It’s been a very tiring day for me so after work i look for a place to eat. i was so surprised how the food and service is really great in this resto ;) this is my first time and i will definitely come back again. oh btw thanks for sir mario who assist me in choosing what to eat. so happy to eat here ;) see you soonest.#almonmarina
If you are looking for a place to eat in Greenbelt, this will definetely be among your top choices. Almon Marina's food is simple but really delicious. Their roasted chicken , beef kebab , mushroom english pie and hausmacher sausage are highly recommended. Prices are affordable and service is swift.
We ordered their plated set meals and was happy with their service.
The verdict: i knew that this is a good place for sandwiches but for our dinner, we grabbed their Pastalicious Combination that has everything on it.
The food: On my plate i had salad, pasta (of my choice: puttanesca, alfredo, bolognese sauce) sausage and garlic bread. I think the food was okay. Especially the sausage. The pasta is a bit dry though.
The price: value for money! I only paid Php 190+ for my meal. 👍 menu prices ranges from 150-400 per head.
The service: waiters are attentive and kind to us. Plus they have free wifi. Less crowd and quiet place to stay in.

One of the most overlooked yet very reliable in terms of consistency in taste & freshness of food is Almon Marina. This brand has been around since 1990, and for a semi vegetarian like me, it has one of the best value for money & extensive menus in Manila.
In particular, Almon Marina's Greenbelt branch is my absolute favorite because of the following:
1. Location - it is far away from the busyness of the rest of Greenbelt, and commands a pretty good view of the street;
2. Warm staff & supervisors - they are well-versed with the menu, and are attentive to their clients' needs (I've experienced this every time I visit); and
3. Layout of interiors - there are so many corners so I find this place very conducive if you want to catch up with a friend or two over yummy food.
The following were my orders during a recent visit:
* CHICKEN & CURRY SALAD
This salad, for one, is definitely not a staple choice (e.g. Caesar, Garden, Greek) in other restaurants. It has celery, tomatoes, raisins, roasted & unsalted peanuts, diced chicken breast, and the thick, weebit oily & incredibly yummy curry sauce that borders more on Indian (neither Japan nor East Asian) influence. Hence, my love for spicy food was satisfied with this. I'm also unable to count the number of times I've had this over the years but the latest order was shared with my friend. And yes, she enjoyed it, too!
* SOUR CREAM & CHICKEN SANDWICH
It may look uncomplicated but the medley of flavors you'll get in one bite is amazing! This sandwich is made up of chicken breast chunks, sour cream, fresh lettuce & tomato, and herbs & spices, all found between two slices of buttered rye bread. The crunchy potato chips on the side were made fresh, too!
* BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE
I liked how the actual cheesecake mix wasn't sweet at all. In fact, only the crust had a lingering sweetness. Also, the blueberry topping's serving was really generous!
* SPANISH CHOCOLATE
Bitter. Thick. And really cheap at P55!💃My friend & I each got an order, and she had to grandly stop & grab my arm after the first sip. She didn't expect it to be that good!! Truly, all meals should end with chocolate. 👍
Almon Marina serves deli, sandwiches, pasta and grilled items. They say it's best to try the combination of sandwich and soup here, but since it's lunch and I'm starving I opted to get Roasted Chicken meal with 2 siddings which includes flavored rice, veggies and mashed potatoes. The chicken and its sauce is good. The rice has color but I was surprised it didn't have much taste.
The outlet is quite small but it's quiet enough to enjoy a hearty meal and conversation a friend or loved one. You order and pay at the counter, and the meals are brought to your table. The crew are attentive and accommodating.
I'll definitely go back to try their famous sandwich-soup combi. The pasta looks interesting, too
It stood the test of time and Almon Marina is still one of the best the city has to offer in terms of comfort food. Their soup of the day and sandwich combinations would always be my comfort meal that would always make a bad day better. Their kebabs, roast chicken, and their creamy lasagna are also good options for a really good meal.
