I have been in constant search for really good Chocolate cakes in Metro Manila. I have to say that this one hits the spot. It is one of the great tasting Chocolate cakes that I will go back to when I feel the crave.

I have tried the Almond Sans Rival and Banana Macadamia Caramel Cakes.
The verdict: Both cake were divine.
Almond Sans Rival - this was beyond compare having grown up with the taste of Goldilock's Sans Rival. The almond slivers remained crunchy showing the freshness of the ingredients used. Though it was sweeter than my palate expected, this one is an absolute match with a cup of medium roast coffee.
Banana Macadamia Caramel Cake - who says you cannot elevate banana cake to the next level? Their take on this was quite sophisticated. Macadamia nuts as we all know are among the more premium nuts as ingredients compared to walnuts. The moist cake with the munch of Macadamia topped with dark caramel makes this dessert as one very decadent. Again, this is best paired with a medium roast coffee that will complement the sweetness of the caramel.
There are more to try, but I have to burn more calories!
Highly recommend their red velvet cake, chocolate yema cake and macadamia sans rival. The cakes are a bit pricey but they're worth it! You can taste that they do not scrimp on their ingredients. Their red velvet is the best I've tasted.
The only negative point is that the available cakes and their hours are a bit unpredictable. I suggest to call first, especially if you are coming from some distance. Also note that they only accept cash, no credit cards. This can sometimes be a bit challenging since their whole cakes often are priced P1k and up.
Its a one stop cake shop, nice cozy place to relax after a long hour drive..the macamdamia cake and caramel frappe? Yummy try it!:) location is just across the sinigang express, try their other sweets too, one slice of cake is worth 170php,frappe is around 175php quite pricey but worth the taste.:)

I was craving for good cake this day so my boyfriend suggested we have a quiet date in Cake Planet. We were glad to see no other customers when we arrived since we wanted the place to ourselves so we could talk freely. The place is small with only around 4-5 tables. We already knew we wanted the Yema Cake so we ordered that and while we were deciding on our other order, one of the staff brought out their other bestselling cake from the freezer. I forgot its name but it was basically their version of Conti's Mango Bravo. It looked really promising so we decided to order that too. I also ordered a cup of hot mocha to partner the cakes with.
The Yema Cake was delicious as usual. It's best shared though (unless you're really really craving badly for a chocolate cake all for yourself) because its chocolate icing is thick & rich, and the yema makes it even sweeter. I really love it though because the cake itself is very moist & it's obvious that the ingredients for the cake are all high quality.
The mango cake was also great! I'm so glad we chose it because it ended up being the perfect contrast to the Yema Cake's richness. The mangoes were sweet & just like Conti's Mango Bravo, the different layers of the cake were all good.
My mocha was very soothing & I'm happy they served it with cinnamon on top. 😋
The servers were all really nice as well & very quick whenever we made a request.
This is definitely the best place in Betterliving to go to when you want great quality cake! It's a sweet tooth's dream ☺️ hehe

I do think that the best bakes along the Dona Soledad strip are out of this world. They're on a planet called cake!
Let me boldly say that they prolly have one of the most indulgent & rich Chocolate cakes ever made. Thick bittersweet mousse on top of ultra moist chiffon with rich caramel leaking out in between those massive layers all for P220/slice
The Red Velvet (P220) is wicked made in heaven! Layers are crazy supple, cream sliding down the slopes & literally melts in the mouth! This ain't your regular RV fix, this is across the board classy... Comparable to an Italian bake
The Santa Cruz cake is the clincher! and it's not because I share the same surname w/ the owner or the cake, it's just plainly formidable! Generous chocolate mousse layers chorused w/ lemon cream & more choco pipings. Another notable is their Choco Macadamia Sansrival - buttery choco w/ meringue & lumps of macadamias just hits the spot!
This house of glorious bakes serve humungously massive portions & slices enough to fill 2 sweeties. Their re designed interiors brought that spunk & funky atmosphere atop their classy concept, artistic walls, rustic seats & European inspired centerpieces. The facelift did them really well. Staff are quite engaging & proactive, water served in an instant w/o having to ask.
Now serving that sugar crave is just a planet away...w/o the rocket!

The red velvet cake that we ordered is so big for a 200 peso slice. The size and taste is super worth the price. well actually im expecting a bit more costy. but nonetheless, everything is so good.
Im gonna go back and taste the yema cake next. yum!
For 2 years in a row I've been ordering birthday cakes here. They sell great cakes that are so moist and rich. The cake designs are so simple yet elegant. The red velvet is my favorite as of the moment. The store looks simple but not cheap, their service is ok but nothing too great. The cakes are a bit pricey, but reasonable once you've taste it.
Cozy and quiet interiors for a good read. Their bestseller is the Macadamia Sans Rival. I personally find it very rich-tasting. I'd go for a heavenly slice of the Red Velvet Cake for a classic comfort food. Serving is big and can be shared by 2. Try their pastas and coffee too!
The place looks nice and all, but I didn't expect much from a newly established restaurant, and as most people merely order cakes from them and rarely have customers dining in their food. But we and my friends had a great service experience from the restaurant, plus they exceeded our expectations from their menu. Besides their bestselling cakes, I gave their pastas and cappucino a shot and I didn't regret — they all tasted magnifico. More power to this shop!
from the pics posted here in zomato they have renovated the place, which looks more cozy and cafe look.
we ordered the le concorde cake - very good, not too sweet and my first to try a diff texture in cakes.
other orders were latte and 3 cheese sandwich for this maybe pricy for the portion
