Ate here because of Citibank’s 50% off promo on saturdays. It was a really good deal so I brought my sisters here.
Instead of a group meal, we have all different meals. Since it was first time here, we are very surprised on their very large servings. I’m a big eater and I can easily finish 1/2 - 2/3 pound burger of zarks and big better burger but this time I’m no match.
No complains about the taste and the ambience. We even plan to go back here. But with group meals instead.

Had a quick chit chat with my friend here. Maaga kami nagpunta so dipa masyado matao. At first, I thought it was a bit pricy pero madami naman pala ang serving and masarap. I had to take out some of it.

Had a quick bonding session with a close friend here and shared a serving of Chicken Fingers and Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta. We loved the food and were so full after! I think we ordered for 3 people, but we finished the food anyway. 😅

I used to think a fanciful meal in Fridays always had to break the bank but I was wrong! On lunchtimes there are some dishes you can get for 300+, and their Country Fried Chicken was one such beautiful discovery. Still a hefty price, yes, but delightfully delicious! The sauce....it was exotic and good! The rice was so flavorful. The whole dish was just oozing with flavor. I finally understood why this place is held in so much veneration. You do pay a lot, but the experience is heavenly.

Ordered Jack Daniel's Country Ribs and Shrimp and 1lb buffalo wings. Ribs was suprisingly tender, you know, the bone-falling-from-the-meat kind. A little underseasoned ung shrimp but was fine when paired with coleslaw. If you're on #keto, the wings is something u can order, i dont think it has breading kase. 🙂

This TGIF has produced higher quality food for us than the TGIF in BGC. BGC TGIF overcooks the food but they are also a lot busier.

Good: Burgers. Salmon. Calamari.
Okay: Service a bit slow even when not busy. Portion sizes.
Bad: Hot Wings. JD Pork Chops.

If you are going to be here more than a month, get The Bistro Card for the discounts. Otherwise don't let them sell it to you - it's a ripoff if you don't use it a lot.

Weekend rush and we wanted something a bit light, well, we thought it was light! So we tried TGIFriday in Eastwood Citywalk. I just ordered the Calypso Calamari Salad with unlimited Strawberry Iced Tea and the combination was divine! The sweet taste of the iced tea goes well with the flavor of the salad, which is well balanced with the crisp & savory squid. It was sort of a not so heavy dinner that a dieter would go for. The place was filled to capacity & we had to wait for quite some time but it was okay. Will be back to try out other eats to review.

Our family's favorite restaurant and branch. The servers are great (especially Jen - she knows us already since time in memorial). Food is great! For appetizers, we always order the mozarella sticks and fried calamares. 😋 The Jack Daniel's Ribs and Shrimp is soooooo good. The cajun chicken pasta is a must try, it is spicy.. But if you want to lessen the heat, you can ask them to reduce the spice. The Mocha Mud Pie is our favorite dessert, sweet and chocolatey ice cream cake. The place is great too. Lovely ambiance for casual dining. 🤩 service is fast too.

Wednesday at Friday's!😃

Celebrated a friend's birthday here... It was a night of burger with a side of ribs (luh🤪)! That's for real btw...

The group of seven shared several dishes. We had the buffalo chicken bites, truffle chips, and their ballpark nachos. Each one gives you a pop of flavor! However, I liked the ballpark nachos the most TBH.

We had the BBQ baby back ribs and fish and chips as our sides. Lol, seriously!😅 Love their tender ribs! #muchyums

We had their burgers-- one for each of us! #carboloading I had the Jack Daniels burger while most of my friends had the shitake truffle burger. Between the two, just go for the shitake truffle burger. It had a distinct truffle taste that was luxurious. The mushroom mixture on top was creamy and buttery in taste. It's a crowd pleaser I think.

Since we were at Friday's, the service was fantastic! Water glasses always filled, food served fast, staff were accomodating. Of course, ice cream and a song for the celebrant...😃 We had a great time, fosho!

P.S.
I wish they had a separate restroom for guys and girls. Wait was a little long for the loo...

Today we decided to splurge a bit and ended up in TGI Friday's. This restaurant is on the upscale category in terms of pricing but you'll get your money's worth with their hefty servings.

Interior is well layed out, not cramped with western design elements scattered around all corners and walls.

Menu selection is "too many to mention", with a variety of alcoholic beverages. Included in my must-try list are:
- Fridays Chili Ball Park Nachos
- Texas Ribeye
- Three-Meat Platter
- Bacon Jalapeño Mozzarella Burger
- Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta

Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Value for Money: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the most expensive I have spent on a single meal. I forgot the name but it sure did a lot of damage on my wallet. The meal was around P1,600 but I was really satisfied. Still, really expensive.

I went to TGI Friday's to join Forkspoon Manila, Eatsplorations and Manila Eat Up to discover the newest dip pairing for the dish. It must be mayonnaise based.

I order Potato Chips paired with Mayonnaise blends with Tomato Ketchup. Actually, for me, nothing beat the classic combination. So good!

Will give 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the foods. It is just that it is pricey. But the overall quality of their food, place and staffs will exceed your expectations.

Their one meal is good for two. Too big servings I guess, so para makatipid, you could buy two meals and you could share.

If you are looking for an American taste then this is the perfect place to be. The serving was big, more than enough for 2 person, i love their ribs with apple sauce - it was sweet, salty, hickory, tender and perfectly grilled. The salad with calamari was also great, citrusy and refreshing. The burger was big, juicy and meaty haha! We love it so much. Although, the pasta was a bit off, it was a bit bland for my taste since the rest of the stuff we ate were well seasoned. They have a superb customer service, they truly deserve the service charge on the bill.

Overall:

There's always something for us here specially when we want comfort food!!!

We tried: Chicken fingers always crispy and not to salty just right for the kids and kids at heart

Cajun Chicken and shrimp pasta, cream based slightly chili but overall taste good

Burger forgot what's it's called but definitely juicy, with crispy onion rings and bacon with great tasting patty and toasted burger bun!

Their fruit juices oh so fresh!

This place never fails to keep us from wanting to try more!

I've always loved American food - though Pinoy portions will never compare, Friday's is one of those restos that have captured the taste and feel I like. If burgers, wings and desserts are your thing, then head on over to Friday's.
I'm giving this particular branch a high score because of the service, particularly our regular servers. We enjoy coming here with our 3-year old son who appreciates the coloring paper and crayons (and balloons) they always provide.
It's a great idea to purchase one of their Bistro cards, it may seem expensive at P2,500 but the vouchers and 20% discount on every purchase more than pays for that initial outlay.
My faves are their Boneless Buffalo Bites (wings without the stress of deboning!), Caesar Salad, Chicken Fingers, Friday's Three for All (appetizer platter), Mocha Mudpie and Strawberry Iced Tea.

Ah Good ol' Fridays. I just keep coming back for their Calypso Calamari Salad, it is extremely delicious. I can't forget their 3 meat platter which is so tender and juicy ,cooked near to perfection. I also keep coming back for their strawberry banana concoction! For everyone who hasn't tried Tgifriday's: GO AND TRY IT! Great food, fast service and affordable price.

Their baby back ribs is flavorful and the half rack is good for 2-3 people. I'm just not a fan of this branch only because it already looks old and worn out despite it being one of the newer establishments in Eastwood.

I live near the area, so just about any time I crave Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta, or just need to get away for a couple of hours (3 Pokestops nearby), this is my spot.

As always, ordered my favourite TGI Friday's dishes. Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta, Fish and Chips, Chicken Fingers, and my newest favourite meal - The Filipino Pork Liempo. Two huge pieces of pork belly grilled to perfection, served with garlic rice, ensalada (side salad), and vinegar sauce. For Php385 (Lunch), you really get a lot of bang for your buck.

This location is kept pretty clean, so unless you're here at peak weekend hours or during a game (this is a location that pulls in a good crowd for sporting events) cleanliness should not be an issue.

Oh, when in TGI Friday's, you MUST MUST GET their Oreo Madness. Make sure you get two pieces, because one surely isn't enough because it's THAT delicious. Not too sweet, and the perfect dessert that will end meal on a high note.

Guyyyys! Eastwood mall is a haven of restaurants I must say. Not just because they have A LOT of selections to try but because they close late at night! Their food stalls and restaurants close later than the usual mall hours. WHICH IS PERFECT! Just like what happened to us recently, we stayed at Richmonde Hotel which is just across the Eastwood mall. We woke up around 11pm which made us really crave for food. We wanted to try Red Crab for our late dinner but they close at midnight so hindi na daw pwede.. Good thing there’s TGI Friday’s that is packed with people eating America’s best comfort food and drinking some booze.

I honestly sometimes think that dining in a fancy restaurant would always end up breaking the bank. Alam na ni Bri yan usually sasabihin ko siya nalang pumili ng kakainin ko. Aside from the fact na there are a lot of dishes to try and minsan nahihiya ako kasi pricey pa! heehee So I always look for the cheaper ones on the menu haha So I got surprised to see that TGI Friday’s offer set meals ranging from 495php to 795php langs! *wink wink* It’s under their Jack Daniel’s Grill dishes.

So here’s what we ordered:
Jack Daniel’s Steak - 1645php
Jack Daniel’s Chicken and Shrimp - 595php
I forgot how the B’s steak tasted but for sure it was good. I’ll just talk more about what I got. My order was loaded with crunchy and big ass Shrimps and the 2 Chicken breast were definitely more than enough (even for my growling tummy that night!) Of course the Jack Daniel’s sauce was the perfect combination to dip in my viand! The rice pilaf was a good match as well!

Coding on Mondays gave me an opportunity to date my wife in Eastwood, and for most of the time, we do not really know where to eat. Since we have a Bistro card, it is often a good idea to eat at Fridays because of the 30% discount it gives. Aside from that, Fridays has been a go to place for great American comfort foods.
For PokemonGo trainers, it is a great place to catch some pokemons because there are about 3 pokestops that has lures.

What made me really come back for is the food. Been here for two straight Mondays already. The first time, we tried Jack Daniels appetizer sampler and a pasta. The second time we had their Ballpark Nachos and Grilled Chicken. Their ballpark nachos will always be my favorite because it is loaded with toppings until the last bite. Most of the restaurants serving nachos only have "toppings", but when you reach the bottom of the plate, it will just be plain nachos. The grilled chicken is very tender and flavorful, as if like I can eat them all day. The rice paired well. The appetizer sampler has great pulled pork quesadilla, barbecue chicken bites, and shrimp popcorn. The chicken is quite salty.

Fridays is a cool place to eat and hang out.

I've been here for the despedida of my boyfriend. He treated us since he is going onboard. I love the ambience of the restaurant. The food are also great. We ordered the T.G.I.F sample platter, Ceasar salad, French onion soup and fried calamari. I was surprised because the serving was too big. The serving is good for 3-4 person. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the ambiance was perfect. Eventhough the price was Expensive it was worth the money. I'll definitely go back here. ☺

Tgifridays is our usual go to place to indulge and relax as it is one of my husband's favorite casual dining resto. This was our first time in their libis branch. The place was very welcoming and the staffs were very attentive.

As for the food we tried something new from our usual order. We tried their Jack Daniel's platter and Italian Sausage penne pasta.

For the platter, what good about the dish, you taste hint of Jack Daniel's in their shrimp and sauce coating the chicken that brought a different kind of sweetness and depth to the flavor. I just find the coating of chicken nuggets a bit too sweet for my liking. As for the beef and cheese quesadillas, they were really flavorful - beefy and cheesy at the same time.

The italian sausage in the pasta was herby and peppery at the same time which is good. And they were generous with the amount they put in the pasta. The pasta itself was al dente and creamy because of the sauce.

The great part of our dinner was it cost us only around Php700 because of bistro card's 30% on mondays plus additional Php 250 discount from its coupon that comes with the card. :)

It has been almost two years in the making but finally—I’m getting married! Not. My friends and I have been planning to have an overnight get together for years now as the last time we did that was when we graduated a few years back. We decided to stay at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel but had no plans to dine there for dinner as we were still on a non-executive salary. *gloom*

It was almost 9 p.m. and most of us came from work or elsewhere without food in our tummies except for K. Just like a group of tweens, we waited for everyone before deciding where to have dinner.

After putting our bags inside our “unlocked” room (scary!), we decided to have dinner at T.G.I. Friday’s. The place was quite packed so the server who served us suggested that we go al fresco dining but we hesitated as 1) none of my friends smoke; 2) it was hot that day. We then requested for the corner table available at the second floor.

Starved, we quickly ordered something. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta and Strawberry Lemonade Slush. B ordered Chicken Club Sandwich, while N settled for Jack Daniel’s Burger. K, M, and L were still full so they just ordered Oreo Madness. I still remember how hyper our server, Rentin, was. It was his second day if I remember it correctly and he even apologized about sweating too much as he was just eager to serve us. (Funny fellow.)

They quickly served my drink and it was delightful! Sweet yet still refreshing!

I wasn’t able to notice if the service was fast or not since I was too busy looking for ways to get hold of N’s missing phone that night. But I think it was fast enough as I was not yet grumpy when my food was served.

The serving of the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta seemed to be small given the price. Taste-wise, it wasn’t very special too. True, I enjoyed the slightly spicy creamy Alfredo sauce and the bits of chicken and shrimp but it wasn’t enough to make me crave for more of it.

I actually enjoyed B’s sandwich more. It was pretty tasty and rather filling. I love how the different fillings—ham, chargrilled chicken, cheese, and bacon created different textures that went well with each other. One thing I didn’t like about it was that it was a bit messy to eat (since it was really thick!).

I wasn’t able to taste N’s burger but based on how fast he finished his meal, I bet that it was good. Burger, bacon, and cheese what could go wrong?

Now for the dessert I have been eying since it reached our table… OREO MADNESS. *droooool*

It was giant Oreo cookies with vanilla ice cream in between drizzled with chocolate and caramel syrup! Yum yum yum!!! I hesitated to eat one whole cookie as it was for sharing but I’d definitely order one order (of two pieces) just for me next time.

It was one fun (and a bit stressful) night. We had laughs and hyper Rentin was the highlight of the dinner. It took them quite a while though to bring out my free dessert (as it was my birth… month. But before you react, it was really just a week off so…). Oh, and their happy birthday song was different too. I don’t remember though what the song was. >.<

Thanks, friends for making this night a memorable one!

From the moment you walk into Friday's, you will notice the contagious environment. From the fun-loving patrons to the lively and always-smiling staff, you can't help but completely enjoy the atmosphere at this family-friendly all-American restaurant.

TGIF's dishes includes Jack Daniel’s Grill, Mexican fajitas, salads, giant sandwiches, hamburgers, pasta, seafood and other American dishes. A wide array of beverages, non-alcoholic smoothies, flings, iced drinks, and 300 kinds of cocktails. My ultimate go-to place for burgers (before) which has been chargrilled and has a delicious, smoky flavour, like a proper burger should be. The bacon was perfectly cooked – crispy, not cremated – and it tasted even better with the cheese melted onto it.

Dining at T.G.I. Friday's brings back a lot of memories that I've shared with my friends and family. I can't keep count of the number of times I've celebrated someone's birthday here, and there were some years where I had my birthday bash in here as well. Commitment to customer service is what keeps me going back. Good job!

Me and a friend ate here for dinner because I am craving for chicken.

So I will first rate the ambiance, I can say that the restaurant is very clean and well-maintained even if there are a lot of people inside. What I love about TGIF Eastwood (this is my first TGIF experience so I am not sure with their other branches) is that they have a separate place for those who drink beers, they have a mini bar and they have a television for the football fans and basketball fans. TGIF's lighting is really meant for the night-life feels.

Second, the service. I was disappointed. Because the service isn't fast. (Except the food) whenever I will ask for water of iced tea, it will take me for a while. And our bill. Haaaaaaaay. It took us 30minutes to receive our bill. Not great at all.

Third, the food. I ordered Grilled BBQ Chicken with Rice Pilaf and my friend ordered TexMex Mac and Cheese. His food was okay according to him. However, as I try it, the Penne is firm but too much which makes me say it doesn't match with the sauce. Now, with the chicken, its good however, the size of the chicken is not worth of my money. Also, the rice pilaf is not as good as my normal rice pilaf. It feels like I pay for the company and not for the foodie experience.

One can never go wrong with Friday's! Just like Chili's, this place serves awesome American comfort food! Everything - from their appetizers, to their entree, down to their desserts, ever since I was still a young kid, I have already been having an extreme food love-affair with Friday's!

For starters, try their tostada nachos - its loaded with ground beef and melted cheese (served with salsa and sour cream, topped with spicy jalapeños). If you're with your family or friends, try their 'three for all' appetizer platter. Oh, and their chipotle yucatan chicken salad too!

For steak, order their new york strip (medium-well). I like mine with wild mushroom butter sauce better than the burgundy wine. My brother's fave would be the cheeseburger sliders - char-grilled beef patties topped with onions and american cheese. Order their quesadillas for sharing, one of my faves too. This place have an extensive menu to choose from so feast your eyes and prepare to be filled. You'll never come out hungry and unsatisfied!

Dine at Friday's anytime of the week, be it a Monday or a Tuesday, a Wednesday or a Thursday -- not just on a Friday! Consistent comfort food, from then till now!

Went here for beer and appetizers on a rainy Monday evening. Came out quite satisfied. I find it gratifying that some restaurant chains can keep their quality consistently high over so many years. TGI Fridays is one of them.

We had the Three For All appetizer platter consisting of Loaded Potato Skins, baked mozzarella and buffalo wings. These appetizers were well made and their taste was greatly enhanced by the dips that came with them including the excellent blue cheese one.

Most of us look forward to Friday. It’s the end of a busy week and, at the same time, the start of a well-deserved weekend for all those who hustle and bustle at school or at work. It’s the ultimate day for relaxation and enjoyment. But, guess what, we don’t really need to wait for Friday just to have fun. With T.G.I. Friday’s infectious energy and with their excellent food and customer service, everyone would feel like it’s Friday every single day of the week!

After more than 15 years since setting up their first in 1994, T.G.I. Friday’s opens a new branch in Eastwood City, Libis. This is their 13th and now considered as their new flagship branch since it’s the location where the brand has decided to implement major changes in architectural and interior design. It is the first free-standing Friday’s branch. All of the other branches, as we all have known, are located in major shopping malls around the Metro.

From outside, the facade looks bright and very inviting. They have replaced the old canopies and awnings with movie theater-like sheds, giving the place a more modern feel. Almost everyone who comes to Friday’s has their own camera, and surely they wouldn’t be able to resist having their pictures taken with these life-size models of Superman; the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley; and the iconic, Marilyn Monroe.

Friday’s is known for having an “artistic clutter” of memorabilia from decades as early as the ‘30s. Now they have decided to move forward in time by including pieces from later decades like the ‘80s, ‘90s, and even from the new millennium.

Everyone who enters the Eastwood branch of Friday’s would definitely take notice that the lights here are brighter compared to the dimmer lighting of their other branches. I’m totally loving the brighter atmosphere that they have here because I always eat with my eyes first, so it’s a must that I get to see and appreciate how my food is presented. And also on a personal note, the dimly lit stores always made me feel that Friday’s looked more like a sports bar than a restaurant. So, I guess, for me, this a better set up compared to what they had before.

Friday’s Eastwood is the only multi-level store with a seating capacity of more than 300. Both the first and second floors each have their own bar and this is where all the bartending and flaring magic happens. On the second level of the restaurant, they have a veranda that is very suitable for those who would like to smoke. This is where the upstairs bar is located. It’s smaller compared to the one they have on the first floor, but who needs a big bar when you have a perfect view of Eastwood City Walk outside?

Now on to their menu. Like most of restaurants handled by Bistro Group of Restaurant Concepts, T.G.I. Friday’s have an excellent menu. It’s well-organized and easy to understand. The photos of the dishes are mouth-watering, and what you see in print is what you’ll see on your plate.

Below are T.G.I. Friday’s bestsellers. They are the food we have grown to love. Some dishes made quite an impression to me that I felt compelled to make them at home myself. Let’s begin.

An excellent way to start a meal is with a plate of Friday’s Caesar Salad – crisp Romaine lettuce smothered with creamy Caesar dressing and topped with grated parmesan cheese and crunchy croutons. It’s a very classic salad preparation that never fails to satisfy anyone’s appetite.

My personal favorite, the Friday’s Ball Park Nachos, is quite popular among the diners. It’s a generous serving of tortilla chips covered in cheese sauce, topped with picadillo meat, pico de gallo, and with salsa on the side. I was quite surprised that it was still as good as it was when I first had it a few years ago.

Another best-seller is Friday’s Chicken Fingers, which are hand-battered chicken tenders, golden fries and served with Friday’s fries, and your choice of barbecue sauce or honey mustard dressing for dipping. The chicken fingers were nicely cooked. The meat was moist and quite flavorful. And I had a hard time deciding which of the two dips was better since both complemented the chicken fingers quite well.

I’m a huge fan of shrimps, so I really enjoyed munching on Friday’s interpretation of my favorite crustacean. The shrimps were fried until very crispy and placed on top of seasoned fries with your choice of cocktail or tartar sauce for dips. I would love to have this together with a tall glass of ice-cold beer. ^_^

This is the very dish that inspired me to make my homemade buffalo wings recipe, so I was very excited to see how differently Friday’s Buffalo Wingstasted compared to my own version. They were different, of course, since Friday’s wings were done traditionally, while mine was adjusted to fit my personal taste.

This dish is a match made in heaven. It’s a trio of Friday’s most famous appetizers: loaded potato skins, fried mozzarella, and spicy Buffalo wings, together with sour cream and green onions, marinara sauce, and celery sticks with my favorite Bleu cheese dressing.

Friday’s Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pastawas divine. It’s a Tex-Mex interpretation of pasta. Fettuccine pasta ribbons are coated with creamy spicy Alfredo sauce, topped with chicken and shrimp, sautéed with red bell peppers in their special Cajun butter, and finished with parmesan cheese.

Friday’s is all about American food, and when you say American food, burgers always come to mind. Friday’s Bacon Cheeseburgeris grilled all-beef patty covered with melted American cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce and tomatoes, together with some fries.

Can’t finish a whole serving of Bacon Cheeseburger alone? Well this one perfect for you. Friday’s Burger Slider is char-grilled all beef patty served on a bed of fresh chilled lettuce, slice of tomato and topped with caramelized onions.

If you’ll be coming to Friday’s, be sure to order their Sizzlin’ Combo Fajitas. It’s delicious and it’s presented with quite a flair. A server would come with a sizzling plate of beef and chicken sautéed in onions. He’ll pour some alcohol into the dish and get it fired up with a lighter. It’s entertaining, really, and delicious, too.

Let’s move on to my favorite part of our dinner – the dessert. Their Mocha Mud Pieis made of rich chocolate-almond mousse and coffee ice cream frozen in a chocolate crumb crust, topped with hot fudge and toasted almond slices. What I really like about this dessert is that it’s not overly sweet. It’s a cold treat and it combines the best flavors on Earth – chocolate and coffee. Yum!

A dessert of contrasting warm and cold, the Brown Obsessionconsists of warm brownie covered in dark and rich chocolate-fudge sauce, vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate crumbled, topped with caramel sauce and pecans. There’s no questioning why this dessert has become a bestseller. It’s taste and feel in your mouth is unforgettable and addicting!

What’s one reason to come to Friday’s during peak hours? There’s a big chance you might get to witness their crew perform a dance routine to entertain you guys! They were really fun to watch and their energy is so contagious that I almost got up from my seat and did the dougie dance with them. Haha :D T.G.I. Friday's Wall - CertifiedFoodies.com T.G.I. Friday’s would always remain as one of my top favorite restaurants in the Metro. They offer a complete dining experience that you could never find anywhere else. And with all the small yet significant changes they are now implementing in all their branches, it’s not crazy to expect that more and more customers will come to have a great Friday even on a boring weekday like today.

Regardless of any day, TGIF brings the comfort of what any restaurant still tries to achieve...the feeling that it's a FRIDAY and the WEEKEND!

I remember this Eastwood branch to have been the old pirate restaurant a few years back, it's great to know how the Bistro group has really expanded to new territories around the metropolis. Our family had the experience of dining here last Saturday, for my younger brother's College graduation dinner. At around 7pm, despite the dining peak, we were seated quite fast.

The Friday Experience (+):
- TGIF's interiors never fail to impress considering it's pop culture-centric vibe. I'm particularly digging their Clinton, Bush & Nixon bobbleheads. That's America for you. :))
- service has always been an advantage for Bistro restaurants. They value this to the bone and our server delivered this perfectly. Accommodating, friendly, and approaching us with a sincere smile. Can't go wrong with that.
- Menu. Since my younger days, I've always been interested with the colorful, ever-changing menu of TGiF. It's always fresh and hip, and for lack of a better term, "klepto-worthy."
- Food & Drinks. Obviously, you go here to dine and grab a few drinks. Considering we were 5, the pictures below would show the pleasure we had in ordering a bunch of items. This is also thanks to having a Bistro Card and availing of their 40% discount if our bill reached 3k. Price-wise, it was worthy for the group, almost like spending 500/person. I wouldn't want to go in detail with what we ordered but I'll let these pictures visually take you through our gastronomical journey.

The Monday Start (-):
- the aircon can be quite inconsistent in certain tables in the place. From where we were seated, though there was an AC exhaust 2meters from us, it felt warm and humid. Regardless of the number of people dining at a time, TGIF should be able to manage the temperature of their place.
- I ordered their bacon mozzarella cheese burger. It was priced at 550 for having a gooey fried mozzarella crust with bacon and the usual veggie condiments plus your big 1/3 patty. All I can say is that their patty could have had more flavor. I got mine at medium rare expecting juiciness to flow, but it tastes quite dry.

CHEERS TO THE WEEKEND:
Overall, regardless of branch, you can't say no to a hearty dinner at TGIF. May it be to grab a few drinks, watch the game, or fulfill your appetite, they will deliver to how they've always been the past years. Something worth being grateful for.

Cheers!

My family has been Friday's fans as I was growing up, way back when they had a branch in the Brick Road near Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall. But for a better review, we decided to eat here again, this time in Eastwood, since their Sta. Lucia branched closed a few years back. All I can say is WOW because their Eastwood branch was just so awesome! It's very beautifully decorated and can fit a lot of people (true enough they are packed, on weekends!). There was their classic red and white striped paper cups, lamps (and I remember they used to have table cloths of this design too!) I have tried their Pacific Grilled Porkchops, Grilled Chicken Alfredo Pasta, Fish and Chips and Ballpark Nachos previously.

For starters we got the Chipotle Yucatan Chicken Salad, which had a very well seasoned, grilled chicken on top of lettuce, tomato, onions and some tortillas for that extra crunch. We were actually supposed to order the Shanghai Chicken Salad but the servers said that this was better. I also love the humor of their staff! One in particular, Jar, said "Fresh from the Gardens of Libis" when he served this to us.

We also ordered a Jack Daniel's Ribs and Shrimp Full Rack, Chicken and Beef Fajitas and Tex Mex Mac and Cheese.

The Tex Mex Mac and Cheese was a bit spicy and there was no option to remove the spice since the beef was already seasoned with it, but it wasn't as spicy as we thought! In fact it was good. It had pasta, beef, tomatoes, cheese sauce and bits of nacho chips which matched well, imagine a pasta version of nachos.

The Fajitas came with a sizzling plate of beef and chicken, tossed with onions and bell peppers, five wraps and a plate of seasoned tomatoes, grated cheese, lettuce and white cream sauce. It's good that the wraps are kept warm in their black round container. The toppings were more than enough for the wraps.

The Full Slab  Jack Daniel's Baby Back Ribs came with breaded shrimp, a small serving of coleslaw and fries. The shrimp was okay, I think it would have been better if served with sauce. The ribs I totally loved! For classic American ribs you better go for this!

For drinks I personally ordered a smoothie I had been ordering ever since I was young, the Gold Medalist which contained strawberries and bananas blended together with into a delicious fruit shake. Others with me ordered Iced Tea and an Oreo Milk Shake. The oreo milk shake was also super good and I'm definitely ordering it the next time!

Finally for dessert we got the Brownie Obsession topped with vanilla ice cream, nuts and caramel syrup. The brownie was soft and moist but it would have been better served warm. This one was just okay for me, nothing special, and not something I'd order again when I come back, I would probably try the other desserts instead.

Still, a wonderful, wonderful experience at Friday's everytime! The only downside is the price. The staff was so nice, the food was good and I just loved it overall. Good vibes! Truly, they live by their saying, "In here, it's always a Friday."

Had a great time during my visit here. The waitress who served us was very helpful and always catering to our groups' needs. Price wise, it was a bit on the pricey side, and the portions were a bit small too. But the food did taste really good. If they would have given more, or at least given what our money was worth, I would have given them a perfect 5.0. What REALLY made me happy was going to their restroom that already had TOILET PAPER and a TOILET SEAT. It may seem like a small thing to anyone reading this and that are from here, but having been born and raised in Hawaii, USA, it's rare. They are so very rare here in public restrooms here in the Philippines! And like a kid in a candy store, I was HAPPY!!! =)))

T.G.I.Friday's is a name that we have loved through the years as a place where everyday is a Friday. They opened a brand new, multi-level store in Eastwood. The flagship store can seat upto a maximum of 250 people and is the only free standing store in the county. It boasts the new contemporary casual look that was rolled out by T.G.I.Friday's in the USA showcasing an updated look that is more airy and inviting but still with the Americana look it is known for. The more things change, the more things stay the same like the good food and great service. I actually still remember going to the very first store beside the defunct Streetlife in Glorietta 4 way back when. (I guess this betrays how old I am)

Buffalo Wings - I skipped this one after hearing comments about its spiciness. I did get a piece of celery and dipped it into the the blue cheese dressing on the side. The celery stick was thick and crunchy.

Ballpark Nachos - A big plate of nachos smothered with cheese, salsa, pico de gallo and minced meat. The chips were crunchy although we found the cheese a bit lacking and asked to add some more.

Three For All - A dish for those who can't make up their minds, composed of Friday's most famous appetizers, buffalo wings, fried mozzarella and Loaded Potato skins. There's something for everyone here but I personally like the mozzarella and loaded potato skins, brings back lots of old memories.

Bacon Cheeseburger - A whopper of a burger that should be a challenge for most people to finish, good thing we were sharing this. I felt the bacon could be crispier, but the beef patty really tasted meaty with no hint of extenders. The fries were seasoned as you can see from the pic, which contributed to its quick demise.

Spicy New Orleans - This is a dish I've never had at Friday's before. The dish was forgettable, the only thing I remembered was that it was a bit spicy.

Chicken Fingers - A dish for kids and adults alike, one of the dishes Lauren like at Friday's together with the mini burgers. I liked dipping the chicken into the honey mustard dressing and of course there was more yummy seasoned fries on the side.

Sizzlin' Combo Fajita - A mix of chicken breasts and steak on a bed of onions and peppers, served with flour tortillas on the side. I had a bit of difficulty assembling the ingredients on the tortilla but finally got it down using the Peking duck technique.
On to dessert, I don't usually have room anymore after the huge servings at Friday's but the beauty of eating with a group is the ability to just sample to be able to taste more dishes.

Brownie Obsession - A large, and I mean large piece of warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel syrup, choco fudge and pecans. This dessert was good but I only managed a small piece.

Mocha Mud Pie - Not too nice of a name for a wonderful dessert, I just love my ice cream, this time its coffee sandwiched between a chocolate crumb crust and frozen choco-almond mousse. I avoided getting the choco fudge and just scooped a little of the ice cream and mousse combo.

The new look is much brighter, eschewing the old dark brown pub look for the more clean white walls and brighter red seating. There are still memorabilia all along the establishment but they have been updated a few decades. On thing you won't miss when you look up is the scull hung up on the wall, of course in red and white color way. Another interesting wall decor is this pic above, containing many different toys. Notice the empty frames, it seems some customers have appropriated some of the toys up on displays, maybe they should secure it more firmly to the wall or else they will find it expensive to keep replacing them.
