up for it. I'm sure the people in the kitchen will continue to improve their menu so things will just be better and we haven't tried everything on the menu so there still might be something there that will add to my list above.
But then again, your point of view may vary.
Note: This isn't along Tomas Morato, but in Scout Santiago corner Scout Dr. Lazcano.

We've learned about this resto through an article released by spot.ph months back about the must visit latest restos up North.
Terrace 45 has an elegant and sleek ambiance. Modern glass panels mixed with wooden accents - it actually looks like the house I wanna turn into my home.
Despite being open only from 5pm-11pm, and having a selected few items in their menu, I gave this resto a 5 because they were spot on with all things that make a resto visit truly memorable! Let me tell you why:
1. While they only have 2 parking slots, the area has a large street fronting it with no restos within the vicinity to share with (yet) Parking should not be a problem. There were also 2 guards who welcomed us. Which was surprising because the resto is not that big. I feel absolutely secure!
2. Like I said, the resto is a bit small with an approximate sitting capacity of 30. But they had quite a number of servers - all dressed up neatly and nicely, all so attentive if our glasses were not full, if our plates needs to be removed from the table. It's like they can read our minds. I like servers who are pro-active. Since it was our first time to visit, we also asked for recommendations, and they know how to answer our questions on ingredients, serving size, what was good in the menu. I feel like I was in a 5 star restaurant!
3. We had the following dishes:
- chicken lollies wrapped in bacon which is like nothing ive ever tried! sweet and oh so crispy wrapped in bacon! I dont know how they did it, but it was a kitchen masterpiece! It also came with celery sticks and carrots with a dipping sauce that tasted so good!
- ribs which was so flavorful and soft! P400+ for that half rib! I deliberately didn't finish it because I wanted to take home some of the goodness!
- shrimp pasta which is nothing I've ever tried. My boyfriend and I even discussed what could have been in it and we were clueless. Basta, masarap siya!
- raspberry home made iced tea - you can truly taste the freshly brewed tea with a hint of raspberry that wasn't overwhelming.
4. I could see the chefs from a small window from the bar, I see so many of them. It's so nice that the owners really spend on staffing the resto well whether it be with security, waiters or the kitchen.
5. The food was surprisingly cheap! Overall we paid a thousand bucks and we were stuffed!
The waiter asked us how we felt about the food afterwards, we were all smiles and told him how happy we were with the experience. Ross, you were wonderful, I hope your bosses read this and tell you that you really made our night extra special with your kind and accommodating service.
Gaaah, I'm so happy! I'm coming back! I wanna come back tomorrow and try the other dishes!
Last week we had a whole day food tasting with my Co-Instabloggers and for our 3rd stop in our food itinerary was Terrace 45. As you enter the main entrance you can see that the place was very home-y, spacious and clean. Perfect for friends, colleagues and family gatherings.
Buffalo Bacon Wings (265php) Crispy bacon-wrapped chicken lollipops, spicy buffalo glaze, veggie sticks and garlic mayo. Crunchy and flavorful.
Pork Rind Poutine (185php) Hand-cut fries, gravy, homemade chicharon, fried garlic and aioli. Ohhh! I love their chicharon! I can still hear the crunchy sound of their chicharon!
For the mains..
Chicken Barbeque (310php) Grilled half spring chicken, steamed rice and homemade atsara on the side. Juicy on the inside.
Grilled Pork Chop with Dirty rice and grilled vegetables (325php) Unfortunately, this is my least favorite among all the dishes they served The liver on the dirty rice overpowers the whole dish. The grilled pork chop was dry and kinda tough
Lengua & Chips (365php) Slices of tender ox tongue, creamy mushroom gravy and crispy potato chips. I love how tender the ox tongue is! Perfect with their crispy potato chips
Slow-cooked Beef (345php) It's a slow-cooked tender beef in roasted garlic gravy, topped with toasted garlic, steamed rice with a side of seasonal vegetables. I liked it! Tender, flavorful and filling.
Prawns Thermidor Pasta (395php) Tiger prawns, button mushrooms, bell peppers, cream sauce, melted cheddar. They used linguine pasta. Creaaaaamy. I loved it! :)
Chicken ‘Pitacos” is a greek style chicken with homemade pita bread, tomatoes, cucumber and onions.
Rainbow Jelly for dessert! It’s not yet available in the menu but the owner let us try their new product and it was good! It’s a layers of gelatine with graham crumble on top. It reminds me of cathedral cake.

Late lunch and early dinner. Terrace 45. Callos and slow cooked beef. Practically priced. Callos is done right. The beef was tender and full flavored. Restaurant interior and ambience music is chill house but it works. A must try.
We tried this resto after seeing it featured online. Their menu is simple, offers good 'ol comfort food. We had their eggplant dip which i found too cold for my type and some of the breads were oily. My friend had their fried chicken steak which he loved, just the right kind of thinness and the batter was crispy. The callos i ordered was good, that's coming from a callos first-timer. Its soup was rich, better for sharing.
I think about and crave their pork chop several days after having it! The Genmaicha iced tea is also so refreshing. The poutine also lives up to the hype. Perfect place to hang out and catch up with friends and family!
Their pork rind poutine is soooo memorable. Gave me a Eureka moment. Plus the ambiance is really good and private. T45 is THE perfect date place👍
Nice date place! Been here twice, both times not crowded. Waiter was efficient despite being the only one serving us. Had the wings (expected more but not bad) and beef stew (super soft, taste is okay). Serving is for the hungry! We keep coming back for the porkchop!!! :D
My friends and I wanted to try this place sisnce it opened. We just finally had the time to meet after a series of busy schedules and crazy work projects.
We had dinner here, it's a nice cozy place. Definitely one of those old houses converted into restaurants. Interior was great. Simple and very relaxing. Nice place to get together and just chill and hangout.
We ordered just enough to feed 3 hungry tummies. First was the Caesar salad with the sweet toasted bagel. It was fabulous. Just the right amount of cheese and bacon. We also hand the pork rind poutine. The fries was a little oily than its supposed to be. But the gravey surprise at buttom of the plate was marvelous. We also had the spice rubbed ribs which was cooked just right. Though i couldn't taste the spice at all. But the meat was tender. We also had the vegetable parmagiano. It was amazing, healthy and the oasta was cooked al-dente! Yuuum! Fish and chips was by far the biggest disappointment. The fish was oily and i think it wasn't cooked well too. The fries was oily too. We just had to leave it there because it's too much. All in all it was still a lovely experience. They just need to do something about their way of deep frying. :)
