This isn't my first time to dine here and I must say this place has never let me down. I braved the Friday payday traffic and it was all worth it. Today, I had their Smoked Sausage (sweet pepper) and I paired it with my absolute favorite side of theirs, the Kimchi Rice with sous vide egg. It was an absolute treat to my palette. The smoky flavor of the sausage, together with the spicy, salty kick of the rice makes for such a satisfying meal. The place has a very cozy feel to it, ample parking space, staff are very welcoming and gives great service. One of my favorite restaurants. Ever.

First time to dine with my lovely friends. My husband and I were invited to have dinner here, and their BBQ ribs are their best seller.. sooo tender and even taste soo delicious and very smoky... The sauce will add color to your bbq ribs, depending on how you can tolerate the hotness of their bbqsauce. My fave is the apple Bbq sauce.. Their nachos, will never fail you.. This nachos is an : "all in nachos"...really taste so good..lots of melted cheese and mozarella and jalapeño that sizzle your taste buds plus the shredded ribs on top of your nachos.. Super love it!!

Bbq ribs achieved the proper attributed bark--dark but not burnt Meat was so tender that it could be shed like a meat sleeve off the bone. Rib flavour was so good that any sauce must be treated as an option or a garnish. Finally, sulit sa bulsa.

Just as we have Maginhawa here in the North, Pasig City also has its famed “foodie heaven” called Kapitolyo. I remember when I was still working in Summit, my officemates and I would frequent the area for lunch meetings or chillout dinners. It was still a budding place then but now, restaurants of varied cuisines have filled up its streets and alleys. And if you love your meat, then you would love dining at Pitmaster’s Smokehouse BBQ!

Indeed, the best smoked BBQ Ribs and Briskets in Metro Manila is found here at @pitmastersph I love how it is uniquely smoked to be cooked and at the same time how soft each bite is as if the meat slowly dissolves in my mouth. Another unexpected food here is the pizza, the perfect combination of thick mozzarella and thin crust together with its toppings make each bite totally worth it!

Chicken skin is usually salty but Pitmaster’s does it differently. Their deep-fried Chicken Skin (PhP 145) had a great balance of honey-sweet and garlicky flavor that provides a nice change of pace from the traditional dish you’re familiar with. It excited our appetite and made us look forward to the next entrees with eager anticipation, which is what every good appetizer should do. The chicken skin was punchy and perfect to order on your cheat day. 🙂

Pulled Pork Roll with Kesong Puti (PhP 200) is a definite mainstay on the menu. It’s not lumpiang Shanghai or any ordinary fried spring rolls, though it may look like it, but shredded smoked pork butt tossed in Gochujang, rolled and deep fried. Here you get the best of both worlds: thick, slightly chewy and juicy meat and crunchy bark. It’s a nice pica-pica dish while having smooth conversations over a meal. Kesong puti on the side bounced against the gentle flavor of pork without fear of overwhelming the senses.

Pit Caesar Salad (PhP 240) is classic Caesar salad mixed with smoked bacon strips and homemade anchovy sauce. Here you have salty, smoky, and sweet flavors in a balanced medley. The greens were sparkingly fresh and what elevated the dish even more was the poached egg on top, which wasn’t meant for only decoration, but really as a palatable component. And oh, the smoked bacon gave depth to what might otherwise be just a boring salad.

We saved the best for last. For our main course, we had The Pit Platter (PhP 1500) which consisted of five smoked specialties with regular sides (see list below) and carafe iced tea. It’s good for four people to share! Some food are simply too wonderful to ignore, and this smoked meat platter definitely falls into this category. Visually and flavor-wise, the Pitmaster’s Smoked Ribs and Smoked Corriander Chicken for me were the most tantalizing. All the other meat varieties were done right as well, featuring perfect charred crust in savory and smoky goodness. The sides, especially our favorite Elotes or Mexican-style corn on the cub, also scored A in our book. Yum!

Black Angus Brisket – 15-hour smoked black angus beef brisket

Smoked Bacon Strips – homemade 7-day cured and smoked bacon strips

Smoked Corriander Chicken – chicken leg quarter with honey chili-garlic glaze (mild, hot, magma)

Pit Smoked Sausage – homemade smoked sausages with your choice of either garlic & herb or sweet pepper

This is a place where you can drink and enjoy really good food at the same time. I'd highly recommend their smoked ribs. Very tender and flavorful! Their nachos we're also loaded with just the right amount of meat and relishes. Plus their flavored beers are also worth exploring. Every flavor is good, but I liked the toasted mallows the most. I have to commend their staff for being very attentive and accommodating too. Gonna come back here for sure!

It was almost log-out time and I can’t seem to wait for the time as I am so hungry and needed nourishment already. Luckily, my food buddy is in the area and from BGC, we went to Kapitolyo for late dinner as I have a 50% off from Eatigo from them so we figured it’s worth the quick trip. Take note, I only have 1 hour to spare so while we are on the way, I already ordered our food which they gladly accommodated. Thank you!

I was there for a private event but I was actually pleasantly surprised with a couple of things. The place is quite huge for a Kapitolyo eating place. When I eat around Kapitolyo, I would remember some cramped spaces but this one was an exception. We had some ribs, roast chicken, truffle pasta, etc. I loved the ribs. It was cooked really well, tender and flavourful. Goes well with the apple sauce - my favourite among their sauce options.

Smoked ribs so tasy and delicious! Their sauces (Hazelnut, Apple, East Capitol) are on point to boot! Even their fries (I had the regular and then the Kamote) are good. Love the atmosphere here too.

The ribs was very good but! It was less than P300! I was pleasantly surprised with The size of the ribs. It was tender and well marinated. Like what they say here “its all about the sauce!”, and they will give you three choices. I tried them all! So good!
I wasn’t particularly fond of my burger though. The patty was a little dry and so was the bun. I hope they can change their buns supplier (or have them make it more moist).
This was my second attempt to eat here. They close up earlier than published when there are not much customer traffic late at night. I was almost frustrated but the kind guard let me in and the server was also very polite.
All in all,
Yes, definitely worth the trip and revisiting!

Pitmaster's Smokehouse is pretty much one of the better BBQs in Kapitolyo. I say that because there are now a lot of ribs joint but they definitely did something to at least stand out with what they offer. We ordered the smoked ribs, oyster sisig and nachos. The smoked ribs was definitely the star since it is pretty much good on its own. Although, I found the ribs to be a tad too oily but definitely packs wonderful flavor. There were three selections of sauces (east capitol is the best among the three) and I kind of wished there was more since a more smokey version would make it really shine. Oyster sisig would probably be the unsung hero as it really a good way to start the meal before the ribs arrive. The sisig is not the typical sisig as it has creamy and yet crispy factor in it. Overall, I loved my stay in the restaurant as the service was decent too. Definitely a must try when around the kapitolyo area.

The location of this restaurant is very easy to find.
Parking spaces are limited so be sure to go early! They have comfort rooms separate for both men and women.

The restaurant itself is very spacious! They also have 2 big flat screen TV’s that are perfect for all the sports lovers out there! The decorations are minimal but suitable for the theme that the restaurant is going for.

Overall, the food was freshly cooked and were all served HOT and FAST!

1. The Pit Nachos Solo
DONT BE FOOLED! IT SAYS SOLO BUT IT IS BIG AF! We barely finished our order... but we did because it was the bomb! Their nacho chips were not your usual store-bought nachos. They're very generous with the toppings too! They serve it fast too so you can mungch on it while waiting for your other orders. Goes great with beer!

2. Ribs
Their ribs are the fall-off type.They didn’t even serve the bone in my platter. I have to mention this because some prefer to get messy and bite it off the bone. The meat was really tender and flavorful. I was expecting more smokiness to it but was great nevertheless. You can order it with either fries or rice. I suggest you order rice so you can enjoy the sauce. You can order just order a side of fries. I mean you SHOULD order a side of fries because carbs is life.

3. Beef Brisket
We were a bit hesitant to order the brisket since we read a bad review but we had to try it ourselves and be the judge of it. Contrary to what we read, the brisket wasn’t bland at all. It comes with a small cup of their sauce which goes great with the beef or you could just pour it all over your rice just because. If you do this, your mama raised you right! The beef was soft and easy to pull apart. We could easily remove the fat from it so good news for fat conscious people. It was great but I was hoping for a smokier flavor from it since they said it has been smoked for hours but overall, it was great. Definitely a must try when you go here!

3. Black Angus Cheese Burger
I expected this cheese burger to taste like a real grilled burger but sadly it did not meet that expectation. Despite that, the burger had a lot of meat which tasted okay. If you are looking for a grilled-tasting burger this is not the right burger for you. -K

4. Salted Caramel Beer
When we ordered it, the waiter informed us that it is not included in the Eatigo promo so I assumed their alcoholic beverages are not included too. From the smell of the beer, you could already taste the salted caramel from it. They serve it in a cold mug, no ice, just how I like my beer. It has a nice kick to it but not enough to get you tipsy or anything. It's a bit too sweet for me but its saltiness complements it. The beer is best pairs with their fries! Great combo! Worth the try! An order or two is good but more maybe too much. It tends to be heavy on the stomach since it's sweet. -R

There were more that we wanted to try! Will definitely come back for more!

We ordered the Pits Platter which consist of 5 different kinds of meat. Bacon, angus beef , ribs, sausage, and chicken... My favorite is the ribs. Its so tender and rich in taste!:) we also ordered chicken skin and calamari which a bit dissappointing mainly because of the very small serving and chicken skin with honey sauce doesn't go too well.
Serving is excellent and the place is clean.

I've heard about this place for a good minute and finally had the opportunity to try it out. I ordered the ribs and brisket and shared it with a friend. I gotta say both were good but ribs stood out more because of how soft the meat was and the flavor it had. The brisket was good but I expected a little bit more because there was only a couple of slices with bits added but overall I'd come back when the opportunity presents itself

Reserved a table via eatigo and got 50% off on our bill! Ordered their Pork Ribs good for 2pax (250g) and it comes with 1 choice of sides. Loved the fall of the bone softness of the meat. I just they need to improve on the selection of sauces. Service was good. Would definitely revisit.

Had their ribs delivered through food panda for a birthday. I'm glad i gave thrm a shot. Tasted good even after being delivered; meat just falls off of the bones.

Also ordered their salmon and it was equally as good. However the serving size is just for one person.

Pitmaster's Smokehouse BBQ is one of the many new restaurants in the not-so quiet neighborhood of Kapitolyo. Established in 2016, what started as an ihaw-ihaw concept by Chef Raffy Sunico and Ben Donato, is now now more than ready to make their noise in East Capitol Drive. . With their big parking space that can extend up to the road, you'd surely be drawn to try it out. East Capitol Drive has been on it's busiest since the rise of different restaurants for different kinds of foodies and the main concern would always have to be the parking slot. We were starving the time we visited the area and found that this place had more than enough slots to keep our car safe so decided to give it a try.

We were looking for an affordable place to have late lunch/early dinner in the Kapitolyo area and since I've already eaten at Pitmaster's Smokehouse BBQ during Father's Day 2017, I readily suggested it to my friend who is a meat lover. It was my first time to try the Black Angus Brisket and I must say it's really, really good. It's so tasty and juicy and they even served it with the oil that came from cooking the brisket. It also went well with their garlic fried rice. We also tried the Bacon and Mushroom Burger although the meat was a bit dry, but the fries on the side was a winner. The mashed potato we didn't like too much since we think it was made from scratch and from sweet potatoes. They also have three house sauces: Apple, East Capitol,and Hazelnut. It was the Hazelnut that went best with the Black Angus Brisket.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our monthsary here at Pitmaster's Smokehouse and we really enjoyed the food. Their smoked ribs is worth a try even their nachos (coz it has mozzarella in it). Plus they have a wifi ;)

Located at west capitol drive in pasig a line with plenty of other restaurants. The place was roomy and can seat a lot of people but parking is limit to 3 car slots just enough when we arrived because there were 2 other groups at that time. The menu as a lot to offer. Starters fries, salads. Then mains burger, ribs and dessert. It was kind of pricey and the serving size is small. The taste was good but lacks something it was good that they have 3 kinds of sauce that are available on the table. With 4 meals we ended up paying over 1,200 that came about maybe because they have 10% service charge.

Looove the smokey taste of the chicken and ribs! Quite refreshing on the palate given the popularity of restaurants serving dry rub ribs. Caesar salad was tasty too with the French beans, corn, and special croutons. Roasted Cauliflower soap was bland (what did I even expect? Haha).
Staff can be more attentive, though.

I am amazed at the perseverance of entrepreneurs and business owners who go through a series of difficulties, yet they remain steadfast in their passion for keeping up their businesses alive and on the top of their game. A great example of this is the Pitmaster's Smokehouse Barbecue. It was rather unfortunate that this establishment caught fire some time ago. But just like phoenix rising from the ashes, the Pitmaster's got into its feet and rebuilt once again. This time around, it is back with a vengeance.

The Pitmaster's Smokehouse Barbecue is owned primarily by Mr. Ben Donato and Chef Raffy Sunico. The place is in the heart of Pasig, particularly in Kapitolyo, where most interesting restaurants are situated in. The smokehouse boasts of a huge space that can seat quite a number of customers. The downside to coming here is its limited parking space. Despite the inconvenience, I must say that the Pitmaster's is still worth the visit.

It isn't actually my first time to dine in here. I have already visited this place in the past and I'm happy to be back to try their other specialties. The exciting part of this visit is that they just have so much items in their menu for us to discover and explore for ourselves. They are known for their awesome smoked pork ribs, sausages, briskets, and lip-smacking bacon slabs. Mmmm. Just writing this down makes me salivate from recalling all that sinful stuff. Well, huge thanks to the Big Dish app, we got to indulge in Pitmaster's menu offerings for half of its price! I, together with other foodies, was treated to a meat-lovers feast! The food spread on our table was quite crazy, I must say that we loaded up on so much protein that day.

One of the best items in their menu would have to be their Truffle Pizza. The taste of truffle was definitely bold and it was heightened on a thin crust dough. Every bite of it just spells h-e-a-v-e-n-l-y.

On the other hand, their Pit Nachos could use more excitement. These torched white nacho chips with salsa and melted cheese, topped with Pitmaster's Smoked Pulled Pork and Kesong Puti sauce (Php 410 for their Grande Serving and Php 230 for the Solo Size). If there's anything they should improve on with this platter, they need to make sure that the melted cheese is distributed evenly and extra generous in adding in more meat, their tasty pulled pork toppings. The addition of light flavored kesong puti was a welcome novelty, however.

Their unique take on the classic Ceasar Salad made quite an impression on me. Priced at Php 240, theirs come with smoked bacon strips, runny egg and homemade anchovy sauce. The flavors in this out of the box salad came in a harmonious fusion of deliciousness. Keep in mind to give this a try when you give this place a visit.

We also had their Smoked Coriander Chicken as part of the Pit Platter. This is a serving of a chicken leg quarter with honey chili garlic glaze. You may choose here to spice it up according to your tolerance. It can be in mild, hot, or magma level of spicy. This is available for Php 185 for two pieces, Php 370 for four pieces, and Php 740 for eight pieces. The latter is perfect to have when you're dining in with your family or group of friends. As for my verdict on it, I find it rather bland on my end. The flavors, unfortunately were only present on the surface but not on the insides.

Pit’s tender Black Angus Brisket showcased a great display of flavors. This type of meat was apparently cured and smoked for seven days. The process it went through was actually evident in its taste. If you want 200 grams of it, you will shelve out Php 270 and Php 520 for 400 grams. I suggest that you order it in greater quantity since you'll keep on popping this into your mouth for sure.

A favorite here would be their Smoked Bacon amongst a long list of meat they served us bloggers. It’s lean yet full of life, it’s smoky presence lingering with you for a long time. I suggest having these with French beans for an interesting contrast.

Their homemade Pit Smoked Sausage priced Php 240 for a single serving, and Php 450 for double, comes in your choice of garlic and herb or sweet pepper flavors. The level of spice is quite strong in this one, but nevertheless, vibrant in seasoning, I suggest that you give this a go with some warm rice.

We also got to taste their Pulled Pork Roll with Kesong Puti. It is made up of shredded pork butt toasted in Gochujang. I find it kinda greasy and needing a kicker.

To cap this off, I would like to give props to the folks behind Pitmaster's Smokehouse Barbecue for treating "barbecuing" as a serious work of art. They are indeed masters in a fiery business pit, providing their customers great food that satisfies and excellent customer service.

So when are you going to Kapitolyo again?

Pitmaster’s Smokehouse BBQ is a place you usually pass by when going around Kapitolyo to arrive at your favorite places. It's enclosed structure could be uninviting too but last week, I finally got to visit this pit.

Although we were still a little full from having some food beforehand, I still wanted to see what the smokehouse had in store. I got dishes from different parts of their menu to sample. On a side note, make sure to sift through their menu well since it’s quite disorganised and cluttered, you might miss something you’d like over what you’ve already ordered.

For the initial crowd of 3 I got an order of Pitmaster’s Smoked Ribs (Php235), Smoked Black Angus Beef Brisket (Php330), Smoked Bacon Strips (Php270), and of course some Pepper Rice because rice is life (Php50).

While waiting for the food we enjoyed looking around the wooden interiors. Unlike most places around Kapitolyo, this place has a lot of room to walk around, even a receiving area boasting their logo imprinted on their wall spanning from floor to ceiling. So if you’re with a party of 5 or 10, this place could easily have accommodate.

The Smoked Ribs came with a side of fries as we opted over rice. It’s been smoked for 7 hours so you really get that smoky and earthy flavor. It was well-dressed too with it’s nice and sweet barbecue sauce. This tender meat was the table’s favorite.

The Smoked Black Angus Beef Brisket came with a side of French Beans for some fiber to go with the protein. It was soft and flaky yet a little underwhelming for its lack of seasoning. Did not taste much of the meatiness either, quite fell flat on my book.

The Smoked Bacon Strips tasted as expected, adequate saltiness and resistant texture precisely because it was smoked. This was balance with lean meat and flavorful fat but not as crispy.

Since we had additional guests I had to get some dessert after they finished off what we couldn’t. Interesting selection of ice cream flavors. Ordered one of each: Double Chocolate, Orange & Ricotta and Pinatutong na Rice from Manila Creamery.

Double Chocolate Ice was made well and tasted like it was made with native chocolate. It was creamy with bold bittersweet taste to it. Pinatutong na Rice interestingly gave me a lingering burnt taste. Orange & Ricotta seemed to be the crowd favorite. Real bits of cheese and fruity balance with none of the bitter aftertaste.

Pits is not just an ordinary meat stop. It does have a lot of potential to be your carnivore go to place. I met one of their owners and from there I felt their desire to give each of their customers a worthy visit every time.

Well, all I had is some bacon and mashed sweet potatoes. But being elementarily trained in judging BBQ, this little place is doing good stuff. The walls & placemat are covered in smoke-bbq lingo. The waitress is polite. They have this hazelnut, apple & east capitol bbq sauces on the table. Place is no frills. The bacon had an amazing smokey flavour to it.

I am in love with this barbecue pit house!! 🤩

Spacious place. Affordable price. Quality food. 

So far, I have tried their Black Angus Brisket, Grilled Pork Chop, Chicken Skin, Red Sangria and their badass Pit Platter (which consists of Smoked Ribs, Black Angus Brisket, Smoked Bacon Strips, Smoked Corriander Chicken, Smoked Sausage, and 4 sides).

From all of the food I've mentioned, my favorite is their Ribs, Bacon Strips, and Pork Chop. They are all flavorful, sweet, and smoked. 
As for my least favorite, it's their Corriander Chicken. It needs a lot of improvement, like a lot. It is very dry and the meat has no taste at all.

In total, I love this place. I really recommend giving it a try 🙋

We visited this place twice already before their renovation, cool atmosphere, friendly servers and price was worth it. However when we came back after the renovation their prices were a bit off, anyway the food is still great, ribs and pasta dishes are a must try.

The ribs were tasty and tender. The angus beef brisket was really soft and it was my favorite. The grilled chicken also tasted really smoky. They also have rib sauces: hazelnut and apple and I prefer the hazelnut one. Overall it was a good dining experience. Would come back!

Its my 2nd time dining here. My first experience was superb, back when they still had in their menu a combo of smoked ribs (2pcs for 1 person - superb deal ) with a choice of rice (not plain rice - there are various types of rice to choose from) and i kept telling myself thiz is now my favorite ribs place, huge serving, yummy rice choices.

BUT then when i dined and returned the second time im surprised what i ordered back then is nowhere to be found on the menu. Their ribs set is only just plain rice now and just 1 pc of meat rib :( hoping u bring back the sulit deal back then!

Tasty ribs, good/chewy bite, yummy sauces, wide variety of side dishes. Their service is good too! I like that they are assisting their customers with the parking--it's good that the restaurant allotted parking space for their customers we all know that it's so hard to park in Kapitolyo.

We tried their nachos, their calamari, the pork ribs, the beef brisket, and their sausage. Their nachos were fairly standard, nothing that really stands out to me. Their calamari was excellent, probably one of the best appetizers they have. However, the serving size for the calamari was fairly small. The pork ribs were good, but the beef brisket was subpar, with the flavor lacking and the beef being kind of tough. The sausages were pretty expensive and they were also kind of dry. As for their sides, their sides had very small serving sizes also, while not exactly being cheap. Their truffle fries stand out to me though as the good side that I would want again. Ultimately, I really liked the calamari, the pork ribs, and the truffle fries. Everything else was nothing to write home about. So it's fine to come here, but I wouldn't go regularly at this point.

You come here for the meat.
We ordered Pit Nachos (P320 Grande / P200 Solo) to start us off. It’s supposedly torched white nacho chips topped with salsa, melted cheese, smoked pulled pork, jalapenos, olives, and kesong puti sauce. It was okay, my main problem with it was maybe half the chips were brittle (makunat). They weren’t hot too. When you say torched, I expect the chips to be heated. The toppings were great though.For our main course, we had Pork Ribs (Solo P350 / Half Rack P700 / Full Slab P1,400). We thought Half Rack, which consists of 6 big pieces of pork rib, would be perfect for us. We paired our Pork Ribs with Chimichurri Rice (P50 per serving). The Chimichurri Rice tastes like buttered rice sprinkled with some dried parsley, nothing like the Argentinian sauce it’s named after. When you order Pork Ribs, you can get two kinds of BBQ sauce to go with it. You have a choice between East Capitol, Hazelnut, and Apple. We chose East Capitol (the bestseller) and Apple. 

If I was on the fence with regards to the nachos and the rice, the Pork Ribs made our visit worthwhile. The meat is incredibly tender and grilled to perfection. Every juicy forkful just bursts with flavor. The sauces are really yummy too. We had one rib each with rice and we were stuffed. The pork rib + rice combo is really filling. We ended up taking home the remaining 3 ribs and eating them as ulam during our next meal.

Would we visit Pitmaster’s Smokehouse BBQ again? Hell yeah! I loved the Pork Ribs so much I want to give it a go again soon. I’ll pair it with other side dishes next time. Service was good. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. The place is nice, clean, and cozy too. Parking is limited to 2 cars, after which you will have to double park or parallel somewhere. That was the main problem for me.

Legit. Good food, good meat, good God let's eat! If you're alone, get the brisket. If you're in a group, get the pit platter. You're sure to leave full and satisfied with the food. Smoked meat taste is on point. Sides complement the mains well. Quality grub right here!

Smoked treats goodness! I'm glad that there are a number of restos now serving slow cooked meats, par example Pitmaster's Smokehouse in Kapitolyo. 🍽🐮🐷🍝👍 Pit Nachos. Smoked Pork Ribs. Smoked Bacon Strips. Smoked Black Angus Brisket. Smoked Sausage. Truffle Pasta. East Capitol, Apple and Hazelnut Sauces. Brisket Juice. Table Red Wine.

More on the sweet side, bacon is King! Ribs kinda dry but tender enough to fall off the bone. Brisket was so-so and the sausage was forgettable. Surprise dish of the day - truffle pasta. Priced at PHP 155, they didn't scrimp on the truffle.

Good alternative for family and barkada to feast on smoked meats!

So much time spent in preparing and smoking the pork ribs! But so little attention given to the rice (sayang!) Wish the rice was nicer, parang kulang SA tubig when cooking it. Although the pork ribs are really fall off the bone soft. Maybe it was boiled prior to smoking, as the smoke rings normally present in barbeque not so pronounced in our serving, and the cartilage is pressure cooker soft. Beef brisket was smokey in flavor, soft and moist. I just wish they didn't use local charcoal wood smoking. Matapang flavor ng charcoal natin, but who am I to say? I wasn't there when it was smoking time, but if you used local beef instead of Angus, I couldn't of told the difference. Just saying. True value sells a lot of imported woods like hickory and applewood. For the prices that are being charged here, I guess I expected something a bit more special from the smokey flavors of the meats. Everything said, i'd most probably return because I don't have the patience anymore to monitor my barbeque for hours like the pitmaster cooks do. For me, They're the real deal when it comes to smoked barbeque, not like other establishments that just boil and add barbeque sauce on the meat, which kinda kills the true spirit of barbeque.

Weve been here last dec. 21 . Nice place to dine .all the staff is welcoming specially the host. Pero wala pang systema yung sequence of service nila.food is good i like the serving ng nachos ,chimichuri rice parang parsley rice lng .i dont like the slaw too much dressing wala ng crunch yung greens and no seasoning blonde taste .the ribs i good tasty and tender but only out side i think need more marination or strong spices to rub.the best yung mga bbq sauce i like yung apple nag compliment yung lasa nya para sa beef and ribs. As a chef my overall experience is Good i know they can do better.

Pitmaster's is back after renovation.  One of the best Smoked BBQ resto around.  Had the Pork Ribs and Beef Brisket.  The meat was tender and falls off the bone.  While there were different sauces available, the meat can stand on its own without sauce.  Will be back for more.

We randomly found this place and decided to try it for lunch. The staff were accommodating and the food did not take long to arrive. I ordered their Angus Brisket with East Capitol sauce. I can say that it was cooked well and the sauce compliments it. A must try!

Smoke at its finest. Ordered the Pit platter to sample all their offerings. Love the ribs and the angus beef. The ribs were really smoky and good, the beef was melt in your mouth. Chose french beans, slaw, sweet potato mash, kimchi and chimichurri rice and the potato wedges with truffle oil. Enjoyed the potato wedges, kimchi and the chimichurri rice. I prefer my bacon crispy, so not a fan of theirs, but the smoky flavor was good. Will definitely go back again here. Maybe tomorrow!

Best tasting ribs in Town! It tasted that it was made with love and respect. The flavors were balanced sweet tangy it hits every point on your taste buds! Also the bacon is LOVE! I am not a fan of sweet tasting food but this is bacon this is my only exemption ;) Please do try it for yourself! We will definitely go back for more! Just comment on the angus beef sandwich the bread seemed to be not worthy of the succulent meet. I just hope they used a crustier bread ;)

This new ribhouse entry in the country came in swinging to live up with all of the social media hype it put up. Glad to say it did very well in my opinion and is now one of my favorte ribhouses.

Pros. The food. definitely. I ordered pork ribs with mac and cheese, truffle fries and chili con carne and they scream unique and authentic. The chili con carne is a bit on the hot and spicy side for me which is awesome for me. I find it to be a bold move, however to make it taste that way as the local palette might not enjoy such tastes. The mac and cheese and truffle fries seem to be unique takes on classic sides as Pitmaster does add in new twists to the said dishes and skillfully pulls them off.

And of course, the ribs. The centerpiece of my meal. They were served perfectly, warm, but not scalding hot and ready to eat. The meat was very tender and easily falls of the bone. Seriously it was so tender the steak knife they gave us while eating this was just for show. In terms of flavor, it was actually quite flavorful on its own. The dry rubs used in cooking really permeated through the meat and the smoky flavor is really well accentuated in the dish. Compared to other rib joints however, the meat is a bit dry, possibly because of the long brining process and the low and slow cooking as per their fb ad. I dont see this as a con, however because the dipping sauce they provude really brings in a lot of moisture into the meat, making it juicy

Con: Price. In my opinion its not to say that the food pricing is not justified, it is just that good ribs could still be had at a lesser price, even if it may not be as good as Pitmaster's. I think it really isnt meant to compete with lower priced ribhouses and restaurants as I feel it isnt the market that this restaurant will thrive in, given the quality of food it serves.

And last con, parking. :p this restaurant needs parking. I was very fortunate that I happened to grab the last parking slot on their frontage on a wednesday night and the guards were accomodating us well to be able to park but their parking slots were already full even if the restaurant itself was only about 1/2 full when I went there, meaning possibly the layout could have been better optimized to make better use of space.

The restaurant is conveniently located in kapitolyo with its own 3-car parking space -which is a big thing in kapitolyo. The first time I tried their ribs, it was fork tender. However, the second time it wasn't as tender but, still more tender and much bigger than the rest of the ribs place in the area. Their Mac and cheese with curry is pretty good when it comes to taste and serving size. The only downside to this resto is that their service is pretty slow for pick-up orders. Th last time I ordered for pick-up, I called 45mins earlier to give them the time they need. However, when I got there, I waited for another 45 mins to get my order. I'm not sure if I ordered early (4:45 pm) considering they open at 11 am or the service was just slow. Overall, it's worth the money.

The restaurant was on its dry run when I tried the 15 hours smoked Angus beef brisket. Php190/g. It was very tender. Sind ING was just perfect. Definitely a must try. Will come back to try the rest of their offerings...

You shouldn't miss this place when in Kapitolyo! You can even smell the amazing aroma of smoked meat from outside! Try their super tender and tasty smoked ribs (their apple sauce is a personal fave!) with kimchi rice on the side (with sous vide egg!). For great comfort food, you can't go wrong with their Truffle Fries and Mac n' Cheese too!

Probably the newest and hottest restaurant in Kapitolyo right now, Pitmaster's is simply a must try. From their, Melts in your mouth Angus brisket, to the sous-vide egg on top of your rice, I'm sure you'll be able to find something that will satisfy your craving for sumptuous meat. The price is very good for the amount and quality of the food served. If you love protein and are a fan of smoked meat, then Pitmaster's is the place to eat.

Best ribs and angus brisket in town! Meat easily falls off from the bones. They have huge servings! Worth your money that is. A 150g of pork ribs or angus brisket is already good enough for me. But then again, that's just me. You can always order a half-rack or a full slab! Lol. The main dishes come with a variety of side dishes. Personally, my favorites are the Chimichurri Rice w/ sous vide egg, and the 4 cheese mac-n-cheese. They also have delicious appetizers! I love their Smoked Bacon Chips! I usually order 2 just to satisfy my hunger, my pre-main-dish ritual that is. Haha they also have Pulled Pork Roll w/ Kesong Puti Sauce and Chicken Skin! This is definitely a must try! Good food, good ambiance, and good service!

** I recently brought my family to this restaurant and needless to say, they were all praises! They loved every bite they had. Plus my mom, who doesn't really eat that much, ate a lot!

Best ribs in town. You definitely wont regret it! Best angus brisket in town also. Haha. All the sides are wonderful. My favorite is the chimichuri rice and parmesan crusted kamote fries! People definitely need to try this!
