This place rocks! They have Bulletproof coffee and it's superb. Great breakfast and nice teas also. Small bottles of wine available too if you just want a couple glasses. Larger avail also of course.

I love UCC and they have been in the Philippines for quite some time serving sumptuous Japanese dishes paired with their great tasting coffee. And now, UCC is joining the third wave coffee scene by launching UCC Clockwork. They boast here their in-house roasting machines with a variety of local and international single origin coffee.
The place is so quiet and it seems private. Staff were accommodating. We got to try a healthylicious breakfast here at UCC because UCC used Quorn products on two of their breakfast meals. FYI: Quorn provides meat-free options which are not just high in protein, but also high in fiber. UCC Clockwork offers vegetarian breakfast using Quorn products. We got to try the Vegetarian Hamburg Omelette and Vegetarian Sausage Breakfast. As for the taste, The Sausage gives more flavor that the Hamburg to the point that you'll notice it's meatless though I like how they complemented red sauce to the omelette which makes it flavorful overall.
What could be better than Quorn breakfast meals in the morning?
It's healthy, hefty and meat free here at UCC.
These are the Vegetarian Friendly and Protein Source Brekky they serve using Quorn™
Vegetarian Sausage Breakfast Php328
With mycoprorotein Sausage, Eggs and Potato Hash that's good for kids too!
Vegetarian Hamburg Omelet Php398
Veggie Omelet, Burger Patty and Marinara sauce which goes well together.
Better to pair them with UCC's brewed Coffee.
I was too naive about meat alternatives and I only got to know about this great brand, Quorn just recently. Since I grew up knowing that Soy is the only substitute but it's neither healthy nor applicable for everyone hence making it difficult to commit to being a vegetarian without jeopardizing the right nutrition you need for your body. Thankfully to Zomato team, we were able to sample some of Quorn's products at restaurants that utilizes their meat substitutes.
At UCC, they have two food items that uses Quorn.
1. Vegetarian Sausage Breakfast (₱328) - comes with 2 eggs and roasted potatoes. Definitely a complete package. Though some of us noticed that the sausages were a little bit dry, I find it just right texture but it imitates the Sausage flavor and spice and you wouldn't recognize that it wasn't meat.
2. Vegetarian Hamburg Omelet (₱398) - comes with vegetable omelet topped with Quorn Burger patty and Marinara sauce. The burger patty looks like real meat patty and tastes even good. It doesn't look like it can achieve that tender and juicy beef we are looking for but thanks to the sauce and the veggies it comes alive. Pricey on the side but one serving looks like it can be shared with two people.
Some facts about Quorn is that they use a nutritious protein source from Mycoprotein found in a certain Fungus and not just that, it also is high in fiber which you don't find in meat. Surprisingly, they have been in the UK industry for so long and 3 yrs here in the Philippines which makes them a leading source of meat alternative. Now I am switching to their products especially recommended for the kids in the family who doesn't eat veggies.
Going vegetarian can be difficult, especially if you miss meat. And while other countries offer a ton of meatless options, our country has sparse choices aside from the influx of soy and gluten products that hope to imitate meat. And while these aren't good for those with gluten intolerances or celiac disease, they're all we've got.
Until now.
UK brand Quorn— pronounced like corn, but on a whole other level all together— finally comes to the Philippines! This meat alternative is made with mycoprotein, a fungus that's somewhat related to, but not exactly a mushroom. It's gluten-free, non-GMO, cholesterol-free, and rich in protein and fiber— making it perfect for vegetarians or even flexitarians like me, who are more health-conscious. That's why I commit to a once-a-week meatless diet to cleanse my system.
During our Kapitolyo food crawl hosted by Zomato, we foodies got to visit restaurants that used these awesome Quorn products. First one on the list was UCC Clockwork, which offers two breakfast options to choose from: Vegetarian Sausage Breakfast (₱328) or Vegetarian Hamburg Omelette (₱398). The former, which comes with 2 eggs and roasted potatoes, imitates the German bratwurst with herbs and spices to make the sausage more flavorful. Tasty, but could use some sauce to make the overall dish less dry.
The latter, on the other hand, features an omelette swimming in tangy marinara sauce, topped with a smoky hamburger patty that mimics the likeness of beef, which I miss ever since my no-beef for life stint. And you could guess which one I fell in love with. That's right— the "beef" patty.
This is my very first to dine at a UCC café and tried the Vegetarian Hamburg Omelet and Vegetarian Sausage Breakfast. For starters, I didn't really notice that what I was eating was already Quorn. It very much tasted like meat and I can't believe I just consumed a much healthier breakfast!

The UCC Clockwork in Vantage Gallery in Kapitolyo is the newest branch of the brand. Situated at the second floor, it has a morning view perfect as you take your first cup of coffee of the day with your breakfast meal.
It was a breakfast event for foodies who were given a brief lesson about @Quorn, that meatless alternative (made with Mycoprotein derived from naturally occurring fungus through the process of fermentation) which UCC Clorkwork is currently using for two of its all-day breakfast bestsellers: Vegetarian Sausage Breakfast and Vegetarian Hamburg Omelet.
Personally, I had my hesitation about the product since there has been a long list of “food alternatives” in the past which have slowly gone out of the market. Since I felt that the UCC Clockwork was not going to serve the group anything but dishes made of Quorn, I just shut up. And opened my mind.
And thankfully I did open my mind. The vegetarian sausage and the vegetarian hamburg omelet tasted like genuine meat sausage and meat hamburg. It may look a tad dry but the meat texture was there. I felt full. And the best thing about it, it wasn’t heavy on the tummy. Thus, I didn’t feel lethargic at all.
Eating healthy doesn't mean eating bland. As days go, more and more meat alternative that's fiber and protein rich with lesser cholesterol is now available in the market.
Recently Quorn a brand known as meat alternative partnered to some resto with greener, healthier advocacy to come up with healthier delicious dishes and one of which is UCC Clockworks. Using Quorn products such as hamburger patty and sausage they come up with 2 delicious breakfast dish that surely I'm order over and over again when I came back--
